How do you feel about the defection of former Akwa Ibom governor, Goodwill Akpabio?
The ruling party is an occult. If I were the President, anybody that defects to my party will be the first person to be sent to jail. The ruling party will destroy this democracy; our democracy is at risk.
Whoever that wants to contest against them, they frown at it because they don’t want anybody to contest against them; these are the things they are doing.
I don’t think God is happy with Nigeria, nor its leaders; because of the blood that has been used as sacrifice, the country is not moving forward.
We need a party that will run the country now, and if PDP will give the ticket to Saraki, then he will move the country forward; they don’t need to stress themselves, but should come as one in unity and give the ticket of presidential candidate to Saraki.
Removing Saraki as the Senate President will cause trouble, I am not in support of any party but I speak as a prophet of God. Nigeria is shaking the way the steering wheel is going, lets pray that it does not sink.
What will break Nigeria?
True federalism will break Nigeria. Wrong practice of democracy and bloodbath will break the country. It will all start when a shocking referendum will be staged.
You are so particular about Saraki, what is his mission?
He will rule for just four years and put the country in order. I am talking as a prophet of God. I said in 2015 that so many things will happen in Buhari’s administration and it has happened. If PDP puts their house in order; that is what will defeat any party.
If PDP wants to do well, let them be united, and know what they are doing and do the right thing. I don’t belong to any party.
Most people who are defecting will still land in jail because judgment is coming to all Nigerian leaders. Those who are defecting now are not seeing the consequences ahead of them.
The fore-fathers of this nation are not asleep; they want to revenge, we have done a lot of blood sacrifice and that is why things are happening like this.
Another set of three different Boko Haram is coming to Nigeria; let’s just watch and see what will happen. I fear nobody because God has sent me; anything that happens, let the will of God be done. Nobody is talking about the economy? There is poverty and hunger in the country; nobody is talking about it.
It is politics everywhere. They are just doing packaging; nobody is talking about anything that is happening to Nigerians, or how they feel.
I am not giving any opinion; there is poverty everywhere and because of this, people will vote against their conscience because this is the election of the highest bidder. People will not want to vote for the people they want, but they will vote for a temporal bail out, and that will not settle the case.

A final year B. Agric student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Abia state was found dead in his room, after he committed suicide by hanging.
The student has been identified as Louis Chigozirim Ihejirika.
According to multiple reports, the incident occurred, yesterday, at his hostel, Snow lodge, Umariaga. It was also gathered that he locked the door and closed the windows before committing the act.
When access was eventually gained into his room, Ihejirika was found dangling from the ceiling fan. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
His close friend, Nwachukwu Stella who announed his demise wrote;

A Nigerian musician based abroad, has taken to his Instagram page to share how a bullet that was shot close to his spine two years ago, finally found its way out of his body.
According to the musician, he’d gone for surgery to take out the bullet but it proved impossible because it was too close to his spine, so it lived in him for up to two years.
He then shared how the bullet miraculously got out of him, he wrote,

Nigerian comedian, Asiri Comedy, who became a viral sensation after featuring in comedy skits with comedian, Wole Arole, has shared what playing pranks fetched him.
According to Asiri Comedy who became an author recently, the pranks he played made him wet his bed till SS3.
Speaking with Punch, he said,
“Growing up, my parents were teachers; my mother was a talented geographer. She used to calculate my walking distance from home to school. I didn’t have the luxury of playing street football; I only used to watch it from the window. The only time I used to go out was on Sundays and it was to church. However, there was a day I wet my sister’s report card, which she had put on the couch. I had slept on it. At that point, I had issues with bed-wetting to the extent that they nicknamed me ‘Tomiwa.’ “I stopped bed-wetting in SS3. At the time, it was fun because it was part of my pranks. I just knew that when it was about 1 am, I must go and pee but I would not do it.
“My parents were bothered at a point and my grandma once came and brought something for me to drink, and instructed that once I drank it, I should not go outside again, but that day, I gave them double portion of bed-wetting.”
Asiri Comedy who advised parents with kids going through same, told them to stop stigmatizing their kids as it might leave their wards with low self-esteem.
“Basically, if it is a boy that has this problem, they should leave him alone. It is considered to be a medical problem but it gets to an age before it is termed as that as it could be a form of mannerism by the child.
“For instance, creative people tend to play pranks a lot which was the case for me. As for me, I used to imagine a scenario whereby my friends and I would go to play football and when we were returning in groups, there would be that one person in the gang that would say I want to pee, by resonance, I would also pee in reality.
“If you have a boy with this condition, don’t rub it in his face or stigmatise him, instead help him through it by waking him up at intervals in the night. Don’t stigmatise; if you do that, he will have low self-esteem and by the time he stops bed-wetting, the low self-esteem would still be there. Try your best to regulate it and it will resolve 90 per cent of the cases involved,” he said.
Singer, Davido’s manager, Asa Asika has refuted a controversial report that implied that the singer is member of a secret cult.
One Tobi Adegoke, a 25-year-old suspected member of the Black Axe cult, said he was lured into becoming a member of the group with promises that joining the group would grant him the rare opportunity of meeting Davido.
The story which went viral last week, shares how Tobi Adegoke fell for the cheap trick because he believed meeting Davido would boost his music career.
Tobi is a budding musician who is currently in police custody after being arrested and paraded alongside 26-other suspected cultists by the Lagos State Police Command last week Wednesday.
He had told the police:
“I am an Aiye member (Black Axe). I have been in the cult for about two years. I was told that Davido was a member and if I joined, I will be able to meet him.
It was the guy who initiated me that said so. He said he worked for Davido and that it will be easy access for me. But since I joined, I have not met Davido.
They told me I’ll become a very popular musician but see where I am now”, he was reported to have said in tears.
In a chat with Showtime, Asa Asika denied knowledge of Davido being a member of any secret cult group.
“I have no idea of what you’re talking about my brother”, he said.
Another member of Davido’s DMW crew and also Perruzi’s manager, Abiola Ridwan Sanni, a.k.a ‘Kolotainment’, also dismissed the suspect’s allegation, describing it as ‘funny’.
“The allegation is funny, so no further comments”, he said.
Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi, who lost her son in August 2017 to Sickle Cell Anemia, has recounted the challenges she’s faced so far.
According to Eucharia Anunobi who recently organised a memorial service for her late son, Raymond Ekwu, who died last year and also marked the memorial with a thanksgiving service at the Rose of Sharon Centre, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, she is yet to recover from the loss.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, the actress said;
“It is not possible to overcome the trauma of losing an only child; it is a scar that will always be there. I don’t even know if I have the strength. People only tell me that I have the strength but all I know is that I am very fragile and weak. Forget the powder and lipstick, it is just a cover-up; it’s been days and nights of tears.” she said.
“I still miss him so much, especially when I have to drive home and I remember that he’s no more; he used to give me a warm welcome anytime I got home. I never nursed any fear when he was born. I need to correct a misconception. He didn’t die because he had sickle-cell anaemia, he died because the doctors made a mistake, but I don’t want to go into that right now.”
On adopting a child, the veteran actress said it would happen in God’s time.
“In the fullness of time, I will adopt a child in God’s time; although, I still have people that stay with me that I’ve been taking care of, even before he (my son) died,” she said.
It was gathered that at her son’s memorial service, the pastor who anchored the event commended Anunobi, saying that despite the loss of her child, she was still able to successfully complete some major pastoral leadership programmes.

I have, today, become privy to the findings of the investigation into the allegation made in an online medium that the Certificate of Exemption from National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) that I had presented was not genuine. This has come as a shock to me and I believe that in line with this administration’s focus on integrity, I must do the honourable thing and resign.
Your Excellency, kindly permit me to outline some of the background to this matter. I was born and raised in the United Kingdom, indeed my parental family home remains in London. My visits to Nigeria up until the age of thirty-four (34) were holidays, with visas obtained in my UK passport. I obtained my first Nigerian passport at the age of thirty-four (34) and when I relocated there was debate as to whether NYSC Law applied to me. Upon enquiry as to my status relating to NYSC, I was informed that due to my residency history and having exceeded the age of thirty (30), I was exempted from the requirement to serve. Until recent events, that remained my understanding.
On the basis of that advice and with the guidance and assistance of those, I thought were trusted associates, NYSC were approached for documentary proof of status. I then received the certificate in question. Having never worked in NYSC, visited the premises, been privy to nor familiar with their operations, I had no reason to suspect that the certificate was anything but genuine. Indeed, I presented that certificate at the 2011 Ogun State House of Assembly and in 2015 for Directorate of State Services (DSS) Clearance as well as to the National Assembly for screening. Be that as it may, as someone totally committed to a culture of probity and accountability I have decided to resign with effect from Friday, 14th September, 2018.
Your Excellency, It has been an exceptional privilege to have served our nation under your leadership and to have played a role in steering our economy at a very challenging time. I am proud that Nigeria has brought discipline into its finances, has identified and is pursuing a path to long term sustainable growth that will unlock the potential in this great economy. Under your leadership, Nigeria was able to exit recession and has now started to lay the foundations for lasting growth and wealth creation. Repositioning this huge economy is not a short term task and there are no short cuts, indeed there are tough decisions still to be made but I have no doubt that your focus on infrastructural investment, revenue mobilisation and value for money in public expenditure will deliver growth, wealth and opportunity for all Nigerians.
I thank His Excellency, the Vice President and my colleagues in the Federal Executive Council for the huge pleasure and honour of working with them. I also thank most specially, the team in the ‘Finance Family’ of advisers and heads of agencies under the Ministry of Finance. Your Excellency, this group of committed Nigerians represent a range of backgrounds, ethnicities and ages. They have worked well above and beyond the call of duty to support me in the tasks assigned. The diversity in my team and their ability to work cohesively to deliver reforms, convinces me that Nigeria has the human capital required to succeed.
Your Excellency, let me conclude by commending your patience and support, during the long search for the truth in this matter. I thank you again for giving me the honour of serving under your leadership, it is a rare privilege, which I do not take for granted. As a Nigerian and committed progressive, I appreciate you for your dogged commitment to improving this nation.

Nigerian topnotch singer, Davido has reacted to the reports that the EFCC has reportedly frozen seven different bank accounts of the Adeleke family, including that of Osun state PDP governorship aspirant Isiaka Adeleke, Davido’s billionaire father.
According to a tweet shared by ChangeTheChange (PDP Twitter handle) which Davido has since retweeted and dropped comments like, ‘Make dem go Wells Fargo for Atlanta na’.
