60-year-old fish-farmer, Muyiwa Otuyalo, pictured left, has been arrested for attempting to smuggle a substance believed to be hard drug for his son, Damilola Otuyalo, who is currently in the custody of the EFCC in its Ibadan zonal office.
According to reports, the senior Otuyalo was at the EFCC office on Monday February 17th, supposedly to visit his son. However, while discussing with the son, an officer noticed that he brought out a sachet of tablets and handed it to his detained son.
The substabce was seized and when examined by an in-house nurse, it was discovered to be Rohypnol, a tranquilizer used under strict prescription for treatment of severe insomnia and assist in anesthesia. The drug is said to possess high sedative effect and is rarely used except when prescribed by licensed medical officers.
The junior Otuyalo was recently arrested after a criminal case of money laundering was detected in the United Kingdom and reported against him.
The case which involved £45,000 was a fragment of a wider one involving about £500,000 for which he has been declared wanted by the London’s Metropolitan Police.
He had been on the wanted list of the International Police, Interpol, before the petition was filed at the EFCC, Ibadan zonal office.
OAP, Toke Makinwa, has aired her opinion on women being the only that should cook, thus, urging men to also learn how to cook.

Busola Dakolo in a recent interview with Media Room Hub magazine revealed why she decided to expose COZA’s Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo years after he sexually molested her.
In the interview monitored by Kemi Filani News, Timi and Busola Dakolo, who are parents of three; two girls and a boy, disclosed why it took her a while to open up, and their views on the court ruling.

Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky and Tonto Dikeh have both snubbed their friend Anita Joseph on social media after she shared wedding pictures.
Anita Joseph tied the knot with a man whom she claims many feel is not her level.
Unfazed by their opinion, the curvy actress shared lovely pictures she took with her husband on social media and got congratulatory messages from fellow celebs.
However, it was noticed that her close friends, Bobrisky and Tonto Dikeh, failed to wish her a happy married life nor shared her wedding pictures on their social media pages.

Ex-husband of Hollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh, Olakunle Churchill has penned an emotional open letter to his son, King Andre, as he turned four today.
The letter contained a lot of revelations as well as accusations.
Kunle shared photos of Andre, while wishing him a happy birthday, noting that he wrote the note to “shed more light on the darkness created by bitterness.”
Adding that, “The same blood runs in us, nothing can change that. No one can change your name or turn your face away from me. You are my blood and for ever you will be mine.”
This part of his statement is in reference to Tonto Dikeh giving her son her last name.
Churchill went on to claim that two days to King Andre’s second birthday, he won the judgement in court to have access to his son whenever he wanted, but in the presence of a nanny.
He claimed that since then, Tonto has kept him from seeing his son by claiming Andre doesn’t have a nanny.
He vowed to take up the case in court to see that the court reviews the judgement again.
He wrote:
It is with the deepest and sincerest love, not just as a man, but as a father that I celebrate the one after my heart. Today marks the blessed day that my son King Andre breathe his first air in this world.

I remembered winning the judgement in court to have access to you two days before your 2nd birthday in 2018. The court insisted that your mother should grant me access to see you whenever I want through a Nanny, you can even visit me on holidays and other special events, also I was given your international passport and all your credentials after showing payment proves.
The condition was fine by me as a caring father, even though I have always wanted to have you by my side all day and all night, play together, tell tales and assist in your home works, instill the needed discipline but the situations at hand couldn’t, because we need to respect the judgement to avoid contempt of the court.
Unfortunately my dear son, the agreement was breached by for flimsy excuses, I couldn’t forget in a hurry the the fun we had together the last time we met; but today I must reiterate that all the excuses for the denial is basically unacceptable to me because I can’t imaging the saying that you have no Nanny till this present moment simply because the court said we should always meet through the nanny. I’m taking my time to see that the court’s judgement is handled without troubles, I hope the court will have to review those conditions again.
King, you are my son and the love that exits between us is immeasurable and inseparable.
This is my prayer for you:
– Nothing in this world will deprive you of your kingly entitlement, and nothing can change who you are.
– You shall not be used as a tool of envy or hate. You are a loved son of his father.

The young socialite posted a video of a real estate investment he recently started.
It was gathered that the real estate investment is located in Cocody, Abidjan, in Ivory Coast.

The police in Delta state have arrested a bereaved father for allegedly stabbing a nurse at the Sapele Central Hospital in Delta State, over what he described as the health worker’s complacency which led to the death of his one year old son.
Sahara Reporters reports that the man, whose identity wasn’t disclosed by the police, went into a rage when he received the news of the passing of his sick one year old child. He picked up a sharp object and vowed to kill the nurses, accusing them of causing his son’s death.
Sources at the hospital said the son’s health had deteriorated before he was brought to the hospital. However, the child was stabilised and admitted but the case got worse and the child died eventually.
“He first gave the nurse a headbutt and the lady fell. He beat her up and brought out an object. He attempted to stab her in the neck, but the lady dodged it and the object landed on her ear and almost cut it off.
When people raised the alarm, he rushed back to the children ward and fled with the baby’s corpse. The management of the hospital reported it to the police” the source said

A Disney actress, Nikita Pearl Waligwa died Saturday following a brain tumor, according to the Ugandan school where she was a student.
Nikita Pearl Waligwa, who appeared in the 2016 Disney film “Queen of Katwe,” was 15.
The movie tells the true story of Phiona Mutesi who went from living in Uganda’s slums to becoming an international chess star. Nikita played the main character’s friend Gloria in the film.
Nikita’s school, Gayaza High School, tweeted about her death Sunday.
“Fare thee well Nikita Pearl Waligwa. You were a darling to many and we have lost you to brain tumor at such a tender age,” the school’s tweet read. “Rest in Perfect Peace dear.”

“Her battle with a brain tumor was humbling to witness,” Oyelowo wrote. “Her light will live on.”
