A video making the rounds on social media captured the bizarre moment two women wrestled in a dirty pond not minding the health hazard.

According to reports, the women were allegedly fighting over a man.

Eyewitnesses at the scene could do little to separate the fighting ladies as they were hellbent on manhandling each other.

Men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Lagos Zone have arrested one Ihebuzo Chris for alleged cyber stalking.

Chris, a suspected hacker, was arrested recently in Benin City, Edo State, following a petition received by the Commission from the bank he allegedly hacked.

According to reports, Chris had, in an online video, claimed to be in possession of some personal information and Biometric Verification Numbers of over 1000 customers of the bank, which he claimed to have obtained after hacking into its data base from his personal laptop computer.

Items recovered from the suspect, at the point of arrest, include the laptop computer, which he used to upload the said viral video, a printout of over 2000 bank details, including the BVN of customers of the bank, 12 blank ATM cards suspected to be for perpetration of his alleged criminal activity.

He would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have apprehended a private school teacher, Mathew Adebayo, for allegedly raping a 15-year-old SSS 3 student in Sango, Ogun State.

The 26-year-old suspect was arrested yesterday, September 11, following a complaint by the school proprietress, who alleged that the suspect forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of the victim, who is currently writing her final exam at the school.

According to Vanguard, the victim alleged that the suspect has been raping her repeatedly since the resumption of the school in preparation for the WAEC exam.

Also, the proprietress further revealed that the said teacher intimidated the victim by telling her that she will not pass the WAEC exams, if she didn’t allow him have sex with her, consequence upon which he has been calling her out of the dormitory in the night and taking her to a classroom where he used to have carnal knowledge of her.

When the victim could no longer bear the sexual assault of the randy teacher, she decided to inform the proprietress.

Confirming the arrest, the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said the suspect has since confessed to committing the crime. Adding that the victim has been taken to hospital for medical attention.

A Lagos businesswoman identified as Oma, has taken to the micro-blogging platform to narrate how she survived what would have been a fatal accident.

According to the lady, she was doing 110 on Aba road and when she tried to swerve past a pothole, she lost control of her steering wheel and her brakes refused to work.

She noticed her car heading for a trailer and as the car got dangerously close to the trailer, she could only scream the name of Jesus.

When she opened her eyes, she found that her car had somehow done a complete 360 so that the rear was squashed under the trailer while the front of the car was facing the road and was completely fine.

A Kenyan Twitter personality Captain kale, has courted controversy on the platform after stating that married women shouldn’t be given freedom after marriage as according to him, if you pay her dowry, she becomes your property.

He made this known while reacting to a topic in which radio host, Maina Kagena asked women about the definition of freedom in marriage.

“Ladies, when you tell your husband you want freedom in your marriage/relationship, what do you mean” the topic reads.

In his own reaction, Captain Kale alluded giving freedom to women to handing a fully loaded gun to your enemy.

Men of the Kano State Fire Service have recovered the body of a little boy identified as Aminu Ilu, who drowned in a pond in the state.

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Thursday morning, September 10, when Aminu went to take a bath in the pond popularly known as Italian Pond.

Alhaji Saidu Mohammed, the Public Relations Officer of the State Fire Service, said in a statement ;

“We received a distress call from Maiduguri road by Danladi Nasidi Kumbotso local government at 09:57 am hours, through Malam Ado Sule,” the statement reads.

“In response to call we sent our rescue team to the scene of incident and discovered that it was a boy of about 10 years who drowned in a pond popularly ITALIAN POND. The victim was rescued unconscious,”

“His corpse was handed to the ward head of Mariri Kata village, Alhaji Gambo Adamu on behalf of his family. We advice people to join hand with fire service to stop our young ones from going local swimming”
