Popular Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye has taken to Twitter to give financial advice to his fans and followers.
The 38-year-old actor advised his fans against spending money frivolously in a bid to look expensive and impress strangers on social media.
According to him, if you can’t afford to buy a luxury item twice without feeling the brunt in your pocket, that means it is not within your financial capacity.
Mike made this statement to advocate against living fake life.

Billionaire daughter and fashion blogger, Temi Otedola has shared her experience while on set of the recently released movie, “citation”.
Temi who made her acting debut by playing the lead character in Kunle Afolayan’s Citation, revealed that kissing on screen felt weird.
In an interview with The Punch, Temi stated that she was able to pull through because she realized there is a difference between real life and work.
In her words,
“He knows that for me it is work at the end of the day and I would not have been able to take this role if I did not have that relationship with Koyejo (Gabriel Afolayan). He has always been supportive and I am really thankful for that.
“Honestly it was weird of course, on set, but everyone was made to feel comfortable and you just have to see it as work. There is real life and there is work. We tried to do those types of scenes especially the assault scenes as few times as possible because they could be emotionally draining.”
Nigerian youths have taken to social media to threaten a second wave of #EndSARS protests from Monday November 9, following report of passport seizure and frozen accounts.
A court order granting the Central Bank of Nigeria the right to freeze bank accounts of some frontline protesters and a public affairs company, has sparked outrage on social media and some youths have threatened a fresh protest in some parts of Lagos and Abuja.
The court ordered the head offices of Access Bank, Fidelity Bank, First Bank Nigeria, GTB, UBA, Zenith Bank to freeze the bank accounts of the individuals on the list for a period of 180 days, pending the outcome of the CBN’s investigation and inquiry.
Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Apex bank, came under fire by Netizens as he was accused of hypocrisy and double-standard judgement. Aggrieved youths have promised to resume the protest on Monday at the CBN headquarters in Abuja and its Lagos office.

A Nigerian student who seems less bothered about the ongoing ASUU strike, has decided to get himself busy and make money.
The young man took to social media to happily show off his recently launched business following months of staying at home due to the industrial action embarked on by Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
ASUU has been on strike since March 2020, following its demand for the federal government to effect the agreement both parties reached in 2009, with regards to remuneration and other benefits.

Nigerian Author and social media commentator, Reno Omokri, has stated that bride price should only be paid for virgins.
The controversial critic and author who made the statement via Twitter, said the Bible contains scriptural evidence to back up his assertion.
Quoting a verse in Exodus, Omokri said biblically bride price should only be paid for women who are to be married as virgins.

A magistrate court sitting in Abuja reportedly ordered the remand of five persons who were participants of the #ENDSARS protest in front of the National Assembly in Abuja on Friday, November 6, at a correctional center.
It should be recalled that on Friday, publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore shared videos online claiming that he and some protesters who stormed the National Assembly to paint #EndSARS graffiti on the road leading to the Assembly were attacked by policemen and five of them were arrested.
In an update shared on his Facebook page, Sowore stated that the arrested protesters were arraigned before a Magistrate court and the court denied them bail and ordered they be remanded in prison custody.
“After our #EndSARS Graffiti action at the National Assembly today, we headed to the Magistrates in Wuse area of Abuja where some of our colleagues were arraigned after unlawful arrests were carried out by the Nigerian police.
The court activities were scripted, it was unbelievable! The Magistrate denied our comrades bail using the case of Asari Dokubo as a justification. We were all shocked but not surprised. They were eventually led away to prison! Just another sad day and the reason we must keep fighting to liberate ourselves. #RevolutionNow” he wrote

Officers of the Lagos State police command rescued a woman and her children after they found them stranded in the middle of the night.
According to the Lagos State Police Command, the lady was seen around Funso Williams Avenue at about 1:15 am on Friday, November 6.
Her battery was flat so the officers helped jump-start the vehicle and followed her to be sure she was OK. Along the way, the petrol in her car finished and the officers said they assisted her with petrol before escorting her to a safe spot.

An unidentified woman got the shock of her life after taking the drugs her husband has been taken daily to a clinic to show a doctor only to be told they are HIV drugs.
According to the woman, the husband said he has ulcer and has been taking the said medications daily. Being curious after she started losing weight, she took the drugs to meet a doctor to find out what they are for and to her greatest surprise, she was told the drugs are for HIV and her husband kept it away from her.
The medic took to his Twitter page to share the story of the woman which has generated a lot of reactions.
Some Twitter users opined that the husband has the right not to inform her about his HIV status and they advised the medic to just get the woman tested for HIV.
A Nigerian lecturer, Dipo Awojide popularly known as “Ogbeni Dipo” has condemned the recent appointments of BBNaija stars into political offices.

A lady with the name, Etiennette Ajoluje has narrated the encounter she had with young commercial sex workers in a brothel located at a slum in Lagos.
Giving details of her visit to the brothel on Friday, November 6, the lady shared that the girls make an average of N5000 daily from sleeping with 5 – 7 men.
Etiennette discovered that about four of the girls are pregnant while one is a mother to a 16 months old baby. According to Ms Ajoluje, the girls she interviewed have expressed their readiness to quit prostitution.

The lifeless body of a middle aged woman was found dumped along Musaha lane, off Ekpo Abasi junction in Calabar, the Cross River state capital on Friday morning, November 6.
According to CrossRiverWatch, the woman has been identified as Mrs Nkoyo, said to be a staff of the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) while her husband is the institution’s Chief driver.
The cause of death could not be ascertained as the corpse had no signs of injuries. However, one of the residents of the area said she appears to have been strangled.
Head of states, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, November 6, appealed to Nigerians who are yet to feel the impacts of his Administration and those who feel the government is not doing enough to bear with the government.
The President gave the appeal at a town hall meeting with the traditional rulers, youths, students, organised labour, market women and other stakeholders on the #EndSARS protest and its aftermath in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Represented at the town hall meeting by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, President Buhari said his administration has the interest of the youths and the people in general at heart and has been doing a lot to touch their lives.
“If we have not done enough or we have not touch everybody, we appeal that you please bear with us. In the first instance, what we have is less than 60 per cent of the revenue that was available to other governments that came before us.
We all know what we suffered during COVID 19, and as we are just trying to recover from this we also face another crisis. We appeal that you should please assist the government and be patient.
This government is dedicated to serving the people and we will continue to try our best to do so. I thank you all for your perseverance, understanding and patience,” he said.

Nigeria billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola has replied an inquisitive fan who inquired to know who would take over his businesses after his demise.
The business tycoon shared a photo on his verified Instagram page, and the male fan took to the comment section to ask him what the future holds for his company.

A 13-year old boy identified as Quadri Olalekan has reportedly been killed by his boss for money rituals in Oyo state.
The suspect, one 21 year-old briklayer, Biodun Owolabi, has been arrested alongside his accomplices: Festus Simon (20) and an alfa over the murder of the school student in Ibadan, Oyo state.
According to reports, on October 31, the suspect informed the deceased about a bricklaying job at Iyana Church, Iwo church, in order to lure him out for their sinister intention.
Quadri, who had been an apprentice under Owolabi due to the closure of schools, availed himself for the job.
After several hours, he didn’t return home which raised suspicion in his mother, who raised an alarm about the whereabout of her son.
On interrogation, Owolabi initially denied but later confessed to killing the missing child, The Cable reports
“When it was discovered that the boy was missing, Owolabi was approached but he said he did not know where the boy was. When members of the community intervened, he said the boy had been killed and buried. He said he and the Alfa killed the boy and took parts of his body for ritual purposes. According to him, a popular baker and another individual in the area paid them to bring the body parts,” a source told the publication.
Owolabi then took residents of the community to the location where they buried the 13-year-old. His remains was stuffed in a sack and buried in a shallow grave.
The sack was reportedly dripping with blood when it was exhumed. It was more disturbing that parts of the teenagers body were missing. His arms, eyes, penis and part of his buttocks were removed.
A relative of the deceased’s mother who simply identified herself as Bisi said Quadri Olalekan was to mark his 14th birthday a day after he was killed and his mother had already bought clothes for the occasion.

The 23-year-old singer took to her Twitter account to congratulate her fellow housemate, Nengi on her recent appointment as the SSA to the governor and face of Bayelsa state.
However, some fans highlighted the fact that she is yet to bag any ambassadorial deal since she left the house. A well meaning fan reacting, said people should stop being weird and insensitive by constantly reminding her about it.
The fan wrote,
“I feel it’s weird & absolutely insensitive to keep telling her hers is coming soon when she congratulates her friends. It’s really awkward, stop it pls. Say it in your mind. If you are that concerned, PRAY FOR HER!”
Reacting to the post, the BBNaija finalist said people are trying to attach her success to signing contracts for public approval, but it doesn’t work that way.

Recall that, the Big Brother Naija second runner up, was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant and face of Bayelsa, by the governor of the state, Douye Diri.
The 22- year old reality star alongside Neo Akpofure, visited the government house, Today, November 6th. and he took to his Twitter page to celebrate Nengi’s recent feat.
He wrote,

A 23 year-old lady, identified as Joyce Ejeme Balogun was allegedly stripped naked and brutally beaten by her employer over allegation of theft.
The dehumanizing incident reportedly happened at a hotel in Benin-Sapele Road, Edo State.
According to the victim, she was beaten by her employer, who owned the hotel, and his boys after being accused of stealing six television sets from the hotel. She further alleged that the men took away her pant, bra and blouse.
Facebook user, Osaretyn Asemota-Ero shared the story and photos of the bruises she sustained from the assault.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate disclosed this in an interview with Pulse on Wednesday, November 4th, while reacting to the reports about Mercy’s new marital status.
“This is incorrect. I have a tell-all book coming soon. Please be patient,” he told Pulse.

According to Diekoloreoluwa, the actor is his adviser, mentor, comedian above all, a wonderful father to his kids.
