Nigerian comedian, Freedom Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr. Jollof, has finally revealed why he stopped campaigning for the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

The comedian had previously used his social media pages to rally support for Tinubu, and he even lambasted those who criticized him for supporting Tinubu after bashing him (Tinubu) in 2020.

At the time, Mr. Jollof told those criticizing him that everything he said about Tinubu in the past was out of “ignorance” and that Tinubu was his preferred candidate. Read here.

“Whatever I have said about Asiwaju, I was blind; now I can see; I was a baby then. Election na competition go and sell your candidate !!! See you on Election Day đź—ł I am BATTIFIED”. He said.

However, in a recent development, it may seem as though the skit maker and staunch Tinubu supporter has again made a U-turn, as a check on his Instagram page showed he has deleted all his posts endorsing Tinubu for president.

A curious fan then took to the comment section of one of his posts to ask why he stopped campaigning for Tinubu, and interestingly, he replied.

“You no campaign for APC again?”, the fan asked.

Responding, Mr Jollof wrote, “Their market too hard to sell”.
