NYSC member serving in Lagos goes missing (photos)
A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC who is serving in Lagos state has been reported missing since Christmas eve.
According to his cousin who made a public appeal on twitter, Imam who resides in Yaba, went missing since December 24th 2018.

Young woman born with facial deformity writes as she welcomes a beautiful baby girl
A young lady, Asia Mekole, born with the same genetic facial deformity with her sister, India Janee and their mother, gave birth to a beautiful baby in 2018.
Asia shared photos of her beautiful newborn baby girl her partner on Instagram. She wrote:
“Before 2018 end, I just wanna say a lot can happen within a year… I gave birth (which a lot of people don’t believe this little girl is mine when I was 38 weeks! This has to be by far the best Christmas gift God Blessed me with, among everything I have personally went through. He saved me! There’s never a dull moment when I’m with this beautiful girl. Dino Melaye’s brother, Moses says the Police are out to harm my brother
Senator Dino Melaye’s younger brother, Moses, has accused the Federal Government of using the police to turn the Senator’s life into a nightmare.
His assertion comes as the police continues to lay a siege outside Melaye’s home in Abuja.
Recall that on Friday December 28th 2018, the police stormed Melaye’s Abuja home with the aim of arresting him over an alleged murder case. The embattled senator and his men have been accused of attempting to murder a police officer in Kogi state in July 2018. Read here.
Speaking during an interview on Channels TV last night, January 2nd, Moses Melaye said the police have made life unbearable for his brother since they started the siege outside his home and that his family believe the police is out to harm him.
“This government and the police have made the life of my brother, Senator Dino Melaye, a living hell for the last few months. The case they are raising against him happened in July. I was there in the car; the policemen shot at us. My car had over six bullets riddled on that car. How can they turn around all of a sudden that we are the ones shooting at the police?
“Our security men and policemen have been taken away since over seven-eight months ago. So, how do we now become the persons shooting? That story is not true. It is unfounded and because of the injustice on a daily basis, we cannot trust or believe anything they do. I believe that they are out to harm my brother. If not, what is the desperation?” he said
Narrating how the police stormed Melaye’s Abuja home on December 28th, Moses said
“On this particular occasion, they went into the compound, arrested the security man, beat him up and cuffed him” he said
Viktoh assaulted by Police after his performance at the Afrikan Shrine
Nigerian singer and rapper, Viktoh who was signed on to Olamide’s YBNL was assualted by officers of the Lagos State Police recently.
The singer was headed to Zlatan’s ‘Zanku To The World’ concert which held at the New Afrika Shrine. The incident took place along Alpha Beach Road, Igbo Efon Lekki.
The incident happened last night and in a video recorded by Viktoh himself, the officer responsible for the assault is seen profusely begging and apologizing for laying hands on him.
Though the circumstances surrounding the confrontation that led to the assault is still unknown at this time but Viktoh is clearly seen with a swollen and black eye as he confronts the officers.

The Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa State, Aminu Saleh yesterday confirmed that a father of three, Samuel Sunday, has been arrested for allegedly poisoning his three children with sniper killing two of the children while the third one survived.
The surviving son told newsmen that their father and his brother gave them the sniper to drink. “Our father and his brother tied three of us and gave us sniper to drink. “I was told that my brothers are dead, and that I am the only one that survived,” the boy said in tears on his hospital bed.
He said that the suspect and his brother, Aya Preye, were being charged for the murder of the two children. He identified the deceased boys as Miracle (12) and God’s time (10).
Sunday and his wife had divorced but the three children were living with their grandmother before the incident occurred. The police commissioner said that the suspect had alleged that his sons were wizards who were responsible for his sickness.

Former nun makes her debut as a porn star
A former nun who left the convent and became a mother-of-two is set to make her debut as a professional adult film star.
Yudy Pineda, 28, has signed a multi-scene deal with Miami-based BangBros, one of the biggest porn studios in the US, to feature in a convent themed scene.

Insecurity: Katsina Residents now Sleep with One Eye Open – Governor Masari
The Executive Governor of Katsina state, Aminu Masari has declared that the state is under siege by armed robbers, kidnappers and bandits on rampage.
Masari said this during the opening ceremony of an extraordinary security meeting in Katsina, Punch reports.
The governor said:
The citizens are on a daily basis being harassed by bandits and kidnappers that are on rampage in the state.
The Katsina Government organised this one-day joint security and stakeholders meeting to proffer solutions to the state’s current insecurity challenge.
Our state is currently under serious siege by armed robbers, kidnappers and armed bandits who arrest rural people at will and demand ransom, which if not paid, results in the killing their victims.
The people of Katsina in the 34 local governments now sleep with one eye closed and the other open.
Our state is in a dangerous situation. Travellers are afraid of being stopped on the highway and arrested by kidnappers who demand ransom.
I am calling on all stakeholders to come out with solutions that will assist the security agencies to discharge their duties.
This time around, we should be able to make sacrifices that will make our state safe and will allow people to go about their lawful business without fear of being arrested by armed bandits and kidnappers.

You are an agent of Satan – Fani-Kayode slams Fr. Mbaka
Femi Fani-Kayode, has called Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka an agent of Satan after the latter endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term in office.

Unical student steals sponsor’s jewelry worth over N25m
A student of University of Calabar, Unical, who reportedly stole his sponsor’s N25m jewelry has been apprehended and arrested by the police.
According to Philip Obin who shared the news on Twitter, the Unical student was saved from dropping out of school by an 85yr old woman.
The student would go on to steal the woman’s jewelries which she has been keeping since the year 1961.

Alfa caught on camera defiling a five-year-old girl in Lagos
An Islamic cleric also known as Alfa, Abdulsalam Salaudeen was caught on camera defiling five-year-old girl who was under his care in Lagos state.
The Lagos state police command arrested the 43 year old cleric, after he was caught on camera having anal sex with the young girl that he was supposed to be teaching Islamic studies.
A statement released by the command’s spokesperson, CSP Chike Oti, says the heinous act was reported to the command by a good samaritan who secretly recorded the Alfa abusing the child.
The video was presented to the state Commissioner of Police, CP Edgal Imohimi, who after watching the horrific video, directed the command’s undercover operatives attached to the State Intelligence Bureau to immediately arrest the culprit and hand him over to the Gender Section for detailed investigation.
The operatives went in search of the Alfa and arrested him near a mosque in the Igando area of the state.
He was taken from there to the Gender Unit, where the Officer-in-Charge, ASP (Mrs) Abimbola Williams, confronted him with the video of him defiling the child.
On seeing himself captured like an actor in a movie, the suspect broke down in tears and owned up to the crime. He told the investigators that he resides at 16, Awoyemi Street, Igando Road, Ikotun, Lagos state.
The case will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
The CP, while commending the courageous act of the good Nigerian, has warned parents and guardians to keep constant watch over their children and wards. Imohimi stressed that nobody should be trusted and that parents should endeavor to be friends with their children and let them be free to share things with you.
Man poisons his 3 children with sniper over witchcraft claim

Dr Moses Emeka of Hillem Medical Centre, who attended to the only survivor, said the boy was brought to the hospital unconscious by an NDLEA official.
The doctor confirmed that the survivor was responding to treatment and would soon recover.

A man was yesterday caught in with female pants, bra and soaked sanitary pad, and based on the recent trend he has been suspected of being a ritualist.
The man was apprehended while picking female undies and soaked sanitary pads in Akure, Ondo state.
This was made known by a Twitter user with the handle @YemieFASH, who said the man was apprehended by some motorcycle riders who noticed his suspicious moves

Woman doused in acid by her dad because he wanted a son shares inspiring new year message
A woman who was doused in acid by her father when she was just two-months-old has shared an inspiring new year message.
Anmol Rodrigous was curled up in her mother’s lap when her father poured a can of acid on them, killing her mother, and disfiguring newborn- Anmol.
At 23, Anmol now runs her own survivor foundation. She has not only overcome the physical and emotional pain but has also become an inspiration to many women like her.
Anmol, which means priceless in Hindi, claims to be the happiest girl in the world. She lives alone in Mumbai, India, where she arranges funds for her ongoing reconstructive surgeries and runs an NGO Acid Survivor Sahas Foundation, through which she has helped 20 such women getting employment and organised a lavish wedding for a friend.
In her words;
I love my life as it is. Not even once have I felt that I am different. This could also be because I only remember seeing myself with one eye and wrinkled, burnt skin.
I have very happily accepted myself and this has given me hopes and confidence to keep moving in life.
My whole life was spent at an orphanage in Mumbai. I am told that I was only two months old when my father had attacked my mother and myself with acid.
She left the orphanage 2 years ago when she finished from college. She now makes £117 a month from giving her ideas to make creative sets for the shows and saves some of her money for her NGO.
The young girl says she loves to dress up and wishes to become a model. She has already been offered model assignments by two designers to promote their jewellery on Instagram.
Sharing an inspiring message for others in her condition, she said:
I want to become the first commercial acid attack survivor model who can not just promote fashion but also spread awareness that acid does not end life.

Amazing new picture of family of five plagued with madness in Cross River
Here’s an amazing picture of the family of five who went viral after their condition (madness) was brought to the notice of the public by a former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Progress Oberiko.
The husband named Ben, his wife and three kids for over seven years – roamed the streets of Bekwarra-Ogoja, Cross River State due to their condition.
With support from philanthropist and prompt response from the medical team at the Federal Neuro Psychiatric hospital in Calabar, the family are on their way to full recovery.
According to reports, doctors say it was really a tough time getting them to accept treatments. The doctors met strong resistance from them as they refused to accept food or care of any sort. They wouldn’t even speak to anyone.
There was breakthrough at some point after several medical checks on the children doctors reported that they were even healthier than they thought.
The Mother who was kept in a separate ward complained about body pains caused by sleeping on the bed after being used to sleeping on the bare floor.
They had lived in delusion, which had cost them a great part of their lives but their lives have taken a turn for the better.

Minimum wage: NLC to begin indefinite strike on January 8th
Following the inability of the Federal Government to urgently transmit the bill on the new national minimum wage to the National Assembly, the Nigeria Labour Congress has set January 8th as the date for the commencement of an indefinite nationwide strike.
NLC President Comrade Ayuba Wabba said the strike would be inevitable if nothing happened before the set date. He appealed to workers across the nation to support the action to succeed in the interest of their social and economic prosperity.
Comrade Wabba called on Federal Government to urgently transmit the bill on the new national minimum wage to the National Assembly for a speedy passage.
He said:
“It is unfortunate that the Federal Government is yet to transmit to the National Assembly an executive bill for the enactment of N30,000 as the new national minimum wage. Government’s dilly-dallying on the issue has strained Government-Labour relations with a potential for a major national strike which could just be days away.
I want to appeal to the government to do the needful by urgently transmitting the bill on the new national minimum wage to the National Assembly. We also would like to use this same opportunity to urge workers to fully mobilise for a prolonged national strike and enforce their right.”
He added that the NLC leadership is similarly committed to social protection for workers.
“The new year presents great opportunities for workers, pensioners, civil society allies and their friends and families to put their numbers to good use. This is by voting out, not on the basis of tribe or religion but purely policy, any candidate that cannot serve their interest.
In the year that is ahead of us, the NLC remains unequivocally committed to the national and workers’ goals which include the campaign for industrialisation, against selective enforcement of “No Work, No Pay” policy of government, among others,” he said.
Young men caught with about 10 female pants in Delta (Photos)
Two young men have been arrested with about 10 female underwear in Delta state – the incident is said to have happened in Umutu, Ukwuani local government area of the state.
It was gathered from sources that the last one they pulled – was from a young girl (pictured standing with them).
The suspects were paraded in public before they were handed over to the local security operatives in the area.
This comes after about a few weeks ago, a man was apprehended while on an underwear stealing mission in Delta state.
The suspect was reportedly caught by local vigilante in Agbarha area of the state after he allegedly stole a bra and was looking for panties to steal to complete his mission.

Fans are not saying it is bad for an entertainer to quote another entertainer’s lyrics but that particular line is one ‘broke people’ or individuals from a ‘humble background’ relate with better.

Luckily, fans saw the funny side of the tweet and the replies have been all positive.

Lagos DJ commits suicide allegedly over marital issues | Leaves suicide note
A Lagos-based DJ, Seun Omogaji aka Xgee, has allegedly taken his own life, some moments after leaving a note on his Instagram page.
According to a report, the DJ drank “Sniper” a deadly insecticide that takes hazardous effect on the human body almost immediately after consumption.
In the post made few hours ago on his page, the deceased wrote,
“Okay there is a twist to this last respect ppl give to their loved ones when gone.
Black as signs of sadness…but in my case please Rock WHITE Cos i love this colour so much.
To all have made smiled and to those i have pissed off trust me im only being Human. Enikorewa i love u so much , Eriayo u name sums it all up u are truly d reason for my Joy.

According to an insider who spoke with IB9JA, DJ Xgee had been having serious issues with his wife and had been pleading with her to take things easy.
However, she later packed out of their matrimonial home. Again, he begged her to return, but she refused, then out of depression he decided to take his own life.
