Former Miss Nigeria, Helen Prest Ajayi has disclosed the trauma she went through after her husband, Dr Oluwatosin Ajayi’s death.

Dr. Ajayi, who died on April 26, 2020, was laid to rest on Feb 11 at the Ebony Vault in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Helen said she was accused of murdering him by his adult children and there was commotion during the funeral.

She wrote on Facebook ;

This is the first day of Lent a time for spiritual healing and cleansing. This will be my last word on this matter.

It was never my wish to talk about the passing of my late husband Dr Tosin Ajayi on social media, despite the fact that during this 10 month period, from his death on April 26th 2020, I was accused of murdering him by his adult children and their mother, after spending 42 days in St Nicholas Hospital Lagos, by his bedside and dragged to Panti police station, then to Coroners court and then to High court.

I am thankful that God delivered me from all these false accusations and gave me victory to bury my late husband in the manner he deserved.

I want to express my gratitude to those men and women of God praying with me during these trying moments. I am also grateful for the unflinching support of my family and friends all over the world, who stood by me, even the “Aprokos” propagating me to stardom.

Throughout this 10 month period my sole focus and objective was to ensure that I gave my late husband a befitting burial in accordance with his status as an Icon in the healthcare field in Nigeria, which I am happy I achieved in his honour. Love is at the heart of everything in life. For God is love and Love is God.

Chioma shared the massive upgrade she underwent within the space of few months. She used to operate her business and sell wigs out of her room, but has now opened her own wig studio.

The Enugu-based wigmaker warmed the hearts of social media users with the photos of her ‘How it started vs How its going’ which she shared on microblogging platform, Twitter.

In a post she shared in November 2020, Chioma had vowed to share photos of herself in her own studio, by the grace of God.

A Nigerian doctor identified on Twitter as Dr. Halima, has taken to the micro-blogging platform to call out an alleged lawmaker from Anambra state who wooed her via DM.

She shared screenshots of the chat between herself and the said legislator who identified himself as honourable Obinna.

Based on their chat, it was revealed that the man obtained her number by sending her an email regarding a business proposal.

She wanted to get straight to business but he said honourable said that the business he was referring to is her.

He then promised to take her anywhere around the world as there is surplus money to spend.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 11.50am at Atoyo inbound Ogbere, along Ijebu Ode/Benin Expressway in Ogun state. Unfortunately, four persons were burnt to dead in the fire.

The actor was one of the 10 persons who escaped being burnt to death in the terrible accident and he took to his Instagram page to express gratitude to God for sparing his life.

Residents of Texas have been seen in a viral video lining up to fetch water amid days of blackout in the state occasioned by failure in natural gas operations.

According to operators, the bulk of the power loss in Texas came from natural gas suppliers as pipelines froze, making it difficult for plants to get the fuel they needed.

Electricity is normally used to pump water into the homes of residents but since the outage, many have resorted to seeking alternative ways of accessing their daily needs.

In a video shared online by abc reporter, Erica Simon, citizens could be seen in a queue holding buckets and dispenser containers as they fetched water from a borehole tap.

In her words; This is not a third world country. This is Houston, Texas. I spotted a line of people filing up buckets of water from a spicket at Haden Park. Why? Millions either have no water or are under a Boil Water Advisory.

A Nigerian digital strategist and influencer has surprised his girlfriend with an expensive present on valentine’s day.

The man identified as @Chemicalbrodar on Twitter, bought a brand new Toyota car and presented it to his woman on February 14.

He recorded a video of the moment he showed her the brand new car, which he described as a little Valentine’s Day gift.

In the clip, the young man used his hand to cover her eyes as he led her from inside the house to the street where the car is packaged.

According to him, the car was bought for her so that she would no longer be taking the bus. The excited girlfriend could be seen hugging the car and her man in appreciation of the gift.

Popular Nigerian socialite, PrettyMike has been called out on social media for allegedly staging a valentine’s gift presentation.

Recall the internet sensation days ago took to social media to complain that an anonymous admirer sent him a pre-valentine’s day gift.

According to him the anonymous lady dropped the package at his security post without any card or means of identification.

Pretty Mike in another post shared a photo of himself with a gift box and begged people sending stuffs over to his place to stop.

However, a Lawyer, Mr Akeem Fadun has now taken to Twitter to allege that the socialite gifted himself the gift in the guise of an anonymous female admirer, named queen but crossed certain lines which cost the guard his job.

The Eleshin security services alleged that Pretty Mike in the video share on his Instagram page made defamatory statement against the security company.

Amazon Boss, Jeff Bezos has reclaimed his title of world’s richest person, ending Elon Musk’s six-week reign on top of the list.

Musk lost about $4.5 billion on Tuesday after Tesla (TSLA) shares fell 2.4%, taking him to second place on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index ranking.

Bezos’ net worth also fell by about $372 million but that was enough to take him to top spot, a position he has held for about three years.

As at Wednesday, February 17, the Bloomberg Billionaire’s index currently says Bezos is worth $191 billion compared to Musk’s $190 billion.

Musk’s surge to first place happened in early January, when the 170 million shares of Tesla he already owns.

Amazon CEO Bezos’s stake in the company increased by $75 billion in 2020, to $173.3 billion, given the huge increase in sales driven by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo has issued a stern warning to “predators”, asking them to stay away from his 15-year old daughter, Aliyah.

The actor who took to his official Twitter page to share adorable photo of himself with his daughter, revealed that although his teenage daughter is just 15, she has the mind of a 35 -year old.

He tweeted,

“She’s 15 but has a mind of a 35year old. I pray one day the world celebrate you my little princess. All predators stay off”.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo also known as Nino B, has said that he constantly reminds his daughter, Aliyah, that he is not her father.

According to the hunky movie star, he only plays a Guardian role in the life of his kid while God is her only Father.

He also explained that because of his constant reminder, she keeps God first in everything she does.

Sharing photos of himself and Aliyah, he wrote,

I remind her every day that only GOD is her father, i remain her Guardian

So she keeps GOD first and i, behind her back”.

Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, has once again proven that she is the sole protector of her marriage as she clashed with some “well-meaning” fans on Instagram.

The thespian had taken to photo and video sharing platform, Instagram, to share a photo of herself and her husband kissing. She shared the photo in celebration of her one-year wedding anniversary.

Anita has been known to flaunt her husband, MC Fish, on social media and throw jabs at anyone who makes a negative comment about them.

The couple marked their first year in marriage on Sunday, February 14, and the actress shared lovely photos of them in traditional attires. Still basking in the euphoria of their anniversary, Anita shared an intimate photo of herself kissing her man.

Fans of the movie star took to the comment section to advise her against constantly putting her marriage in the public eye. A troll stated that it appears that the actress is overcompensating for the “unhappiness” she feels in her marriage with social media posts.

Sensational Nigerian singer, Omawunmi Megbele has replied people questioning if her butt is natural or surgically enhanced.

The 38-year-old singer took to her Instagram page to address the curious cats, who have been raising speculations that she had butt enlargement surgery.

Omawunmi dismissed the speculation as false and emphatically stated that her buttocks is natural. She added that doubting Thomases can still go ahead to ask her cousins if she is telling the truth.

However, she admitted that she would like to work on some parts of her body in the future.

Police officer spotted in his uniform preaching at a market (Video)

An alleged officer of the Nigerian Police Force, was recently spotted at a popular market preaching in his uniform.

In the video serving rounds online, the police officer was spotted in the market in Anambra state preaching the gospel in his uniform.

The viral video has however stirred mixed reactions on social media, While some applauded the police officer for preaching, others kicked against it saying it is against the law to to preach while in a police uniform.

In other news, An eyewitness has captured the moment a male and female preacher were fighting over a preaching spot in Ikeja, Lagos state.

The two preachers appeared to have gone separately to the commercial area of the state, with the intention to preach the gospel to passers-by.

They, however, threw caution to the wind as they reportedly fought for a preaching spot in the area.

In the viral video currently serving rounds on social media, the female preacher could be seen charging at the male preacher and hurling insults at him while he was holding a bible and firing prayer against her.

It is still unclear how the brawl started because it seemed like the preachers knew eachother before the incident.
