The Word ‘Feminist’ has, in recent times, caused a stir on Nigerian Social media as there have been several debates about the actual meaning and purpose of a ‘Feminist’.
This new claim however, opens another window for a debate to come in.
Mrs Petra wrote ;
Jesus was a feminist. Most Christians who draw their chauvinist inclinations from the Bible hinge them on Paul’s admonitions which were stepped in the patriarchal Jewish culture. Don’t come for me. Study your Bible.

Earlier today, Tiwa Savage had a lovely exchange with her estranged husband, TeeBillz on his IG page which suggested that she still has feelings for him.

Nigerian Artiste, Davido has said he is not hell bent on breaking into the international music market, rather, he is making international moves because he feels a sense of responsibility to promote “the culture.”
The award-winning singer is among those promoting the Afrobeats genre on the global scene.
“To be honest, me, I’m not into this international stuff but I’m really doing it because I’m one of those people pioneering this movement,” the ‘Fia’ singer said in an interview with Pause.
“I have to put a cape on my back and do it for the culture but I always prefer being at home.”
When asked about African artistes in the diaspora who are trying to connect with the Nigerian audience, Davido said they should relocate to the country.
“If they’re trying to reach somewhere it’s the best place to be,” he said.
“But it just depends, to be honest. Mr Eazi was in London, then he came back.”
Comparing the African market to the European market, Davido said the vibe back home is bigger because “Africa can do 18,000 people, it’s crazy, but here (Europe) it’s like 8K, 10K.”
Davido is currently gearing up to release his new album in September, after which he intends to headline a concert at the O2 Arena in London.

Senate President Bukola Saraki says he is not desperate to stay in office.
However, a condition has to be met: his removal must be by two-thirds majority of the upper chamber.
Saraki said this on Wednesday while addressing a ‘World press Conference’ on Tuesday’s siege to the National Assembly by the Department of State Services (DSS).
The Senate President defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in July, sparking calls for his resignation/impeachment by the ruling party.
“The day two-thirds of our members no longer have confidence in us, we will leave this place,” Saraki said as he wound up his speech.
A young man disguised as a woman was caught peeping at female students as they had their bath in their hostel in UNIBEN.
According to Campus Voice UNIBEN, the man was caught in hall 1 peeping at naked women. The women quickly raised alarm, shouting “Clementus” and he was apprehended and paraded. He reportedly didn’t make an attempt to escape after he found out he had been caught peeping.

Recall Banky was in the news recently after LeadersNG claimed he was promoting President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid through the 67millionyouth Initiative, but Banky said the controversial 67 million Youth Initiative is free from government funding.
The investigation by LeadersNG was said to have further revealed that the sum of Two Hundred Million Naira (N200M) had been budgeted for the project to take off.

Kechi Okwuchi, the young Nigerian lady who made it to the finals of America’s Got Talent years after she survived a fatal plane crash in Nigeria, has undergone another surgery.
The 28-year-old singer had the surgery yesterday but said it is a non-invasive surgery. She said it’s the second of 3 rounds of co2 laser surgery but promised friends and fans that she will be back on her feet in a few days.
Sharing a photo of her on her hospital bed, she wrote:
“So I had the second of 3 rounds of co2 laser surgery today at @shrinersgalvestonand as always, it went well ? it’s non-invasive guys, so I’ll be at full strength in 3, 4 days ?? some might feel I’m oversharing, but all lives are made up of hills, valleys and plateaus, and I wanna share a bit of everything with y’all, so ? I thank God for a successful surgery and I pray for a smooth and whole recovery!”

“I got back and Saba came in and I told her the news. She was nine months pregnant at the time, due next week. I’ve never seen her cry the way she cried. It was tough.”

Ifu Ennada came under fire last night after she penned down what she said was a call for peace between fellow ex-housemates, Cee-C and Alex.
This comes after Cee-C shared a threatening email she received from a troll who vowed to bathe her with acid.

My post as crude as it might be was just a public call for peace.
