Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Adekunle Temitope professionally known as Small Doctor, has made a shocking and unexpected revelation about his personal life.

In a recent chat with media personality, Nancy Isime on her show, ‘The Nancy Isime Show’, the singer revealed that he is married with kids.

Nancy Isime had asked the Fuji and Afro-pop singer what advice he would give to anyone working hard to survive.

Small Doctor responded,

“What I’ll say to him is if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. There’s no limitation to what someone can achieve in life. This is Canada that I can never believe I’ll have a visa talk less of having a family there”.

Isime was obviously shocked by the revelation as she stared at him with widened eyes. To get more clarity on his statement, she asked further, “You have a family in Canada?”.

An Ijaw traditionalist, Bodmas Prince Kemepadei, recently took to Facebook to announce the arrest of a notorious criminal, Emmanuel Omuruku, a.k.a GBALA BLOCK by the Bayelsa State Police command.

Kemepadei, who denounced Christianity late last year and accepted the Egbesu worship, alleged that last year the suspect robbed his POS shop and went away with about #250,000, phones and a laptop.

He went on to brag about being untouchable because of his new-found religion. According to him, anyone who robs, dupes or hurt him can’t go scot free because Egbesu is with him.

Egbesu is an ancient war deity entrusted to the Ijaw ethnic nation by the Almighty to defend themselves in times of war and oppression. The ancient cult declined after the successful British occupation of the Ijaw lands in the late 19th century.

Friends throw survival party for a rape victim after a suicide attempt (video)

Friends have thrown a survival party for a Nigerian lady, Dorothy Etim Edet who was rescued after she attempted suicide on her birthday.

Dorothy, a popular activist took to her Facebook page to a suicide note, after she and her two roommates were raped by four men who entered their residence. Meanwhile, before now the young lady has been a rape victim more than 5 times.

It was learnt that the other two ladies reportedly committed suicide while Dorothy tried to be strong, however, frustrated and depressed, Dorothy took to her Facebook page on her birthday, to beg for death.

In a suicide note she shared on Facebook in the early hours of Sunday, March 21st, she said she is ready to die and hopes to return as a man, so that she can fight rapists and defend rape victims.

She wrote,

“ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!
Sweet, sweet, suicide, Will you visit me tonight. Tired of feeling suicidal when my aspirations are stifled
Fighting back tears while smiling from ear to ear, I know God won’t help, He’s good, I need to believe in myself
I would.

But every time I try dark forces pull me behind, my unfulfilled dreams haunt me incessantly, they depend on me to thrive. Its My BIRTHDAY Anyways, But I have to Go, Tired of All this headaches and Pains. Smiling outside while bleeding inside, Saying I’m Okay when I’m Not.

I will return as a Man, To fight for women and young girls, I will not spare any RAPIST, I’ll be a Judge with a difference, I’ll speak for the voiceless And Bless the Poor. My second coming will be AMAZING, LET ME REST!!!

Fortunately, friends reached her in time and rushed her to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital where she has been receiving treatment.

On Sunday night, March 21st, moment after her suicide attempt, friends threw her a “survival” party at the hospital as it was also her birthday.

Dorothy shared photos from the survival party and wrote, “I survived! Happy Birthday to Me. Thankyou for your prayers”.

Recall that in 2018, social media was set ablaze with news that her kid sister, Hauwa married her ex, Mohammed Yar’Adua, the son of late NNPC Managing Director Abubakar Yar’Adua.

A man identified as Ronald Mutandagay, who is theGroup Chief Executive Officer of Zimbabwe Bank (ZB) Financial Holdings Group, has taken a leave of absence after a video of him assaulting his wife went viral on social media.

In the clip which was reportedly recorded by his 16-year-old daughter, Mutandagayi can be seen chasing his estranged wife and striking her in the face. The blow that was landed brought Mutandagayi’s wife falls to the ground.

The video incited widespread outrage and the board of the financial services group is currently considering the “appropriate action” to take against its GCEO following the disturbing footage.

A statement released by ZB Financial Holdings read;

“The board of directors of ZB Financial Holdings Limited has taken note of the social media communication relating to the Group Chief Executive Officer Mr. R. Mutandagayi which was published on the evening of 7 March 2021,” the banks said in a statement addressed to its customers.

“The matter in question is before the courts. In the meantime, Mr R. Mutandagayi has taken leave of absence from his duties while the board of directors of the group considers appropriate action on the matter.

“Stakeholders will be advised of any new developments as they arise.”

Nigerian rapper, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, better known by his stage name, Phyno has said he can go an entire year without rapping and will still have the support of his fans.

The indigenous rapper in an interview with media personality, Ehiz, aka Dadaboy, bragged about his core fan base.

According to him, he has a core fan base in the Eastern part of Nigeria and has also managed to amass fans in the West too.

Phyno who noted that he can go an entire year without rapping and he’ll be fine, revealed he has gone from the days when he made zero income to now making over 9 figures.

Speaking further he described superstar singers, Olamide and Reminisce as his family in the west.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian social media user identified as @uncleajala on Twitter, has sparked a debate on the platform after coming out to state that indigenous rapper Olamide played a significant role in Phyno’s rise to fame.

Ajala had urged music lovers to learn to appreciate Olamide for everything he has done in the music industry. He listed artistes like Lil Kesh, Naira Marley, Chinko Ekun, Fireboy DML alongside his colleague Phyno, who all owe their success to the rapper.

His post reads,

Before you disrespect Olamide, just know that Olamide had done alot for Nigeria entertainment industry, he made us know Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun, Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Fireboy, Young John, Pheelz, Dj enimoney, Lyta, Phyno etc, always put a respect on his name.

“If any preacher tries to give you a vision, run!” – Lady narrates how she was duped of N3.2M by ‘fake prophets’

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to recount her ordeal, after she was hypnotized and duped of 3.2 million naira by some men who paraded themselves as prophets.

According to the young lady identified as Tobismallz on Instagram, In February 2021, a young prophet approached her with the warning of seeing a bad omen around her, which was followed by exchanging contacts for follow up.

On the evening of February 4th, she reached out to him, and the prophet told her more personal shocking revelations about herself, and was asked to come to a church for prayers.

In the church, she was hypnotized and this caused her to withdraw the sum of 3.2million naira from her account.

Tobi revealed she kept begging and borrowing more money from family and friends, until her mother realized she wasn’t doing things on her own accord.

Although the prophet and his accomplice has now been arrested , Tobi described the experience has depressing and revealed she was at the verge of committing suicide, but was saved by family and friends who stood by her.
