Comedian Mr Macaroni Shares His BBNaija Audition Experience

Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Mr Macaroni has revealed he once tried auditioning for the BBNaija reality show, and has taken to social media to share his experience.

According to comic act, he went for the Big Brother Naija audition on February 1st, 2019, as he believed the reality show would bring him to limelight and help his career.

Recounting his audition experience in a lengthy Facebook post titled, “this is my story”, Marcaroni revealed he got to the audition center as early as 4:01am but still met over 800 people already at the venue.

After much waiting, the entrance gate finally opened and everybody rushed, including himself to gain entrance into the hall.

The struggle for the golden opportunity of auditioning was much, and was indeed the survival of the fittest.

However, after a lot of struggle, the comic actor didn’t get auditioned and was left with no choice than to quit his BBNaija dream.

Bringing back the memories, he took to his Twitter page to share his story with his fans and followers.

He tweeted,

The birthday photos of a 113-year-old Nigerian man has stirred reactions on social media.

The man’s grandson identified as Chisom Lucky on Twitter, took to the platform to celebrate his grandfather as he turned 113.

According to Chisom his old man turned 113 years on January 3rd, 2021 and there was a little celebration organized for him by persons believed to be his family members.

However, while netizens flooded his comment section to celebrate the old man and wish him well, many expressed their doubts about the man’s age as they claim he looks younger than his age.

A Twitter user @honour_godwin wrote, “How is the teeth still complete?”

@Megakliq14 wrote,

“If he is your grand father at 113, that means your mom is around 70 – 90 years… Then you as a 20 year old son must have been born when your mum was btwn 50 – 70… You sure say na grandpa or na great-great grandpa… Oya explain”.

Billionaire daughter, Singer and Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy might be having a hard time making real friends in the Nigerian music industry.

The aforementioned assumption was made because the Disc Jockey recently took to her page on micro-blogging website, Twitter, to call out Zlatan Ibile for blocking her on Whatsapp and Instagram.

Shorty afterwards, the Dubai police released a videodetailing how the arrest of the Nigerian Dubai-based big boy was effected.

The video confirmed the arrest of the socialite following an extensive operation named “Fox Hunt 2”, which revealed a hidden online fraud network that was committing crimes outside the UAE, including money-laundering, cyber fraud, hacking, criminal impersonation, banking fraud and identity theft.

In response, Peruzzi blasted the troll for making such derogatory statement.

A 30-year-old ritual killer suspect, Tajudeen Monsuru has revealed how he killed his girlfriend and sold her head to an alfa.

According to him, he sold the head of his girlfriend for N20,000.

He said that the money he got from selling his girlfriend’s head was spent on drinks with friends.

He also disclosed that apart from killing his girlfriend, he murdered another victim and also sold the person’s head to the alfa.

The man said he killed his girlfriend after he dated her for 4 months. He invited her over for the night and she came to spend the night with him, during the night he seized her breath till she died and then sold her head.

Explaining how he was caught, the suspect said the police arrested him when he decided to sell her phone.

He sold her phone to a man in his area. After some time, her phone was traced by the police and the man was arrested.

He brought the police to his house as the person who sold the phone to him then he was captured and queried, before he confessed to the crime.

Agu Charles, a councilor representing Umuaku ward (2) in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, has died in a road accident two weeks after he was elected.

Charles who was elected as a councilor on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), lost his life in a motor accident on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021.

It was gathered that the deceased was sworn-in by Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, on December 22nd together with other elected officials.

The Chairman of Umunneochi LGA, Ifeanyi Madu, who confirmed the incident on Monday, January 4, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late councilor.

Madu sympathized with the family and prayed that God should console and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

In related news a Young man tragically lost his life in a mysterious way, just a day after he secured a new job.

The man identified as Abodam, reportedly complained of headache and sadly passed away some hours later.

A close friend of the deceased took to Twitter to share,

“My guy has been stressing for a job for the past 3 years after Uni, only to get a job and die the next day.

“Hmmm RIP Abodam.

Fire guts petrol tanker on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway (Video)

A tanker carrying petroleum products has exploded on the popular Oshodi-Apapa expressway, Lagos state.

Firefighters are already at the scene to control the inferno while residents have been advised to take alternative routes.

The explosion occurred on both lanes around Toyota bus-stop inwards mile 2, along Oshodi/Apapa expressway in Lagos state.

According to reports, emergency response teams are already on ground to control the inferno.

The Nation also reports that no casualty has been recorded yet as a result of the incident.

The incident is said to have caused huge traffic along the axis as many motorists have been caught-up close to the accident scene.

Some residents say the incident happened close to a fire station hence the quick response from firefighters.

Former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Nsikak Eduok is reportedly dead at the age of 73.

In a statement released on Thursday January 7th, the secretary to Akwa Ibom State Government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem confirmed that the retired Chief of Air Staff died after battling an end-stage kidney failure.

Ekuwem described the deceased as an elder statesman who would be missed because of his contribution to the development of the state and the nation at large.

The statement reads,

“The information from his doctors indicate that he died of end-stage kidney failure.

“The late elder statesman was a very respected Nigerian and Akwa Ibomite who contributed greatly to the development of our country and state.

“His Excellency the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, is greatly grieved by the news of his death and extends his condolences to the bereaved family.

A heartbroken Nigerian dad has challenged his daughter, Ada, after she lied that he was dead on social media to win giveaway.

A Twitter influencer had announced a giveaway on his page and told his fans to state what they needed the money for to enable him pick a winner.

In a bid to win the giveaway the young lady claimed that she’s orphan whose father died three years ago, and have been striving to survive.

Alas, her father while surfing the internet stumbled upon the tweet where the daughter claimed he was dead.

The aggrieved father challenged his daughter and shared screenshot of her tweet claiming to be an orphan.

Former presidential aide, lawyer and author, Reno Omokri has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Don Davis’ alleged ordeal in a Deeper Life School in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, in the defense of Pastor Williams Kumuyi.

Reno Omokri defends

Omokri, in a post shared via his verified Instagram page, stated that anyone who believes Deborah Okezie’s tales about her son’s alleged molestation and sexual abuse in the school, should stop following him.

According to him, such people following him is an insult to his personality and he doesn’t need such following or reading his contents.

Omokri also showered encomium on the general overseer of Deeper Christian Life Church, Pastor Kumuyi, describing him as a man of virtue and good works.

He wrote,

* Deeper Life and Kumuyi shut down her Facebook page
* Deeper Life and Kumuyi went to her child’s kindergarten school to ask for her address
* Deeper Life and Kumuyi sneaked in a masked doctor to inject her child stupefying substances
* Deeper Life and Kumuyi are trying to kill her

Erica is my ex-girlfriend, but I still love her – Man says, she replies

Disqualified Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ housemate, Erica Nlewedim has replied a man who claimed to have dated her.

The man with username @flyderapper1 on IG, said that the reality TV star and actress was his former girlfriend, also revealed that he is still in love with her.

He made the confession after Erica shared new photos of herself on her official Instagram page.

Taking to the comment section, @flyderapper wrote;

“Erica my EX I still love you”

The reality TV star, however, said that she does not know him.

”I have no idea who you are”, she replied.
