@LapeBelle must be really proud of herself after she discovered the amount of money that she’s been saving in her ‘kolo’ (piggy bank).
Lately, there’s been news of people finding next to nothing after breaking their savings box and @LapeBelle didn’t want her story to be the same and so she broke her box.
She decided to share what she discovered afterwards and it’s quite amazing.

Let me commence by thanking you profusely for the honour and privilege of serving under your inspirational leadership. It has been a truly rewarding experience to learn from you and to observe at close quarters your integrity and sense of duty.
I have, today, become privy to the findings of the investigation into the allegation made in an online medium that the Certificate of Exemption from National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) that I had presented was not genuine. This has come as a shock to me and I believe that in line with this administration’s focus on integrity, I must do the honourable thing and resign.
Your Excellency, kindly permit me to outline some of the background to this matter. I was born and raised in the United Kingdom, indeed my parental family home remains in London. My visits to Nigeria up until the age of thirty-four (34) were holidays, with visas obtained in my UK passport. I obtained my first Nigerian passport at the age of thirty-four (34) and when I relocated there was debate as to whether NYSC Law applied to me. Upon enquiry as to my status relating to NYSC, I was informed that due to my residency history and having exceeded the age of thirty (30), I was exempted from the requirement to serve. Until recent events, that remained my understanding.
On the basis of that advice and with the guidance and assistance of those, I thought were trusted associates, NYSC were approached for documentary proof of status. I then received the certificate in question. Having never worked in NYSC, visited the premises, been privy to nor familiar with their operations, I had no reason to suspect that the certificate was anything but genuine. Indeed, I presented that certificate at the 2011 Ogun State House of Assembly and in 2015 for Directorate of State Services (DSS) Clearance as well as to the National Assembly for screening. Be that as it may, as someone totally committed to a culture of probity and accountability I have decided to resign with effect from Friday, 14th September, 2018.
Your Excellency, It has been an exceptional privilege to have served our nation under your leadership and to have played a role in steering our economy at a very challenging time. I am proud that Nigeria has brought discipline into its finances, has identified and is pursuing a path to long term sustainable growth that will unlock the potential in this great economy. Under your leadership, Nigeria was able to exit recession and has now started to lay the foundations for lasting growth and wealth creation. Repositioning this huge economy is not a short term task and there are no short cuts, indeed there are tough decisions still to be made but I have no doubt that your focus on infrastructural investment, revenue mobilisation and value for money in public expenditure will deliver growth, wealth and opportunity for all Nigerians.
I thank His Excellency, the Vice President and my colleagues in the Federal Executive Council for the huge pleasure and honour of working with them. I also thank most specially, the team in the ‘Finance Family’ of advisers and heads of agencies under the Ministry of Finance. Your Excellency, this group of committed Nigerians represent a range of backgrounds, ethnicities and ages. They have worked well above and beyond the call of duty to support me in the tasks assigned. Nigerian topnotch singer, Davido has reacted to the reports that the EFCC has reportedly frozen seven different bank accounts of the Adeleke family, including that of Osun state PDP governorship aspirant Isiaka Adeleke, Davido’s billionaire father.
According to a tweet shared by ChangeTheChange (PDP Twitter handle) which Davido has since retweeted and dropped comments like, ‘Make dem go Wells Fargo for Atlanta na’.

A Facebook user, with the name Tayo Dotun Anuife – Gbolahan who has been married for 2 years made a controversial post recently to a Facebook group and it has had people talking ever since.
According to Tayo, women who lost their virginity before meeting their husband should go back to their parents house.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are getting married, and its quite sooner than we thought as reports making the rounds online reveal that they’ll be saying “I do” as early as next week.
According to TMZ, Justin and Hailey’s wedding is most likely to hold out of the country in a super small ceremony.
Ahead of their dream wedding, Justin and Hailey showed up at the courthouse in NYC Thursday and beelined it for the Marriage Bureau.

The Registrar of Covenant University, Dr. Olumuyiwa Oludayo, has been sacked by the management of the University, following the multiple dramas on social media involving a student who took the University to court, and some other female students.

About two days ago, a Covenant University student who was allegedly framed up and expelled after spending 5 years in the school, took the institution to court and won the case against them.
Following his victory, he went online to expose a lot of things supposedly going on in the school and the people involved.
In a thread which has since been taken down, Mr. Adooh Emmanuel shared how he was expelled after he was done with his final exams and his project.
Everyone had discouraged him he couldn’t win the case in court because others before him have tried and lost – the school itself also allegedly boasted of the same thing.
Subsequently, his father involved SAN Falana and they were able to win in court.
Exposing the things going on in the institution, Adooh called names and gave the Twitter handle of one of them. He, however, mentioned that Bishop Oyedepo has nothing to do with the corruption going on there, instead, it is the fault of the people he left in charge.

Following the scandal which has been a major topic on social media, Chancellor of Covenant University, Bishop Oyedepo who addressed students during the Thursday chapel service for 100 and 200 level students warned against having an “intimate ally”, a phrase used by the registrar in the leaked chats. He also revealed that Covenant University, currently, has no registrar at the moment.

Davido has proposed to his lover, Chioma on Instagram.. and She’s accepted, and says she’s ready to get hitched to her famous singer-lover.

Motunrayo Anikulapo-Kuti has declared that she dislikes Davido and his music.
Motunrayo spoke with showtime, and she explained that her dislike for the singer grew after an encounter last week. She said;

A Nigerian pastor who is based in Lusaka, Zambia, Prophet Andrew Ejimadu popularly known as SEER 1, has been captured on camera vomiting ‘miracle money” during a church service in Limpopo, South Africa.
In the video, the pastor can be seen showing his members a bag which is empty… he asks his members to take a close look at the bag before he then goes on to the pulpit where he performs his miracle.
After inhaling and exhaling into the cotton bag which he uses in covering his whole face, the pastor can be seen bringing out money from his mouth before pouring the rest on the floor.
Nigerian media personality, Denola Grey, has just the response for people who say his mannerism is just like that of a woman.
According to Denola Grey, the claim gets to him but he also realized that taking it as an offense was a huge problem as well.
He concluded his tweet by stating that he has tried to get the jigsaw puzzle of what masculinity should be, but found it was ultimately empty.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has raised alarm over threats to his family.
According to Atiku, his wife and daughter have received threat messages from unknown persons who have vowed to get them raped and killed if he doesn’t back out from the presidnetial race.
In a petition titled “Petition Over Criminal Intimidation And Threat To My Life, That Of Members Of My Family, And Cyber Stalking Using Mobile Phone Number 08148228704,” which he wrote to President Buhari on September 7th, Atiku requested more police protection for his family and himself from the president, disclosing that he, his wife and daughters had received separate text messages from a mobile line stating that unless he backs out of the race, his family members would be raped and killed.
He noted that he received a threat text message on his mobile line on September 8th this year, and said the same number sent rape and death threats to his wife and daughter. He said the author of the text message he got on September 8 this year said he or she was watching Atiku’s family and that they would rape and kill his wife, Jennifer, as well as his daughters, Maryam and Fatimah.
The former vice president called on President Buhari to order an urgent investigation into the matter, as it could lead to serious security breaches.
The petition reads
“I present my highest compliments to the president and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and have the honour to request your excellency’s kind review/investigation and urgent consideration of extra protection for my family and I against some criminal intimidation and threat to my life, that of my family, and the cyber stalking against my family and I, using telephone mobile number +2348148228704.”
Atiku, in the petition, said the author threatened that if he did not withdraw from the presidential contest, “we will kill, rape your wife and daughters”, whom they identified as Mariam, who worked at Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and Fatima, a former commissioner in Adamawa State.
The petition also stated that the author threatened to “mess up his wife”, whom they used unsavoury expressions against. He listed some of threats to include:
“We will blow your plane off the sky and we will poison you and your family. You are going to see what we will go with your family. We know where and where your children travel to. We will blow up all your properties and those of his wife. We control the aviation towers in Nigeria and South Africa. We are on government and Buhari will win again. Your party members will never select you and, if they do, we will assassinat (sic) you. We will kill you by blowing up your plane.” he wrote
In separate text messages to Atiku’s wife and daughter, the anonymous person told them to prevail on Atiku to back down from the contest or they will be harmed. The former vice president, however, said,
“From the foregoing, Mr President can see that if adequate and urgent steps are not taken to identify and deal with these threats, it could lead to serious breaches and may constitute real danger to national security. Considering that these threats border on the right of my family and I to life as well as my freedom to aspire for and contest for the presidency in Nigeria, I urge you to commence urgent investigation with a view to identifying the person (s) behind the threat, expose and prosecute the culprit (s) in accordance with the laws. “I request that you ensure the continued protection of my rights to life, that of my family, my property and my rights and freedoms to associate and aspire to any political office as guaranteed under the 1999 Nigerian constitution (as amended),” he stated in his petition

A Ghanaian boxer was heartbroken and at the same time shocked, after a DNA test revealed that he’s not the father of his 14-year-old son.
IBO Lightweight Champion, Emmanuel Tagoe aka Gameboy had been fathering for 14 years does not belong to him.
The Ghanaian boxer was dragged to an Accra Circuit Court by one Diana Otoo, mother of the child, citing neglect of paternal duties. The 29-year-old claims he had always felt suspicious a conspiracy by the family of the woman who, he says plotted to siphon money from him.
Tagoe insisted he had always paid GH¢500 as monthly stipend for the upkeep of his supposed son but the family insisted that he should pay more.
Speaking to Saddick Adams on Atinka TV’s Sports Court show, Tagoe said the lady’s family had taken him through hell, and only wanted to damage his reputation through blackmail. He said;
“These people have really made me suffer. If not for my mum, I would have done this DNA test long ago but anytime I mentioned, she insisted I accept the child. I was paying GH¢500 a month but they could come out anytime and take money that the child was sick.
Already, I was taking care of the child but I was shocked when they started demanding more money. They even demanded that I send the child to the same school where Asamoah Gyan’s children were schooling but I didn’t have that kind of money”
In July 2018, the family of Ms Otoo contacted Atinka FM’s Sports Court show with documents from DOVVSU and an Accra Court indicating that Tagoe was suppose to pay them an amount of money but has refused.
Tagoe however decided for a DNA test, the result of which proved he was not the father. See what he said after the test;
“I was very sure that this boy was not mine but my mum had gagged me. We were young when I was playing ‘Pilolo’ with the girl. We were just standing and I had sex with her. I didn’t even ejaculate but her family came home later to say the girl is pregnant for me.
The court asked me if I can sue them for damages but I have left everything to God. Everything I gave to the child, I won’t take it back. He deserves it, not the mother. The most important thing is that, now I am free”.
Davido’s US fans are not happy with him, following the sudden announcement that he’s canceled the remainder of his U.S. tour.

The Imo state police command arrested two Nigerian men, identified as Onumajuru Victor, 20, and Chibike Chikere, 25, for abducting a 19-year-old girl named, Debora Ginikachukwu and raping her.
According to the police, a gang of five armed men kidnapped the victim and took her to their hide-out on August 29, 2018.
However, operatives of the Imo State police command, acting on a credible intelligence, rescued Debora unhurt and subsequently arrested the above named suspects in possession of her handset.
The suspects unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the victim while in captivity. They have made useful statements and are helping the Police in the investigation.
Iconic Rhythm and Blues singer, R Kelly has been accused of sexually abusing and impregnating his 14 year old cousin – the superstar who has been accused in the past of being a pedophile is now being accused again by his own brother of impregnating his 14 year old cousin.
In a recent interview, the singer’s brother claimed that the singer paid family members to come and clean his home. Carey Kelly claims that one such person was a 14 year old cousin.
According to R Kelly’s bro, the singer would take her in his room and close the door. Carey claims that he later found out that R Kelly was having s*x with this cousin and she later had a child.
Carey believes that the child is R Kelly’s, even though no DNA test was taken.
The brother said;
