After a long day of working on their Task and welcoming the two new additions to the Gang, the Pepper Dem Gang decided to loosen up with a game of Truth or Dare.
Venita and Elozonam were a good sport as they actively took part in the game endearing themselves to their fellow Housemates.
A game that revealed a few truths and some exciting dares were what the Housemates needed to bring out their fun sides and give them their much deserved smiles and stomach felt laughter.

Omashola who didn’t hide his affection for Venita right from the moment he set his eyes on her had the gods of kisses smile on him during the game. Venita was dared to give a kiss and guess who got a mouth full of lips on the first night? Omashola. Talk about a great way to end the day.

Although reluctant to tell the truth and opting for a drink at first; Diane went from being the naïve Housemate to becoming the eager beaver willing to participate in exciting dares. A dare saw her attempting to reach for Sir Dee’s male organ and another had Jackye removing her underwear. The final Dare saw her sucking on Seyi’s chest region. Does someone seem to have taken her “Got Milk?” quest a bit too far?
Picking Up Where Tuoyo Left Off?
Ever since Tuoyo left, Frodd has taken up the mantle of the Pepper Dem resident stripper. Back to back dares have seen him stripping for the rest of the Housemates. This dare had him not only stripping but also twerking for his fellow Housemates.
Not entirely sure how the rest of their days together might go as the Housemates made the best of the night. Who knows if they’d make one happy family or end up being at each other’s necks.

A Nigerian photographer took a walk down memory lane and remembered waking up to a hospital bill of $245k (N88m) after 7 days in coma at a hospital in the United States.
Though grateful for life, @dollycent revealed that he was in coma after he drowned in 2011. He tweeted;
“On this exact day in 2011, I got drowned. And after 5 days in an unconscious state, 7 days in ICU. I miraculously woke up to a $245k medical bill. Thank God I survived”

july 21st 2011,had a second messsge from another friend that he also dreamt i died.then i knew it was something to pray about.
july 23rd..days after these revelations..the unusal happend.my heart literarily stopped on the field after just 5mins playing soccer.
july 26th.was in church to give thanks to God as i tought that was the victory over death…perhaps not!
The the real story started 3 days later..after my summer school.all i do was try to write my books,watch movies,play video games and do all sort to enjoy the 3weeks break i have before school starts again.
then came friday the 29th…a day i will forever remember for the rest of my life…was on my computer at about 6pm when a friend came and asked to help with taking his sister to school in University of California Davis but then i live some 50miles away,since i was bored i agreed to go with him.then we left,his sister,Myself and another friend Pancras.we got to Davis at 7pm.but while driving another friend had called to say we shld hit the club that night in Davis since we all doing nothing.and yes we agreed..for me its been over 2 months since i last went to the club so i guess that was a perfect timing to kick start my break.
At 8pm we left to eat at subways.at 10pm we left subways taking a 15 minutes walk back to the hostel where we had dropped the girl off.we had barely walked for 10minutes when we saw this gathering of people at the community pool..so cool we decided to check it out.that apparently would have been my last party!
we agreed to cancel our clubbing for that night and just chill out at the pool party.then at 10:20pm..i had my 1st plunge in the water came out 15mins later.walked around then took my suposedly final plunge at about 10:45pm but little did i know that i was at the 15ft end!..was so stupid not to have read the signs.i’m not a good swimmer so as soon as i jumped in i knew in my head,Dolapo this is it!.i was struggling to get out but i had already hit the bottom.i took splits seconds to say my last prayers and then say a sorry to my mum before i eventually blanked out.
When i opend my eyes i had myself in the ambulance…looked at the time it was 11:06pm the paramedics were trying to talk to me.could hear them but i wasn’t able to move even a limb.i remember when i got to the hospital the doctor had me taken to the EEG(ElectroEncephaloGram) scanner to have them scan my head to see if there was any damage.As soon i i was taken out that was when i went unconcious.
The next time i woke up was about 7:06am on wednesday.that is some whooping 104hrs!.i missd alot in those 4days.the most notable was a match i had looked foward to between manchester united and barcelona!. i ended up watching the highlight almost a week after!.smh.
waking up was hell because i had this two huge medical hose down my throath(see the picture accompanying this post).one running to my stomach nd the other to my lungs.i wrote on a paper asking the nurse twice to get it off me but she kept lieing and asking me to wait few more minutes.i watch her take a walk then i took it off myself!and yes that was a dangerous thing to do!.was so neuseatic that i kept throwin up the remaining chlorinanted liquid i had taken a fatal dose of from the pool.
I wasn’t allowed to eat anything till the next day and the nurse kept tellin me i was so lucky to be for that long in intensive care and still pull through.trust me life in the ICU aint fun.i had all sort of syringes,wires and always taking injections in all part,the most scary was on my stomach..geez!.
i had my first meal in 6days on thursday at 9am.was sooo hungry that i ate the donut and milk as though it was my last supper!.left the ICU that evening to the regular ward..and was dischardged 4pm on friday the 5th of august 2011.
A whole week in ICU hmmm…but then i give Glory to God!
I will like to specially thank those who came to see me at the hospital,i know i gave u guys a scare lol and all those that sent me messages.what i learnt in those 6 days was that in the real battle of life…death is constantly a challenge.and we all have a shot at it..rarely will you see people have more than one shot.i was just lucky to be given a second chance!.we just have to live a good life.it’s a freakin thin line between life and death!
as i recuperate from the after shocks because i think am so hydrophobic now that each time i see a glassfull of water i tend to wanna run!.lol..and with about a quater of a million dollars charged by the hospital it was a huge price to pay!.but then also God shew himself strong and i did not have to pay a single penny.
i promise however to live my second life better and appreciate life some more!

A 43-year-old lady, Kelly Hope, has donated one of her kidneys to her ex husband, Dan Pyatt, five years after their divorce.
According to Mirror U.K, as Pyatt laid in the hospital, with his kidneys failing and no donor after 12 months on the waiting list, she told him: “I’m going to get tested for a transplant.”

The North-Central Chairman of the Christain Association of Nigeria (CAN), has stated that God will restore COZA Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo even if he is found guilty of the rape allegation against him by Busola Dakolo.
The CAN Chairman backed his claim of the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) being restored by God with the Biblical account of the condemned thief pardoned by Jesus Christ at the Cross of Calvary.
The Pastor said while preaching to his members at the First Baptist Church in Garki area of Abuja;
“I still pray for that pastor (Fatoyinbo). I am not sure he erred; I have no right to judge because I don’t know whether the accusations against him are true or false. It has yet to be determined but even if it is true, I still pray that God will restore him fully to the work of the ministry.
“Individuals locked up by the EFCC who are seen to be the worst people on the face of the earth… we pray for them. And that church, we needed to go and speak and pray with them because of what they were passing through and that is what we did.
“Now, people may have different opinions but I hold the bible as the pastor, First Baptist Church, Garki, Abuja. I have no regret that I went to that church (COZA). I didn’t go there to endorse evil but I wanted to say that even if you are the worst sinner, Jesus Christ still has a place for you.”
He said critics should always ask, “What will Jesus do?” before making judgments.

Big Brother has introduced two new housemates to the Pepper Dem House, Actress, Venita Akpofure and Actor & Instagram Comedian, Elozonam.
The #BBNaijaTwist is set to shake the House up with the entrant of two new Housemates. Venita and Elozonam are the latest additions to the Pepper Dem Gang.
Venita, 32, is a new Housemate to make her way into the House. The actress from Delta describes her personality as big and promises to bring a blend of confusion, fun, heat and drama to the Pepper Dem House.
Elozonam is the second Housemate and he describes himself as very goofy and playful and plans to bring that side of him to the House.

One of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija House, Mercy, while having a conversation with Diane talked about her Spiritual life, as well as her love for fashion which she said makes her happy.
Mercy, 26, claimed to have the gift of seeing visions and having dreams that come to pass.
Though Mercy disclosed that she stopped telling people about her dreams and vision over fear of being labeled a witch, she also prepended plans to give her life to Christ and maybe become a pastor some day.
“When I dress, I dress for different occasions. I dress to slay, I’m a fashion person; not just the small things you see here. I have official wears, dresses for church, and social outings. I don’t care about what anyone says about my dressing because I dress to be happy. Like, I can’t wear jeans nor a tight jump-suit to church.
“I may be a pastor someday.” she continued.
“I feel I have a calling. When I was little, I use to see visions and my dreams did come to pass. At some points, I stopped telling my dreams and visions to people so that they don’t label me a witch. I’ll give my life to Christ,” she told Diane.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 botched an attempt by a suspected internet fraudster to flush his phone through a water closet in order to deny access to potentially incriminating data about him.
The 20-year-old suspect, Fisayo Falade, was among the 15 young men arrested in Ibadan on Tuesday for internet-related crimes when the Commission’s operatives conducted a raid on two locations in the ancient city.
Ten of the suspects were arrested at Akatanpa Powerline, while the other five were nabbed at Kushenla area of the Oyo State capital.
Ranging between the ages of 20 and 28 years, the suspects were allegedly hiding behind fake names and identities to perpetrate fraud, dispossessing their unsuspecting victims of their hard-earned money.
Their alleged involvement in internet-related frauds were reported to the Commission by members of their neighbourhood who noticed their expensive ways of life even though they are supposedly undergraduates, and without any known source of income.
Items recovered from them include two exotic cars, laptops, mobile phones and several documents containing false pretences.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi has been rushed to a hospital in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The actress, who is in Saudi Arabia to perform hajj, fell ill due to the stress associated with the hajj exercise.
According to ‘The Nation’ reporter in Saudi Arabia, he had observed that Afolabi has been showing symptoms of illness while in Madinah. She was seen sleeping in the bus during Ziyara (visitation to historical sites). While Afolabi joined the other pilgrims to some of the sites, at other sites, she sat in the bus.
It was learnt that the eight hour drive from Madinah to Makkah last Tuesday took a toll on her. Afolabi told The Nation that she slept in the Makkan Holy Mosque (Masjid Haram) after the Umrah exercise to engage in some other acts of worship.
According to a medical practitioner attached to the Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSMPWB), Dr Abideen Aro, Afolabi had symptoms such as fever, headache, loss of appetite and weakness. Dr Aro, who works at Lagos State Accident and Emergency Centre, said: “We have warned the pilgrims before leaving Nigeria to use anti-malarial drugs as prophylaxis. But unfortunately, in her case, she didn’t use the drug due to oversight.
“After noticing those symptoms, I alerted the Head of Lagos State Medical Team, Dr Muhammad Isa, who made an arrangement for an ambulance. I and Nurse Zaynab Sarumi from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital(LASUTH) accompanied her in an ambulance to the Nigeria Hajj Commission (NAHCON) Clinic where an assessment of malaria fever was made and she was placed on Intra-Muscular Injections for three days on an out-patient basis.”
Amirul Hajj Dr AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef went to visit her with some clerics. Dr AbdulLateef assured Afolabi of adequate care and offered a prayer for her.
“Before we left Lagos, the directive of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to us is to ensure the proper welfare of the pilgrims. It is normal for someone coming for hajj exercise for the first time to experience this kind of thing due to the rigours of the exercise.
Part of our orientation before leaving Lagos was too sensitive the pilgrims on things to expect in Saudi Arabia. I have directed the Head of the Medical Team to see her and other pilgrims down with an illness. I pray to Allah to grant them quick recovery before the main hajj rites commence” Dr AbdulLateef said.
Police on Monday night shot dead two suspected robbers in Kilimani area after they robbed a Nigerian national
The victim, Taiwo Gbenga, reported to Kileleshwa Police Station that he had been robbed by four armed men who sped off in a white saloon car registration number KCE 567 B.
He told the officers that he was walking along Makueni road, within Kileleshwa area, when he was accosted before being robbed of two mobile phones, iPhone X max, Samsung Galaxy S8, a wallet containing his bank cards, driving license, alien card, special pass clearance, a wedding ring valued at Sh25,000 and a wrist watch.
Police say officers from Kileleshwa and Special Crime Prevention Unit (SCPU) were dispatched and combed the area and managed to spot the said motor vehicle along Nyando road.
A shootout ensued and two suspects were shot as their accomplices escaped with injuries.
Police managed to recover the motor vehicle, a Toyota Axio registration number KCE 567 B, whose number plates did not match those on the windows and insurance sticker.
Also recovered were a shot gun, an imitation of a pistol, two mobile phones, a claw bar, four master keys and seven bunches of keys, a gunny bag and a wrist watch.
The two bodies were taken to City morgue for identification.

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels’ brothers, Lawrence Daniels and Samuel Ojeogwuhave been arrested and imprisoned in Lekki, Lagos.
Lawrence Daniels, 28, who has been arrested multiple times, was apprehended with his brother, Samuel, popularly known as Sammy, in Jakande Lagos.
A Twitter campaign is currently going on as students of LASU demand the release of Lawrence, who is a LASU student, with the hashtag #FreeLawrence.
According to online reports, the brothers were arrested last Friday, July 26, 2019. They were reportedly in an Uber and the vehicle developed a fault around the Jakande area of Lekki. They got down so the Uber driver could repair his vehicle and, in the process, they allegedly noticed an incident going on between an injured Okada rider and some policemen who were bent on seizing his bike.
Lawrence and Sammy allegedly confronted the policemen and asked that they take the bike rider to the hospital rather than harass him. The officers allegedly took offence and arrested both brothers and the Uber driver and took them to the Jakande police station
They were allegedly tried immediately in a magistrate court sitting in Igbosere and were sent to Ikoyi prison where they have been since Friday.
The Uber driver was later set free but Lawrence and Sammy are still in custody.

A Nigerian jailed in India has been busted for running an interstate drug racket from inside the Kapurthala Prison in Punjab.
The Nigerian simply identified as Victor was busted after India’s Counter Intelligence Wing Jalandhar arrested two smugglers with links to him, both the Times of India and tehelka.com reported. The cops recovered one kilogram of heroin from the smugglers identified as Gurvinder Singh of village Noorpur Hakima in Moga district and his associate Ranjit Singh of Mehatpur in Jalandhar district.
AIG Counter Intelligence, Jalandhar, chief Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh said that they received a tip off that Gurvinder Singh, who has links with Nigerian Delhi-based smugglers, was smuggling a big Heroin consignment in a Tata Sumo along with his associate Ranjit Singh.
“Preliminary investigation of the arrested accused revealed that both were involved in drug smuggling from the past few years. They are already facing cases and were lodged in jails for these cases”, said the AIG.
In jails, they met Nigerian Delhi-based smugglers before contacting Victor, in Kapurthala jail via mobile phone and started trafficking Heroin from Delhi to Punjab, at his behest. The arrested smugglers had never met Victor before and were not in Kaputharla Prison with him. They linked up by phone, reports said.
Victor was arrested in March this year with 2.5kg of heroin Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh said a separate case has been registered against Victor under The Prisons Act, 1894 as two mobile phones and one SIM card were also recovered from him. A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 has been registered against the arrested smugglers at Sultanpur Lodhi Police station.
Gurwinder had come out of jail on bail in April this year, and his associate Ranjit got bail in December 2018.

Hours before Sunday’s eviction, Seyi was caught on camera swearing at fellow housemate, Thelma, following a disagreement.
The drama started when Seyi casually walked up to Thelma and then farted. Thelma frowned at that action and angrily lashed out at him.
Later on, in a conversation with Ike and Mercy, Seyi who was under the influnce, expressed his anger in a lengthy rant.
His words ;
“There was a day she disrespected me because of apple and tangerine. Did anyone hear about that? I ain’t a kid. I tried my best to treat everybody equally somebody think they can call me, Emi Oluwaseyi Awolowo, 1st of his name will disrespect me. Because she can shake her nyash.
“Koni dafun, her prosperity has gone as far as I am concerned. She should pray to God because I, I put my two left feet on the floor and I will say that her prosperity is in the hands of whoever she believes in.
“That her brother that went, he has gone with what she has been looking for. Until she realizes sense before it will come back again. How will someone that is not speaking to you will be insulting you in your presence, the person will not say anything and you’ll come back and call the person rubbish? Bull sh3t.”

Two internet fraudsters identified as Samuel Magaaji and Balogun Olasunkanmi have been handed a 6 months jail sentence, after being arraigned before Justice Mahmood Abdulgafar of Kwara State High Court on separate one-count charge.
The suspects were sentenced to prison without an option of fine and they were also ordered to forfeit all the phones and items recovered from them to the Federal Government. The statement from the EFCC reads;
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Office on July 26, 2019 secured the conviction of Samuel Magaaji and Balogun Olasunkanmi charged for offences bordering on internet fraud.
They were arraigned before Justice Mahmood Abdulgafar of a Kwara State High Court, sitting in Ilorin, on separate one-count charge.
The charge against Samuel reads: “That you, Samuel Emmanuel Magaaji (aka Lillian Nora) sometime in May 2019 at Ilorin, within the judicial division of the High Court, while acting as Lillian Nora a white Caucasian lady, with gmail account [email protected] did attempt to cheat by fraudulently inducing one Mike Dewey in delivering to you the sum of $500 (Five Hundred Dollars) under the guise of being in a romantic relationship with him and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 95 of the Penal Code and punishable under section 322 of the Penal Code.”
The charge against Balogun reads: “That you, Balogun Ibrahim Olasunkanmi (alias Brenda Jones) sometime in July 2019 at Ilorin, within the judicial division of the High Court, while acting as Brenda Jones, a white Caucasian lady, with gmail account [email protected] did attempt to cheat by fraudulently inducing one Dele Ferguson in delivering to you the sum of $250 (Two Hundred and Fifty US Dollars) under the guise of being in a relationship with him and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 95 of the Penal Code and punishable under Section 322 of the Penal Code.”
They pleaded “guilty” to the charge.
Justice Abdulgafar convicted them and sentenced them to six months in prison to take effect from July 15, 2019 without an option of fine. They were also ordered to forfeit all the phones and items recovered from them to the Federal Government.
