Mike Ezuruonye is calling out bullshit and damning the consequence.
The rather low-key Nollywood actor isn’t impressed with humans who put up the show of a flamboyant lifestyle for other people’s benefit whilst suffering, and he is making his displeasure known.
Sharing his thoughts, the 37-year-old called out fake lifestyle in a post writing,

Nigerian pastor, Kingsley Okonkwo, has shared his thoughts on FEMINISM and it appears the eloquent cleric is not in support of the movement.
Okonkwo started off the conversation by saying the way boys are raised is very different from girls as the boys need more direction, he went on to say male and female are not the same, claiming this is backed by scripture, science and statistics.
According to him, the feminism movement is backed by sentiments. Okonkwo described the movement as one influenced by Satan.
His words ;
“Boys need a lot of direction. The way you raise boys is not how you raise girls because they are not the same. Male and female are not the same. We have people who argue that they are the same. I always tell people that there are 3 things that inform my teaching, scripturally tested, scientifically and statistically back. I don’t teach from sentiments. Many people try to build their scripture from sentiments so they start fighting back that oh feminism and all that. That men and women are the same. We are never the same. We have different roles.
Scripture tells us that, science tells us that, the statistics also tell us that. But unfortunately, Satan is using offended and broken people to start those movements. People that, maybe they’ve grown up in homes where the fathers were abusive then they start saying ‘oh we don’t need any head in the home, men and women should be equal.’ It’s coming from a place of hurt, from a place of abuse.
Maybe their dad was absent so they start saying ‘no woman should commit to any man. They are reacting based on something that has happened which we understand that what happened was bad but they should not try to change the roles and the gender because that is very important.
Budding Yoruba actress, Oyinkansola Emmanuel has revealed her type of man and shockingly, the richest man in Africa, Nigerian business tycoon, Aliko Dangote does not meet up to her requirement.
Speaking during an Instagram Live chat with Yoruba Movies Gist, the actress said:
”I will appreciate a God fearing man, who knows what it takes to have a woman at home as a wife. He must be very respectful and know how to treat me well. I don’t want a man that will turn himself to Mike Tycson or Anthony Joshua in my marriage. Regardless of his status, he must be very tall. I am not saying I don’t need money, a man that must marry me must be okay in his only little way, he should be able to cater for his family, not the one that will become a burden on me. Even if he doesn’t have the millions yet, I will still go with him if he is my choice”.
In the latest update of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, 146 new cases have been reported as of Tuesday evening, May 12th by the National Centre for Disease Control.
In a new update on their Twitter page, the NCDC reports that there’s new cases in Lagos, Kano, Kwara, Edo, Bauchi, Yobe, Kebbi, Oyo, Katsina, Niger, Plateau, Borno, Sokoto, Benue, Gombe, Enugu, Ebonyi, Ogun, FCT and Rivers.
A Nigerian model has given the narrative of an encounter he had with a newly married woman whose husband is based overseas — he shared how the lady offered to be paying him a sizable sum monthly should he agree to be her boyfriend.
The man, King Monye stated that a friend introduced him to her and she often sends money to him but he did not read any motive to the gesture other then friendship.
According to Monye, this went on for a month before she pitched her proposal to him and said she’ll be paying N150k monthly if he agrees.
In his words,
“Last year a friend introduced me to a young newly married woman of 28, her husband stays oversees, we began talking and she sometimes sends me money and airtime without me asking, I felt she just liked me as a friend and I didn’t reject any of her offer,… “she even invites me for lunch and dinner in an eatery.
Fast forward to a month after, she asked me to be her boyfriend, I was surprised because I knew she was married and she talks with her husband even when I’m there, she said she would pay me 150k a month, mehn I was just… “confused, I liked her and I enjoyed her company but just as friends.
I thought of the offer but I had to put myself in place of her husband, the word ‘karma’ struck me, I was having mix feelings about it so I told her I wasn’t interested, we cut all ties afterwards. “Each time I remember it, I feel I would have taken the offer but then again what if they do same to my wife. Maybe If she was not married I would have accepted.”
A 22-year-old lady identified as Adisa Funmilola reportedly drowned her baby because she prevented her from going to the university to study law.
According to a report by Vanguardngr, she drowned the one-year and six months old baby inside a bucket of water in her apartment at Plot 22, Gowon Estate, Lagos, on Monday, and then reported herself to the Police.
During interrogation, she blamed her action on frustration, saying her baby deprived her of actualising her dream of becoming a lawyer.
She explained that she was impregnated by one Yusuf Folarin, while both were attending a JAMB class at City of Success in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
However, Folarin denied it and request that the pregnancy be aborted. Along the line, she said she was offered admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, to study Law, but had to defer the admission because of the baby.
Surprisingly, Folarin did not show remorse for her action. She said,
“I killed my baby and reported myself to the police. I filled a bucket with water, dipped her inside and held her head until she died.
I did it for three reasons. First, I didn’t have the financial might to take care of her. Second, I was tired and frustrated. But the most painful reason is that she deprived me of actualising my dream of becoming a lawyer.
I would have aborted the pregnancy, but my father advised me against it. The person that is responsible for the pregnancy rejected me. I live with my sister, who has no job and I am also not working.”
Asked if she was aware of the magnitude of her offence, she gave a wry smile, and muttered,
“The most important thing is that I have killed the baby.”
Her elder sister, who expressed shock at her sibling’s action, said she was at home on the day of the incident, but never knew what the latter was doing until policeman stormed their apartment.
She said,
“I suspect she is mentally deranged because our mother had a similar mental issue before she died.”
The Police said the suspect undergo psychiatric test but that will not stop her from facing the consequence of her action.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) have reported the arrest of two Chinese nationals who offered a N100m bribe to the commission’s top officer.
In a report on their social media page, the Chinese men were apprehended on Monday, May 11 by the Sokoto Zonal office of the commission.

The Sokoto Zonal Office of the EFCC, has arrested two Chinese: Mr. Meng Wei Kun and Mr. Xu Koi for offering a sum of N50,000,000 as bribe to its Zonal Head, Mr. Abdullahi Lawal.
The suspects were arrested on Monday, May 11, 2020 in Sokoto.
The bribe was allegedly offered in a desperate bid to compromise ongoing investigations of a construction company, China Zhonghao Nig. Ltd, handling contracts awarded by the Zamfara State Government in the sum of N50,000,000,000.00(Fifty Billion Naira) between 2012 to 2019.
The zonal office of the Commission is investigating the construction company, in connection with the execution of contracts for the construction of township roads in Gummi, Bukkuyun, Anka and Nassarawa towns of Zamfara state and also the construction of one hundred and sixty eight (168) solar- powered boreholes in the 14 local government areas of the state.
Alarmed by the consistency and professionalism of investigation being conducted, the company reached out to Lawal with an offer of N100,000,000( One Hundred Million Naira) as bribe to “bury” the matter.
In a grand design to trap the corrupt officials, Lawal played along.
On Monday, two representatives of the company Meng Wei Kun and Xu Kuoi offered him cash totaling fifty million naira in their office along airport road, Sokoto. The cash was offered as a first installment.
The suspects were promptly arrested with the cash as an evidence.
Investigation of the construction company was informed by an intelligence on alleged conspiracy; misappropriation of public funds; embezzlement; official corruption, abuse of office, stealing and money laundering obtained against the Zamfara state government through inflated and uncompleted contracts awarded to the company.
Investigations have so far revealed that China Zounghao Ltd has received payments of over N41,000,000,000.00 (Forty One Billion Naira) from the Zamfara state government out of which about N16,000,000,000.00 (Sixteen Billion Naira) equivalent to over $53,000,000.00(Fifty Three Million US Dollars) was allegedly diverted and traced to some bureau de change operators

A yet-to-be identified official of the Lagos State Management Authority (LASTMA) has been allegedly beaten to coma by a police officer.
In the video which is fast going viral, the LASTMA official could be seen laying unconscious on the ground while surrounded by some security operatives and an FRSC official who was attempting to revive the LASTMA official.
At some point, the man who was stylishly filming, presumably a colleague to the unconscious LASTMA official was threatened by a security operative who vowed to deal with him if he filmed the incident.
He was later confronted by the security operative, forcing him to stop the filming.
The contention between the unconscious LASTMA official and the security operatives who put him in coma is still a mystery.
According to reports, the security operatives are yet to be identified but the LASTMA official is currently receiving treatment at Apapa general hospital.
Sunmbo Adeoye and her spouse, Pastor David Adeoye, have welcomed their second child, a bouncing baby girl.
The couple who welcomed a son in 2018, announced the arrival of their baby girl this afternoon — this will be Sunmbo’s fourth child and Pastor Adeoye’s second child.
Sunmbo already has two boys, Nino and Zion, with singer. 2Face Idibia.
When Sunmbo Adeoye had her first son for her husband, Pastor Adeoye sometime in 2018, they had their son’s christening ceremony in the United states.
During the christening, Sunmbo revealed the circumstances that led to the birth of her son, David. She said at the time,

Nigerian singer, Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo popular known by stage name, Kcee, has welcomed his third child, a bouncing baby boy.
The baby boy, named Kwemtochukwu Okonkwo, was born today, which also happens to be the singer’s wife, Ijeoma Okonkwo’s birthday.
Kcee took to his Instagram to share the news subtly alluded to his brother, E-Money’s ordeal after the Inspector General of Police ordered the immediate withdrawal of the police escorts attached to the Five Star Group Chairman.

A makeup artist has claimed that a pregnant woman ran into her studio to escape her husband who wanted to beat her for not cooking early.
The Twitter user shared a photo of the pregnant woman hiding in her shop and narrated what transpired.
She wrote: “This pregnant lady just ran into my studio, she fell down at the entrance and I quickly rushed to help her. It turns out that her husband was the one chasing her, he wanted to beat her for not cooking early. Wtf”

Nollywood veteran actress, Rita Edochie took to her page recently to share photos of controversial man of God, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje and his beautiful wife, Uju Ohanaemere.
The actress accompanied the photos with a brief history on the pastor’s spouse, Uju as she refuted the claims making the rounds that she was the daughter of late Eddy Nawgu, who was a popular self-acclaimed prophet and an occult practitioner.
Because of his rather infamous reputation and Prophet Odumeje‘s suspicious rise to stardom despite his unorthodox ways of preaching, a lot of people have believed that he got spiritual help from his wife whom they believe is Nawgu‘s daughter.

A Nigerian lady took to her social media page to share gruesome images of what her drunk husband did to her and how he chased her out of their home in the middle of the night.
The lady, one Morenikeji Awosanya on Facebook, took to her page to reveal that her spouse came home drunk and started beating for no reason at all.
She said the man —the father of her kids— after beating her mercilessly, chased her out of their house in the middle of the night.

Actor Zubby Michael threw a tantrum yesterday as he lambasted people who insinuated he got spiritual powers from controversial cleric, Odumeje.
Zubby, who seemed to be on the defensive with the video he shared yesterday, said the prophet was just his very good friend from way back and not his PASTOR.

Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the immediate withdrawal of the police escorts attached to Chairman of Five Star Group, billionaire, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money.
Spokesperson of the Lagos state command says an order came from the Inspector General of Police’s office for the immediate withdrawal of the police escorts attached to E-Money.
On what could have led to such a decision, the police spokesperson stated to LIB he would not be able to comment but can authoritatively confirm that the police escorts have been withdrawn.
There’s been reports that the billionaire might have gotten the police authority angry over his alleged abuse of the privilege of having police escorts.
A police source said the authorities accused him of using his police escorts like they were his domestic servants with some of them posing in photos as they opened the doors of his cars for him, hold his umbrella and many unofficial duties.
The Lagos state police command has also been given a matching order to investigate his sources of income.
A Twitter user with the handle @Queen_minic says it is not the duty of a husband to cater for his wife’s family members.
According to Queen, no man should see it as an obligation to take care of his wife’s parents and siblings, adding that it is the sole responsibility of the woman to hustle and send money to her family.
She further urged all ladies to be financially independent and stop relying on their husbands for everything.

Big Brother Naija 2019 Star, Khafi Kareem has revealed how she rejected the sum of 8 Million Naira that was given to her to promote a bleaching cream.
The caramel-skinned reality star disclosed how she rejected the offer via her Instagram page because bleaching was against her personal principles.

“I have always tried to monetise myself in a way that is truly in line with my values. I have had to reject certain things.
So, a certain company contacted me and this is actually, till today, the biggest offer I have received. “It was about N8 million and it wasn’t that much that I would have to do, but it was for a skin bleaching brand. “I was in the dilemma of taking the money but not having to do much and this is not something I believed in”.
I could have just taken the money and not care about the repercussions. The Lagos state police has paraded 29 worshippers arrested in the state for violating the Federal Government’s directive against congregational worship.
The Christan and Islamic clerics arrested alongside their congregants at different locations in the state while holding congregational services, were paraded on Monday May 11 at the Command headquarters, Ikeja.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu said the Islamic cleric, 40-year-old Rasheed Jimoh and others were arrested in a Mosque at Olushi, Lagos Island on 9th May, 2020 at about 1:13 pm.
The Pastor identified as 61-year-old Apostle Sherperd Moses Peter, was arrested alongside 16 others at Christ Desire Sabbath Mission, Olodi, Apapa while holding congregational service.
Odumosu said;
“They were arrested while holding a congregational prayers in violation of the order issued by Government. In a related development, on the same date at about 1600hours, Policemen on enforcement duty from Tolu Division arrested a Christian Cleric, Apostle Shepherd Moses Peter ’61 years old’ and 16 others in Christ Desire Sabbath Mission, Olodi, Apapa holding congregational service”.
The Pastor who however defended himself, said he was in church to share palliatives to his members to cushion the effect of the lockdown.
The police commissioner said the offenders will be charged to court soon.
A 20-year-old girl, Miracle Kalu, who allegedly got pregnant out of wedlock, delivered and sold her baby for N130,000, has been arrested alongside her accomplices.
Kalu, from Ohafia, Abia state, said the lack of funds to take care of her health condition and fend for the baby forced her into selling her 28-day-old child.
The suspect said after she got pregnant, her lover – whose house she doesn’t know – denied been responsible for the pregnancy. .
The bubble burst when two of her accomplices, Patrick Mbama, 41, and Ogechi Ekwebele, 30, were arrested around 2a.m at Anthony, Lagos, while returning from Imo state.
Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, said the baby was crying in the vehicle and the supposed mother of the child, Ekwebele, was advised to breastfeed the baby but her hesitation raised other passengers’ suspicion.
Odumosu said: “Upon questioning, this particular childless couple claimed that a childless man and wife in Lagos had paid for the said baby.” Kalu, who spoke to journalists, said she was an orphan and a secondary school dropout.
However, a police source disclosed that Kalu is notorious for selling her children, as it was not her first time of giving birth and selling her baby. .
The first fake couple, Mbama and Ekwebele, bought the baby from Kalu for N130,000 and resold her for N150,000, to another couple, Izuchukwu Okafor, 51, and Cecilia Okafor, 40, in Lagos.
Okafor said it was the desperation to have a child of my own that pushed her into buying the baby. “Being barren for 15 years is not easy,” she added.
Nigerian author and social media commentator, Reno Omokri, has again taken to social media to dish out a piece of advice to his followers.
Omokri, in this advice, asked everyone to work extra hard even after getting a degree as a degree does not determine success in life.

A Nigerian lady on Twitter, has stated that an Igbo man will never abandon a woman he got pregnant, adding that it is not in their DNA.
The young lady with the handle, @Adaolis_awent went on to say that even if such a lady is not the wife of the man, the Igbo guy will still take care of the person and the baby.
