A Nigerian Guy has shared a heartbreaking post of how his girlfriend committed suicide on boxing day, leaving a heartbreaking note for her friends and family before going to the great beyond.
According to her boyfriend, a twitter user, @badman_niro who shared the story on his page, the young lady committed suicide yesterday, which is boxing day. He wrote;
“I just lost my girl to suicide now. How’s your Boxing Day going?”
He also shared a snap of the suicide note she left behind.
In the heartbreaking note, she said she was sorry for taking her life, before revealing that though she always looked happy, she was broken deep down. See note below;
A Ghanaian slay queen has gained social media fame after she shared a video of herself openly invited men to come have her for money.
In the video, the lady whose name is unknown seem to have just woken up from bed and shot the video.
She was speaking a local Ghanaian language Twi and in translation, she meant

A young lady is currently nursing an injury she sustained after her 22-year-old brother stabbed her in the back because she was slow in making his food at their home in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Their older sister, Sonia Joy Esego, who shared the story online, says she has reported the matter to the police.

Founder of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) Worldwide, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has disclosed that he worked as an airport cleaner, security man and a recharge card vendor.
Chinyere recounted how he started life as a young man about 15 years ago in Lagos, selling mobile phone recharge cards and cleaning toilets at the Murtala Muhammad Airport, Lagos.
He told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN that his existence had been destined and guided by God.
The 45-year-old pastor said the experience of neglect, rejection and poverty changed his perception of life and catapulted him to where he had found himself today.
He said,
“I was motivated to doing the right thing because 12 years ago, I was a homeless man, I had nothing; I was selling MTN recharge card in Lagos. I am always pained seeing the poor people suffering.
“The first time I travelled to Lagos, I slept under the bridge. I later became a cleaner at the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), where I also cleaned the airport toilets. “Go to MMA Lagos and ask of Chibuzor, everybody knows me there as a cleaner; it is not a secret. I posted the picture on the church Facebook wall.
“At times, when I am travelling or coming back from my journey, I stop at the airport to greet my former colleagues, and I gladly share what I have with them. “In fact, I had to establish one of them and he is now doing well in Port Harcourt.”
According to the pastor, his major concern in life, having tasted poverty, is to see the children of the poor get quality education no matter the circumstance.
This, he said, led to the establishment of the OPM free schools in Bayelsa, Rivers and Abia states as well as a Foundation for Humanitarian Services.
The cleric added that he used the offering and tithes from church members in 150 branches across the globe to ameliorate the sufferings of the poor people and the less privileged in the society.
He said,
“We started this free school when we had only one branch of the church about 10 years ago; we also operate a free restaurant, where Muslims and Christians go to eat. “The free school is located in Bayelsa, Rivers and Abia states, and we want to spread it all over Nigeria.
“The OPM Foundation is also behind the construction of free estates where people live without paying a kobo as rent; we have skill acquisition centres where people come and learn different skills.
“We rehabilitate both militants and armed robbers and feed them every day. We also rehabilitate commercial sex workers and also give them accommodation and we are also feeding them. “They are now doing legitimate businesses.”
The foundation’s other achievements, according to NAN, include empowerment, alms-giving and commissioning of a free Computer Training Centre at Elele Prison in Rivers State.
Others are the award of university scholarship to the poor apart from the free nursery, primary and secondary schools education. It has also commissioned free tailoring centre and provided water borehole to the people of Rumuji and other communities in Rivers State, to alleviate the problem of water scarcity in the area.
A woman whose husband was killed during a robbery attack in his house in Rivers state, met with the gang members who perpetrated the act.
The widow and mother of three identified as Mrs. Funke Adetutu, met with the hoodlums after they were arrested by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT.
The leader of the gang knelt down and begged for forgiveness from the widow who replied that mercy belongs to God and they should ask Him for forgiveness and mercy.
She added that her husband takes care of a lot of people apart from the children and they now have to struggle following his demise. She also thanked the police team for arresting the killers of her husband.
PDP campaign spokesperson, Buba Galadima has stated that some of President Muhammadu Buhari’s poor relatives have become billionaires.
Galadima, who spoke on Sunrise Daily, a live programme on Channels Television, on Wednesday, alleged that some individuals close to Buhari, who were poor in 2015 when the President assumed office had somehow become owners of choice houses in the President’s hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
The PDP campaign spokesperson made the accusation while engaging in a debate with an All Progressives Congress member, Senator Ayo Arise, who had faulted the amendment process of the Electoral Act.
Arise, who is also a former Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, said,
“If the President says I will allow a free and fair election, there is the propensity for people to trust him more than the other candidate in this country that is currently running because he has demonstrated it times without number that he has integrity.
“For me, that is what I see in the President and that is why I am one of the strongest supporters and believers in him.”
But Galadima stated that the President had not shown any sign of integrity, adding that several of Buhari’s relatives had become significantly wealthier in the time he has been president.
The PDP campaign spokesperson said,
“I can’t see any integrity whatsoever on the side of Mr President. Which integrity? Somebody who condones corrupt people around him. We know of his relatives. We know of his friends who were bankrupt before 2015.
“We know of his relatives who took N2,000 transport money from us to go to Kaduna. Today, they are multibillionaires. They have assets all over the world. They have estates all over the world. I can show anybody that wants to know. So, the issue of integrity with this government is not an issue.
“Go to Daura GRA. When you go there, all the houses that make you feel as if you are in Dubai, London or Beirut were built by whom? To whom do those properties belong?
“So, please, I don’t want any All Progressives Congress man to talk to me about integrity. This should be the last time anybody engaging me in a debate would talk about integrity; I will take them to the marketplace.”
The Force Headquarters has ordered the arrest and prosecution of 190 riot policemen who absconded from the ongoing counter-insurgency training at the Special Forces School, Buni-Yadi, Yobe State.
The fleeing policemen were part of the 2,000 Police Mobile Officers mobilised for the training preparatory to their deployment for combat against Boko Haram insurgents in the North-East, The Punch reports.
They were deployed by the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, about three weeks ago for purely military duties under the ‘Operation Lafiya Dole.’
The Police authorities had argued that the deployment of the men was consistent with Section 4 of the Police Act and Regulations, which allows them to perform such military duties both within and outside Nigeria as may be required of them.
The 190 missing cops were believed to have bailed out of the SFS because they did not want to participate in the counter-insurgency operations.
Findings indicate that the policemen were drawn from MOPOLs 2, Keffi; 3 Enugu; 5 Benin; 8 Jos; 11 Calabar; and 16 Abeokuta.

The deceased, Samuel Makene, was stabbed to death by some youths on December 20, at the residence of Emmanuel Ombugadu, Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during a political gathering.
ASP Samaila Usman, who disclosed this in an interview on Wednesday in Lafia, said the police arrested the suspects from Angwan Baba Arago of Akwanga Local Government Area for the murder of Samuel Makene.
“The suspects were already apprehended and transferred to the police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation” Usman said.
He added that the suspects would be charged to court for prosecution as soon as investigation was concluded.
The PPRO assured families of the deceased that the police would ensure that the suspects and other criminals in the state were made to face the law.

Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, says beginning from 2019, Nigerians who own private jets and yachts will start paying luxury taxes. The Minister disclosed this when she spoke at a press conference on Monday December 24th. She added that taxes of Small and Medium Enterprises will be reduced.

“We are exploring the way to increase taxes as well as reduce taxes in some sectors. For Small and Medium Enterprises, what will happen is to reduce taxes. But there are some special taxes that we will be looking at imposing.
For example, luxury taxes. If you have a private jet, we will be taxing you specially for that. If you have a yacht, we will be charging you for that and also in terms of excise duties, there are also some new areas where excise duties will be introduced. We haven’t got all the approvals but one of the major areas might be that of carbonated drinks produced in the country.” she said
The Nigeria Customs Service says it has so far distributed 424,391 seized bags of rice worth N4 billion to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa and Edo States.
The Public Relations Officer of the service, Deputy Comptroller, Joseph Attah, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Wednesday.
NAN reports that President Muhamnadu Buhari gave a directive to NSC to distribute some seized items including rice to IDPs in the troubled North East to ameliorate their sufferings.
Attah explained that apart from rice, other seized perishable items were also distributed to the IDPs.
He said with relative peace in the North-East, many IDPs were now returning to their ancestral homes and engaging in farming.
He pointed out that the need for these items continued to reduce while seizures of the items had made warehouses to overflow.
The Spokesperson disclosed that the Comptroller General of Customs, Col Hameed Ali (Rtd), had obtained the Presidential nod to extend the distribution of the relief items to other IDP camps and registered orphanages across the country.
According to him, already, the list of IDPs and orphanages across the country is being compiled with a view to kick-starting the nation-wide distribution as soon as possible.
He said that by the time NCS commenced the distribution, it would provide relief and succour to fellow Nigerians who were going through tough times in the IDP camps and orphanages.
Attah also disclosed that a total number of 238,094 (50kg) bags of rice were seized across the country by customs between January and November this year.
He reiterated the commitment of the Ali led administration to cleanse the system to boost revenue generation in the country.

The Nigerian Police Force has reacted to the allegation by Senator Dino Melaye that the Inspector General Police has ordered his arrest and inject him to death.
“There is no such order from the Inspector General of Police or any plan by the Force to arrest Senator Dino Melaye and inject him to death”, said Jimoh Moshood, the police spokesman. Moshood described Melaye’s allegation as mischievous, malicious, misleading and laughable.
The attention of the Nigeria Police Force has been drawn to a statement in some sections of the media credited to a serving Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye, captioned “IG plans to arrest me, inject me to death”.
The Force is categorically stating that the statement is mischievous, malicious, capable of misleading the public and laughable, there was no such order from the Inspector General of Police or any plan by the Force to arrest Senator Dino Melaye and inject him to death but if the Senator knows he had committed any crime or he is aware of his involvement in any crime, he should come out and confess and face the legal consequences instead of whipping up sentiments to distract the public.
The Force sees such defamatory, mischievous, malicious and reckless statement by Senator Dino Melaye as untrue, ridiculous, mischievous and unfortunate. Members of the public are hereby enjoined to disregard and discountenance the statement by Senator Dino Melaye in its entirety as untrue and mischievous.
Senator Dino Melaye is hereby called upon to know that his statement constitute a criminal defamatory offence, hate speech and hateful conduct. He should however as a law maker be law abiding and desist from un-senatorial and lawless utterances that cannot be substantiated with facts.

The Byculla police on Sunday, arrested seven more Nigerian drug peddlers who had created a menace in south Mumbai, making it a total of 14 arrested since last week.
Several teams of zone III, had on December 15, arrested seven Nigerians who had fired on cops, injuring four. The police recovered drugs worth Rs 21 lakh, a country made revolver, 550 grams of MD, 110 grams of brown sugar and Rs 41,000 in cash.
Police said they received information that the remaining members of the gang were likely to meet near Byculla railway tracks. A trap was laid and seven more Nigerians were arrested. Police recovered 10 cartridges, seven passports whose visas had expired, 55 grams of cocaine, cash of 200 US Dollars, Rs 3.80 lakhs, a button knife, a digital weighing machines and two mobile phones.
What baffled the police is the fact that the visas were issued to them in Bangladesh.
After their tourist visas expired, the accused were illegally staying in rented rooms in Nallasopara, Vasai Virar and Navi Mumbai.
Police said that the modus operandi of the gang was to move in group of 10 or more and when any police party raids or chase them, they would fire towards police and scare them.

A Cake maker has exposed one of her clients on Twitter, after he demanded to be referred to as “darling” or “sweetheart”.
According to the cake maker, she lost the client after she refused to call him such pet names.
It all started when the said client sent her a whatsapp chat ordering for a cake… and she replied to the chat in a formal way, only for the client to take offense in it, and asked that she uses words of endearment for him. When she refused, he gave the cake deal to another baker.

Buhari has again responded to those who have tagged him as “Baba-Go-SLow”.
Apparently, since he came into office in 2015, Nigerians have called out President Buhari for being slow at taking decisions and actions that would move the country forward.
While speaking with the Federal Capital Territory community who paid him a visit on Christmas day December 25th, President Buhari attributed his perceived slow performance to the system of government.
He said unlike when he was in the military, he has to go by the system as a democratically elected President.
“I told you what I did when I was in uniform but now when I have to go by this system (Democracy,) where people have to be arrested and then prosecuted, taken to court and then with evidence, we will collect back what they had taken illegally and for doing that, people are calling me Baba go slow.
“I am going slowly but whatever the case, I will not stop pointing fingers at those who have abused trust by taking money that does not belong to them. I will keep on trying to do my best for this country and get back what belongs to the country.
“We are going to do the roads, revive the railway and electricity with the little resources at our disposal. Fighting Corruption, yes, we are slow because the system is slow. It’s not Baba that is slow but it is the system. So, I am going by this system and I hope we will make it,” he said.
A few days ago, Nigerian oil magnate, Femi Otedola via a letter to the Nigerian Stock Exchange announced his decision to sell his 75% direct and indirect shareholdings in Forte Oil. (Read Here ICYMI)
