Popular Nigerian rapper, Yung6ix was on Sunday evening, attacked by some hoodlums in Lagos.
According to reports, the incident took place along the Alpha Beach Road in Lekki, Lagos. It was gathered that the rapper was waylaid and one of his chains was stolen.
His ear-ring was also yanked off, leaving his earlobe badly injured. The attackers also proceeded to damage his car.
The rapper in a subtle reaction to the incident wrote on Instagram, ‘all I wanted to do was show love’.
Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Kehinde Bamigbetan escaped death by the whiskers as his vehicle was involved in an auto-crash.
Bamigbetan’s SUV rammed into an armoured carrier as his driver dozed off while on high speed on their way from the farm.
According to Bamigbetan on his Facebook wall, “His mercy endures forever. The driver drove into an armoured carrier on our way from the farm. I was taking a nap in the rear seat. “The impact flung me at the windscreen. He dozed off on speed. But our Creator was in charge. He saved us from the calamity. To God be the glory.”

A report by Sunnewsonline shares the shocking stories of some married Abuja based men who are ardent patronizers of prostitutes in the Federal Capital.

Budding Nigerian rappers, Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile, who were arrested on Friday morning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in connection with alleged cases of internet fraud and money laundering are still in detention.
The EFCC’s acting Head, Media and Publicity, Tony Orilade, in an interview with Punch confirmed that the artistes have still not been released. Orilade said, “They are still with us as we are talking.”
Asked if the singers would spend the weekend in custody, he said, “they are still with us. When they are released, I will let you know”.

A beautiful Nigerian lady identified as Ozioma Ilawe Ize-omoregie against all odds has married the love of her life, after she survived a fatal accident just a few days to her wedding.
According to reports, Ozioma who was returning from Abuja to Port Harcourt via road, goat involved in a ghastly motor accident, as the vehicle she boarded collided with another in Kogi state, an accident that claimed the lives of many other occupants. The bride-to-be was rushed to a near-by hospital were she recovered.

Popular Nigerian Musicians, Afeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael aka Zlatan Ibile, Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode aka Rahman Jago and two others will be charged to court for their alleged links to cyber crime, EFCC has revealed.
The trio, alongside two others, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa, were arrested in the early hours of Friday, at 9, Gbangbola Street, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
However, giving an update on their situation, today, a top source within EFCC, told SaharaReporters that the agency has plans to use information volunteered by the suspects to charge them to court. And that, until then, they will remain in detention.

The creators of the hit show, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are making plans on how to handle global reactions to the series finale.
In a chat with Entertainment Weekly, Benioff and Weiss said they will be avoiding the inevitable backlash when the final episode airs and they plan to stay far away from the internet and will be drowning themselves in bottles of alcohol.
Weiss in the interview said,
“We’ll be in an undisclosed location, turning off our phones and opening various bottles. At some point, if and when it’s safe to come out again, somebody like [HBO’s ‘Thrones’ publicist Mara Mikialian] will give us a breakdown of what was out there without us having to actually experience it.”
Benioff added,

Speaking further about the ending of “Game of Thrones”, Weiss said,

Good News!! A man who was declared missing in the University of Benin Teaching Hospital has been found.
Mr Chris Ochukenyi who was declared missing on Thursday May 9 2019, while admitted at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) has been found.
According to a family source, Ochukenyi who has been diagnosed with partial stroke and Alzheimer’s disease, was found in Siloko Road Benin City, Edo State, by one of his neighours.
“Free Zlatan abeg, Make Una free Zlatan for me”, were the words of Seyi, Zlatan Ibile’s girlfriend.
Seyi was spoted in a recent video begging the commission to release her boyfriend, while being unbothered about the four others who were arrested alongside him.

The Nigerian singer was on Friday, 10th May, 2019, arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for suspected involvement in internet fraud.
The EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, arrested Afeez Fashola (aka Naira Marley) and Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael (aka Zlatan), in connection with alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering. Intelligence report had also linked them to cybercrime offences.
They were arrested along with: Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa.
Their arrest followed an early morning raid on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 9, Gbangbola Street, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
According to the agency, they have so far volunteered useful information about their involvement in the alleged criminal activities, even as investigations continue.
A man has been jailed for brutally beating his wife three days after she gave birth before assaulting her 13-year-old daughter
Gary Peoples, 40, punched Kerry Armstrong in the face and kicked her in the head, leaving her with severe bruising and swelling. As he hit her, Kelly crouched over her newborn daughter to protect her.
During the court hearing, a barrister for the Public Prosecution Service told Judge McCaffrey that three days after the birth of their daughter, Ms Armstrong and Peoples had an argument in the bedroom of their flat.
Ms Armstrong had her newborn baby daughter in her arms but this didn’t stop the attack. Peoples punched her on the face and after she fell to the floor he then kicked her to the head. She crouched over the baby in order to protect her during the assault.
When her 13-year-old daughter came into the bedroom, Peoples grabbed her and pushed her up against the wall.
The prosecutor said Peoples initially prevented his wife from leaving their home but she eventually got out of the front door and drove to her mother’s home from where her brother reported the assaults to the police. Peoples was then arrested.
In court, Gary Peoples admitted assaulting his wife, as well as his step-daughter in the same incident on October 2 2017. A defence barrister said People accepted it was a terrible way for him to have behaved towards his wife so soon after she’d given birth to their daughter.
After her husband was jailed for 20 months by Judge Elizabeth McCaffrey at the Crown Court in Derry, Ms Armstrong said she was glad the judicial system had worked for her. She advised women suffering abuse to seek help and not remain silent.

One of the most popular film producers in Nollywood, Henry Okoro aka HPmedia30, has tragically lost his life, following a fatal auto crash that left two of his friends currently battling for their lives.
The accident happened in the early hours of Thursday, May 9, 2019, at the Jubilee Bridge in #Ajah, Lagos State. .
According to an inside source, Okoro was returning from a late night party with his friends when he crashed his car into the bridge. The other two occupants of the car are currently hospitalized.
