Self-proclaimed alpha male, Andrew Tate, has sparked a huge controversy on social media after sharing his opinion about sex.

The online personality, in a post shared on Twitter (now X), stated that any man who has sex with a woman for pleasure is gay because sex should be for procreation alone.

According to him, sex is for making children, and any man above the age of 40 who has less than five children is probably gay.

Andrew Tate, who is known for teaching men how to be alpha males, emphasized that sex is not to ‘feel good’.

He wrote:

Nigerians have stormed the social media accounts of Nigerian singer Zinoleesky to drag him over his recent comment about music.

The artiste had earlier shared via his Instagram story a picture of his Ferrari steering while shading some songs in his caption.

His caption read; “My album coming to save y’all from all this shitty music”.

Although Zinoleesky had shared the image in a bid to promote his upcoming album it had the opposite effect as the text he attached to the image didn’t sit well with the majority.

According to some, he didn’t have the right to talk down on newly released music because he wanted to promote his album, while others noted that he is still canceled.

Recall that after the death of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, some netizens called for artists under the Marlian music record label to be canceled over their alleged involvement in the artiste’s death.

Nigerian lady, who identifies as @bellobusayo shares her parent’s reaction after she wore ripped jeans to their house, opining it was indiscipline as a Muslim lady.

Nigerian comedian and actor, Seyi Law, recently clashed with a man who accused him of leaving a club with a call girl in Abuja.

The Twitter user had taken to the microblogging platform to share a video of the married comedian with a friend at the club and alleged that they both left the club in the company of two prostitutes.

According to him, this alleged incident took place at Bustle Junction in Abuja on February 23rd, 2024, and dared Seyi Law to swear on his life that he is lying.

He stated in his tweet that they ordered him out of his car, placed handcuffs on his wrist, and refused to tell him why he had been arrested.

“I’m distraught & still in shock. Stepped out around 2 am to drop something for a friend at Orchid Road in Lekki, Some “officers” in full black holding guns double-crossed my car, ordering me to park & come down. With no questions asked, they collected my car keys and started pushing me into their small bus (korope) with no plates, took my phone from me instantly while forcing me to wear handcuffs. I kept on asking them one question throughout this ordeal, What is my offense? They successfully dragged me into the bus after yelling at me & threatening to beat me up & started driving past Lekki, one of their officers drove my car behind & I kept on requesting for my phone to inform my people of my whereabouts; all I was getting was threats & insults. After about an hour drive, I discovered we were at At a police station at Amuwo-Odofin & I recognized it ASAP because they did this same thing to me in 2020, they beat me up & detained me for no reason back then at this same place. I realized I was reliving my past trauma Eventually, they tried forcing me to write a false statement claiming I was into fraud & I refused, they kept on threatening to beat me up claiming I was being sturborn and I wasn’t released till later in the morning since midnight when my team members tracked me to that place. For how long will this go on? If not for my management, what happens to other people who have nobody to help them out? These same policemen have been doing this for over 4 years & going scot-free, I’m still in shock about my ordeal tonight.”

An Instagram influencer who identifies as @maryann_officiall has issued a warning to parents who have troublesome children in a recent video.

In the video, she was heard speaking about how she would deal with the parents of any child who would beat her children.

The mother of three was saying this following the incident that occurred at the Lead British School in Abuja.

She also added that she is currently training her children on how to defend themselves when they are been bullied.

Some part of the video captured her saying;

In the viral video, the lady noted that her husband has cultivated the habit of forgetting his wedding ring at home, revealing it was his second time.

Speaking in the video, she had called her husband to confirm he was in the office as she was ready to surprise him with his ring.

The reason she was taking the ring to his office is to remind him that he is now legally married, hence, he should be familiar with wearing his ring.

Namtira Bwala, through her legal representatives, has issued a stern warning to the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.

#JusticeforNamtira has been trending on social media since the student of British Lead International School, was bullied by her schoolmates. The ringleader of the assault, one Maryam Hassan, has since apologized for her actions.

However, in a letter drafted by her legal representatives, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira has demanded that the school immediately launch an investigation and impose the most stringent penalties outlined in the student rule book on Ms. Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students involved in her bullying.

The lawyers has made it clear that if the school fails to take action against the bullies within the stipulated 48-hour timeframe, they will pursue swift and serious legal recourse against the school.

Read the full letter below,

“We are Solicitors to Miss. Namtira Bwala (acting through her next friend), hereinafter referred to as our client, on whose instruction we act.

Our client and several other parents in Lead British International School have informed us and we verily believe them that this act of bullying is a reoccurring issue in the school, and despite several attempts to draw the school’s attention to it, the issue has persisted, leaving our client traumatised from the emotional and physical effect of the oppressive acts by these dare devil bullies.

Regrettably, our client has once again, been subjected to physical attacks in the hands of these bullies, with the video of the act going viral on social media.

Sadly, rather than address this issue head-on by imposing severe sanctions on the student bullies, the school has issued a timid statement lacking in force or recognition of the severity of the situation at hand.

Our client completely dissociate herself from the statement issued by the school on April 22, 2024 wherein a case of battery was unconscionably referred to as an “incident between minors.

We state that it is this type of statements, coupled with the school’s gross negligence, that has enabled the student bullies, leading to increased incidents of unchecked bullying in the school, an environment that should ordinarily be a safe space for students.

Sequel to the foregoing, we have our client’s instruction to demand for the immediate investigation and the pronouncement of the stiffest possible sanctions in the student’s rule book, on Ms. Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya and nine other students who have formed a cult of bullies in Lead British International School, Gwarimpa, Abuja.

Please note that if the school fails to sanction the student bullies within 48 hours of the receipt of this letter, we have our client’s further instruction to seek an immediate and severe legal redress against Lead British International School, Gwarimpa, without further recourse to you.””

Popular Nigerian comedian Bovi has reacted to the news of the student bullied by her peers in Lead British School.

Taking to his Instagram page, in a lengthy post he shared that the victim’s aunt shouldn’t have slapped the bully when she saw her.

Recall that the Minister for Women Affairs alongside other individuals has reported to the school to have a meeting with the concerned parties.

Bovi’s post read;

“It gives me great joy to know that we still have well raised children in Nigeria. Children who are soft meek and civil. Children who under the deadliest of provocation still keep their calm. Though the girl in question may have been afraid, she didn’t coil, she didn’t whimper. She didn’t beg. I admire her.

However it is left for the authorities to magnify this abuse and deal with it decisively. It should serve as a warning to orders.

Also of importance is the need for the bullied girl to go through some counseling so that every impending trauma is squashed before it develops. As id always say, we can only give what we were given. This is how monsters are created. No child was born violent.

Lastly, I saw the video of the relative who slapped the bully. She acted in fury, but by the definition of law, she acted in retaliation. While I understand the outrage and her anger, let’s not forget that these are the issues. Slapping somebody across the face is a no no. Nothing civil about it. We must start to preach this across board and we must emphasize the criminality of jungle justice.”
