A Nigerian man has shared on the microblogging platform X how he escaped being a victim of a one-chance bus.

Recounting the event, he noted that nothing seemed right after the driver picked up a passenger without asking him where he was going.

His post read;

“I was coming from my brother’s place in Berger ni oo As I entered that bus I saw a lady and a guy at the innermost back seat inside the bus But then immediately I entered I just saw that another guy entered with me and then the driver started driving without the guy telling the conductor where he was going or how much he was going to pay Immediately I sensed. I wanted to share location with my brother but my hand was just shaking and I had to lock my phone and put it deep inside my pocket not long after I did that like about 2 to 3 minutes after, the guy sitting beside me brought out a knife and threatened to stab me if I didn’t cooperate Before he finished saying what he was saying I just held that his hand with the knife with my right hand soo firmly that he couldn’t move it and I immediately held the driver’s neck from behind using my left hand and I began to shout at the very top of my voice “Egbami oo Egbami oo”. As we did all that the lady who was sitting right behind me started to shout too that they should let me go that we will all die if they didn’t. All these struggling started from somewhere around 7up I am not really sure sha, and when we got to Ketu around that Abiola gardens the driver just parked at once And the person holding that knife dragged me from his side to the door side In that process I unconsciously pushed him too and we both fell down from the bus. so immediately we fell the second guy helped him back up asap and they zoomed off As they zoomed off I stood up and began to run nonstop for like 10 minutes before I eventually boarded another bus at the next bus stop to Gbagada”

Nigerian music producer and singer, John Udomboso, professionally known as Young John, has revealed that he decided to become a musician instead of a producer when his mother passed away in 2017.

He disclosed the information while recalling how heartbroken he was by the loss in a recent interview with Nandi Madida on Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio.

Young John claimed that he began spending more time alone in his studio and that he stopped producing for artists.

The “Aquafina” crooner revealed that he recorded a lot of songs but never used it or released it, so he decided to start doing so.

Daniel advised that people should desist from asking for more than one pure water when they visit their friends or colleagues.

The video shared on the couple’s TikTok page @dlulusfamily revealed that the man was shock after spotting the damage the car had sustained. The husband lamented that he woke up to an expensive damage.

A Nigerian woman has shared anonymously on the microblogging platform X how her husband who has been cheating on her months after their wedding infected her with HIV.

She shared that she was aware he was cheating but he denied it, claiming the lady was a distant relative when she confronted him.

Her post read;

“I got married last year. Before marriage, I was HIV negative and so was my husband. Just somewhere in December, my husband started seeing a young lady of about twenty-four years. He has saved her contact as Karen so I presume that’s her name. I cautioned him about the sort of messages he is exchanging with the lady but he got angry saying, I am reading meanings into the whole thing. He said the girl is a distant relative he met at one of his aunty’s wedding in December and I let it slide. Early February, I figured my husband is having an affair with the lady. I became so angry that I had to involved his mom. After a long disagreement and misunderstanding between us, he said he is letting go of the lady which I believe he probably did. Mid of March, I realized I was pregnant so I visited the hospital and it was confirmed that I was three weeks pregnant. Just this past Monday I went to have some tests and guess what, I was confirmed HIV positive. I doubted the results so I visited another hospital and it showed the same results. I called my husband to come have his own test that instant and yes, he has it. That was when I started weeping and begging him to tell me the truth because just before we got married in November last year, we were both negative. We went to check together Sir. We even knew we will be negative so we didn’t panic. Sir, my husband confessed to me that very moment that it could be the girl because they have had an encounter on a few occasions plus, he didn’t use condoms but pulled out instead. He said she is the only lady he has been with since we got married. Anyway, the girl has told him the truth that she already knew she was HIV positive that’s why she insisted he uses a condom but he refused. Me I have left the marriage.”

Nigerian actor Alex Ekubo has reacted via his Instagram page to the news of his colleagues who died in a boat accident.

Recall that Junior Pope and 4 others had lost their lives in a boat accident while making their way to a movie location in Anambra.

Alex wrote on his page;

“What is the meaning of life?
One minute we are here, the next minute we are not.
The tragedy of the boat accident that happened days ago, still has me shocked to my bones.
While I was celebrating my birthday, others were fighting for their lives.
I haven’t been able to attend any event or function properly since then, as I can only imagine the unbearable pain & utter confusion the families of all those whose lives were lost are in.
It’s incomprehensible the amount of senseless & avoidable deaths we are faced with each day in this country.

The Nigerian Correctional Service has given an update about how Bobrisky is being treated in prison.

An official of the prison who spoke with Punch mentioned that the crossdresser is not getting any five-star treatment.

Recall that Bobrisky was sentenced to six months imprisonment over the counts of naira abuse and money laundering.

Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos while sentencing the internet personality, said the judgement would impede others who are found abusing and mutilating the naira notes.

A source informed the publication that; “Bobrisky made a public declaration that he was a male” also court proceedings are public records.

The prison official also revealed to Punch that the crossdresser was taken to prison after the judgement and he was examined at the point of admission.

Adding that, no realignment of gender or genital organ was discovered as his male biological features were the same.

He also mentioned in the publication that;

“After that, a cell was allocated to him, and he had a certain number of inmates with him. A bed space was also allotted to him. It is just like a boarding house where your housemaster will issue you your personal belongings. When it is time for class, he attends. When it is time for food, he will go and get his portion. The same goes with prep and light out. He observes all these without preference. He has been going about his business just like other inmates since he was brought in here. He is not getting any five-star treatment and is not being protected from anybody. He follows the same rules and regulations just like every other inmate. Single cells of isolation cells are to prevent outbreaks of communicable diseases. In a male prison, homosexuality is outlawed and it is a grievous offence. Sodomy or homosexuality, is frowned upon here in the custodial centre. So any inmate that tries to violate him will face the law”
