The Lagos State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has issued a warning to commuters to desist from throwing wastes out of moving vehicles, saying defaulters may be sanctioned with N5,000 fine.
The statement was issued by SP Adedotun Abayomi, an officer of the Command in a recent interview saying the command would intensify its efforts in curbing the unwanted situation, stating that there was an initial sanction and fine on anyone caught in the act, which could cause accidents on the roads.
“Dropping off things from a moving vehicle is totally wrong and it is an offence known as ‘failure to cover unstable materials’, and it comes with N5,000 fine. People need to stop throwing things off moving vehicles, drivers should encourage their passengers to use the dustbin in the vehicle instead of throwing them out,’’ he said.
Abayomi stated that the Command has received lots of complaints from the street sweepers in the state expressing their dissatisfaction on account of such act which according to them could lead to fatalities.
Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and his queen, Olori Silekunola Naomi to congratulate them on their wedding which held last week.

A South African man from Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal was arrested on Friday for alleged bestiality after his neighbour caught him penetrating her pet cat.
Prem Balram‚ for security firm Reaction Unit South Africa‚ said that the man’s neighbour had raised the alarm after she caught the suspect fully naked while he was having sex with the cat.
“She informed the controller on duty that her neighbour was having sex with her pet cat.
“The woman had walked to his residence to investigate when she found the naked man holding the cat by rear legs and penetrating the animal‚” he said.
“The woman informed our officers that she wanted the man removed from the premises. Officers entered the home and found him dressing‚” he said.
In the statement made to Times Live, Balram added that the SPCA had been called to attend to the injured animal.

A 20-year-old sales boy has reportedly been arrested and paraded after he sodomized two boys in Akure, Ondo state.
Ebuka Okafor, who had sex with the boys after which he paid them N200 to for their silence, was nabbed by a vigilante group at the Oja-Oshodi area of Akure as he was about to be lynched.

According to Sahara Reporters, Awili disclosed that the boy was about to be lynched by the community before the vigilante group rescued him. He was dragged to the Deji’s palace before he was handed over to the NSCDC for proper investigation.
He said:
Okafor was almost beaten to death before the Deji of Akure intervened and ordered that the boy be brought to the NSCDC office for interrogation.
And during our interrogation with him, the boy confessed to the crime, stating that he defiled the two boys aged 12 and 13 years old. He told us this would not be the first time that he would be sleeping with the two boys.”
During interrogation, Okafor confessed to committing sodomy and said he regretted his action. He also disclosed that he had been sleeping with the two boys for the past two months.

Nigerian top singer, Davido’s sister, Sharon Adeleke-Ademefun, who had her baby shower few months ago has welcomed a baby girl with her husband who they’ve christened Zoe.
The singer’s sister held her daughter’s naming ceremony yesterday which was attended by family and friends.
Though some may know her first as top singer, Davido’s sister, Sharon Ademefun (nee Adeleke) is a Mother and a Mogul in her own right.
She is the brains behind Rona Wigs Studio, a business focused on hairpieces and extensions.
The body of Efemena Okedi, wife of late Reggae star, Ras Kimono, was on Friday laid to rest at Atan cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
Okedi was Kimono’s manager and a member of his band when they were alive.
She passed away on June 10, at a Lagos hospital shortly after the death of her husband.
The late Efe was buried at exactly 10.45 a.m. in a solemn mood amid tears from friends and family.
The officiating minister at the internment, Pastor Emmanuel Ajomafuwe, described the deceased as an epitome of love and asked people to give praise to God for a life well spent.
He encouraged the family to make good decisions as a result of the death of their beloved.
“Death is inevitable. It is the most grievous enemy of humans that can’t be killed. Our sister and mother has gone to rest with Christ Jesus,” he said.
He admonished everyone to turn away from evil and sow a seed of love always because no one knew when death would come.
“God wants us to live a life worthy of emulation like Okedi did,” he said.
Some members of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), were present to pay their last respect to Okedi.
Speaking with NAN, one of them, Sir Boj described the deceased as a very loving and selfless woman.
“It was very painful when I heard the news of her death. She was a very good friend and mother full of love and compassion,” he said.
Similarly, Sunny Igwe, a keyboard player in late Ras kimono’s band, described her as a good mother and manager.
“Her death is still a shock to me. She was caring and she guided me through many things.
“She was patient enough for me to learn most of the things I know in music today.
“Easy going and humble, and I don’t think there will be any other like her again. May her soul rest in perfect peace,” he said.
Her husband, Ras Kimono died after a brief illness and was laid to rest on Aug. 28, in Asaba.
Okedi was the third and closest wife of Ras Kimono.

They are all accused of hacking international companies’ emails, learning about their business partners and then using duplicate websites to fraud them.
According to a police source, the Danish police warned their Turkish counterparts through Interpol back in May that a Denmark-based Turkish company’s e-mail system was breached and more than $1.4 million, as well as fake invoices, were sent to a front company in Turkey.
It was gathered that the company paid money into some accounts in Turkey, and an investigation by Turkish Cybercrime Department led to the arrest of Otunba Cash and his gang members including the Turkish ED, ZI and N.M, whose companies were used as fonts.

Twin sisters, Hassana and Hussaina, 16, were abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Tuesday along with their elder sister at Dauran village in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The twin sisters whose wedding was slated for December, were said to have been abducted at Dauran village at their elder sister’s residence.
They were said to have visited their sister, Summaya, 20, in preparation for their wedding.
Their father, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, said the gunmen invaded their sister’s house and abducted the three of them.
“We were able to establish contacts with the kidnappers and they demanded N150 million from me. I told them I had never seen that kind of money. We have lost sleep over the incident,” he said.
The vice chairman of the local government, Alhaji Abubakar Dauran, said over 15 people were recently kidnapped in five communities within the area.

A few years ago, for example, Samsung hired supermodel Kate Upton to promote the Galaxy Note 10 launch at an event in New York City. Sounds innocent enough, but Upton was photographed using her iPhone at said event, thus defeating the purpose entirely and providing some free advertising for Apple in the process.
Well as it turns out, Samsung has seemingly had enough of these types of shenanigans. According to a report from the Mirror, Samsung filed a $1.6 million lawsuit against brand ambassador and Russian socialite Ksenia Sobchak after she was caught using an iPhone X on camera, despite her mediocre efforts to hide the phone behind a sheet of paper, reported BGR.
Even more peculiar, and damning, is that Sobchak was reportedly spotted at a number of high-profile social events using her personal iPhone as well. The report makes a point of noting that Sobchak “is required by contract to appear in public with her Samsung smartphone.”
Of course, Samsung suing Sobchak might only serve to further embarrass the company by bringing the story into the limelight. It will certainly be interesting to see how Sobchak responds to the suit and if Samsung will aggressively go after her.
At the very least, Sobchak finds herself in a rather good company. In recent years, there has been no shortage of celebrities paid to endorse the Android brand who were ultimately found to be iPhone users. Most recently, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot was caught hyping up the Huawei Mate 10 Pro via a tweet sent out from her iPhone.
A Nigerian fraudster identified as Otunba Cash has been arrested in Turkey, following a sting operation in connection with a $1.4m e-mail scam.
The Nigerian fraudster who is also the CEO of Instanbul Entertainment, was arrested after the Danish police sent a letter to Turkish Police Department on 9 May 2018, via Interpol, that an unauthorized access was made to one GM Plast company’s e-mail address.
It was gathered that the company paid money into some accounts in Turkey, and an investigation byTurkish Cybercrime Department led to the arrest of Turkish ED, ZI and N.M, whose companies were used as fonts.
The investigation further revealed that Nigerians are behind the scam and a simultaneous operations the police conducted in Istanbul on 18 October, led to the arrest of Emanuel Aneke at a luxury hotel he was staying with gang members O. Popoola, AA Oyemade, AT Fajolu and BO Balogun in Bağcılar.
Otunba Cash who hacked the emails of the big companies that made international trades, and then cloned payment advises, tricked the companies into making payments into their font companies. The Police confiscated 17 mobile phones, 15 sim cards, 3 flash memory, 4 computers, 1 memory card, $85k, €5k, 5 necklaces, 3 bracelets, 2 handcuffs, 2 rings, 1 earring, Rolex watch, numerous crime documents and a luxury car from the Nigerian fraudster.

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, yesterday, took to Twitter to share an ‘update’ of her friend getting married, and she was told she might be intimidating prospective husband with being rich and famous.
Twitter user @Fortune_decent, who reacted to tweet of Toke Makinwa’s friend getting married, wrote;
“Aunty Toke men might be scared approaching you because ur pretty wealthy and famous they might feel u would not submit when u become a wife u know how African men are insecurity problems”.
However debunking claims of intimidating her prospective husband, Toke Makinwa wrote;
“We don’t need weak men. A strong woman should not intimidate you, a powerful woman should excite you, push you out of your comfort zone and make you want to be more.
“A strong woman should make you proud of her, knowing that if anything happens she has all it takes to get down and fix shit. If she intimidates you, you are weak and simply short sighted”.
