Four boys who sold leaked WAEC exam questions arrested
The operatives of Rapid Response Squad have arrested four suspects in Ondo, Edo and Osun States for retailing leaked WASSCE May/June, 2018 Examination question papers on websites and whatsapps platforms.
The suspects namely; Samuel Kayode, 28-year-old from Ondo State, Adebayo Ifeoluwa, 17-year-old from Osun State, Alayande Ahmed and Elusode Festus, 20 years from Edo State were all arrested in their respective states. Samuel Kayode, a part time teacher in two secondary schools based in Ilesa, disclosed that he also taught Physics and Mathematics in a private tutorial class where he assisted candidates who are planning to write the WASSCE examination with questions and already prepared answers for the candidates.
According to Samuel, after working as a tutorial teacher for seven years, he got a part-time employment in two private schools in Ilesa, Osun State, where he also helped students preparing for WASSCE with leaked questions and prepared answers, adding that he did this to make a living.
“I got a part-time teaching job when I couldn’t secure a Government teaching job after graduating for NCE and couldn’t settle for the little salary I’m been paid by my employers, so I decided to help myself with what I have been doing as a tutorial teacher by helping lazy students source for WASSCE examination question and answer via some online platforms that deal in the illegal business.
After registering candidates in their various centers, I then liaise with some anonymous people who we call ‘Web Masters’. The Web Masters have insiders in various examination boards in the country with leaked questions paper and buy such from them”, he explained.
“There are many websites operated by the Web Masters, where leaked WASSCE questions and prepared answers are sold to subscribing candidates. Some of these websites include; www.examloaded.com, www.guruscamp.com, www. ceebook.net, www. Solutionclass.com and www.expotab.com.
They also hawk NECO, GCE and JAMB examinations papers with answers”, he stated.
He explained further, “the contact person on Web master is called ‘Dan’ who doesn’t pick calls but only deal on text messages and WhatsApp messages. Mr. Dan usually sell answers via WhatsApp or issues a quick login password that can be issued on the website and immediately redirect the user to the page where the already prepared answers are.
I then retail the answers have bought from Mr. Dan to candidate customers who I coordinate carefully on a WhatsApp platform named ‘WAEC VIP’ where candidates waits patiently to receive the answers to the question after sending to me a #400 recharge cards of any network.
I demand for N400 recharge card from candidate for general subject while I charge N800 for Mathematics and English language”
In his own confession, Adebayo Ifeoluwa, 17 years and 200 level Accounting student of the Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA said he sold leaked WASSCE examination questions and answers to a group on WhatsApp called ‘MCC’ where candidates payed a recharge card of N400 to get examination questions and answers.
“Sometime this year, just before the on-going WASSCE examination, I belong to a sports betting WhatsApp group where we forecast for games. One of the member therein sent a broadcast about how to get WASSCE questions and left a WhatsApp link which I joined before thinking of creating my own ‘MCC’ after a thoughtful assumption of how profitable the venture looks”.
Also, Elusode Festus from Ekpoma in Edo State failed school certificate examination before becoming an apprentice at a Welding and metal fabrication shop, also chose the retailing of leaked WASSCE question and answer as a side hustle.
The 22 year Elusode said he got to know about the deal on a website where he downloaded songs before a pop asking if you want to receive exam result, click here which he did and dully registered so as to start the retailing of the answers among candidates in the area.
On his own part, Alayande Ahmad, said “I got to know about WASSCE questions and answers racketeering on a website after dropping out of secondary at SS2 due to lack of funds but I promised to assist my friends who were preparing to sit for WASSCE at all cost.
I contacted an admin on a WhatsApp group where answers were being sold to candidates who registered with him after sending to him a N400 recharge card. The subscribers receive questions and answers few hours before their examination”.
Parading the suspect, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal advised parents to monitor their wards preparation for examination instead of indulging them in examination malpractices.
The suspects have been transferred to the State CID for further investigations.
Ebuka says he has never met Cee-C before… Then Nigerians leak old photo of him and Cee-C together
Ebuka recently had a chat with Beat FM 99.9, and he was quoted to have said that he has never in his life met CeeC before, as the first time he’d ever meet Cee-C was on stage at the just-concluded Big Brother Naija, which saw Miracle as the winner.

“Apparently, this happened at Terraculture, nothing about this came to my mind until I heard what she said during the show.
“To the best of my knowledge, the first time I met Cee-c was when I spoke to her on stage during the show.
“The reason I didn’t debunk it was because I wanted it to die naturally. It was a very stupid rumour and I didn’t want to give life.”
“I think she has crush on me. But I don’t know what else she has on her head. I’ve never spoken to her except while in the house when I was doing my job.”

Former big brother Naija contestant and comedian, Dee-One, has come under serious firefollowing the opinion he made during an interview with TVC which went viral recently.
Dee-One who was among the first set of housemates to leave the Big Brother house said that fellow housemate, Tobi deserved what he got because he first tormented Cee-C while they were in the house.
He said,
“Tobi deserves it because he was even the one tormenting Cee-c. Yeah, he did. Tobi knew what he was doing. He started the whole story and the journey as if he was in love and needed something serious with her. He knew what he was doing.”
Dee-One added,

President Buhari finally breaks silence on Obasanjo’s open letter
President Buhari finally spoke out on the strong-worded letter Olusegun Obasanjo wrote to him in January while speaking in Bauchi during a state banquet.
In the letter, he asked the President to forget about contesting in 2019, saying doing so would amount to overstretching the tolerance of Nigerians.
According to TheCable, Buhari said he opted for silence on the letter but Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed convinced him that there ought to be a response from the federal government.
He said after his initial reluctance, he consented to Mohammed’s wish after an agreement had been reached that the minister would not mention Obasanjo’s name in his response.
Buhari said;
“Tonight, I want to remind you people of what Lai Mohammed did when a letter was written on our failure as an administration. Lai Mohammed was agitated about replying but I said no. I said no for two reasons: one, he is much younger than the person who wrote the letter and myself; two, he is from the same constituency as the person who wrote the letter.
“But when Mohammed came again, I said he should go out but he said he won’t go. I asked why and he said let me give him a chance to say what he wanted, then I said go on. He said in what he would do, he would not mention names but only try to remind Nigerians what the country was when we came in, where we are now, and what we have done with the resources available to us.
“Eventually, I had to admit that he was right and I was wrong because a number of people who could get in touch with me have said that Lai did a good job. A lot of them are in the media… I am very happy with the performance of our party, the All Progressive Congress.”
Buhari also went down memory lane to narrate how the “betrayal” of some of his former political associates informed his insistence on finding credible platform that would enable him “rescue the country”.
“I will like to go down some historical antecedents so that people can assess. When we were in the APP, I went through an impartial primary and I won the ticket. I think for the third or fourth time and while I was in court, because I felt I was ready to be president, the person who was to be my vice-president, allowed himself to be appointed by the presidency,” he said.
“The chairman and vice-chairman of the party accepted; even when I was still in court as a presidential candidate. That’s why I got out and formed the CPC; when we realised that if we don’t work together, that is the opposition parties, and wrestle power from the PDP, this country would have sunk.”
JJ Omojuwa defends Nina for dumping Collins publicly for Miracle
JJ Omojuwa has come to the defence of Nina as she continues to face a lot of criticism on social media over the manner she dumped her boyfriend of one year on National Radio.

Nina has risked losing her fans over the dishonourable way she parted with her boyfriend, Collins because of Miracle.
Right from the beginning of the Big Brother Naija show which lasted for 85 days, Nina had shown signs of emotional instability and vulnerability.
It would be recalled that she kissed Miracle in the bathroom in less than 72 hours of their entry into the house in South Africa.

#BBNaija: Tobi speaks on getting help from Heritage Bank (Video)
Tobi Bakre speaks on his relationship with Heritage Bank and the notion he ‘got help’ from them in getting on the show.
There have been rumours that the commercial bank facilitated the entry of Tobi Bakare into the Big Brother Naija house.
Note that the bank is one of the sponsors of the show.
Before his entry into the house, Tobi worked at the bank thereby swelling rumours that his entry was influenced.
The young man dispelled the rumours during an interview with Beat FM Lagos when he was quizzed about the issue.
“People in my office knew at the last minute when I had to resign. Nobody knew about it and I was particularly quiet about it. I only informed them when I wanted to resign” he explained.
He maintained that he was scared his links with Heritage Bank could have jeopardized his chances of being part of the reality show which he found uneasy to also disclose at the Big Brother Naija audition.

#BBNaija: Cee-C shocked about what Nigerians are saying about her
It’s no news that while the Big Brother Naija reality TV show lasted, Cynthia Nwadiora, known better as Cee-C, was the most controversial housemate for her heated altercations with fellow housemates.
She often engaged the other contestants in verbal warfare, using expletives and insults to convey her points.
Her behaviour earned her the tag of being ‘Nigerian’s most bitter woman’ label on social media – the label was so popular that it was among the most Googled term by Nigerians in the last seven days.
Reacting to the public’s perception of her while on the show, Cee-C said she is shocked.
The first runner-up of BBNaija said she did not see herself “like that” in the house.
In an interview during a programme on Beat FM, Cee-C said she will work on her anger issues.
“I’ve been shocked about everything. The reactions. I didn’t even see myself like that in the house,” she said on Thursday.
“For me, I believe that in every opinion, there is an element of truth so I’m just taking the truth and leaving the rest out.
“People have said that I have anger issues. Anger is an emotion. I get angry, everybody gets angry.
“Watching myself, that wasn’t cool. If that’s what it’s going to take for me to be a better person, why not.”
Nina, Alex, Tobi, Miracle and Cee-C are the five finalists of the third edition of BBNaija.
“How I lost N1.5m to ATM thieves through my 11-year-old son”
Mr. Chiuba Obinani is among several parents, who have lost millions of naira to ATM thieves parading a particular Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) gallery point at the Ejigbo area of Lagos State.
Like other parents, he had never felt that sending youngsters to ATM gallery to get money was a big deal, until some of the kids started losing the ATM cards to thieves.
Obinani, like other affected parents, described the situation as weird, even alleging the use of spell on their children.
On April 11, when a stranger attempted to collect an ATM card from a 13-year-old boy called Peter, the boy raised the alarm. The stranger was caught and almost lynched.
The stranger, who introduced himself as Mr Echefu Aku, 28, a journalist, formerly working with Silverbird Television, denied being a thief.
Sadly, Aku’s situation worsens after an 11-year-old boy, who had earlier lost his father’s ATM card through similar drama, identified him.
Obinani told our correspondent that he lost a whooping sum of N1.5 million in March through thieves like Aku, who hangs around ATM gallery points, looking for young kids to prey on.
Obinani said: “I’m still in shock over what happened to me last month. I sent my 11-year-old son to withdraw money for me from the ATM.
That wouldn’t be the first time. But last month, someone collected my ATM card from him. The person also collected the N10,000 he had already withdrawn.
My son also disclosed my Personal Identification Number (PIN) to the thief. I’m sure my son was hypnotised. He’s a brilliant boy.”
Obinani said that he was still waiting for his son to return with the N10, 000 when he started receiving several withdrawal alerts. He quickly made a beeline for his bank.
He recollected: “Before I was through with my complaint at the bank, N1.5 million had left my account.
The bankers blamed me for giving my son the ATM card. They said that several people had been coming to complain that someone collected ATM cards from their children and used it to empty their accounts.”
He said that on that fateful day that Aku was caught, he was preparing to leave for his office, when he heard that the man, who specialised in stealing cards from children at ATM points, had been caught.
He said: “I immediately went there with my son; he identified Aku as the person that collected my ATM card from him in March.”
Aku was alleged to have been caught red-handed, attempting to steal an ATM card from Peter.
The incident occurred at the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), by Forte Oil Filling Station, Egbe-Ikotun road, Iyana Ejigbo, Lagos State. Aku was alleged to have tried to convince Peter to allow him to change his ATM card with an old one.
When Aku was searched, four ATM cards were found in his pocket. He couldn’t give account on how he got the cards. An angry mob pounced, beating him black and blue. If not for the intervention of GTB security guards, Aku would have been lynched.
Peter explained that while using the ATM dispenser, he was distracted by the suspect, who spoke to him and later collected his father’s ATM card from him. As the suspect ran, Peter screamed, calling for help. The screams of Peter alerted people, who immediately chased Aku.
Peter explained that Aku lighted from a tricycle and approached him at the ATM gallery.
He narrated: “He collected my father’s ATM card from me and gave me an old one, which I rejected. He jumped into the parked tricycle and I shouted for help. People close by were fast enough to catch him.”
The boy said that his father gave him the ATM card to go and withdrew N5000.
The money was meant for his brother, who was about leaving home to write an examination.
Peter’s father, Pastor Austin Obinezie, who rushed to the scene, said that he was holding Morning Prayer Session when he sent Peter to the ATM gallery.
Obinezie said: “I shocked when I received a call that a thief collected my ATM card from my son. I left my church programme and quickly rushed down to see what was going on. I saw people beating the thief.”
Aku told our correspondent that he was innocent of the accusation levelled against him.
Aku further explained: “I lodged at a hotel close to the filling station. This morning, I came to make a withdrawal. I don’t know what the boy was saying.”
Then Aku asked our correspondent: “Are you a journalist? I’m a journalist too; I worked with Silverbird Television in Port Harcourt before coming to Lagos. My friend please assists me.
I’m not a thief! They should go to the hotel and find out if I lodged there or not.”
Mr. Chinedun Nwagbo, one of the people, who invited the police to the scene, said that on September 22, 2017, he lost over N100, 000 in his bank account.
Nwagbo said: “I sent my boy to this particular ATM to get money for me. Some body stopped him and sent him to buy biscuit.
I still don’t understand what really happened, because my boy gave the thief my ATM card. He left to buy the biscuit. When he came back, he couldn’t find the man.
The boy said he didn’t give the stranger my PIN. I don’t know how they got my PIN and withdrew money.”
He said that when the boy got home and narrated his encounter with the stranger, he had immediately dashed to his bank to block his account. Unfortunately, N100, 000 had disappeared.
#BBNaija: Dee-One slams Tobi, explains why Tobi deserved all Cee-C did to him
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Dee-One has slammed finalist, Tobi in the just concluded reality TV show, stating that he (Tobi), deserved all the insults he got from Cee-c.
It’s no news that Cee-c and Tobi had the most rocky relationship – a bittersweet romance which started after they were paired as strategic partners.
The duo however became estranged while on the show and notable of one was the fight they had just few days to the end of the show where Cee-c insulted Tobi for over an hour.
Speaking on TVC yesterday, Dee-One, who was among the first set of housemates to be evicted from the show, said Tobi deserved what he got because he first tormented Cee-c.
He said,

Lesbian couple Chantel Nicole Beverly, 30, a 5th Grade Teacher and Shavonia Peterson, 33, Exceptional Education Teacher walked down the aisle on April 7, at The Yacht Club, Marina Shores Virginia Beach, VA.
“I walked into a club one summer night in 2011, she had no idea she’d find the love of her life, Shavonia, on the dance floor. But that’s exactly what happened. Seven years later they tied the knot and their gorgeous nuptials will move you,” said Chantel.
“Being a bride felt like I was on cloud 9,” admitted Chantel. “After I got past the nervousness part, it was the best feeling in the world. I felt so beautiful and so loved. There were a few overwhelming moments but for the most part, it was wonderful.”
It took awhile for me to find ‘the one,’” said Chantel.
“Shavonia is very interesting. She’s actually the opposite of me. I’m more optimistic and she’s more realistic. I’m very outgoing and she’s more reserved.
“She’s very organized and I could be all over the place sometimes. However, she’s my perfect match.
“She’s loving, caring and will do anything for those she holds near and dear to her heart. She is the yin to my yang.”
Chantel reveals that there were no frills about how Shavonia proposed, and that’s what made it sweeter.
“It was a very simple proposal. Nothing fancy at all. On Thursday, December 15, 2011 she came in the house after working and was acting weird.
“She grabbed my hand and was shaking nervously and then got down on one knee and told me how much she loved me and how much I have inspired her and asked me to marry her.”
“My wife and I met at an LGBT club named, Colors. I can remember it like it was yesterday.” said Shavonia.

“I was at the bar and I saw her from across the room. I was attracted to her instantly and repeatedly glanced in her direction. I felt our eyes meet one another and she came over to me.
“She asked, ‘What you doing up in here, are you a lesbian?’ She thought I was straight and didn’t believe me. That night we danced the night away and exchanged numbers after the let out.
“She called me and we talked on the phone for hours like we were teenagers. The following week we went on a date and the rest was history.
“We were inseparable. I chose to make Chantel my wife because she is truly the most selfless and kind-hearted person I know,” said Shavonia of her bride.
“She loves with her whole heart. She’s loyal to all of her friends and family. She motivates me and inspires me to be the best woman I can be.
“I love how loving, patient and selfless Chantel is. I love how she stays firm in what she believes in.

Nigeria to turn Sambisa forest to tourist centre
Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, says Nigerian Army will work with National Park Service and Borno Government to revive Sambisa forest to attract tourists into the country.
Buratai said this on Tuesday when the Conservator-General of National Park Service, Ibrahim Goni, paid him an advocacy visit at the Army Headquarters in Abuja.
Sambisa forest is in the southwestern part of Chad Basin National Park, about 60 kilometres southeast of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno.
The forest is under the control and management of Borno Government.
The chief of army staff said the forest deserved to be revived as it harboured large number of wild animals, noting that the army would see the possibility of working with relevant stakeholders to make the forest a tourists’ attraction and training ground for the army.
According to him, the army in partnership with National Park Service and Borno Government will explore the potential in the forest.
The army boss, who assured the National Park Service of support, commiserated with the service over its men who got injured and some murdered in the forest.
Goni said the purpose of the visit was to enlighten the Nigerian Army that the nation’s forests were critical to the economy and security.
According to him, most of the forests are located at the nation’s boundaries which the military use for war.
“It is important to say that when the forest is left uncatered for, it will affect the nation’s economy,’’ Goni said.
He added that Nigeria had five per cent forests cover as against the 25 per cent recommended by UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
Goni called for increased number of forests to bridge the gap and called for more personnel.
He underscored the need to acquire high calibre fire arms and ammunition, as well as training of rangers.
Created in 1979 when Kainji Lake National Park was established through Decree 46 as Nigeria’s premier national park, National Park Service was inaugurated by former President Goodluck Jonathan
as paramilitary in 2014 to manage game and forests reserve.

Nigerian man melts hearts after enrolling a ‘poor boy’ he met on the street in the same school as his children
A Nigerian businessman based in Aba, Abia State has given scholarship to a boy from a poor family he says he met on the street.
The businessman, Chinonso Anudu, taking to his Facebook page, shared that the young boy, whom he met in April has been enrolled in the same school attended by his own children.
He wrote,
Take note of this little boy I met today from a poor family and he is out of school because nobody would help,I gave him scholarship today and I will show you his new look soon as his life will now gradually change for the BEST.
IKECHUKWU Samuel the poor boy that I gave scholarship have now started school and he schools same place with my kids.

The WhatsApp conversation shows the intimate rapport between the lovely mother and daughter – as seen in the convo thread, the singer professes her love for her daughter and tries to explain to her why she sometimes yells at her.

Young undergraduate dies from kerosene explosion 2 weeks after her matriculation
A young undergraduate has been reported dead after a kerosene explosion less than two weeks after her matriculation in Cross-River state.
The young lady is just 21 years old.
The deceased, Miss Eke Ukam Ogholo, was killed on Wednesday evening when she attempted to light a lantern after buying kerosene from a filling station, opposite her home at Ikot Nkebre.
One of her neighbours, simply identified as Pamela, said an explosion was heard from Eke’s house around 8pm. Neighbours rushed to the scene and found Eke in a pool of blood.
Pamela said: “It was unfortunate because Eke just matriculated at CRUTEC on April 9, which was on a Monday.We all went to share the moment of joy with her. Today is just April 25, and she’s now dead, about to be buried.”
Another neighbour, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “The incident was the fifth in Ikot Nkebre community. Four people had earlier died, while a n o t h e r victim is in the hospital. Even the one in the hospital may not survive because of the degree of injuries she sustained. Before, people used to say that we should buy kerosene from filling stations. But now, people are dying from kerosene bought at filling stations.”
Eke was taken to her Biase home for burial yesterday as neighbours, friends and the university community continued to mourn her.

The follower argued that Alex claimed what she is not in the Big Brother Naija House, a “posh” girl.

Married woman who slept with her ex-boyfriend while she was 3-months pregnant lands in ‘trouble’
