A security guard has received a large amounts of praise from internet users after he returned the 62k he found outside of a microfinance bank in Abeokuta.

It would appear that a market woman had visited the microfinance bank for a loan, but misplaced the money on her way out.

The woman had tripped while exiting the microfinance bank causing the money to fall off from her without her knowledge.

The security guard who identified as Obinna Nwokoma, found the money, a sum of 62k on the floor in front of the microfinance bank and gave it back.

The news which was shared by @lollypeezle on the microblogging platform emphasized on the fact that they are still good people out there.

Posting a picture of the security guard, he attached the caption;

“This Security Guard, Obinna Nwokoma returned the 62k he saw on the floor outside a Microfinance Bank in Abeokuta. Apparently, a market woman who came to collect loan at the bank tripped on her way out with the money falling without her knowledge. I celebrate good people”

Many people have commended what the security guard did, according to them the 62k might look small but it meant a lot to the market woman.

Nigerian politician, Opeyemi Falegan, has tackled Wunmi, the wife of the late singer Mohbad, for allegedly refusing to conduct a DNA test on her seven-month-old son with the singer, Liam.

Recall that some netizens have been demanding a DNA test to determine if the boy is truly the deceased singer’s biological son.

His father, Mr Joseph Aloba, has also repeatedly stated that a DNA test is mandatory, as people from Ekiti state, where he hails from, do not accept “bastards.”

Recently, the Lagos State Police Command disclosed that they have asked Mr Joseph to come and claim his son’s corpse, but he refused because he wants a DNA test conducted first before he is reburied. However, they maintained that a DNA test is their private family business and doesn’t involve the police.

Reacting to the saga, Opeyemi Falegan took to his Instagram page to question Mohbad’s wife for the delay in carrying out a DNA test.

He also warned her not to anger people from his state (Ekiti) because they need to know if the boy is indeed a son of the soil.

Opeyemi, the former partner of actress Nkechi Blessing, wrote,

“Why is wunmi not doing the DNA? Why taking forever?

Don’t get Ekiti people upset pls , I need to know if the child is Ekiti child so I can send my financial support pls.

A paternal aunt of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, has criticized Nollywood actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo for demanding the release of the singer’s corpse for a proper burial.

Speaking in a video shared online, the aunt stated that they have no right to demand his corpse because they are not his parents.

She emphatically stated that it’s the singer’s dad who has the right over the body and will decide when he will be reburied.

She also rebuked the movie stars for going casket-shopping for the singer a few weeks ago, where they were offered a casket and other funeral arrangements for the singer at no cost.

Tragic Road Crash Claims 17 Lives And Injures 208 In Niger State

A devastating road accident in Niger State has resulted in the loss of seventeen lives and left 208 individuals injured.

The lone crash occurred at Takalafia village on the Yawuri Expressway in the Magama Local Government area of Niger State on Tuesday, November 22.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) spokesperson, Bisi Kazeem, confirmed the incident.

According to Kazeem, the crash involved a total of 229 people, including 220 male adults, four female adults, and five male children.

Tragically, seventeen male adults lost their lives in the accident, while 206 male adults, one female adult, and one male child sustained various degrees of injuries.

Investigations revealed that the crash was caused by a speed violation that resulted in the driver, identified as Idi Doba, losing control of the red-colored commercial DAF trailer with number plate SRZ446XA.

Upon receiving medical attention, the injured victims were swiftly evacuated to the Kantagora General Hospital. Meanwhile, the deceased victims were transported to the hospital’s mortuary.

The FRSC Corps Marshal, Dauda Biu, has once again spoken on the dangers associated with conveying passengers in trailers and other haulage vehicles.

He urged drivers to refrain from this practice to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.

The FRSC continues to work diligently to create awareness, preventing such avoidable accidents on Nigerian roads.

Former CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele Granted N300m Bail By FCT High Court

Justice Hamza Muazu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja has granted bail to Godwin Emefiele, the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank, in the sum of N300 million with two sureties in like sum.

During the hearing of his bail application on November 22, the court ruled that the sureties must possess certificates of occupancy and titles of properties within the Maitama District.

Additionally, Emefiele has been ordered to deposit all his travel documents with the court’s registrar and remain within the Abuja Municipal Council. Until he meets the bail conditions, he is expected to stay at the Kuje Correctional Centre.

Emefiele was not present in court during the hearing as he is already in custody at the Kuje Correctional Centre. His lawyer, Mr. Mathew Burkaa, explained that this was normal procedure.

The former CBN governor is currently facing trial for alleged procurement fraud.

Initially, the Federal Government had brought forward 20 charges of procurement fraud amounting to N6.5 billion against Emefiele.

However, the charges were subsequently reduced to six, totaling N1.2 billion, on which he was arraigned last Friday.

The granting of bail to Emefiele has sparked interest and discussion among the public, as they observe the legal proceedings unfold.

A video which was shared online has captured a little girl lecturing a class filled with adults in singing the ABC song.

The clip which has earned over 7 million views and still counting displayed the class singing along with her as she lectured on.

According to the user @sametbh who shared the video on TikTok, what lead to the little girl performing the role of a professor was because theirs came late.

The little girl boldly stood on the podium, signified that she was now the professor and lead the class in singing the rhyme.

Sharing the video, the TikTok user wrote, “Our professor was late to class so this lil girl walked up and said “I’m the teacher now” why she got the whole class singing the alphabet lol”

The user also shared that none of them in the classroom expected the little girl to teach them rhymes.

Lady exposes tactics girls are now using to snatch faithful men who own fancy cars

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to raise alarm about the new strategies ladies use to snatch men from their women when they see them driving luxury vehicles.

The concerned woman disclosed that certain women are currently searching the streets relentlessly for guys they want to snatch by whatever means.

She disclosed that if women witness men driving luxury automobiles approaching, they attempt to aggressively arrange their bodies in an attempt to divert the driver’s attention.

She claims that these women will purposefully jiggle their waists and thrust out their chests to allow the motorist to stop and call them.

The woman said that she observed a lot of them acting in this way when they spotted her car approaching; however, they stopped acting in this way when they realised she was a woman.

She advised women who had spouses and boyfriends to be prayerful because these ladies are determined to steal their men by any means possible.

Beauty Tukura releases statement denying accusations that she was a bu||y in secondary school

Reality TV star, Beauty Tukura has issued a statement in response to unfounded claims that she was a perpetrator of harassment and bullying.

A few days ago, an acclaimed ex-secondary schoolmate of Beauty Tukura called her out for being a bully while in secondary school.

According to her, they celebrated the ex-BBN housemate’s disqualification with a party because she put a lot of ladies at their school through hell.

Following the claims, Beauty Tukura’s management has issued a response, denying the accusations after conducting an investigation.

They shared information from the supposed secondary school who alleged that the lady who accused Beauty of being a bully was never a student of the school.

“We act as management for Beauty Etsanyi Tukura, an esteemed reality TV star, actress,
influencer and entrepreneur (hereinafter referred to as “Our Client”) and on whose behalf we
release this public statement.

Following several publications, reports and commentary on the above subject matter, it has
become pertinent for Our Client to address the issue and shed more light on the facts surrounding
this matter.

On the 11th day of November 2023, a defamatory statement was disseminated on the social
media platform “X” (formerly known as Twitter) by a certain individual named Ruby Deborah
Batubo with the handle @aiiy_bee wherein she accused Our Client of allegedly being “a wicked
individual” who actively bullied her (Ruby Batubo) while they were in secondary school.
Additionally, she claimed that this alleged bullying led her to attempt suicide.

This accusation was profoundly surprising to our client, who maintains a firm stance against any
form of bullying. Consequently, in addressing the matter, we conducted a thorough investigation
and verification with Our Client’s Alma mater, the American University of Nigeria Academy (AUN
Academy) Adamawa State, Nigeria to confirm whether or not Ruby Deborah Batubo was indeed a
student. Upon conclusion of our investigation, it was discovered that there is no record of Ruby
Deborah Batubo ever attending the aforementioned institution.

Whilst we appreciate and recognise the commitment to oppose bullying and the courage to
expose wrongdoers, whether from the past or present, it is regrettable that Ruby Deborah Batubo
has chosen to engage in defamatory actions against Our Client. This was aimed at tarnishing her
well-deserved reputation and successful career.

We emphasize that these allegations against Our Client are not only malicious but also
unequivocally baseless, completely lacking in truth, and, at best, mere products of Ruby Deborah
Batubo’s imagination.

As a law-abiding citizen who believes in due process, we affirm her unwavering commitment to
rectifying this egregious situation and seeking due redress through all possible lawful channels.
This press release stands as the sole official statement issued regarding this matter for now. Any
further communication will be provided as may be necessary in the course of obtaining justice in
this matter.

“Why I’m not pressuring my son to find a wife” – Don Jazzy’s father, Mr Collins Enebeli Ajereh

Nigerian businessman and music executive, Don Jazzy’s father, Mr. Collins Enebeli Ajereh, has revealed why he is not pressuring his son to get married.

According to him, the 40-year-old music executive had been married before but the marriage did not work out.

Speaking in an interview with TVC, Mr. Ajereh maintained that marriage was a personal decision and he would not be forcing his son to make it.

He said;

“He [Don Jazzy] was married. But they [he and his ex-wife] decided to end their marriage.”

When asked if he still has hope that Don Jazzy will remarry, Ajereh said, “Well, that is his choice. The question of marriage is individual choice. Some people choose marriage and some don’t and yet have relationships that might blossom into what makes their lives complete.”

A while back, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has remarked that the rapidly growing rapper OdumoduBlvck has a distinctive musical style with a hint of retro vibes.

Nigerian professional footballer, Victor Boniface, has flown his grandmother to Germany to watch him play for his club, Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga.

The Super Eagles striker, aged 22, shared photos of himself and his mother on a flight to Germany ahead of his Bayer Leverkusen match this weekend. Apparently, he flew his grandmother out to watch him play for the first time.

Boniface, who formerly played for Bodo/Glimt, moved to Germany in the summer after leaving the Belgian side, Union 5G.

He has scored 11 goals, coupled with six assists, in sixteen games in all football matches for the German side.

His lovely gesture to his grandmother, who reportedly singlehandedly raised him after the demise of his parents, has melted the hearts of many on social media.

Popular Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba, has shared a video of the lovely moment he surprised his wife, Brunella, on their third wedding anniversary on Tuesday, November 21.

The actor disclosed that they had planned to visit an island in Mexico, Cancun, to celebrate the milestone, but they had to cancel because he had other engagements.

He also told her that he wouldn’t be around for their anniversary as he was out of town for an event. According to him, his wife was downcast by his absence, unknown to her, that he had a big surprise planned for her and was on a flight home.

In the video, he made a grand entry into their sitting room, much to the surprise of his wife, who looked beyond shocked to see her husband whom she thought was in another city. They then shared a warm embrace.

He also gave her flowers, cake, and chocolates, which he had secretly ordered before he arrived home. To crown it all, he presented her with a beautifully wrapped box containing a brand new iPhone 15 and revealed that he decided to gift her a phone because he had earlier overheard her complaining about an issue with a phone.

Williams, who shares a daughter with his wife, also revealed that he got other gifts for his wife but they are not for social media consumption.

Speaking further, he deeply appreciated his wife for bringing joy and peace into his life and their home.
