Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy has revealed his thoughts on people’s perception and how they vary depending on who’s telling the story.
The Mavin records boss in a recent social media post stated that no matter how good a person is, an individual is somewhere selling a negative story about the person.
Revealing this via micro-blogging platform, Twitter, the entrepreneur wrote; “No matter how good you are, you are the villain in somebody’s narration of the movie. Good morning.”

A Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Humble Okoro, has carried out a funeral service for late George Floyd in Mbaise, Imo State.
Leadership reports that Pastor Okoro while carrying out the funeral, said..
“I have traced the ancestral root of George Obinna Floyd to Umuoffor kindred in Obokwu obibi Aboh Mbaise Imo State and I feel so happy now that we have reburied him alongside with his ancestors.”
46-year-old Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest for allegedly using a counterfeit bill in May this year. He was buried in Houston on June 6.

Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Lilo has amid tears called her relationship with fellow housemate, Eric a distraction.
Lilo, the youngest housemate in the history of BBNaija cried to Big Brother during her diary session on Tuesday, that being with Eric has distracted her and that she would stop sharing bed with him.

There’s an ongoing challenge that’s being spread across social media of “women supporting women” and Big Brother Naija housemate, Kim Oprah is hoping that that’s what it is about.

Big Brother Naija: Lockdown housemate, Kaisha has said she believes her fellow male housemate, Ozo should have won the head of house challenge on Monday.
According to her, she feels the 27-year-old consultant and entrepreneur should have emerged HOH because he is real and has a great personality.
Speaking on how she feels in the house, Kaisha revealed that she feels good because she is receiving good vibes from fellow housemates unlike before when they all acted fake and ganged up against her.
Kaisha says she feels Lucy’s win as the head of house is just by luck but would have preferred Ozo won because he has a great personality and acts real in the house.
She added that she is 100% confident she will escape eviction on Sunday.
Before she became HOH, Kaisha was involved in a fight with Lucy over used sanitary pads. The two female housemates had been involved in a shouting match some days ago which resulted in them exchanging abusive names — Lucy had insinuated that Kaisha acts like a baby and responding to her, Kaisha slammed Lucy and labelled her an old cargo.

Nigerians on social media are currently enraged over an incident that occurred last Sunday, 26th of July which involved the police and a family.
It’s been reported alongside a troubling video of how a police officer allegedly shot at a car occupied by a man and his family, allegedly over refusal to pay a bribe.
The incident is reported to have happened around Japaul house in Ikeja. According to one Ayodele Oyewole who shared the video, the wife fainted after the police officer shot at their car, shattering the rear windshield.
Videos which have now been shared online show people confronting the police officer after the incident. They put the unconscious lady into the car and asked the police officer to drive her to a hospital.
The children of the lady who passed can be seen crying and calling out for their mum as they witnessed the horror play out.
Giving an update earlier today, Ayodele revealed that the husband has decided not to pursue the case anymore because the police have begged him and promised to repair his car.
This has however, angered a lot of social media users as they’ve begun clamouring for justice for the family who were yet another victims of police brutality.

A Nigerian graduate whose wife is currently an expectant mother, has pleaded with Nigerians via Twitter to find him a job to take proper care of his family.
Sharing his story, he revealed how he graduate from school as the best student in 2016, but since then it has been difficult for him to find a good job.
He subsequently got married and himself and his wife had to take on teaching jobs, in order to sustain the family, but the outbreak of COVID-19 has worsened their financial crisis.

A Nigerian man, Iwe Ego has sparked outrage on social media space after he opined that any man who cooks for his wife, has lost his dignity.
The man on Facebook made this known in a recent post he shared in the popular Facebook group today, July 27.
He explained that once a man cooks for his wife, he has lost his dignity. Men cooking for their wives or girlfriends is rare but any man who does it is widely praised. But Ego sees it directly different and wants any man doing it to stop immediately.

The Federal Government has declared Thursday 30 and Friday 31 July, 2020 as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Celebration.
The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola while making the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulated Muslim faithful and all Nigerians both at home and abroad on the occasion.

He called on all Nigerians to join hands with the administration of President Buhari in its avowed determination to build a peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous country, where the rights of every citizen, are protected and guaranteed, as enshrined in the Constitution of the FRN.
The Minister advised Nigerians to take responsibility against the spread of the COVID-19 virus and also to stay safe by observing physical and social distancing, personal and respiratory hygiene, as well as other regulations issued by relevant authorities.
