The reality show star was replaced with Ebizi Blessing Eradiri, a First Class graduate of Law at the Niger Delta University (NDU), a feat she repeated at the Nigerian Law School.
Although the Governor did not disclose the reason for the change, there are speculations that it is connected to the heavy criticism he received for appointing a former BBNaija housemate for the position.
Many Nigerians had called for Eradiri, who has not only made Bayelsans proud nationwide, but the entire Izon nation with her excellent performance at the Niger Delta University and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus.
Some also argued that Eradiri has distinguished herself and should be the ‘Role Model’ to Bayelsa Youths.
Governor Diri on Monday January 11, made the official announcement that Ebizi Blessing Eradiri is the New Face of Bayelsa. The scholar was also given automatic employment of lecturing at NDU’s Faculty of Law.
Diri stated that the gesture was aimed at making her a role model for young girls in the state and the entire Ijaw nation to emulate.
He also dismissed speculations by social media users about his choice of Nengi for the role, while refusing to recognize Eradiri, as false.

The Twitter user @ObongRoviel claimed that Yonda wrote ‘Dangote’ while Peruzzi wrote ‘Pull up’. This tracks became an instant hit after they were released.
Roviel insinuated that Burna Boy is a fraud because he refused to give credit to the song writers.

Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, has shared her opinion about saggy bosoms.

The 28-year-old enterpreneur gave this advise, in reaction to a Twitter user who narrated how his relative’s mother-in-law hated her so much to the extent that she refused to carry her child.

Popular Activist,Aisha Yesufu took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to lambaste youths from Northern Nigeria alias Arewa Youths for dragging her on the platform.
Arewa Youths dragged her on Twitter on Monday, January 11 over her comments in support of gay rights in Nigeria. They were enraged and accused her of going against the tenets of Islam.

A 18 year old lady reportedly lost her life during a sex romp in the Yobe state government lodge in Damaturu, on January 6th.
The man who was in the room with the deceased lady, Dr Albash who claimed to be an employee of the Ministry of Police Affairs has been arrested over the death of the 18-year-old girl, who reportedly died while they were having sex in the lodge.
The spokesman for the state police command, Abdulkareem Dungus, while confirming the sad incident stated that the suspect reported that the girl was brought to him by his friends on the night of January 6th, 2021 around 8pm in the Government Lodge in Damaturu.
He said,
“There is a case of suspected homicide against one Dr Albash, which was reported at our ‘B’ Division here in Damaturu. In fact, the suspect reported himself at the police station.
The suspect reported that the lady was brought by his friends to spend the night with him. He said shortly after rounds of sex, the lady collapsed and died right in the hotel room.
The chief suspect says he is a staff member of the Ministry of Police Affairs though we have yet to confirm that. Presently he and four other suspects are in detention at the state CID.”

A notorious kidnapper who operates in Abuja was kidnapped by another kidnapper and had to pay ransom to be released.
Mohammed Amodu was abducted by another kidnapper named Buba Babu and had to pay N1,555,000 for his freedom.
Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, disclosed this while parading both kidnappers alongside other criminals in Abuja Monday, Jan 11.
He said Babu, notorious for kidnapping citizens on Abuja highways, was third in command of a kidnap syndicate headed by one Buji, who was neutralized by the police alongside the second in command.
Mba said Babu took leadership of the gang and was notorious for always killing kidnap victims.

The family of the late Nollywood actress, Mrs Folakemi Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi, has debunked the reports linking her death and that the death of her siblings to COVID19 complications.

A Nigerian lady, Temitope Olagbegi took to her Instagram page recently to narrate her experience with immigration officials who were allegedly processing passports without wearing face masks and gloves.

Chukwutem Victor Inalu, the Nigerian man who was called out by his wife for allegedly sexually molesting their 9 months old son has finally spoken up.
Victor’s wife, Onyinye Onome, took to Facebook to accuse her husband of sexually molesting their son, noting that she didn’t date her husband for long before they got married in December 2019.
According to her, she has been suspecting that her husband is into men and consulted his family members, but they didn’t do anything about it.
She claimed she once walked into the sitting room and saw her husband and son lying naked with her son touching her husband’s penis and when she confronted him about it, he laughed it off.
In response, Victor has now alleged that his wife made such grievous allegations against him because he asked that a DNA test be conducted on the boy.
He also shared screenshots of his wife begging to make their marriage work after he walked out of it, over her abusive behaviour.

My attention has been drawn to a post/ publication made by my wife, wherein she made some several serious allegations, which are defaming in nature. These allegations touches on my character.

A Cameroonian nursing student identified as Petra Nji, passed away after she was involved in a car accident five days to her wedding.
According to reports surrounding her demise, Petra and her husband-to-be, Isbias Forsack were returning from Douala after their pre-wedding shopping when they got involved in a motor accident along Tiko-Douala road on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Isbias and other passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to a medical facility but unfortunately, Petra didn’t make it.
Their church wedding was scheduled to take place on Saturday the 16th of January at Presbyterian Church Molyko, Buea while the traditional wedding was slated for Friday, January 15.
