A lady didn’t hope for an April Fool’s Day prank on her man to go south as after doing the prank, she got the opposite reaction of what she’d expected.
The lady buzzed her beau in the morning of April fool’s day via Instant messaging app, WhatsApp and told him that she was in love with someone else.
As opposed to what she’d expected, for him to react in an heartbroken way, the gentleman identified as Victor Babatunde appeared to be cool about it and accepted it in good faith.
Taken aback by his attitude, the lady asked if they were breaking up and he answered affirmatively. His babe then pleaded for him to stay with her even though she’s in love with someone else… a notion Victor deemed as “crap”.
The lady eventually tried to let him out of his misery and told him it was an April Fool’s prank but Victor was not having it and appeared to be no longer interested in the conversation and ignored her.

On another episode of “what I ordered vs what I got”, a mother has taken action against a vendor who delivered “fake” hair to her daughter.
It was gathered that the customer (the woman’s daughter) ordered a luxury hair online but didn’t get the quality of hair she expected.
The distraught customer then took to her IG page to call out the vendor and shared photos of the hair she ordered and the one that was delivered to her.
According to her, she paid N220k for the weave; screenshot of her chat with the hair vendor corroborates her story.
Trouble started when the vendor delivered a weave that was a far-cry from what she advertised on Instagram. Disappointed by the weave, the customer decided to seek justice on social media as she called out the vendor and appealed to her followers to help report her page.
However, her mother who appears to be a no-nonsense woman, decided to take matters into her own hands. She drove down to the vendor’s shop and seized a wig worth more than what her daughter paid for.

A Twitter user identified as Nadia, has taken to the platform to call out her sister’s 35-year-boyfriend over domestic violent.
According to Nadia, her 21-year-old sister is a victim of a horrible domestic violence. She alleged that her sister’s partner, beat her up, kidnapped her and nearly killed her.
In series of tweet Nadia narrated how the abuser tied her sister to his steering with her body hanging out of the car, while he angrily drove around.

A suspected kidnapper reportedly arrested in Nasarawa, has allegedly revealed that he sold the children he abducted for the meagre sum of N1,000 each.
The report of his arrest was shared online by one Linus Emmanuel, a Media Monitoring Officer at The Nigeria Football Federation, on Wednesday, March 31.
According to him, the suspect simply identified as Umaru, is a notorious kidnapper of children in Mararaba and Masaka axis of Nasarawa.
He alleged that Umaru confessed to have kidnapped over 5 children and sold them for N1,000 each to the second suspect, Bawa Madaki.
He shared photos of the arrested suspects on Facebook and wrote,
“Finally Umaru the kidnapper of children in mararaba & masaka has been arrested. Umaru said he has kidnapped over five children within mararaba, masaka axis and sold them#1000 each to BAWA MADAKI in masaka there. Thank God both were arrested by the police”.

It all started when he shared his pre-wedding photos on Instagram, and a fan identified as Oppyjoseph took to the comment section to congratulate him on his engagement and also bash his contents. According to the fan, Woli Arole does not dish out good contents anymore.

The remark didn’t go down well with the entertainer as he expressed his displeasure at the fan for being insensitive. He also advised the fan to adopt constructive criticism, rather than disrespecting people’s hard work.

A female student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, who falsely accused the owner of a popular restaurant in the school of using mortuary water to cook, has retracted her statement and tendered her unreserved apology to the restaurant owner.
The Female student identified as Mide took to Twitter days ago to allege that the restaurant uses water from bathing dead bodies to prepare food served at the restaurant.
According to Mide, the woman does this to boost her sales and consequently taking the glories of customers who eat from the food.
Mide’s claim threw social media in a frenzy and created panic amongst students of the school who have at one time or the other patronized the restaurant.
In a new development, Mide has now taken to Twitter to retract her statement and tendered her unreserved apology to the woman.

In an interview with Glazia Magazine, the former Big Brother Naija housemate disclosed that she took her fourth WASSCE during her third year in the university, in a bid to switch to a course she was passionate about.
In her words,
“I was stressing me and I had to write WAEC and Jamb four times. I think I wrote the fourth WAEC shortly before the reality show. In school, I actually helped people from the art class with their assignments. Then in university, people studying theatre arts and mass comms would come to meet me to help them with assignments.”
These were people in 400 level while I was in 100 level studying Agriculture. I was basically studying something I had no interest in, and helping people do their own assignments. So, when I wrote my fourth WAEC exam, I was hoping to pass and move. I didn’t mind starting from the beginning because I was already in a 300 level Agriculture.”

A Nigerian national identified as Babatope Joseph Aderinoye, 30, was sentenced to federal prison for violations related to a bank fraud and money laundering conspiracy.
Babatope Aderinoye, was convicted in October of 2020, on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, wire fraud and money laundering, as well as aggravated identity theft and mail fraud. Aderinoye committed the crimes by obtaining fake passports using other people’s identities. He then used those passports to set up fake businesses and bank accounts. Investigators connected him to at least 13 different aliases, 12 fake businesses and 40 fraudulent bank accounts.
He used various e-mail compromise scams and telephone compromise scams to defraud the victims. His co-conspirators would pose as someone familiar and encourage their victims to wire funds to fraudulent bank accounts. Once the money arrived in Aderinoye’s fraudulent accounts, he would withdraw the funds and transfer them to a bank account he had set up in Nigeria.
Fox4 News reported that between June 2018 and September 2019, Aderinoye stole more than $6.7 million from his victims, included a man who lost his entire retirement savings, Community ISD in southeastern Collin County and the non-profit organization Project 4031. In addition to his prison sentence, Aderinoye was ordered to pay nearly $2 million in restitution.

In photos that were shared on the internet, the grandpa reportedly went to his partner’s office with flowers and the adorable moment they both saw each other at the office lobby was caught on camera.
In the photos, the wife is seen happily walking towards her partner who leaned against the wall and had the flowers hidden behind his back.
Once the lovely lady got to him, they both excitedly embraced each other in their arms… the lovely moment has since melted hearts of many online.
