Popular On-air personality, Toolz Oniru-Demuren, has taken to her social media page to narrate an experience she had with a staff who asked her to transfer her entire salary to her church.
In a tweet she shared, Toolz stated that though her staff is free to do whatever she wants with her money but it however makes her (Toolz) to feel some type of way.
She tweeted;
One of my staff just asked that I transfer her entire salary to her church. She’s free to do what she wants to of course, but it does make me feel some type of way.
A follower tried to justify the staff’s decision by explaining the importance of “First Fruit” and Toolz replied thus ; “Your whole salary? How are you supposed to survive?”.

A Nigerian gentleman who survived COVID-19, Olubunmi Adefisayo has reminisced on the experience that has claimed the lives of people all over the world.
In a recent chat with Nigeria Health Watch, Olubunmi disclosed how he tested positive for the virus, the symptoms he had, and his experience at the Yaba Isolation center in Lagos.
He said he finds it strange that some Nigerians do not believe that the virus is in the country.

“I don’t remember the exact date but in the first week of April, I noticed I had lost my sense of smell and taste. I checked online to know if it was a possible COVID-19 symptom. It turned out that some survivors mentioned those as their initial symptoms too. Then I decided to call NCDC to get tested. Two days later, the Lagos State team came to my house to take my sample for testing.
The waiting period was filled with a lot of tension. I just wanted to know the result so I could get it off my mind. It was a bit frustrating. Of course, I understood that the results were not immediate. Two days later, they called and said I tested positive. I gave them my address and within an hour, I was picked up and taken to the isolation centre.
My symptoms were very mild. Many people think that when you catch the coronavirus, you will die or experience debilitating symptoms. It is very bizarre that people don’t believe there is a virus. I find it very strange. It is not a joke. People need to stop reading all these conspiracy theories or believing all these weird websites. Look at only credible sources for information.
Anyway, I live in my apartment alone so I was worried about my neighbours. What if they contracted the disease from me? From touching the same gate as I did or something. Some of my neighbours were tested but luckily their results were negative. The Lagos State COVID-19 team also went to a supermarket I had visited earlier, to trace staff I may have had contact with. I don’t know the results of those tests. I hope none of them tested positive.
I was on admission in Yaba for 14 days. I remember a man that was brought into our ward. He was in his late 70s. He was clearly in a bad shape, he could hardly breathe. He struggled to walk. He was only with us for one night. The next morning, he was taken away. We don’t know what happened to him. We asked the health workers but they didn’t tell us anything. Nigerian self-acclaimed male Barbie, Idris Okuneye known better as Bobrisky has reportedly been arrested and is currently being detained at the Ajah area command in Lagos State.
In a new report by Gistlovers blog, who shared videos of the incident, why the effeminate was arrested by the police is yet to be ascertained.
However, the blog noted that the crossdresser was spotted in his rangerover accompanied by police men. Their report reads,
“Bobrisky has been arrested again!!! Spotted at Lekki phase 1 in his range Rover accompanied by some police men. We are yet to know the reason behind his arrest but she has been detained at Ajah area command, Lagos State”.

This is not the first time the cross dresser will be arrested as sometime in March of this year, Bobrisky was spotted cooling off in a police station in Lagos State, after he was picked up the previous night.

Jonathan Steingard shared that before going public with his belief, he had private conversations with trusted friends and was shocked to find out that his thoughts is also shared by a number of people with visible position in the Christian circle.

Lagos state Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi has said that the state will begin to see a significant decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in about four to six months.
Prof. Abayomi mentioned this when he spoke at the 2020 Ministerial Press Briefing in commemoration of the One-Year Anniversary of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s assumption of office on Wednesday, May 27.
“It is difficult to predict the end of COVID19. When we are going to see our peak is also dependent on the profile of the outbreak.
We are watching what’s happening across the world and using the pattern of the outbreak in different environments to try and reach some kind of modelling pattern to when we are going to peak and when we are going to see the end of the outbreak.
We believe that a period of four to six months is a reasonable period by which we should start to see a significant decline in the number of COVID19 cases that we pick up in Lagos.
By that stage, many people would have been exposed to the virus and therefore the virus will have less of an opportunity to infect people because they would have developed some degree of immunity to the virus and that would signify the end of COVID19” he said

Embattled Singer, Cynthia Morgan who has dominated news headlines all week, has written an open letter in an attempt to put an end to the saga which culminated following her interview where she revealed her struggles in her music career.
Cynthia claimed during her initial interview that the contract restricted her from using her name “Cynthia Morgan”. She also added that Jude Okoye took over her Instagram account.
However, Jude Okoye denied most of the claims. He denied restricting her from using her birth name. He also disclosed the things he did for Cynthia while she was signed to his record label, including giving her money to buy land for her mother.

Also, Cynthia’s former manager, Joy Tongo, weighed in and said Cynthia Morgan was lying and seeking self-pity in order to make a comeback.
Yesterday, a copy of the singer’s contract which was drafted by her former manager and signed by Jude Okoye, surfaced on social media and it further laid waste to Cynthia Morgan’s earlier claim.
Cynthia has now reacted by writing an open letter. In it, she thanked Jude Okoye and Joy Tongo but insisted she didn’t lie, adding that she only shared her story “as it happened from her own point of view.”

Fast rising Canadian rapper, Houdini has died at the age of 21 after he was shot in Toronto.
Houdini was reportedly gunned down on Tuesday evening outside a hotel in the downtown area of the city.
Houdini was one of three people taken to hospital with injuries but he was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. The two others, a woman, 27, and a 15-year-old boy are expected to recover from the attack.
Toronto Police believe it was targeted shooting after gunfire broke out outside the hotel sometime after 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Toronto Police, Chief Mark Saunders described the shooting as “very brazen” and revealed cops responded to reports of gunfire yesterday evening.
He said the attack was planned and suspects had been waiting in their car for around 40 minutes before opening fire.
Saunders explained: “It turns out the suspect vehicle, based on the evidence we have right now, was waiting for about forty minutes for the occupants of another vehicle to arrive to their vehicle.
“When they did, the suspect vehicle made a U-turn, came out, and started firing at this group of individuals.”
“This was very brazen, this offence that took place,” he said. “However, it’s very solvable…
“There was a driver of the suspect vehicle and we know that the shooter got out on the passenger side.”
A firearm was reportedly recovered from the scene and police are appealing for people with information to come forward.
A witness told CP24 : “What we heard was like a bunch of fireworks. There were lots of echoes – about six to 10 shots. It was quite startling and then you hear all the sirens afterwards.
“I think a lot of people have power outages in this area too, so people were out for a walk I guess. It’s quite shocking to see in this area.”

English Football club, Manchester United is edging closer to agree on a new deal to keep Odion Ighalo at Old Trafford after it was revealed the Chinese Super League’s foreign players are to be banned from returning until October, meaning he can’t leave anytime soon with his loan deal set to expire this Sunday.
His parent club, Shanghai Shenhua had been demanding Ighalo return to China ahead of the new Chinese Super League season next month with a two-year contract extension worth £400,000 per week on the table.
At some point, the Chiness club were considering selling the Nigerian international while United only wanted an extension in his loan deal.
His agent, Ladi Salami has now revealed that an extension is close to being agreed between Manchester United, Shanghai Shenhua and Odion Ighalo.

A landlord in the Ofankor area of Ghana has reportedly been arrested for allegedly shooting his tenant who refused to vacate his house after he ordered him to.
A Facebook user, Blessing Naana Ansah-Senkyire took to her page to share photos of the arrested suspect at the police station.
She revealed that the landlord who was angry that her brother, Kobby didn’t finish packing on the day he was asked to vacate the property, took a gun and shot him while still in his room. Kobby reportedly died instantly.
She wrote,
Yesterday this man shot and killed my brother at ofankor. Mr landlord who is a disappointed bugar, you won’t go free. No one will bail you out for taking a life..

While he refused to comment on the family issues between Peter, Paul, and Jude in public, the ‘Good or Bad’ singer made a heartfelt request to the music executive to forgive and put the whole issue to rest.
J.Martins also called on Peter and Paul to get back together as Psquare, and also tasked Cynthia Morgan and May D to make a great comeback.
He wrote:
I made a promise to myself that i will never discuss anything that has to do with my brothers the Okoye’s family or ( Psquare ) on social media platforms not minding pressures from left right and centre. Jude have always been the elder brother to all of us while he was the manager as well too.
Our relationship as young hustlers/ brothers as at when i joined them started more then a decade and half about 16years or more, from Ilupeju together then to Omole phase 1 and building the psquare studio in omole house then and the rest is history, so when i say that to you all that before you talk or bash someone by jumping into conclusions, always make sure that you do your due diligence and have your facts right.
Well I’m not here to discuss Peter & Paul because this two are kind hearted & lovely beautiful personalities in their own ways nor the reason for the separation of the group ( Psquare ) because that’s a family matter and just like all of us come from our different families and we all have our own issues, none of you will bring the issues in your family to the public for sentiments or public pity expect maybe you don’t have respect for your family. First of all I will like to say A Very Big Thank You to Jude for speaking up & please do this more often big bro meanwhile I’m here to say that on the contract issues with Cynthia Morgan & May D, all this happened right in front of all of us. Yes nobody knows it all and just like the saying goes “anybody can make mistakes” & nobody is perfect.
On Jude’s position I Stand. Jude did the very best he knew to help each of their music careers and support them but i guess that lessons have been learned.
I will like to please ask Jude my elder brother to forgive and let this whole issue be laid to rest, while i’m trusting God and looking forward to seeing my two twin brothers Peter & Paul ( Psquare ) MAKE A COMEBACK in our very EYES while we’re all still Alive.
