Controversial Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu has taken to social media, via his verified Instagram page to hint about being gay.
The actor shared a photo of himself alongside another post, stating that he’s proud of his sexuality, while he urged his fans and followers to appreciate the choices of others.
In his words,

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, January 26th announced the replacement of Nigeria’s service chiefs.

Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has taken to social media to seek advise after a close associate announced her relationship with a gay man.

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Apapa Area Command, Lagos, has seized lion bones and pangolin scales worth N952 million.
According to the Customs Area Controller of the command, Comptroller Mohammed Abba-Kura, who disclosed this during a press briefing on Wednesday, Jan 27th, the items were billed for export to Vietnam when they were intercepted.
Abba-Kura revealed that the items, comprising 162 sacks of pangolin scales weighing 8,800kgs and 57 sacks of mixed endangered species of various sizes such as ivory/animal horns, lion bones and others were falsely declared as furniture components.
In his words,
“On January 21, based on credible intelligence, Customs operatives at the export seat of Apapa command, successfully detected and arrested one unit of 20-feet container which was processed for export and falsely declared as a furniture component.
“Immediately the container was opened, logs were seen in front, and upon 100 per cent physical examination of the container, elephant tusks, and the pangolin scales were seen concealed by the logs.
“The Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES 1973) entails that Customs Administration all over the world protect wildlife by intercepting illegal trade on such animals.
“Pangolins – scaly, shy and sensitive – are believed to be the world’s most trafficked nonhuman mammals accounting for as much as 20 per cent of all illegal wildlife trade.
“Their scales that are made of keratin (the material in fingernails) have no scientific proven curative properties but are in high demand for use in traditional Chinese medicine.” He added.
Speaking further, the comptroller revealed that an agent had been arrested and detained after an unnamed lady was picked by operatives. Adding that after due investigation, the customs service headquarters would take appropriate action against the suspects.
A Nigerian woman, identified as Sola Adio, has warmed the hearts of thousands of social media users after she returned the whooping sum of N38 million mistakenly credited into her account by a Chinese company.
According to the Facebook user who shared the story online, the woman had business dealings with the Chinese company but unfortunately, they didn’t have the product in stock, which was valued at N41,000.
The company, however, refused to refund the full amount and offered to pay N38,000 instead of N41,000. After several discussions, she decided to accept the amount they were offering.
Humorously, the Chinese company mistakenly transferred N38 million to her account. After discovering their error, they were afraid that Ms. Sola will not return the money.
Fortunately for the company, Ms. Sola who is an honest woman, returned the money but deducted the bank charges.
Thereafter, the Chinese company refunded the full amount of N41,000 for the product.
Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that Davido’s fiancée, Chioma Avril is pregnant with another baby for the singer.
In a now deleted tweet, the investigative journalist alleged that, Chioma who welcomed her son Ifeanyi a year ago is pregnant with another baby.

According to the father of three, bringing his relationship with Chioma to the limelight had an adverse effect on their affair, as everyone was in their business.

When asked if they would still get married, Davido affirmed that but said it’s not the right time.

In other news, a suspected Kidnaper, simply identified as Lisa was reportedly apprehended, and beaten up by angry mob in Nasarawa state.
According to a Facebook user, Ismail Samai, who shared the story on the platform, Lisa specializes in n kidnapping children and selling them to ritualists.
He further revealed that the suspected kidnapper was caught and arrested in Laminga Nasarawa local government area of Nasarawa state.
His post reads,

A 20-year-old lady, identified as Fatima Usman, has accused her biological father of having sexual relations with her.
The lady, who is resident in Owo, Ondo state, gave her father’s name as Usman Momoh Sani, a worker in a tertiary institution in the state.
In the viral video, Fatima alleged that her father has been having sexual intercourse with her for as long as she can remember, even while her mother is at home.
Fatima also appealed to the State and Federal government to help her get justice against her parents.
She said in part,
“Whenever I refused to have sex with my father he would send me out of the house in the midnight.
“My father has been sleeping with me for a very long, and whenever I refused he would send me out of the room.
“If I say I will voice out, he would be threatening to kill me. “He would bring out a knife and show me that if I tell anybody he would kill me.”

A man, identified as Taiwo Longe, has taken to the Twitter to share the emotional note he got from his daughter on her sixth birthday.
In the letter, which has garnered thousands of reactions on social media, the little girl reminded her father of his promise to gift her an educational tablet when she turns six.

A Nigerian man, identified as Prince Obieze Nestor has reportedly died while in Dubai police custody.

Debola Daniel, son of former Governor of Ogun state, Gbenga Daniel has shared his frustration with living with disability in Nigeria.
According to Debola, living with disability in Nigeria can be frustrating, as everyone believes they have the divine power to heal you.

A 50-year-old mother of four identified as Florence Owa, has reportedly committed suicide in Sapele, Delta State.
Owa who was said to have been battling depression, was found dead on Tuesday, January 26, at her home by one of her children. She allegedly died after consuming a substance believed to be Sniper, a deadly insecticide.
According to reporters, the deceased had been sick for some time and was recently discharged from the hospital. May her soul rest in peace.
Nigerian billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote has revealed how his American ex-girfriend, Autumn Spike tried to extort $5 million from him.
Recall that the lady had taken to social media to share a copy of the court document and dragged the billionaire for offering her a meagre amount of $15,000 as hush money.
The details of the document has been dissected to the public. According to reports, Dangote filed a civil law suit against Spikes known as @Allarounda1 on Instagram, at a Miami-Dade County Court in Florida, US.
Aliko Dangote, however used the pseudonym, John Doe, alias AD, standing as the ‘acronym’ for his name.
He seeks $30,000 in damages against Ms Spikes, who in the process of exposing their relationship, exposed his butt on social media.
One of the court documents filed by the plaintiff on January 22, is titled, ‘Complaint petition for declaratory judgment complaint for (about) extortion petition for injunctive relief’ according to Premium Times.
The document accused Spikes of libel, defamation, cyberstalking and a breach of agreement ”to keep their relationship private and off the social media”.
It also stated that Mr Dangote’s wealth made him a target for Ms. Spikes, who demanded “meritless claims of $5 million” in the nature of “palimony to which she is not legally entitled”.
The document also revealed that Ms Spikes had requested financial assistance from Dangote to startup her business and he obliged on the grounds that it would be private.
His court document read in part,
“Autumn Spikes demanded from the plaintiff assistance as an entrepreneur in a start-up business when there was no loan commitment, nor oral or written promise.
“The plaintiff once announced an oral willingness to provide entrepreneurial assistance to Autumn Spikes on the condition that it be confidential and private.”
However, he started seeing social media posts and planned media talk shows, which was intended to expose him and make his life miserable if he refuses to pay her the demanded sum of $5,000,000.
Mr Dangote said his “generosity toward Autumn Spikes, if any, has been breached by Autumn Spikes’ exposure and solicitations to media talk shows if he fails to pay her meritless demands.”
He maintained that he had the right to stop being generous to her and demand a refund of the funds he had given her to assist her business in the past.
Dangote also alleged that Ms. Spikes continued to threaten to subject him to false publicity if fails to comply to her demands.
The document further noted that the “Defendant has threatened communications on social media, Facebook, Instagram, and otherwise.
“John Doe has a right to terminate his generosity and to obtain from Autumn Spikes a refund of the monies he had given her to assist her in starting up a business.”
Dangote accused Ms Spike of cyberstalking and demanding for money. He also said that Spike have allegedly threatened to release private information if her demands are not accepted.
The document said Spikes’ demand is “embarrassing and upsetting” adding that she “demands support in lieu of marriage or alienation of affection when she is not entitled to the same”.
Dangote, prayers are ”a non-jury trial, damages, an award of refund of all of those monies she claims plaintiff paid her, court costs and such remedies as available under the law”.
He also wants the defendant to be restrained from demanding “payment in exchange for non-disclosure of their relationship”.
The lawyers said the plaintiff used pseudonyms like John Doe and AD to avoid unnecessary media attention and avert coercion to pay the demanded money by Ms Spikes.
Clergyman, Bishop Francis Wale Oke of Sword of the Spirit Ministries, has shared an unusual ‘testimony’ of how God killed a UNILAG lecturer for the sake of his daughter.
The clergyman gave the testimony during a sermon in church. According to him, the UNILAG lecturer failed his daughter in a course he was taking because she refused to sleep with him.
He said the distressed young lady reported the issue to him, which stirred up anger in him and he declared God’s judgement over the matter.
He further added that the lecturer died in a car accident along Lagos-Ibadan express road two weeks later.

One of my daughters was being harrassed in the University of Lagos. The lecturer was on her. He demanded to sleep with her before she would pass the course. A man old enough to be her father. Very wicked, evil man. The girl said I am a child of God. I am bornagain.

So she came to see me. I was very angry. How can one filthy old man, because he is a lecturer, want to sleep with my daughter? I will forget that I am annointed. I will cut off your head. Evil! Wickedness! She was talking to me and she was crying.
I stood on my feet and when I stand on my feet like that, be careful. I said Oh God, judge this matter! I had tears in my eyes. Two years of her precious years have been wasted.

A popular Anambra-based Prophet Onyebuchi Okocha, popularly known as Onyeze Jesus, has been arrested by operatives of the Anambra Police Command.

A young lady, identified as @_nomangesi on Twitter, has taken to the micro-blogging platform to celebrate her partner for gifting her a car.
According to the WhatsApp chat screenshot she shared, her partner pleaded with her to come home from work under the guise of an emergency.
He asked her to rush home quickly for just 10 minutes and also notify him when she was leaving the office.
@_nomangesi promised to go home during her lunch hour. However, 2hen she arrived home, her man surprised her with a brand new car and a bouquet of flowers.
The woman, who was overwhelmed with excitement, took to social media to celebrate her man for the present.
