A pregnant woman and her two children lost their lives in a late night fire outbreak in Bosso Anguwan Biri, Minna, Niger State on Sunday.
Usman Mustapha, the husband and father of these lost lives, disclosed in tears that his family – wife, and two children, one boy and one girl – died in a fire outbreak at their home.
All three family members were burnt beyond recognition after an electric fault in the area caused a fire outbreak.

A Nigerian man Onyedika Ifeanyi Francis surprised his girlfriend, Blessing Onye with a poposal cum engagement party at the hospital.
Blessing has been a patient in the hospital since 2016 after she survived a fatal accident affected her leg and right hand, resulting to some implantations. One person reportedly died in the same accident.
The proposal happened last year September but they decided to share their story just recently.

What is what saying is worth saying well Flashback to 2016, she experienced this fatal accident which affected her leg and right hand, resulting to some implantations(at both places) 2018 was time for the removal of those implantations. The experience of having her leg and hand cut open again , the pains, the fears of walking and time it takes to heal. I suggested i host a “quick recovery party”, my reasons to her were numerous – To ease off the pains – Give her beautiful memories and pictures even in a hospital. – Have beautiful pictures even at the hospital to thank God for. -To mark the last time she will visit the hospital. Because the idea was coming from me she couldn’t object. On September 9 I bought the materials, invited our mutual friends and her family to help me out. Right before her, we ( Chiamaka and others them) cut in pieces carbon papers, ribons, different colours of balon. She liked the feeling, the preparation alone caused her recuperation. She felt loved. An inquest into the tragic death of Argentinian football player, Emiliano Sala has shown that he died from “head and trunk” injuries when the plane he was travelling on crashed in the English Channel.
The 28-year-old striker was travelling from Nantes, France to Wales to join his new teammates at Cardiff City, after signing a $29 million deal with his new club.
Sala’s body was recovered from the seabed wreckage last week after he disappeared on January 22 with his pilot David Ibbotson on board. Sala had to be identified by his fingerprints after his body pulled out from the wreckage of the Piper Malibu aircraft.
“Mr Sala was identified on the 7th February by means of fingerprint evidence analyses by fingerprint expert Christopher Bradbury,” Ian Parry, a senior coroner’s officer for Dorset, said.
“A post mortem was carried out after the body was taken to Holly Tree Lodge mortuary.
“Home office pathologist Mr Purdue gave the cause of death as head and trunk injuries.”
The inquest was adjourned until November 6 for a pre-inquest review.
An interim report is set to be released within a fortnight, although a full report by the Air Accident Investigation Branch will not be published for at least six months, The Sun reported.

Yesterday, Burna Boy shared a nine seconds video of a “loved up scene” with the British rapper.
The video showed Stefflon Don lying on Burna Boy‘s body while the “Ye” singer filmed the moment. It appears Stefflon Don was sleeping when the event took place.

Ghanaian singer, Sista Afia has said she sees nothing wrong in wearing seductive dresses as an entertainer. She made this statement in response to Akosua Agypong who slammed female celebrities who wear clothes that reveal too much flesh. According to her, their managers are to blame.

Rapper and Grammy award winner, Cardi B has spoken out following the controversies that trailed her Grammy win on Sunday.
The 26-year-old edged out Mac Miller, Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T, Travis Scott to win Rap Album of the Year, making her the first female solo artist to win the category since the inception of the Grammy.
Her Grammy win led to arguments online, with some saying someone else in the category deserved it better than her – some even went as far as comparing her with Nicki Minaj.
The Bodak Yellow rapper has now reacted to the controversy to reveal why she deserves it and all the work she put in.

A 27-year-old former aspirant for Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat, has put up one of his testicles for sale for Sh500,000.
Ian-Harriel Kowiti, who hails from Uriri Constituency in Migori County, says he’s tired of living in squalor and poverty, and has opted to raise cash by selling one of his testicles.
Kowiti, who tried his hands in politics in the last General Election as an independent candidate, is also willing to part with one of his kidneys for Sh1.5 million for ‘a local client,’ and three times that amount for ‘client’ based outside the country.
“What is the need of having two of them (testicles) dangling between my legs if I can still do the job perfectly with just one?” Kowiti posed in an interview with The Nairobian.
“Imagine that there is someone out there who can’t have a child for one reason or another. I just want to share what I have, for a little profit of course! I’m tired of being broke, yet I don’t need two testicles!” Kowiti said.
Kowiti says that he’s selling his testicles to better his life. However, he explains that money is not the motivation for selling his kidney.
“A doctor friend confirmed to me that you can lead a healthy and fulfilling life with just one kidney. It pains me that there is someone out there who is suffering because of kidney failure and has to spend so much money on dialysis. I have two functioning kidneys, and I consider it the right thing to do to give out one,” he explained.
Kowiti added that, “I wouldn’t mind donating my kidney, it’s only that I am now financially constrained and wouldn’t mind some cash in exchange for the organ. If I were to donate my kidney, the interested party would have to cater for the cost of surgery and my travel expenses, that is if the operation has to take place outside the country.”
Though a man can still lead a healthy sex life with one testicle, medics have dismissed the idea of harvesting testicles.
A 36-year-old Nigerian man was arrested by the Narcotics Intelligence Bureau CID in Chennai, India on Sunday, February 10, for allegedly supplying heroin and ecstasy tablets to the resorts, pubs and hotels along the East Coast Road (ECR).
According Deccan Chronicle, the suspect identified as Ikechukwu had come to India on a business visa in the garb of carrying out a garments business three years ago.
Officers said Ikechukwu had come to India in 2015 and his visa had already expired. He migrated for a short period to Tirupur, where he was engaged in the T-shirts exports business along with a few other Nigerian friends.
Last year, Ikechukwu allegedly came to Chennai and was involved in drug peddling, targeting college students and IT workers, who partied at the resorts and pubs along the ECR and also used them to expand his business.
Meanwhile, on Sunday based on a specific tip-off, the sleuths arrested Ikechukwu from a resort at Neelankarai and seized ten grams of heroin and 100 grams of ketamine worth Rs 6 lakhs from him.
NIB-CID sleuths registered a case and arrested the Nigerian under Section 14 of Foreigners Act apart from the possession of drugs under Sections 8 (c) read with 22 (b) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

The Edo Police command has paraded suspects arrested for stripping a 24-year-old lady and rubbing pepper into her private part after accusing her of stealing a phone (iPhone X plus) in Benin, the state capital.
The suspects including the man who inserted the pepper into the girl’s privates, were paraded alongside a native doctor who was involved in the criminal act.
According to Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, President of League of Patriotic Lawyers, the victim did not steal any phone. “She refused the sexual overtures of the kingpin, who orchestrated the aforesaid missing phone and with the aid of a native doctor, he became the accuser and enforcer in chief of that sordid show of shame,” he said.
A video which went viral online, shows how the men stripped the victim and inserted pepper into her private part, claiming that she stole the phone.
The victim was taken to Lafun Hotel located in the state. The hotel is alleged to be owned by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress. The victim had lodged at the hotel on Sunday night with a man when the controversial phone at the centre of the entire problem got missing.
The victim was said to have been compelled to undergo strange mystic oath taking, at the end of which no result came of the entire drama. But not convinced about the whole issue, the owner of the phone and others dragged the girl to a corner where they carried out the despicable act of inserting pepper into her private parts with a view to forcing her to confess to stealing the phone.
The six suspects arrested so far in connection with the case are Otoghile Joel, owner of the phone alleged to have been stolen by the young woman; Lucky Igbinovia alias ‘One Man Squad’ in whose house the young woman was tortured; Edobor Osemwengie, manager of Lafun Hotel; Kingsley Iyamu,; Gregg Eweka and Friday Omorogbe.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress national party chairman were on Monday attacked at the party’s rally held in Abeokuta.
The President was stoned with materials suspected to be shoes and stones.
As a result of the violence, activities at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, was paused for some minutes.
President Buhari was shielded by his security agents who blocked his front to avoid being hit by the objects being thrown at him and other party members.
The development angered the leaders of the party, including former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, who left the podium while the President was making his remarks.
The family of the abducted Leah Sharibu has appealed to the federal government and the international community to rescue their daughter, Channels Television reports.
15-year-old Leah Sharibu was among the Dapchi school girls who were abducted in February 2018. A representative of the family asked the government, Nigerians and the international community to not forget Leah.
“We’ve decided to call for this press briefing to ask everybody to please not forget Leah,” the representative said.
In a few days, Leah Sharibu would have spent one year in captivity if she’s not released by her kidnappers, Boko Haram.
Leah is the only schoolgirl in captivity as the others have been released, and unfortunately, some of them had died before the government could secure their release.
Leah is still in captivity for refusing to denounce her Christian faith.

On Sunday, President Buhari vowed that the forthcoming 2019 presidential election would be the last he would contest.
Speaking at a meeting with the royal fathers in the Government House, Buhari promised not to abuse the constitution, noting that he would stop contesting after this coming election.
He said the 2019 election would be the fifth time he is contesting for Presidency after he ran for the office of the president under All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP), in 2003 and 2007 and failed.
He changed to Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), in 2011 and equally failed. But in 2015 when he changed to APC, he won and took the mantle of leadership from Ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the president charged traditional rulers to do more in curbing banditry and kidnapping in their communities, saying that he felt disappointed that people close to some of them were found to have a hand in such criminality.
His words, “We are determined to defend the nation and its people. We are disappointed with some of the things going on. You are responsible for the security of your neighborhood. Being close to your people, you know them. You are still relevant. I am sorry this has extended to some of your families.
President Buhari said he was contesting this election as his fifth and the last, because as he noted, “a second term is what the constitution allows, and I will not abuse the constitution.”

The owner of an illegal orphanage, Godswill Ophanage, at Ekpan, Warri, Delta State identified as Juliet Phillips, has been arrested for allegedly stealing and selling a 2-year-old boy to a pastor in Edo State.
According to a report by Dailypost, Juliet was arrested alongside her mother and one Collins Ogbor who is a retired director in the Community Development Department of the Ministry of Women Affairs in Delta State.
The prime suspect, Juliet, allegedly stole Testimony, from his mentally unstable mother, on November 28, 2018, and took him to Deliverance Orphanage operated by her mother in Ozoro.
From there, he was sold to a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, in Edo State, at the rate of N900,000. The cleric thereafter renamed him Favour.
While confirming the report, the Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, revealed that Juliet also allegedly stole three children from Ekpan Primary School in 2017.
Operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested eight suspected internet fraudsters at the Elebu-Oja area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The suspects include: Ojo Ayobami, Dayo Adedokun, Ojo Ayotunde, Ibidapo Ileriayo, Ibidapo Kolade, Adeniyi Gbenga, Aluko Idowu and Adeusi Olatunji.
They were rounded up on February 8, 2019 following action on a series of intelligence reports.
They are alleged to be involved in fraudulent activities ranging from love scam and other forms of internet fraud, through which they obtain money from unsuspecting victims.

Diezani is wanted in Nigeria for questioning on alleged fraudulent acts she allegedly perpetrated while in office.
A father of three identified as, Clement Nwachukwu, has been arrested by the police for raping two under age girls in Niger state.
The 35-year-old suspect is alleged to have raped the girls aged 7 and 8 after luring them with N50 each.
According to New Telegraph, Clement Nwachukwu lured the victims to an uncompleted building where he raped them. Upon interrogation, Clement said he gets aroused whenever he see underaged girls. He said
“Whenever I see underage girls in my area, I get aroused and lose control of myself. I don’t know what has come over me, that each time I see little girls in my area; I will be forced by what I don’t know to have sex with them, not minding that I am a father of three. That is too bad. I have been in this act for more than four years and it looks as if somebody has placed a curse on me. Nothing works for me, and sometimes I feel I have sinned against my destiny. It is unfortunate.
After defiling these innocent minors, I asked myself what if my wife catches me or hears about my evil deeds. I feel very bad about my act. I am finished and I know my wife will never forgive me. Right now, I am finished.”
The police say Clement will be charged to court soon.
Last night, Nigerian Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti didn’t perform at the 61st Grammy Awards as earlier announced.
He also lost in his first attempt to win a Grammy award after being nominated in the best world music album category but lost to South Africa’s ‘Soweto Gospel Choir‘,
Explaining why he was unable to perform on the biggest music awards stage, Seun Kuti wrote,
‘first and foremost I have to say I am sorry to all the fans that tuned in to see us perform yesterday but didn’t. I had the weirdest ticket mix up in history meaning I missed my flight and the rehearsals and we couldn’t go on.
