A Businessman identified as Ufuoma Tony has taken to his Twitter page to cry out after the dispatch rider he employed absconded with his bike.
Ufuoma Tony said the dispatch rider who gave his name as Joseph Emmanuel, began work on Tuesday, Feb 2, but hours later, he switched off his phone, disabled the tracker on the bike, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since then.
His tweet reads ;
Please help! My dispatch bike was stolen this evening by this rider I just hired this morning. He disabled the tracker at Oshodi and hasn’t been reachable since then.
The last known location of the bike is Ajenifuja street, Emma Investment Nig. Off Boladale street, Oshodi.

Nigerian music executive, Ubi Franklin, has displayed his emotional side as he breaks down in tears after being surprised on his 35th birthday.
The entrepreneur and TV show host turned 35 on Tuesday, February 2, and he took to social media to share classy photos of himself.

The actress in an interview Today’s Woman Magazine, disclosed that after several rumours about her husband she had to turn to God to let his will be done.

Music record label executive, Ubi Franklin’s marriage to Nigerian actress, Lilian Esoro has officially been dissolved.
The marriage between the actress and the TV show host, which held in 2015 was officially dissolved on Thursday January 28th, at an Abuja High Court.
The Duo who share a 4 year old son, Jason together got married in November 2015 and separated about a year after.
Lilian first filed for divorce in a Lagos High Court but it was denied, Ubi Franklin later filed in Abuja and the divorce has now been granted.
This is coming after Ubi Franklin was dragged into an exchange with a follower, who was praying for the restoration of his marriage to Lilian Esoro, who he shares a son with.

A Nigerian man identified as Emmanuel Onyekachi Amakor who hails from Ngor-Okpala in Imo state has died in a fatal car accident just 12 days to his wedding.
According to his friend, Prince Oscar Raymond, who made the announcement on Facebook, Onyekachi died in a car accident along Owerri-Aba Road on Monday, February 1.
He also disclosed that Onyekachi was getting ready to wed his fiancee, one miss Veronica Ocheze Nwanoruo, come Saturday, February 13th.

Popular Abuja-based disk jockey, DJ Tunice has died following a domestic accident in his home on Monday, February 1st.
According to close friends who took to social media to mourn his demise, Tunice was mopping the floor in his apartment when he slipped and hit his head on the floor.
It was alleged the deceased who was badly injured from the fall was rushed to different hospitals but was rejected until he died.

Popular Nigerian rapper, Vector has disclosed that he made reasonable sums of money from his beef with colleague, MI Abaga.
Vector revealed this in an interview with Sky News.
The beef between the duo was one which held the music industry and the rap genre spellbound as it put fans on the edge of their seats.

A Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, on Monday, February 1, awarded N5 million damages against the Nigeria Police Force and the Inspector General of Police over the assault of a woman, Tola Azeez, in Osun State.
Recall in April 2019, a video of the officers assaulting the young lady went viral. Tola was walking along Odo Ori Market in Iwo, to buy a drug for a relative when the officers who were enforcing the lockdown, descended on her, flogging her mercilessly with their whips.
The state police command identified and arrested the erring officers, Ikuesan Taiwo, an inspector and Abass Ibrahim, a corporal.
To protest the assault, a fundamental human right enforcement suit was filed by a lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, on behalf of Ms Azeez.
The presiding judge, Justice Ayo Emmanuel, resolved the matter in favour of the applicant. He held that the actions of the offending officers in the discharge of their official duties as agents of the police amounted to an infringement of the Fundamental Right to Dignity of Ms Azeez, a liability the Nigeria Police Force must shoulder.
He then awarded the sum of N5 million as aggravated and general damages against the police.
Tola also took to her Twitter handle to react to the judgement.

A man, identified as V.J Caliwihz, has called out Nigerian music producer, Obi Prosper, professionally known as Speroach Beatz, for alleged fraud.
Caliwhiz shared a lengthy post on Facebook detailing how he was defrauded by the producer.
According to him, Speroach was contracted to produce a song and they came to an agreement of N300,000 fee, which payment was made immediately. Unfortunately, the project could not go on as planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Caliwhiz revealed that months later Speroach called off the project and demanded an additional N300K, if he still wants it executed.
He stated that he didn’t want to lose out entirely on the deal, so he agreed to his request but demanded fairer payment conditions.
He requested that the celebrity producer commence the project with the initial payment and he would make the balance payment later, which the producer blatantly refused.
Caliwhiz took to social media to call him out because the celebrity producer has stopped picking his calls and responding to his messages ever since he demanded a refund.

I want the whole world to know that Davido’s Producer, SperoachBeatz has duped me of 300k and even demanding for more!
It happened on the 19th December 2019, a friend named Zealarous who’s an artist, a singer had worked with Speroachbeatz, through my younger brother who’s as well aspiring to be a singer, promised to get us connected to Speroachbeatz been that he has worked with him.
So on the 19th December 2019, he accompanied us to Speroachbeatz who lived in Davido’s house (former house before Davido moved to banana island). We all sat down and after much we agreed to his price of 300k which was instantly transferred to his account. Evidence of the transaction is available plus the whole people there can as well testify as I did had some proud moments of happiness and made a few pictures and video.
We couldn’t come to working as the covid-19 pandemic broke out, we kept in contact still awaiting when the pandemic will be over.
This same Speroachbeatz after few months in 2020 during the pandemic said the 300k deal is off and would request an additional 300k making it in total 600k if we still want to work.
After much, not to let the former money die off, I agreed to pay another 300k but requested we do it in a fair basis,that he has to start the work as we have already initially paid 300k,so that before he’s done we can balance the rest and get out work.
Speroachbeatz refused and demands that the additional 300k must be paid and confirmed before he gives us an appointment when he finds the time for it.
I further suggested he should give us a meeting location so my artist can come meet with him one on one and if confirmed that both the artist and Speroachbeatz are together, then I will go ahead and transfer him the additional 300k.
Cos I needed that assurance. Speroachbeatz declined and insisted nothing will be done until I pay him another 300k. And I was no that ain’t gonna work that way.
I disagreed and said that’s not a fair business terms. He dont pick my calls anymore nor respond to my messages nor anything because I request to have my money back,which is the initial 300k paid into his account since we couldn’t reach a fair business terms.
He referred me to talk to someone named Femi, which I did after many times of trying to reach the Femi. Finally got into a call with Femi and I narrated everything to him which he promised to talk to Speroachbeatz and get back to me, till now nothing from femi nor Speroachbeatz.
I went back to Zealarous who initially introduced me to Speroachbeatz and took us(me and my artist) there,I narrated everything to him, he told me he spoke with Speroachbeatz but he can’t do more.
I kinda imagine how many people this Speroachbeatz might have defrauded in through this way.
All I want is my money back. I paid, but he didn’t do my work. so I have the right to get my Money back.
It was later discovered that, that was how he takes advantage of upcoming artistes. He would collect money from them and never produced their music.

A Nigerian husband cut ties with his wife after her mother denied him access to their kids, because she said he didn’t greet her.
In the video which was filmed by the aggrieved husband, the husband is seen moving his belongings while telling his wife that it’s over between them, because her mother denied him access to their kids.
He lamented over how his mother in law denied him from seeing his children because she claimed he didn’t come into her house to greet her. He asked his wife how many times she has called his own mother.
In response the wife persuaded him against ending their relationship, as she told him they could settle it as friends.
However the man turned dead ears to his wife’s plea and insisted that he’s done with the marriage. He reminded her that she has called the cops on him before and taken him to court and he asked if friends do that to each other.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Morenike Alausah Sulaimon popularly known as Mama Ereko, is celebrating her 75th birthday today, February 2.
The thespian took to her Instagram page to share lovely photos of herself in Yoruba traditional outfits. She dazzled in iro and buba and complemented her attire with Aso-oke ‘gele’ and ‘ipele’.
She expressed gratitude to God for adding another year to her age as she clocks 75.
