He stated this while reacting to a viral video of the embarrassing moment a lady rejected her boyfriend’s engagement ring in public.

Ubi asserted that if the lady eventually agrees and the man goes ahead to marry her, the marital union will not work. The media personality added that he has been in a similar situation.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Samuel Animashaun Perry a.k.a Broda Shaggi, has revealed what informed his decision to go into comedy.

The actor made this disclosure during the private screening of ‘Ponzi’, an upcoming movie, in Lagos. According to him, poverty led him into entertainment.

After the death of his father, Shaggi relocated to Lagos from his hometown in Ikenne, Ogun State. He stayed with his aunt in the Makoko area of Lagos and continued his education.

In his words,

“I came from Ikenne in Ogun state. I left Ikene when my father died for Lagos where I lived with my aunt in Makoko area. She was the one who took care of me till l left the university. So, I was neither born with a silver spoon nor grew up in Lekki. Everything started in Makoko.”

Chidi is an entrepreneur who worked for a tech company in New York as a business analyst before she ventured into entrepreneurship. According to her, she is traveling the world while building global businesses.

The 25 year old was born in Canada and raised in Nigeria and South Africa.

An unidentified 97-year-old woman, has reacted after she was violently raped in her home in Gadaka, Fika local government area of Yobe state.

It was gathered that the elderly woman was rape by a 35-year-old man identified as Mohammed Faruk. The woman who was violently raped revealed she hasn’t had sex in 40 years, until the unfortunate incident.

The suspect allegedly beat her up, broke her two teeth before he finally had his way.

In a chat with newsmen at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Damaturu, the state capital, the victim said her rapist had invaded her home in February 2021 and violently raped her.

Confirming the incident to the newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, Dungus Abdulkarim, said the suspect has since confessed to the crime and has been arraigned before a magistrate court where he was ordered to be remanded in police custody.

Wife of a farmer, Funmilayo Oluwadara, has delivered a set of quintuplets in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo state

The 38-year-old woman gave birth to four girls and a boy at Ayoka Clinic and Maternity Center, Oke Ado, Ogbomoso on Thursday, March 4.

Mrs Oluwadara, a resident of Ahoroko village in Oyo town, is now a mother of ten as she’s had five children before the birth of the quintuplets.

The doctor in charge of the Clinic, Dr. Afolabi Sikurulahi who handled the delivery of the quintuplets, gave glory to God for the safe delivery.

Meanwhile, the father of the quintuplets, Mr.Idowu Oluwadara, 40, a Togolese farmer who came to Nigeria to find work, solicited for assistance from government and the public to ensure adequate care for the five children.
