Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke otherwise known as Davido has penned down an important message on how to acquire wealth for his fans and followers.

According to the father of three, for one to stay rich, it’s important to empower one’s circle, noting that your network determines your net worth.

The DMW boss who took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter likened riches to a simple arithmetic, and all that is needed to achieve that, is to empower ones circle.

In his words,

However, the popular music executive, has slammed a follower who advised him to give back to the people that made him rich.

Former aide, Reno Omokri has taken to Instagram to throw jabs at women who bleached their skin and surgically enhanced their bodies.

Using former Miss World, Agbani Darego-Danjuma as an example, the former presidential aide averred that women do not have to bleach or undergo surgical enhancement to be pretty.

According to him, Agbani did not bleach her skin or undergo surgical procedure and she still ended up getting married, having a child, and is a ”source of joy to herself and her race.”

His post reads:

In a tweet shared today November 26, the publisher stated that she has had a miscarriage and a near miscarriage and that the experience is bloody nasty.

Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has announced the name of his newborn baby and heir to the throne.

The monarch who took to his official Twitter page revealed that the prince was named 8th days after his birth, and in accordance with tradition.

According to Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the new born was named, “Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II.”

His tweet reads,

“In accordance with the traditional rites lasting for 21 days with today marking the 8th day, and in keeping to my promise of naming our first prince after my predecessor the 49th Ooni of Ife in the 3rd dynasty of Ife.

“Our prince is hereby named “Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II. Pray to God to guide and keep him in fulfillment of his destiny.”

The king welcomed his first son and heir to the royal throne with his wife, Olori Silekunola on November 18th, 2020.

Nollywood actress, Grace Ifemeludike has tagged Nigerians, specifically Igbos who can’t write or speak their local dialects as failures.

The actress took to Instagram to highlight the need for the Nigerian cultural heritage to be preserved and protected at all cost.

Felix Chukwuneke, the father of late 17-year old Chisom, who made straights A’s in the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) before her death, has penned down touching tribute in her memory.

According to the heartbroken father, the illness which took his daughter’s life started off as just a leg pain that “snowballed to a devastating episode”.

Felix who is a Professor and Consultant Surgeon at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Nsukka, in his tribute stated that Chisom died a day to his birthday and 10 days after she had promised him a special gift.

His touching tribute which he shared on his Facebook page reads,

“Just like a dream. But the realities are crystal now; just a pain in the leg that snowballed to a devastating episode. The battle started earnestly. I hear you call daddy my leg is paining me. I watch as you lie abed with pain. As restless and worried as I can be, I promised to do everything humanly possible.

A Twitter user with handle @thepoeticson has recounted how he prophesied about marrying his wife when he was just 3-years old.

The man, who identifies as a ‘Prophet’, said his wives’ mum had paid his family a visit when she was pregnant with his wife.

According to him, he was just 3 years old at the time and he reached out, touched her baby bump and prophesied that the baby would be a girl and she would be his wife.

The couple are happily married now and the man shared their childhood photo together, and another photo taken on their wedding day.

@Heeldarh’s parents and mine had been friends since before either of us were born and they are till now. So when her mum was pregnant for her, she came to my house one day ( I was three years old at that time).

I was told that I reached out, touched her belly and told her that she was going to give birth to a girl and that the girl will be my wife. Why I say I was told is because I can’t say that I vividly remember that day even though I now have flashes of it. I only grew up hearing the stories and on her first birthday, we were made to take this picture.

Growing up, we never attended the same schools from primary school till university but we saw each other in church from time to time. She struck me as a very pretty girl and because she was tall she was my spec but I never had the liver to talk to her. I remember one time when she was standing beside her mum’s car after church (she remembers that day because she said she wanted to talk to me too). I wanted to approach her but my confidence made me take a detour.

Anyway, fast forward to 2016. She reached out to me on Facebook on her way back to school. She said hi, and we began to talk. In order to break the ice, I brought up the conversation about the prophecy and I asked her if she knew I prophesied her birth.

She said her mum had told her and we hit it off from there. From friends, to lovers, to engaged. When we went to pay her dowry, my mum told the story in front of many witnesses who concurred with Hilda’s mum being the chief witness. That was a life changing moment for me.

It shaped my faith and my reality about God and Jesus Christ. With childlike faith I accepted the prophecy and made it my own just like how I believed the Jesus I was told about as a kid with this same faith. It was then that it dawned on me that I had never seen Jesus before I believed in him. I had only heard from witnesses about who He is, what He did, and the things He promised. The relationship I have with Hilda is a representation of the relationship God desires to have with all humanity.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to lament, that men especially those from Enugu and Anambra no longer marry from Imo state.

According to the Imo state born lady identified as Esther Sky, men are now running away from ladies from her state and pleads that something should be done to salvage the situation before it gets out of hand.

She further revealed that guys from Anambra state prefers dating Imo ladies as girlfriends, but go back to their villages to marry under the guise of “my mother found a wife for me”.

Esther who is apparently frustrated by the situation of things, pleaded with Nigerians to help her beg men especially Enugu and Anambra men to start taking wives from Imo state.

She noted that asides from Anambra and Enugu men, generally Nigerian men from all tribes are now avoiding marrying women from her state.

Day-old baby found dead at refuse dump in Port Harcourt (Graphic Photos)

A day-old baby boy was found dead at a refuse dump in Port Harcourt, Rivers State last night, November 25th.

The lifeless body was discovered at the refuse site along Ikwerre road, Mile 2 Diobu area of the city around 9.30pm on Wednesday night, November 25th.

According to an advocacy group, Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign, who shared the heartbreaking story on Facebook, the baby who was dumped at the refuse ground by an unknown mother was dead before they got there to rescue him.

The post reads,

“We Condemn the evil act by unknown mother of a day old baby boy who dumped him at a waste bin in Ikwerre road opposite Egede street Mile 2 diobu, PortHarcourt, Rivers,Nigeria which eventually led to the death of the baby.,” the group said in a statement on Thursday morning.

“Unfortunately the baby died before our arrival at about 9:30pm Wednesday night. The action by the unknown mother is in clear violation of the right to life of the infant child.”

Woman releases photos claiming she saw a man’s soul leave his body as he drowned in a river while trying to rescue dog

A Philippines woman identified as Shanel Guiterrez, has recounted the terrifying moment she claims she saw the soul of a man leave his body as he drowned in a river.

According to Guiterrez, she saw the man’s spirit emerge and walk over the water in the Philippines on Saturday, November 21st.

The deceased man who Guiterrez claimed she saw his soul leave his body has been identified as Dondon, and he reportedly drowned at the quarry site while trying to save a stray dog.

It was gathered that he was able to push the animal to safety but continued to slip into the deeper part of the water while doing so and drowned before he could make his way out of the river.

His colleague raised the alarm when he noticed he had been gone for a while, a rescue team was called to save him and onlooker claimed the white spirit emerged from the water.

The Philippine woman has now released footage of the Dondon’s spirit, which filmed on her phone at the Davao del Norte province, and insisted that she didn’t edit the video.

In her words,

“It was very creepy because I did not expect to capture that thing on my phone. I know it was his ghost. It gave me goosebumps when I watched it.

“It has upset the family of the man. They are so upset. I recorded the people trying to save him and I didn’t expect to see that.

“When I played it back, I caught something like a spirit walking on the water. It had the shape of a man.” She added.

Back in elementary school in Canada, I remember being made fun of about my tribal marks and being asked if I got scratched by lions in Africa 🤣🤣. The teasing got so bad that I tried surgically to remove my tribal marks…..(Ouch 🤕).

I felt it made me so ugly and weird from everyone else around me because I didn’t understand why I had it in the first place! Now that I’m all grown and wise, I’ve come to realize how beautiful & unique it sure makes me look. True beauty does not come from physical attributes…true beauty comes from what is within.

Tonto Dikeh’s ex-boyfriend, Malivelihood is reportedly set to wed his long-time girlfriend and daughter of the Senator Of Kogi West, Deola.

Recall that the popular jeweler proposed to his girlfriend, Deola Smart on her 25th birthday in 2017. The proposal took place at the Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom.

He took to his Instagram page to share a picture of himself alongside his fiancee and wrote; “She said YES… Happy Birthday To My Fiancée @deolasmart #HeathrowAirportProposal”.

The wedding is now set to take place on Saturday, December 5th in an undisclosed location.

Tonto Dikeh’s relationship with the luxury businessman hit the rocks in 2015 and it was said that he dumped her for the Senator’s daughter.

Duncan Mighty accused of assaulting a tanker driver in Port Harcourt

Popular Nigerian singer, Duncan Mighty has been called out for allegedly assaulting a tanker driver in Port Harcourt.

According to a Facebook user, Ndubueze Obodowhuo who made the allegations on the platform , the singer struck the driver’s head with a traditional staff(Elephant tusk).

His post reads,

“Mr. OKABAM JOHN, a Water-tank driver with Julius Berger, Tanker number – B8751, On Saturday 21st of November 2020 at about 9:40 am while he was on duty. A private car was parked close to his water filling spot, he tried notifying the driver who refused to wine down, he bent his head to talk with the driver surprisingly, it was Duncan mighty,” he wrote.

“Before he could explain, his head was struck by Duncan mighty using a traditional staff(Elephant tusk), the second strike was blocked with his hand. He(Okabam John) didn’t see how the artist drove off because blood covered his eyes at that moment. Mr. Okabam John narrated this incident after being discharged from the hospital.”

“Duncan doesn’t show up when he’s publicly needed, rather he uses his VIP influence to undo his people. Celebrities should be celebrated by their positivity, their influence shouldn’t pose danger to the society rather it should serve as liberation to the people,”

Nigerian Army officials allegedly assault lady because she refused to greet them (Video)

Some alleged officers of the Nigerian army reportedly assaulted a Nigerian lady, Olaide Oluwo in the Sangotedo area of Lagos for not greeting them.

Laide who took to Twitter to recount the ill treatment she suffered from the military personnel, stated that she was assaulted because she did not greet the officers.

According to her, she walked past them around 5pm and didn’t notice that were they were there until one of them flogged her, ran after and beat her mercilessly.

She alleged that when onlookers confronted the officers, they revealed that they flogged her because she failed to show courtesy by greeting them.

Her tweet reads,

“This happened to me around 5pm. I did nothing to these people ..I didn’t even look at them until one of them flogged me ! I was walking and this guy insulted me ran after me and then flogged me with koboko! When people confronted them they said it’s cuz I didn’t greet them”.

However, a video shared online showed the moment Olaide confronted the officers after they allegedly assaulted her.

A lady has taken to social media to share her surprise and excitement with her followers after a man refunded money she mistakenly sent to his bank account.

According to her, when she contacted the person to inform him of her mistake, he begged her to be patient with him.

Rolivhuwa said the man told her that he needed to use the money urgently but promised to send it back on Wednesday, November 25.

The man fulfilled his promise and sent back the money. As soon as she received her money, the excited young lady took to social media to share the news with her followers.

Rolivhuwa’s story has gone viral as her tweet gathered over 40,000 likes and 3,000 reposts.

She tweeted, “Sent money to a wrong account a week ago, I contacted that person and he said he really need to use that money and he would send it back on the 25th. Guys, he just sent the full amount back now.”

The student union body of Offa State Polytechnic, Kwara state allegedly gave meritorious awards to cultist groups in the school.

A man identified as Ifemosu Michael shared photos of the plaques on micro-blogging platform, Twitter and expressed disbelief at the student union government.

Names of prominent cult groups were boldly written on the award plaques.

Sharing the photos, he wrote,

Adamma, a Nigerian lady has emerged the best graduating student of a Malaysian university, after writing her master’s thesis on popular Nigerian politician, Dino Melaye.

Adanma reportedly based her Masters’ thesis on the religious tweets of former senator representing Kogi West district, Dino Melaye.

Dino who was delighted by the lady’s achievement took to his Twitter page to share the news on Tuesday, November 23rd.
