Popular Nigerian socialite and former housemate of the Big Brother Naija house, Tacha has said there isn’t the need to add “BBNaija’s” when trying to identify her.
A publication was made in reference to her where the headline reads “BBNaija’s Tacha” — in reaction to the headline, the controversial socialite said there’s only one of her and as such, adding “BBNaija’s” is unnecessary.
She wrote,

Tacha recently advised ladies to be financially independent rather than depending on men to sponsor their lifestyle.
She gave this premium advise via her Instagram story. According to her, men are becoming more exposed and are no longer interested in dating ladies who can’t cater for their basic needs.
She stated that gone are the days when men shoulder the full responsibilities of their women as they are also looking for self-financed women.
The 25-year-old entrepreneur encouraged ladies to work hard and elevate their status from being broke-asses to financially stable in 2021.

Popular Nigerian Singer, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun has spoken about his love for family, especially his sons.
The award-winning singer was speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe and he pointed out that his family keeps him grounded and focused.

The Governor of Ogun state, Dr Dapo Abiodun has banned tankers from using overhead bridges in the state.
This is coming after the fatal fire incident caused by a fallen petrol-laden tanker that fell and exploded Tuesday, Jan 19, along Kuto – Okemosan road in Ogun state.
The state governor visited the scene of the accident. He also visited victims of the fire in the hospital.
Reacting to the unfortunate incident, the Governor wrote ;
“Towards avoiding a recurrence of today’s fatal tanker fire that occurred in Abeokuta, tanker drivers will henceforth no longer use overhead bridges across Ogun State, with stringent penalties to be put in place by the State Ministry of Transportation.
“When I assessed the accident scene, I was made to understand the fire was caused by a brake failure and resultant collisions, which could have escalated but for the quick intervention of responders.
“We have invited burn specialists from Lagos to treat victims with severe burns, and all victims whom I visited at the State Hospital, Ijaye and the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, will be taken off by the State Government.
“My heart is with the families of the six casualties, as Ogun State grapples with this tragic event.”
A woman was attacked while jogging early on Monday morning, Jan 18.
As a result of the unexpected incident, People have been advised to be careful when jogging in the early hours on the said bridge.
The woman who was identified as Sike was left with a bruised face, broken finger and her sister said she was mugged and rough-handled.

A jealous wife, identified as Suwaiba Shuaibu has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing to death, her husband’s second wife to be, days before their wedding.
It was gathered that the wedding between Suwaiba’s husband and his 17-year-old wife to be was scheduled to hold January 9th, in Kano.
However, the young girl, Aisha Kabir, was reported missing from her home on Friday, January 1st and later found dead in an uncompleted building in her community with stab wounds.
According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, Abdullahi Haruna, the suspect freely confessed she had called the victim on phone, deceived and lured her to an uncompleted building in their neighborhood where she used a sharp knife to stab her on her neck.
Meanwhile, the father of the deceased, Kabiru Jafaru, of Gimawa Village, Doguwa Local government area reported that the body of his 17-year old daughter who got missing was found in an uncompleted building in their neighborhood with a stab on her neck.
The police spokesperson said acting on the complaint, the scene was visited and the body was evacuated to Tudun Wada General Hospital for examination by a Medical Doctor.
Haruna disclosed that the Commissioner of Police Kano State command, then raised and instructed a Team of Detectives, led by Divisional Police Officer Doguwa, CSP Bala Shuaibu, to arrest the culprit(s).
According to him, the team immediately swung into action and apprehended 20-year-old Suwaiba Shuaibu, who lives in the same address with the deceased and is the second wife to one Shahrehu Alhaji Ali, also of the same address.
The statement reads,
“Investigations revealed the Deceased and the Husband of the suspect have been in proposed relationship for over six years and their Wedding Ceremony was scheduled to hold on 9th January, 2021.
During interrogation, the suspect freely confessed she had called the victim on phone, deceived and lured her to an uncompleted building in their neighborhood where she used a sharp knife to stab her on her neck, chest and other parts of her body. She disclosed she killed the victim out of jealousy, because her husband proposed to marry her”.
Haruna said the case has been transferred to the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Homicide Section, for discrete investigation. He said the suspect will be charged to court at the completion of the investigation.
A section of the Sokoto Central Market in Sokoto State was gutted by fire in the early hours of Tuesday, January 19.
According to reports, the fire allegedly caused by an electricity generating set started around 5am in the morning.
It was further gathered that men of the state fire service worked tirelessly to extinguish the fire which had already destroyed many shops.
An official of the state fire service said shop owners also joined in putting out the fire as they counted their losses.

We reported earlier of how a petrol laden tanker reportedly fell and burst into flames around IBB Boulevard, opposite GTBank Kuto, Abeokuta on Tuesday, 19th January as well.
As at the time of filing the report, the fire service in the state and other officials had arrived at the scene to put out the fire and attend to the incident.

The lady and her boyfriend laid in bed while she made a short video of her beautiful self and decided to show her boyfriend in the video.
The young man who initially didn’t know that his girlfriend was trying to capture his face in her video, was stunned immediately he noticed.
He screamed and quickly put off the light in the room and everywhere became dark.

A young Nigerian lady, Winifred Ugochinyere Hyacinth, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, bagged several awards at the the induction ceremony of medical graduates into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
Hyacinth who emerged as the overall best graduating student won 12 out of the 14 awards including the award for best student in 2nd, 3rd,4th and 5th MBBS.

John Akinwale, a student of the University of Lagos, (UNILAG) was allegedly tortured to coma by a police officer in the Oshodi area of Lagos state.
According to SaharaReporters, Akinwale was arrested by police officers attached to the Mosafejo division on Monday, Jan 18th for having a covered plate number.
It was alleged that the police man extorted N5,000 from him before dragging him to a police station.
Eye Witnesses told the publication that after the alleged extortion the policemen took Akinwale to a police station where he was allegedly beaten to coma for being rude.
It was gathered that the victim was later rushed to the hospital when he lost consciousness.
The source said,
“John came out from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority office and drove into a filling station. The policemen rushed at him just as he was about to leave the station.
“They collected N5000 from him and they dragged him to a police station. He collapsed in police custody after being beaten up by the officer. He was arrested for covering his number plate. He was held for hours for being rude to the Divisional Police Officer of the Mosafejo division in Oshodi.
“It was when he became unconscious that he was rushed to a hospital. It is now that he is regaining consciousness that he confirmed that he was hit by objects by the policemen.”
Another source said,
“I saw him use medication for Typhoid earlier that morning. We first thought it was the medication that reacted in his body. But the doctor at the hospital confirmed that it was not the drugs but that he was hit with an object.
“When he regained consciousness, he stated the same thing that the policemen beat him up.”
A Nigerian couple has won the hearts of social media users after they narrated the incident that occurred the night before their wedding ceremony.
According to the groom, Oladini, the event center they had booked was shut down by the Lagos State Government a night before the ceremony, possibly due to the second wave of COVID-19.

The man identified as Nwanta Anayoeze, advised men to ensure that they make their wife proud by giving her N100,000 for the preparation of soup in the presence of her friends.

The award-winning actress shared the video clips via her verified Instagram story. In the video, the roadside beggar was standing outside her car seemingly begging for money and the actress was filmed teasing the beggar with kisses.
The 38-year-old mother of one could be seen with her lips puckered in an attempt to kiss him through the wind-up side window.
After “playing” with the young beggar, she asked the person on the passenger seat for money and eventually gave the beggar money before he left.

A Nigerian woman disrupted her husband’s secret wedding to his side chick in Umuahia, Abia state last weekend.
In a video shared by SaharaTV, the devastated woman said she and her husband have been married for 17 years and blessed with four children.
According to her, she knew about her husband’s relationship with the lady for years but refused to say anything about it until he decided to tie the knot with her.
The woman who claimed to have suffered with her husband in their 17 years marriage, stormed the wedding venue and disrupted the wedding proceedings, stating that her husband’s other woman cannot come and reap where she didn’t sow.

In the post, controversial Instagram blogger, Gist Lover Blog alleged that the actress is having an affair with Oshiomole.
