The management of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has responded to his father’s claims about the alleged existence of a will thumbprinted by his late son.

In a recent interview with TVC, Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba expressed surprise and suspicion over the alleged will supposedly left behind by his 26-year-old son before his sudden demise in September 2023.

He questioned why his son drafted a will at such a young age, and claimed that the will wasn’t signed but was only thumb printed by his late son.

Speaking further, he recounted how he met a lawyer instead of a doctor when he visited his son’s house after his death, insinuating a potential fabrication of the will with a thumbprint. According to Mr Joseph, they did ‘mathematics’ on the will.

Surprisingly, the management of the late singer has now responded with a statement issued on his official Instagram page, which was previously inactive.

They denied the existence of a will and emphasized that if there were a will, it would have been reported to the probate registry.

The statement also mentioned that all of Mohbad’s bank accounts were frozen after his passing and will remain so until all internal disputes are resolved.

Regarding the autopsy, they stated that it has been conducted, but the results of the samples sent abroad will take months before they are shared.

Sad! Three girls k!lled, others abducted in Abuja after family failed to pay ransom (video)

Three young girls, kidnapped in the Dutse area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, have been brutally murdered by their abductors.

The kidnappers, who appeared to be herdsmen, invaded Sagwari Layout Estate in Dutse on Sunday, January 7, and abducted ten persons from the neighborhood. Two workers were taken from a hotel, while eight residents were kidnapped from the estate.

Subsequently, they demanded ransom from the families. Unfortunately, due to the families’ failure to pay the money on time, the kidnappers cold-bloodedly some of the victims to seemingly mount pressure on the families.

Four corpses were dumped at Ida, near Ushafa in Bwari Area Council over the weekend. Two of the victims have been identified as Folorunsho Ariyo and Nabeeeha Al-kadriyar.

Folorunsho was a secondary school student and the daughter of the Ekiti State-born Chief Legal Officer of the National University Commission (NUC), according to the Nigerian Tribute.

Family sources disclosed that the kidnappers had demanded N60 million to release Folorunsho, her mother, and three siblings, but they were only able to raise about N5 million.

“Talks were still ongoing, and as of last Friday, we were optimistic about a positive outcome until we were contacted to pick up her body,” a family source said.

The teenage girl was laid to rest on Sunday, January 14, 2024, in Dutse Cemetery, Abuja, while the other members of the family are still with their abductors.

In Nabeeha’s case, she was kidnapped alongside her father and five sisters. However, her father was freed to go and look for the ransom to secure the release of his children.

His brother, Alhaji Abdulfatai, who led police officers to disrupt the kidnap, was unfortunately shot dead by the kidnappers.

The family were ordered to pay the sum of N60 million – N10 million for each as ransom before Friday, January 12. Due to the delay in paying the money, the killed Nabeeha, the oldest daughter

Salma Eku, the mother of two of the abducted children, revealed that one of the deceased is her relative, and the kidnappers are currently demanding N50m to release her two daughters, aged 10 and 6 years old.

A Nigerian man has raised an alarm about his uncle who was kidnapped five months ago but is still being held captive by his abductors despite the payment of ransom.

The man, identified as Ubawuike, took to the microblogging platform, Twitter (now X), to reveal that his uncle was abducted in Umudagu Mbieri in Imo state, leaving behind his pregnant wife and two daughters.

He mentioned that the kidnappers demanded the sum of N12 million for his release, and the family pooled funds together to pay the ransom.

Sadly, despite paying the demanded amount in full, the kidnappers have refused to release his uncle. He mentioned that it has been three months since they paid the ransom, and they have not heard from the kidnappers. He added that they don’t even know if his uncle is still alive or dead.

According to him, his uncle’s wife recently gave birth to a baby boy, but the family couldn’t even rejoice over his birth due to the situation at hand.

The video which Daniella shared on her Instagram page, captured both mother and daughter walking fashionably on the street.

Media critic Daniel Regha has shared via the microblogging platform X, his opinion regarding the 5 million naira offer.

In Daniel’s opinion, it’s hard to believe Phyna because she was recently called out by a hair vendor over her refusal to return a borrowed wig.

Daniel claimed Phyna might have been telling the truth about the five million naira offer but anything that has to do with money is hard to believe.

Daniel wrote;

“Phyna might be telling the truth about some of her past experiences, but anything involving money is hard to believe. How does she expect the public to believe her “N5 million” nightclub story after she’s been called out for refusing to return a rented wig?”

Recall that Phyna shared with her colleague Uriel during one of the episodes on her podcast “Spill with Phyna” that she turned down a five million naira offer from a man who wanted to sleep with her while partying at a club.

Recounting the event, Phyna mentioned that she offered to give the man, the same amount of money he offered to pay her for free.

Controversial Nollywood actress, Olaide Oyedeji, has revealed her health problems and the fact that she had five caesarean sections during childbirth.

In an interview with her colleague in the film business, Biola Adebayo, Olaide Oyedeji said that although some had criticized her for Sudan’s death, she had not been affected.

However, the actress said that she felt heartbroken when well-known blogger Gistlover asserted that Sudan’s death was caused by both her and her baby daddy’s excessive drug usage.

She said;

“My first daughter, Sudan, did not enjoy life. She gave me documents, she made my life in Germany easy, and she was an angel to me. They knew everything I went through with the girl. I was like, anybody who wants to mention her name needs to put a lot of respect because what that girl went through within that short time is a lot.

I’ve had five caesarean sections: Sudan, Jasmine, Ivy, Abike, and Adam, I know how it feels. I lost count of how many operations Sudan has had. It got to a stage where she had two shunts in her head.

If she wants to eat she has this tube in her stomach, that is where I pass her food. What was her offence? I gave birth to her early and she had an infection. That was the only offence Sudan had. If you asked me if would I willingly drop everything I got because of her situation for me to get Sudan back, oh I will. She looked so much like me.”

Aisha Tamba, the 18-year-old wife of renowned Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane, has opened up for the first time as she discussed her marriage to the football player and insisted that her modest ways would not change because of her husband’s fame and fortune.

On January 7, the former Liverpool player married 18-year-old Aisha Tamba in an Islamic ceremony in Keur Massar, a neighborhood of Dakar, Senegal.

In sharp contrast to the life his new wife has become accustomed to, 31-year-old Mane lives the lifestyle of a multimillionaire football player, earning an incredible £650,000 per week and traveling on private planes.

Prior to today, Aisha resided across a marsh in a run-down area of Dakar. There were reportedly thirty or so relatives living in her home.

Speaking through a relative, she told MailOnline:

“I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.

I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down to earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage. But I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane.”

Aisha is anticipated to pass her last school exams later this year and travel to Saudi Arabia to live with Mane.

The decision to forgo a honeymoon was made by Aisha’s father, who requested that she concentrate on her education.

It’s evident that drama never ceases among Big Brother Naija stars, as they are consistently embroiled in one saga or another. This time, the dispute involves Phyna, Bella, and their senior colleague, DeeOne.

DeeOne, a participant in the 3rd edition of the show, claims not to know Bella, a participant in the 7th season, after she threw shades at him for doubting Phyna’s claim that she rejected a man who offered her N5 million to sleep with him.

You will recall that Phyna made this revelation in a recent podcast session. According to her, the guy propositioned her with N5 million, but she rejected him, offering to send him the said amount instead to prove that she can’t be ‘bought’.

However, DeeOne, skeptical of her claim, expressed doubt online and challenged her to provide proof or a way to verify her assertions.

In response to DeeOne’s statement, Bella suggested that some people don’t believe Phyna because N5 million is a big deal to them.

She tweeted, “When they think it’s a lie cause they can’t afford it. 5m is literally just a flight ticket.”

Although she didn’t mention any names in her post, DeeOne took it personally and fired back, stating that he doesn’t even know who Bella is.

He added that she merely has a lot of followers on social media but lacks relevance in society, hence why he doesn’t know her.

He also asked a female friend if she knows Bella, and she also denied Bella’s existence, in a seeming attempt to belittle her.
