Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex Asogwa not long ago, took to her Instastory to share a video of herself dancing with popular Instagram celebrities, ‘Kupe Boys’ and she certainly had fun from the looks of it.

The Kupe boys who went viral and became a sensation after they danced to the popular song, Kupe, arrived Abuja today on the 15th on the invitation of the Play Network Africa. But only three out of them, came to Nigeria.
In some photos circulating Twitter, the boys were seen sitting on the floor at a Nigerian airport.
It’s unclear why they were made to sit on the bare floor, but Nigerians have been sharing the photos across social media with hilarious reactions.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, has arraigned one Olugbeje Nelson Adeoye before Justice Muslim Hassan of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos on a 12-count charge bordering on possession of documents containing false information, impersonation and phishing.
The offence is contrary to Section 32(1) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition Prevention) Act 2005.
One of the counts reads:
“That you, Olugbeje Nelson Adeoye, on or about the 25th of May, 2018 at Lagos within the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court with intent to defraud had in your possession document showing several e-mail addresses linked to your mobile phone number +234 08168480479 and which e-mail addresses evidenced your having phished and compromised unsuspecting members of the public e-mail addresses and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 32(1) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition Prevention) Act, 2015.”
Adeoye, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.
In view of his plea, the prosecuting counsel, Vera Agboje, asked the court for a trial date and urged the court to remand the accused in prison custody.
However, the defence counsel, Eze Njoku, moved an application for bail on behalf of his client.
Justice Hassan adjourned till November 26, 2018 and remanded the accused in prison custody pending the hearing of his bail application.

The 34-year-old Mimi who survived a horrible fire incident at the tender age of two, revealed that she has learned to wear her scars proudly despite negative comments.
Mimi who disclosed that she lost her her brother in the blaze which left with scars after her family’s boiler exploded, has grown into a powerful woman, wife and a mother to two adorable children; a boy and a girl.
While some might find it hard to carry on after such a traumatic experience, she grew up embracing her scars and it seemed to work in her favour. She not only found love but started a family as well.
Going through her Instagram page, it can be safely said that she is all about enjoying her life and does not tolerate any negativity, judging from her bio on the picture sharing app.
Kim Porter, who dated HipHop mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs for many years before they split in 2007 and was also mother to three of his children, was found dead in her home on Thursday. She was 47.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to PEOPLE that officers responded to a death investigation at 11:38 a.m. in Toluca Lake, California, where they found a female unresponsive at the residence.
According to an emergency dispatch call posted by TMZ, the call came in as a cardiac arrest. While it’s not yet clear what caused Porter’s death, a source told the outlet she had been suffering from pneumonia for weeks.

A Nigerian lady on Twitter, Adeola, took to the platform to share how the deacon of her church, upon seeing her haircut asked her to cover it either with a wig or a hat.
Adeola shared a photo of herself rocking the haircut which apparently was disdained by the deacon who had also seen the picture and so she asked that it’s all covered when she’s coming to church.
Adeola became somewhat insulted by this and so she decided that maybe she’ll find another church that can accommodate her haircut because she can’t change herself just because of a Church.

Ex-Oyo State governor, Ladoja’s daughter, Grace Ladoja has been awarded a MBE in the United Kingdom, by HRH The Prince Of Wales.

Veteran Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman has written open letter to his fellow celebrities, asking them to challenge governance.
Ruggedman, one of the most respected Nigerian rappers, has written an open letter to his fellow celebrities on Instagram.
In his letter, the Hiphop star told the celebrities that they have a responsibility to their fans who made them who they are.
He said it is their duty as celebrities to use their platforms to demand better governance for the people.

The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, 20th November 2018 as public holiday to mark the Eid-El Maulud celebration.
This was made known by the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen (rtd) Abdulrahman Dambazau who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement signed by the permanent secretary Dr. M.B Umar, he urged all Muslim faithful to align themselves with the prophet’s teachings which border on piety, charity, tolerance and peaceful co-existence, among others.
While calling on all Nigerians to uphold these virtues, with a view to overcoming the current national challenges facing the country, Gen. Dambazau assured that the Federal Government remains committed to the unity of the country and as such, will put adequate structures on ground towards ensuring that the forthcoming general elections are credible, free and fair.
A Nigerian mother is overwhelmed with joy after her young children gave her birthday gift which they bought with lunch money they saved up.
A Facebook user identified as Princess Amaka, has taken to the social networking platform to reveal how her three children gave her birthday gifts of shoes and bag bought with the lunch money they saved up.
The Nigerian mother who is a year older today, shared her joy on Facebook as she posted photos of her gifts from her kids and wrote:
“My people, Am pls one today and my kids brought me to tears of joy this morning. Am so excited!
I never knew the lunch money that is normally given to them for lunch , they used to go hungry at the school and keep saving that 50 or 100 naira giving to them just to present a gift to mom on her birthday.

A young Keke Napep driver has advised Nigerian women to stop turning them down, saying that they make even more money than men in the corporate world.
A Facebook user identified as Kelly Murphy who is a Keke Napep driver, has taken to the social networking platform to question why women reject the advances of tricyclists.
He revealed that some of the Keke drivers are university graduates who make more money than the men in the corporate world.

Two persons are feared dead after unknown gunmen stormed the Ikota slum in Lekki and carried out demolition of the shanties in the area.
According to reports, the gunmen stormed the slum at about 9am on Friday November 16, and ordered the inhabitants to vacate their homes as they have been marked for demolition.
The residents revealed to reporters that some persons had come to the area in the first week of November to mark their homes for demolition. They woke up on Friday morning to see soldiers and policemen in their area.
At about 9am, men with bulldozers moved into their community and started demolishing every structure in sight. Two of the residents reportedly died due to shock.
The state government is yet to confirm if it authorized the demolition carried out on Friday morning.

Kgomotso Christopher who was spotted in a video recording the popular “you have insufficient funds please recharge“ among other services offered by MTN, is said to be an educated actress who graduated from Columbia University in New York, USA.
While many network subscribers had unconsciously linked the voice to a white woman, Kgomotso Christopher who took to her twitter account to confirm the revelation revealed she’s been in the business for over six years.

Stella who took to her Instagram account to post a subtle message asked for her due credit the next time Linda wants to lift an interview she (Stella) conducted.
She wrote ;
Linda the next time you want to lift an interview I did,there is something called GIVING CREDIT. The next time you try it again I will teach you that two can play. Enough already. Quoting an interview I did as if the interviewer does not exist is wrong. This is me talking. I fear no one and keeping quiet doesn’t mean I don’t wanna talk. Enough said!
The Bayelsa State Vigilante Service has apprehended one of the suspects involved in the killing of miss Seiyefa Fred, a first year student of the Niger Delta University NDU.
Seiyefa was murdered on November 8th in Amasomma, the university host community after she refused to surrender her newly purchased iphone. (Read more on that here)
After much investigation, the vigilante group apprehended one of Seiyefa’s killers today November 16th.
The suspect, 20-year-old Junior Danumunabo from Nembe Ogbolomabiri has confessed to the crime.
It has further been gathered that suspects have agreed to cooperate with the Nigeria police force to arrest everyone involved in the murder of the 100L NDU student, who was attacked on Thursday, November 8, by suspected cultists who asked for her new iPhone which she reportedly gave to them after hesitating.
An appeal court in Abuja has reduced former governor of Plateau state, Joshua Dariye’s jail term from 14 years to 10 years.
The appeal court who quashed count 23 because the persecution did not prove beyond reasonable doubt that the former governor diverted the funds of the state to purchase a house in London, held that the maximum sentence of 14 years for the counts was excessive especially because the appellant is a first-time offender.
The presiding judge, Justice Stephen Adah on Friday who reduced the charges in the counts to 10 years, while the terms with two years are reduced to one year each, also quashed the sentence in count 12 as he read the unanimous judgment of the three-man panel.
The panel held that the lower court which had earlier found the former Plateau State Governor not guilty for the charge, should not have sentenced him on the charge.
Comedian Francis Agoda popularly known as I Go Dye has once again taken to social media to tackle the Buhari-led administration.

A Nigerian soldier is being hailed a hero after a woman narrated her touching encounter with him, while she was stuck in Lagos traffic.
Olanireti Adegoke Babalola said Joshua Ishaya came to her aid when she was stranded in Lagos with her kids. He stood by her car and made sure that she, her children and nanny were safe.
She went on to reveal that the soldier had scars on his body from surviving Boko Haram attack as he has been at the forefront of the war against the terrorist group. It was also revealed that Joshua’s brother was also a soldier but he was killed by Boko Haram terrorists.

A Delta state-based woman has been accused of ordering thugs to beat up her gateman, John, after he requested for his salary in Asaba, Delta state.

Recently mother of one, Cardi B went live on Instagram and spoke about some of the issues she was facing since the birth of her four-month-old daughter Kulture with rapper Offset.
In the video, the rapper said she has been very depressed because she can’t stop losing weight’ after the birth of her baby.
‘I’ve been very depressed because I cannot stop losing weight. And it’s so crazy because when I first gave birth, I did everything to lose my baby weight. I was drinking Teami [tea] so it could curb my appetite and now that I lost all the baby weight…I don’t like looking too skinny.’
‘I used to look too skinny as a teenager and I used to hate it and I hate it now,’ she said. ‘It’s been really depressing me, making me sad. My weight. You know what I’m saying.’
The 26-year-old also gushed about her baby’s looks, saying Kulture: ‘is just too gorgeous…. They took my best egg.
‘Her lips is crazy… her lips is a mix of Offset, [Cardi’s sister] Hennessy and Rihanna’s lips. This might be Rihanna’s baby.

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) is set to substantially increase its support to agribusiness, its value chain and growth of the Nigerian economy after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Savings and Retail Banking Institute (WSBI).
The memorandum outlines a framework to deepen agency banking, financial inclusion and savings culture in the informal and agribusiness sectors. As part of the terms of the partnership, in addition to the stated areas of support, WSBI will provide technical oversight supervision on a regular basis to ensure the achievement of mutually agreed goals set by both institutions.
According to the memorandum, the project involves FCMB rolling out an integrated savings account – named ‘Kampe Account’ – to offer financial services under phase one of its plan to 150,000 unbanked and under-banked farmers across five states through agricultural agents operating under the bank’s agency banking proposition. The first set of states to benefit in this first phase are Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Ogun and Oyo. The plan is to reach 2 million farmers across the entire nation by year 2023.
In addition to the financial support to farmers, FCMB plans to deploy its state-of-the art technology and mobile banking solutions to drive the project mainly in the rural and sub-urban farm settlements where most farmers are based. The bank will also organize capacity-building programmes for farmers aimed at facilitating their understanding of the sector and promote innovative ideas that would make the sector attractive, ultimately facilitating job creation that would in turn, impact on productivity and income.
Commenting on the grant from WSBI and the initiative, FCMB’s Managing Director and Chief Executive, Mr. Adam Nuru noted the development will revolutionize agribusiness – one of the various empowerment strategies adopted by the bank that is appreciated by stakeholders within and outside Nigeria.
Adam Nuru said:

Nigerian smallholder farmers have been at a disadvantage due to several factors including land fragmentation, inadequate farming equipment, broken value chains, poor access to finance and inadequate cash flow. Over the years, they have suffered from lack of essential services such as access to good markets to create low economies of scale, challenges in the promotion of agricultural productivity, hurdles in their bid to achieve increase in food security to improve rural livelihoods for engendering systematic growth out of poverty. FCMB and WSBI are optimistic that these challenges will be addressed.
Mr. Nuru added:

The men that abducted 16-year-old twin sisters in Zamfara have threatened to kill one of the girls if payment of their ransom is not made on time.
Hassana and Hussaina, whose wedding was slated for December, were abducted at their elder sister’s residence in Dauran village in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. They had visited their sister, Summaya, 20, in preparation for their wedding. Their father, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, said the kidnappers had initially demanded N150 million.
A family member, Ibrahim Abubakar, who spoke with the kidnappers and the twins on phone said the kidnappers had reduced the ransom to N15million.
“We are only able to get N6m selling our properties and receiving contributions from family members, politicians, traders and ordinary people,” Mr Abdubakar told Daily Nigerian on Thursday night
In an audio clip that had since gone viral on Facebook, one of the twin sisters, Hussaina was heard sobbing, complaining about maltreatment and appealing for help.
“I am battling with headache. We are in dire situation, they are about to kill us,” Hussaina sobbed. The beat us every morning. Please help rescue us. Even yesterday, they slaughtered some people in our presence. We are starving. Please get contributions even from the general public.”
