Mohammad Tawhidi, a popular Muslim reformist Imam has taken to his twitter page to speak up against little kids wearing hijabs.
Tawhidi who wondered why parents will be covering their kids with scarfs and robes meant for grown women in a video he shared, stated that the act sexualizes little girls.
In his words ;
She’s a toddler that can’t even walk. Why do you cover her up with a robe and scarf that’s intended for mature women only? Even if you claim it’s a religious practice, it doesn’t apply to baby girls. You’re sexualizing a baby girl. You are sick.
