A 91-year-old woman has married the love of her life, a 73-year-old man in a grand wedding after dating him for over 10 years.
The woman identified as Evelina Meadder tied the nuptial knot to her long term boyfriend Calgent Wilson who is 73 years old in a grand wedding in Jamaica.
According to a report by the Mirror, the newly-wed’s love story could be traced to 2009 when Evelina fell sick and Calgent, a farmer, took care of her until she recovered.
Evelina revealed that ever since they became an item, he would talk about them getting married but it was when he had been drinking so she would laugh it off.
They have finally tied the knot and we wish them a happy married life.

Two ex-convicts, Abiodun Oshoba and Mustapha Sakiru have been arrested by operatives of the Ogun State police command for allegedly dispossessing one Aminu Iliyasu of his Bajaj motorcycle with registration number SGM 965 VQ at gunpoint.
A statement released by Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesperson of the state police command, says that the suspects were arrested following a complaint lodged at Shagamu police station by the victim who reported that the two suspects boarded his motorcycle as passengers and asked him to take them to conference hotel at G.R.A quarters Sagamu.
On their way to the place, the suspects brought out a gun and ordered him to stop. They subsequently dispossessed him of the motorcycle and made away with it.
Upon the report, the DPO Shagamu division, CSp Okiki Agunbiade mobilized his men and in-conjunction with members of vigilante group blocked all the exit points of the GRA and commenced stop and search.
Their efforts yielded positive result when the motorcycle was sighted at one of the exit point, riding by Abiodun Oshoba with the plate number folded.
“On sighting the policemen, He abandoned the bike and took to his heels. He was chased and apprehended by the policemen. His arrest led to the apprehension of his accomplice, Mustapha Sakiru. A locally made pistol with one live cartridge was recovered from them.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the duo met in Igbeba prison where they served different jail terms and decided to form a gang after their terms in the prison.
While Sakiru Mustapha was jailed in 2016 for hijacking a truck, Abiodun Oshoba was jailed in 2019 for snatching a phone; both of them came out of prison in 2020 and decided to continue their devilish trade.” the statement read.
Oyeyemi added that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Edward A. Awolowo has ordered the transfer of the suspects to State Criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation and prosecution.

Reports of how the founder and Lead pastor of the Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministries International, based in Abuja, prophet Emmanuel Omale, foresaw the military plane crash that happened in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja last Sunday has begun serving rounds on the internet.
The plane crash occurred near the Abuja airport at the weekend, left all military officials on board dead. A video that’s now circulating the internet shows Omale revealing that the incident could happen and called on Nigerians to pray to avert it.
The Nigerian Air Force plane had an engine failure on Sunday, leading to the death of seven people. The incident happened near the Abuja airport.
But in a video which was part of 2021 prophecies published in January this year, the senior pastor hinted on the incident and called for prayers for it to be averted.
Omale released 32 prophecies for the running year and the 14th prophecy is specifically on the crash.
He had asked Nigerians to pray so as to avert the negative impact of the prophecy.
Omale, however, prayed for the souls of those that lost their lives in the crash during his church service on Monday, asking God to grant the family, loved ones and the entire nation the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Officers of the Lagos state Police Command have arrested a pickpocket and a dismissed soldier for robbery.
According to reports, the 27-year-old pickpocket identified as Ayomide Sikiru disclosed that he had stolen 240 mobile phones from commuters in Lagos, since he started operation one year and two months ago.
The dismissed soldier was however arrested in another operation while he was in the company of an accomplice, robbing residents of the Aguda Axis of Lagos.
The pickpocket, Ayomide Sikiru, 27, a resident of Akala, Mushin, was arrested around 10:00 p.m on Sunday, after he successfully picked a Tecno Camon 12 from the hand bag of an elderly woman when she was trying to board a commercial bus to Ojodu-Berger, Lagos.
Sikiru, who disclosed that it took him 15 days to learn the criminal act, revealed that he operated between Thursdays and Saturdays only.
His modus operandi included boarding a bus and removing phones from ladies hand bags or men’s pockets.
Luck however ran against him after he was confronted by the owner of the phone.
During interrogation, he said:
“I live in Akala, Mushin. I don’t use charm. Someone taught me how to pickpocket. I followed him out for 15 days and watched how he did it until I became perfect. I only operated at night, sometimes when passengers were sleeping inside the bus or rushing to board a commercial bus. I have so far stolen 240 phones. I sell them to ready buyers”.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi , who confirmed the arrest, said phones had been handed over to their owners.

The Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, has paid a condolence visit to wife of Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi who died in the Air Force plane crash on Sunday, February 21.
The governor on Tuesday morning, February 23rd, visited the wife of the deceased personnel, Omolola Olawunmi in her home.
Recall the late Olawuni died alongside six others in the plane crash which occurred in Abuja on Sunday.
The aircraft was identified as a Military plane and it crashed near Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, amidst reports that there were no survivors.
Aviation minister, Hadi Sirika confirmed the development in a short statement on Twitter Sunday afternoon.

“A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure enroute Minna. It appears to be fatal. We should remain calm & wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.”

Idakula countered the advise and stated that there are many women who hid their pregnancies from the public but still suffered painful losses, and there are those who shared the news and went on to have healthy babies.
She noted that it is the choice of a family to determine if they want to go public or not. She added that what such notion does, is put the blame on families who have experienced painful losses.

A video trending online has showed the moment a 139-year-old Victorian house in San Francisco was lifted from its old address and moved to a new address.
It was gathered that On Sunday, February 21st, the historic building was loaded onto a truck and moved from 807 Franklin St. to 635 Fulton St, San Francisco.
Residents who were apparently in awe lined the streets to experience this unusual occurrence. Viral videos and photos showed the beautiful green house moving to its new location six blocks away, while hundreds of onlookers gathered to take photos and videos.
Phil Joy, a veteran house mover who oversaw the move, told the San Francisco Chronicle that moving the house, built in 1882, took several years to plan.
“We had to get 15 different city agencies to agree to this,” Joy said.
According to report by the publication, Tim Brown, a San Francisco broker who was the owner of the six-bedroom house, paid about $400,000 in moving costs and fees.
A 48-unit, eight story apartment complex will be built on the old site where the house used to sit, while the Englander house will be combined into a 17-unit building with an old mortuary next door at its new location.

A Nigerian lady, simply identified as Ebele, has advised parents to be watchful and mindful of their children as she recounted how she was introduced to sexual activities.
According to @ebeletheservant, she was introduced to lesbianism at the tender age of 7 or 8 and her struggle with masturbation and pornography also began at that age.
She attributed the exposure to her parent’s nonchalant attitude to the kind of play she was engaging in with kids in their compound as they were always unsupervised.

You need to hear some of the things these children say. You would be shocked at some of the things they know. The devil is really working overtime, and he’s very particular about children. If he can catch them young then he can control what kind of adults they become.
I want parents and guardians (teachers inclusive) to be very mindful of the children in their care. Be very watchful. Don’t just send them out to play because they’re making noise and you want to be alone. Go out often and observe. Ask them questions about their play.
Be interested in them. Don’t always say “I’m tired” whenever they invite you to join them to play. Join them sometimes. Find out what kind of languages they use when they play. Observe their body movements and how they interact with one another.

Nigerian musician and actor, Chibuzor Oji, better known as Faze is celebrating his late twin sister, Ify on her first posthumous birthday.
His late twin sister, Ifeyinwa Asia died on Sunday, February 21, two days to hers and Faze’s birthday.
The singer has taken to his Instagram to celebrate his recently deceased sister Today, February 23rd, as they mark another birthday.
He wrote,
