Here is the video of the wife of the Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, telling youths to seek the counsel of their pastors first before parents, when they are about to get married.
Speaking at the ongoing National Youth Convention of the church, Pastor Folu’s statement quickly went round social media and was met with mixed reactions.
In the video, she says;
“Why Pastor first before parents? because in the body of Christ, there must not be any confusion. Probably someone has come to tell the Pastor that ‘oh, this particular girl belongs to me, oh i have prayed, God has chosen her’ and you now get to the Pastor and the girl you said God has shown to you, 2 or 4 boys had come to the Pastor, i don’t think in the body of Christ, there should be confusion where God is leading”
The shares of Italian giants has dropped amid Cristiano Ronaldo’s rape allegations, after the club stood by the Portuguese star.
Ronaldo’s move to Juventus in the summer gave the Italian champions a huge boost, both on and off the field, as they continue their bid for a first Champions League title since 1996.
On September 20, shares rose 180 percent to a record level of over 1.80 euros.

The Central Bank Of Nigerian barns people from spraying money at parties or risk going to jail or pay a fine of 50,000 naira.
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) spokesman Isaac Okorafor who announced the ban on spraying on money at parties, said those who “spray” naira notes at parties risk going to jail for six months or earning a fine of N50,000 after trial by mobile courts that would be deployed nationwide.
According to him, the police and the Ministry of Justice would be involved in the operation. He said;
“If a celebrant is dancing and you spray him/her, you may go to jail from the party venue because the law enforcement agents will be there, waiting to arrest you.
It is the duty of law enforcement agencies to catch offenders and take them to court. Our collaboration with the police will intensify as we move to implement the mobile court for offenders.”
“If you want to give, put the money in an envelop, and give it the celebrant. Let’s know that anybody hawking and writing on the naira will face six months in jail or N50,000 or both.”
Also commenting on the ban, the Managing Director of First Securities Discount House (FSDH) Merchant Bank Mrs. Handa Ambah added that those who sell the Naira will also be punished.
“We need to let them know that this is money. The fact that you cannot spray money at parties does not mean that you cannot put money in an envelope and pass it to the celebrants.”
Recall that yesterday, in a tweet posted to RCCG’s official handle, Pastor Folu advised the youths during her session that they should seek the counsel of their pastors first before their parents when they decide they want to get married.
“There should be no confusion in the house of God. You have to go to your Pastor first to consult for marriage before your parent.” She said.
Her statement quickly went round social media and was met with mixed reactions. Daddy Freeze as expected took to his Instagram to react.

A 4-year-old child is believed to have witnessed his mother being shot and killed – according to the Houston police, the child saw his mom killed in an apparent murder-suicide at a motel in west Houston.
Officials say the boy went down to the lobby around 12:30 a.m. and told the hotel staff his mother had been shot by a man. His mother, 23-year-old Brittany Smith, died instantly from gunshot wounds.
A security guard went to the room on the third floor to investigate and when he got no response, he opened the door to find the woman and a man both dead from gunshot wounds.
Police are not identifying the suspected killer, but says that they believe that he was “known” to Brittany.
The boy was not injured, however he was transported to the hospital as a precaution since he was upset.
Smith and a man she had had a relationship with had been fighting over the phone for the past few weeks, according to family members. Smith’s family members said the man was a Marine who unexpectedly arrived in Houston from California on Tuesday night.
Nigerian author, Reno Omokri, in one of his ‘nuggets’ on Twitter, has said should one be a poor person in his lifetime, that person shouldn’t transfer the poverty to his children.

A Liberian man has accused a Nigerian senator of physical assault – according to Nana Doe who claims he worked for Erhiawarie Eferakeya, a Delta State Senator, he wasn’t paid for his six months of service.
He then claims that when he asked for his pay, he was brutally beaten.

No fewer than 81,481 persons are living with the dreadful virus called human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in Ondo State, a top health official said.
Dr Sani Aliu, the Director-General of the National Agency for Control of Aids (NACA), confirmed this on Thursday in Ondo, Ondo West Local Government Area of the state.
Aliu said this when he paid a visit to Oba Victor Kiladejo, the Osemawe of Ondo, in order to seek the king’s support to mobilise his subjects for NACA survey in the area.
The survey is tagged: Nigeria Aids Indicator and Impact Survey.
The NACA DG, who was represented by Mrs Josephine Kalu, the Director of Resource Mobilisation of NACA, said that 10,000 persons out of the affected persons were on treatment.
“Based on spectrum estimate we have, 81,481 persons that are living with HIV in Ondo State as at 2017 and out of the figure 10,000 persons are on treatment including 2,783 pregnant women.
“Also, the estimate for new HIV infection is 5,439 persons,” he said.
According to him, the survey is the largest HIV population based survey in Nigeria being supported by the U.S. and Global Funds.
He added that the survey was important for proper planning and development of strategies that would lead to eradication of HIV and hepatitis B and hepatitis C.
“The focus of the survey is able to gather data that will help to fight current level of HIV and hepatitis B and hepatitis C as we are looking at 2030 for a HIV-free generation.
“We cannot but have data that can be effectively used to fight these,” he said.
Aliu, therefore, enjoined more domestic resources to curb HIV.
Pastor Foluke Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, has given marital advice to people who are looking forward to getting married.
According to Pastor Foluke Adeboye, a man needs to get a job before getting married, or else his wife will fall out of love with him when he falls out of cash.
At the day 4 of the Church’s annual youth convention, Pastor Foluke, who is popularly referred to as Mummy G.O, also gave advice to people whose marriage might be facing some crisis.

“The foundation of marriage must be on God and God only.
What is not of God is not good. Those who walk in the way of the Lord are undefiled.
There should be no deceit in courtship.
Don’t marry a wife on credit.
Whatever you can afford is what you should do. Cut your coat according to your cloth (not your size).

The problem we have today is that Youths don’t want to be accountable.

In recent time, there has been emphasis on the need to participate in the one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme mandated under the enabling Act.
The calls amidst the recent realities of sacks, resignations and disqualifications (among others) of political leaders who became graduates at and/or before the age of thirty but failed to participate in the scheme.
The mandatory NYSC scheme is governed by several codes and ethics, the violation of which attracts penalties, ranging from extension of service year to termination of service year and prosecution among other disciplinary actions to be determined by the designated and/or empowered officials of the Scheme.
David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently put in for the mandatory NYSC program sequel to his graduation from the University before the age of thirty. Consequently, he was mobilised to the Iyana Ipaja, Lagos Orientation Camp of the Scheme but has since taken off to do other things.
Davido is widely acknowledged and popular both home and abroad. That said, can we conclude that the George Orwell’s view about the society by his book ‘Animal farm’ is in play? Whence, he said by several allegorical syllogism: “All animals are equal but some are more equal than the other”. In other words, it seems we are all equal before the law but some are more equal than others. The question is; is Davido above all other Corps members currently participating in the program to the extent that he cannot be sanctioned, queried and/or at least cautioned if found wanting?
Davido, 26, was one of the 2,152 Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members sworn-in at the NYSC orientation camp at Iyana Ipaja in August, 2018. Since Davido joined the Scheme, the Following are the SEVEN NYSC Rules of engagement broken by him:
1. Davido was brought into the Orientation camp a chauffeur Driven White exotic car and drove amidst fanfare among other corps members and obviously protected by security guides.
2. Davido left the Orientation camp and never participated in the activities of NYSC at the camp.
The Pop star left the orientation camp to Boston in United States ahead of his ‘Locked Up’ Concert. Afterward, he performed at the opening
day of Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, United States.
3. After leaving the orientation camp, Davido never returned.
4. Davido’s Primary Place of Assignment is unknown.
5. Davido did not report promptly to his Primary Place of Assignment or participate in activities at his secondary place of assignment.
6. Davido continues to engage in his private practice as a musician.
7. Davido fully participated in politics during the recently concluded governorship elections in Osun State.
It is noteworthy that the above listed offences attract both light and heavy penalties if some of the offences considered as reconcilable are not met with the attached condition precedents.
Davido violated the provisions of Section 3(I)(15) of the NYSC Bye-Laws (18/19), Section 3(III)(2, 3, 5 6, 7,12, 14)) of the NYSC Bye-Laws (18/19), and Section 4(9) of the NYSC Bye-Laws (18/19). For ease of reference, I hereunder reproduce the contents of the cited sections of the Bye Laws:
Section 3(I)(15) of the Bye laws provides as follows:
During the Period of orientation, every member shall not bring vehicles or motorcycles into the orientation camp.
Any member who brings vehicles or motorcycles to camp shall not be registered, and if already registered, shall be decamped
ii) Such member shall only be allowed to return to service to join the next batch in the orientation camp.
Section 3(III)(2, 3, 5 6, 7,12, 14) of the NYSC Bye-Laws (1993) Provides as follows:
During the Period of Primary Assignment, every member shall:
2. Not be late to report at duty station
Any member who reports late at duty station shall be tried by the Corps Disciplinary Committee and if found guilty, be liable to extension of service on half pay double the period he is late to station. Any member who reports late at duty station shall be tried by the Corps Disciplinary Committee and if found guilty, be liable to extension of service on half pay double the period he is late to station
3. Not fail to report to duty punctually.
Any member who reports late for duty shall be queried by his employer and the report sent to the State Coordinator for disciplinary action.
4. Not fail to carry out duties diligently
Any member who fails to carry out his duties diligently shall be queried by his employer and the report sent to the State Coordinator for disciplinary action.
5. leave his duty station or absent himself from any official activity without the written consent of the State Coordinator.
Any member who leaves his duty station or absents himself from any official activity without the permission of the State Coordinator shall be tried by the Corps Disciplinary Committee and, if found guilty, be liable to extension of service with half pay double the period of absence.
6. Not travel outside the State without written permission of the State Coordinator.
Any member who travels outside the State without the written permission of the State Coordinator shall be tried by the Corps Disciplinary Committee and, if found guilty, be liable to forfeiture of allowance for the number of days absent and extension of service with half pay double the period of absence.
7. Not engage in private practice
Any member who engages in private practice shall be tried by the Corps Disciplinary Committee and, if found guilty, be liable on conviction to extension of service for a period not less than twenty one (21) days without pay.
8. Not travel outside Nigeria without the written permission of the Director-General
Any member who travels outside Nigeria without the written permission of the Director-General shall be tried by the Corps Disciplinary Committee and, if found guilty, be liable to extension of service without pay double the period of absence
Section 4(9) of the NYSC Bye-Laws (1993) Provides as follows:
Every member shall Not take part in partisan politics.
Any member who takes part in partisan politics is liable to extension of service for a period not less than three (3) months without pay.
It is clear from the above-cited provisions of the NYSC byelaws and the facts earlier relayed that Davido is in breach of the rules guiding the NYSC scheme.
Even if we were to assume that Davido obtained permission for all his engagements, the question to ask is how much permission can he take during his continuous participation in the scheme? By section 6(2) of the enabling law, Davido cannot get more than 14 days leave of absence during the entire program.
Davido similarly went overboard when he wore PDP attires and campaigned from town to town for his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, despite being a corps member in active service.
Despite all the breaches, there is no record to show that Davido has been queried, sanctioned, brought before a court, suspended and/or cautioned in any way by the NYSC management. The inference to be drawn is that Davido is above the law or above all other corps members. The Lagos State NYSC coordinator and the Director General of the NYSC clearly owe Nigerians some explanations.

A newly completed hostel near Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Anambra state capital, collapsed yesterday. Fortunately no life was lost.
It was gathered that the new building was awaiting rentage by the students before it collapsed yesterday afternoon.
Laborers and others working on the building ran for their lives.
This is coming after a four story building collapsed some months ago in Owelle-Aja layout Obosi, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The structure, located off Tony Eze Street, was said to have collapsed shortly before the construction workers resume work.
A resident of the area, who gave her name as Obiageli, described the soil texture of the area as soft and easily washed away by the rain.

Man.United has been poor this season with only one victory in five games, they’ll welcome Newcastle to Old Trafford on Saturday, and if they eventually lose to the upcoming game coach, Jose Mourinho may get into a serious trouble.
United legend Paul Ince believes Mourinho could be sacked if his team are defeated by Newcastle.
“If they lose on Saturday evening, particularly if it’s a bad loss, there will be a decision made on Jose Mourinho’s future very quickly,” Ince told Paddy Power.
“If they don’t get a result against Newcastle this weekend, Jose Mourinho is in real danger.
“He won’t walk, because that’s not in his character. I hate the thought of Jose being sacked.
“But, If you’re not picking up results and there’s this black cloud hanging around Old Trafford, your time as manager is running out.
The signs are not looking good for him. The fact is, United are no better off than they were before Mourinho.
“In the past, you’d say United aren’t the kind of club to just sack a manager.
“But it seems that is what they’re like now.”
Ince also claimed that some players are trying to get Mourinho sacked by not playing for him.
“It baffles me that Manchester United players are choosing when they want to put effort into playing for their club,” he added.
“Every player in the shirt should be putting in effort and showing desire, even if you don’t get the result.
“There’s no excuse for not putting in effort. These are professional footballers, on astronomical wages, playing for one of the biggest clubs ever.
“It doesn’t sit right with me that it looks like they can’t be bothered.
Yes, there might be a couple of players who are trying – but you need the whole team to be contributing. It looks to me as though they’re not interested in playing for Jose Mourinho anymore.
“When I played for the club, I saw it as an honour and although I didn’t always play well, no one could ever accuse me of not putting the work in.
“What I find disappointing is those players are happy for Mourinho to take the blame.
They should be admitting the fact that they are responsible for the way they’re playing. They’re throwing him under the bus, despite putting in poor performances every week. And they’re getting away with it.
“Some players want Man United to get beat, just so that there’s pressure on Mourinho to be sacked. The amount of times that you see a new manager go to a club and suddenly, the whole team are up for it.
“You have to question the attitude of the players.”
There’s a disturbing video of 5 teenage boys raping 2 girls, and the video went viral some days back.
According to multiple social media reports, the boys were arrested following the release of the video, but they’ve been released.. and this has generated massive outrage.
The boys, who are all reportedly below 20, allegedly invited a girl over, and order to protect herself, the girl decided to go with another friend. On getting there, they were drugged and raped and the sexual assault was filmed and later released online to shame the girls.
A Facebook user shared photos of the boys so that they may be made to face justice, but other Facebook users left a comment alleging that the boys were arrested and were released immediately.

17-year-old LaShonda Childs was shot dead by her ex-boyfriend two weeks after she took to Facebook to reveal how obsessive and abusive he was towards her.
The teenager, from Dayton, was shot on Shoop Avenue Tuesday afternoon, in Ohio, U.S. She was immediately driven to Grandview Medical Center where she died on Wednesday morning, just two days to her 18th birthday.
Her 28-year-old former boyfriend, whose name has been given as Trendell Goodwin, has been arrested in connection with the shooting. Childs called 911 before the shooting, giving the dispatcher a Shoop Avenue address and Trendell Goodwin’s name and description.
Family members said LaShonda was unable to get away from domestic violence inflicted by her former boyfriend who allegedly hit and bit her in February.
According to LaShonda’s mother, Nina Childs, Goodwin and LaShonda started dating last September. Shortly after, LaShonda realized Goodwin was not 20, as he initially told her, and Goodwin started showing concerning behaviour.
Around January and February, Goodwin bit LaShonda hard enough to draw blood, according to Nina. She said Goodwin would also steal LaShonda’s phones and harass LaShonda and her family.
Nina said:
He was the type of guy who would call you 70 times a day. Nonstop. It was aggravating as well as annoying and scary.
Even after they broke up, Goodwin continued to reach out to LaShonda.
She was really in the process of leaving,said her brother, Jaylon Childs.
LaSonda also spoke about her abusive, obsessive boyfriend in a Facebook post shared on September 21 that reads:

LaShonda filed for a protection order, but Nina said it was never served because Goodwin kept avoiding it. Nina also said that her daughter eventually confided in her about how Goodwin treated her.
LaShonda told me, ‘You know mom he made me walk from our house to his house with a gun pointed at my back. I was scared for my life as well as my family’s life.
Nina said Goodwin had posted lots of things on Facebook that he would kill LaShonda for not wanting to date him anymore.
Both Nina and her son Jaylon said they hope Goodwin spends the rest of his life in prison with no chance at parole.
Jaylon said:
Whatever happens to him, I can’t get my sister back. As long as justice is served, there may be some peace.
He also hopes that other women don’t go through the same thing his sister did.

Nigerian rapper, Juggernaut with the real name, Egbeoluwa Ademilade has lost his life after ramming his friend’s car into a truck in Lagos.
The fast rising singer, who was signed to the record label, Blak Haus Entertainment was discovered by Seun Anikulapo-Kuti.
Juggernaut once survived a ghastly accident that nearly claimed his life.
Jugger, as he was fondly called by those very close to him in the music industry, attended Corona Nursery and Primary School, Gbagada; King’s College, Lagos, got admitted to Babcock University but attained a Bachelors of Art at Evangel Christian School of America.
He started out his music career as a member and the only rapper in a group of three called the Triple X Entertainment; the other two members being May D (Moyukun Awodunmila) and Faloads (Femi Falode).
Confirming his death, 5ive Music Group and Black Haus Entertainment in a statement said;
