Police Retrieve Gun From Mavin Records DJ BigN During Street Fight [Video]
In a video that surfaced online recently, Mavin official Disc Jockey, DJ Big N was involved in a street scuffle that happened few days back, police had to wrestle a gun from the hands of the DJ.
According to eyewitnesses, trouble started when a fight broke out between BigN’s friend and another guy. It was gathered that singer Dr Sid came around to settle the fight, but was unable to.
And as the fight continued, BigN was alleged to have gone into the white vehicle in the video and brought out a pump action rifle. It was further alleged that he fired some shots into the air.
Shots were fired into the air, which attracted the police. Men of the police force were able to retrieve the gun from the disc jockey who was later taken to the nearest police station.

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband, Kanye West and their first child, North West, are in Uganda, and the famous couple got to meet with the Ugandan president on Monday.
The American couple met with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni at the State House – Yoweri Museveni, who owns a large livestock farm, reportedly donated 10 cows and a copy of his book “Sowing the Mustard Seed” to the couple.
In return, Kanye West gave a pair of his Yeezy boost sneakers to the President.
During the visit, the president cracked a joke with the singer, telling him:
I am also a rapper. If you want help on your album, I am always here to help.

Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen, dies of cancer
Paul Allen, who co-founded Microsoft, has died aged 65 from complications of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Allen co-founded Microsoft with Bill Gates at age 22.
He had tweeted two weeks ago, announcing that the disease, which he battled in 2009 had returned.
He wrote ;
“Some personal news: Recently, I learned the non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma I battled in 2009 has returned.
I’ve begun treatment & my doctors are optimistic that I will see a good result. Appreciate the support I’ve received & count on it as I fight this challenge,”
His Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said: “I am heartbroken by the passing of one of my oldest and dearest friends… Personal computing would not have existed without him.”
Why Presidential Candidates Should Listen To Fela’s Music – Femi Falana
Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Mr Femi Falana SAN, on Monday advised Nigerian presidential candidates seeking office in 2019 to listen to the late legendary musician, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s music, to get solutions to the nation’s problems.
Falana gave the advice during the 2018 Felabration tagged Fela @80: Overtaking Overtake, at the Fela debates titled: “African Leadership in the Millennium” in Lagos.
He said that the late Fela had foreseen Nigeria’s problems. Falana added that Fela warned about the challenges and proffered solutions to such problems in his music before his death.
Fela, who was born on October 15, 1938 and died on August 2, 1997, was the pioneer of the Afrobeat music genre and a human rights activist.
Falana said, “I want most of these presidential aspirants to listen to Fela’s music very well. That’s where they can find solutions to most of our problems.
“Our country is rich as Fela sang in his music, but our people are still hungry and poor; you must understand our society before you can lead us.”
Falana urged young Nigerians to get organised so that the sky would be their starting point.
He said that if Nigeria could get it right, the black man all over Africa would be happy.
Nigerian passport with 10-year validity will be effective from December 2018
The issuance of Nigerian Passport with 10 years validity, will commence from December, 2018 – this was confirmed by Mr Mohammed Babandede, the Comptroller-General, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
The Immigration boss, who was in Ibadan alongside other senior officials for the first International Conference on Border In-Transition at the University of Ibadan, made the disclosure when he visited Gov. Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State on Monday in Ibadan.
Babandede who said the Nigerian passport with 10-year validity would have features that could stand the test of time, added that it would run concurrently with the old ones.
“We thank President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the new passport with 10 years validity.
“We have also repositioned and improved on our services as directed by the president,” he said.
Man catches wife having sex with Gym trainer (Video)
A man identified as Mr Eugene Desouza has taken took to social media to share a video of him interrogating a gym trainer who he caught having sex with his wife in Zambia.
The distraught man who was slammed by social media users for revealing the identity of his wife who he caught having sex with a gym trainer, was also accused of assaulting and leaving the gym trainer with injuries.
The man had reportedly noticed a strange behaviour from his wife shortly after he introduced her to the gym and then, started trailing his wife’s movements before catching her red handed in bed with her lover.
His wife’s lover who stated that he messed up in the video, added that he knew the woman was married – he further disclosed that he had sex with Mrs. Desouza 4 times, and half of the time she visited him at home.

The Federal Government has stated that it is shocked and saddened at the killing of another aid worker by Boko Haram on Monday, 15th of October, 2018 despite the actions taken by the government and the widespread appeal to save the young woman.
In a statement issued in London on Monday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, described the killing as ‘dastardly, inhuman and ungodly’, saying nothing can justify the shedding of the blood of innocent people.
He commiserated with the family of the aid worker, and said the Federal Government did all within its powers to save her life.
”It is very unfortunate that it has come to this. Before and after the deadline issued by her abductors, the Federal Government did everything any responsible government should do to save the aid worker. As we have been doing since these young women were abducted, we kept the line of negotiations open all through. In all the negotiations, we acted in the best interest of the women and the country as a whole. We are deeply pained by this killing, just like we were by the recent killing of the first aid worker. However, we will keep the negotiations open and continue to work to free the innocent women who remain in the custody of their abductors,” the Minister said.
He thanked all the friendly governments that have continued to work with Nigeria for the safe release of the abducted women, and the clerics across religious lines who have been pleading for their release.
FG to arraign Senator Adeleke, four others over alleged exam malpractice on October 31st
Senator Ademola Adeleke who contested for the Osun State governorship election in September, will be arraigned at a Federal High Court Abuja on October 31, 2018, for alleged examination malpractice.
He, along with four others, will face a four-count charge for impersonation and registering as students of Ojo-Aro Community Grammar School, Ojo-Aro Osun State to enable him sit for the June/July 2017 NECO.
Charged with Adeleke are: Sikiru Adeleke, Alhaji Aregbesola Mufutau, principal of the school, Gbadamosi Thomas Ojo, school Registrar and Dare Samuel Olutope, a teacher. They will be arraigned before Justice I. E. Ekwo.
The police four weeks ago had declared Adeleke, the defeated governorship candidate of PDP in Osun, wanted over the offence and had asked him to report in the office of the Special Investigation Panel for prosecution.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are going to make Doria Ragland a grandmother for the first time, and she is so happy.
According to People, this was confirmed by the Kensington Palace in a statement which said that the 62-year-old mother of the Duchess of Sussex is “very happy” with the news of the pregnancy.
“Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” the statement read.
And this comes hours after the palace announced that the couple is expecting.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” the statement said.
People further adds that the Duchess has had her 12-week scan and is “feeling well.”

An Islamic teacher, Abdulrazak Adeniyi, has accused his wife, Barakat, of child abandonment and adultery, sequel to which he has sued for divorce.
Abdulrazak narrated to the court: “Just five months after Barakat gave birth to our first child, I discovered that she stopped breastfeeding the baby without notifying me.
“Within a twinkle of an eye, Barakat’s ex-lover started visiting her in my own home, especially anytime I was not around.
“Shortly, Barakat became pregnant and she shamefully abandoned my house because I had stopped making love with her by then.
“This is the reason the baby started feeding on custard and milk, which I usually provide.
“In fact, anytime I went to give Barakat money for the baby’s feeding, I usually see her secret lover in the same room with her.
“Therefore, Barakat is a pathological liar for branding me as irresponsible.
“I want to pray this honourable court to give me custody of the baby because I am capable of taking care of him in my school,” Abdulrazak said.
Earlier, Barakat, in her petition, had accused her husband of gross irresponsibility.
Barakat, a petty trader, told the court that her husband no longer loved her.
“My lord, Abdulrazak is such a wicked husband who doesn’t care about what happens to me and our child.
“For two weeks, he may not even ask about the baby’s welfare,” Barakat told the court.
The Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, where the case was determined on Monday, eventually dissolved the two-year marriage between Barakat and Abdulrazak over acts of infidelity and irresponsibility.
The court’s President, Suleiman Apanpa, held that the court took its decision in consonance with the wish and resolution of both parties, Barakat and Abdulrazak.
Apanpa held that, “In the interest of peace and tranquility, the union between Bakarat and Adulrazak has ceased to be.
“Custody of the one-and-a-half year-old child of the union is awarded to Barakat, while Abdulrazak shall pay a monthly allowance of N5,000 for the child’s upkeep.
“In addition, Abdulrazak is directed to give adequate attention to the child’s education and general welfare,” Apanpa said.
Quavo claims he slept with Nicki Minaj on new track ‘Huncho Dreams’
HipHop rapper, Quavo who recently released his album “Quavo Huncho” has got fans thinking after he made claims that he slept with queen of HipHop, Nicki Minaj.
The rapper made the claim in “Huncho Dreams” which is an obvious response to Nicki Minaj’s “Barbie Dreams” – in her song, Nicki jokes about sleeping with rappers in the industry.
She says of Quavo:
“Somebody go and make sure Karrueche okay though / I heard she think I’m tryna give the coochie to Quavo.”
Now, Quavo has hit back at Nicki by responding with an entire song dedicated to her.

Snake pastor feeds congregation dog meat and frogs to heal HIV and cancer
South African ‘Snake Pastor’, Penuel Mnguni, has in his latest controversial move, fed his congregation dog meat and blood which he claimed would heal them from HIV/ Aids and cancer.
Photos of members eating the dog neat and frog was shared on the church’s Facebook’s page, TimesLIVE reported. The viral video shows the Snake Pastor giving dog meat to his church members to cure them from HIV, before showing the slaughtered dogs.
In the footage, which was titled Sunday Live Holy Communion Service, the snake pastor is heard saying: “So this is the bones of a dog. So if you want to take one home, you can take it. It’s the flesh of Jesus Christ. It’s no more a dog. I prayed for this bones.”
On Saturday, another post was shared, which showed the pastor serving frogs and rats to his church members.
“It is that time again, where we partake from our Father’s table without asking no question. Apostle Paul said it clearly; eat without asking no question,” the post started off.

“Boko Haram to keep Leah as slave for life, as another aide worker gets executed” – New media report
In a new report by a Nigerian news site, TheCable, Nigeria’s most notorious terrorist group, Boko Haram have vowed to keep Leah Sharibu for life and have according to the report, executed an aide worker.
The report reads in part,
The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a faction of Boko Haram, has executed Hauwa Leman, an aide worker with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), TheCable has been informed.
The terrorists also vowed to keep Leah Sharibu, the Dapchi schoolgirl, as “a slave for life”, TheCable exclusively gathered.
In a short clip seen by a special correspondent of The Cable, Leman was forced to kneel down, with her hands tied inside a white hijab which has a crest symbol, and then shot at a close range.
In September 2018, the insurgent group killed Saifura Ahmed, one of the three humanitarian workers abducted in Rann, Kala Balge local government area of Borno state, in March 2018, in a similar manner.
Leman, a 24-year-old nurse and student of health education at the University of Maiduguri, was in the group that was abducted.
Four soldiers, four policemen and three humanitarian aid workers were killed in the attack.

Conductor pushes visually-impaired man away from bus over N100 (Photos)
This afternoon in Lagos, a blind man who was about to board a commercial bus was reportedly pushed out by the conductor who felt he couldn’t afford the 100 Naira bus fare.
According to an eye witness report, the blind man was close to the bus when suddenly the driver shouted at the conductor not to let him in.
The blind man who already had one foot and his stick in the bus, was immediately pushed out by the conductor and in the process almost broke the walking stick.
The eyewitness said she then asked the driver why he did such. He replied that the man won’t pay.
“Ah! I know them na! Him no go pay!” he shouted. “If you no wan enter make you dey go” he added and they drove off.
The eyewitness later led the man to the next bus, which she paid for.
