Gulder Ultimate Search winner in 2009, Uche Uwaezeapu has married the love of his life, Lauren Agokei.

The couple exchanged vows at the Federal Marriage Registry in Lagos last week.

In a post shared on his IG page, Uche revealed how his wife slid into his DM, shot her shot and ultimately won his heart.

One day I was going through my Facebook page and then I saw this cute guy on a group that I belonged to, and then I slid into his dm, and he replied I’m sure he was wondering why a pretty girl was saying hi, but I just wanted to be friends. We got chatting and chatting and then we stopped chatting for months and one day he slid into my dm…and from then, Facebook chats and calls continued for a year, we finally met, started a relationship, and fell in love and I’m so happy I slid into his dm first lol.

I was on Facebook one lovely day and then I got a message from a girl, checked her profile first, and wow she was so beautiful…I wanted to ignore but I couldn’t it was hard…and we got chatting on Facebook for about a year, we were so close….At some point, we lost contact for a few months… but we found each other again… we met and we became lovers and best friends. Lionel Messi continues investing in his life after football as he completed the purchase of a luxury Hotel Es Vive in Ibiza.

The prices at Messi’s new property start at £226 per night.

Hotel Es Vive becomes the most recent addition to Messi’s MiM brand, already having a four-star hotel in Barcelona outskirts.

The expansion of an airport has been abandoned all because of Barcelona FC’s Argentine player, Lionel Messi.

Reports have it that the expansion of El Prat Airport in Barcelona has been abandoned because continuing with it would lead to more air traffic above the footballer’s mansion in the coastal town of Castelldefels.

As for why a new additional runway located to the sea was discarded, the official explanation given is based on environmental and financial reasons.

However, the president of Spanish low-cost airline, Vueling, offered a different perspective.

Javier Sanchez-Prieto said during a talk at Barcelona’s ESADE university.

“This doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world.”

Vueling, based at El Prat de Llobregat, has hubs in Barcelona-El Prat Airport and Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport.

Yesterday, Big Brother Naija housemates, Teddy A and Alex were playfully challenging themselves in the kitchen.

Alex who has always seen Teddy A as an elder brother figure was chest-bumping him and acting rouge, then she made a move by grabbing his male organ and in retaliation, Teddy A dragged her, placed her on the floor and touched her boobs, until other housemates came to her aid.

Recall that yesterday, Khloe and TeddyA had what seems to be an exchange of words over a piece of meat.

This came after the housemates were visited by Super Eagles stars, Joseph Yobo and Victor Ekpeba.

After the legends concluded their visit and exited the BBNaija house, Khloe confronted fellow housemate, Teddy A, over a piece of meat.

The reason for her outburst was that Teddy A, took the piece of meat she cooked from the pot.

Khloe who is yet to spend three days since her comeback to the house, told Teddy A, “I cook meat and you went to the pot and take it; and you are a man.

“I cook this meat and I am going to serve it; Teddy, you do this thing all the time. I will ‘F’ you up,” she angrily jabbed at him.

Teddy in his response said he was going to mess her up in the house adding, “I will show that I get ‘Wahala’; are you the one that bought the meat”.

He then challenged her to beat him if she could.

During the exchange of unprintable words, some of the housemates tried to pacify Teddy and Khloe.

After a short while, Anto who was given another chance with Khloe to be in the game came into the kitchen to assist Khloe.

She admonished Khloe not to bother about the meat Teddy took.

Edo woman burns her Grandchild’s hands over Indomie

The Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs have arrested an old lady for burning the hands of her grand-daughter for eating noodles without her consent.

Accordingo Naijanized, the suspect placed the victim’s hands on a gas cooker until they got burnt.

A well meaning Nigerian who had witnessed the incident reported the case to the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs.

The Ministry stepped in and arrested the grand mother.

They have also taken the child to UBTH for prompt medical care and attention.

Christian Evangelist, Joyce Meyer defends Tattoos, says she might get one

Joyce Meyer, who doubles as a Christian speaker and Evangelist has made a biblical case for getting tattoos.

Meyer admitted she has been thinking of getting a tattoo for herself just to shut the mouths of people who are religious.

In a video clip posted by Joyce Meyer Ministries, she explained the difference between being holy and religious.

She went on to explain that religious people have made a mess of holiness by putting a bunch of rules and regulations on people. She listed drinking, dancing, wearing makeup and more among those rules.

Meyer quoted Isaiah 44:5 in defense of getting permanent markings.

The scripture says,

“One will say, I am the Lord’s; and another will call himself by the name of Jacob; and another will write [even brand or tattoo] upon his hand, I am the Lord’s, and surname himself by the [honorable] name of Israel.” 

She also shared the counterargument often used to discourage believers from getting tattoos found in Leviticus 19:28:

“Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the LORD.” 

Meyer says God also tattooed those He loves to Himself.

“The Bible says in Isaiah 49 that God has a picture of you tattooed on the palm of His hand,” she maintained. 

“I’m right on the verge of going and getting a tattoo,” she added, pointing to her shoulder blade. “I thought I might as well just push all the religious people right off the cliff and just get it over with.”

Meyer said her ink would say,

“I belong to the Lord.”

“I lived in so much bondage from legalism,” Meyer revealed of her past. “Everything in legalism is about something you can not do. 

Let me tell you something — it is not boring to serve Christ, it is so much fun and there’s so much you can do and not only that, you can enjoy all of it!”

24 year old final year student dies after taking alcohol and hard drugs

A 24 year old final year student who is yet to be identified has died after he reportedly consumed alcohol and some hard drugs.

The hard drugs he consumed are: Codeine, Tramadol and Marijuana at a party he attended.

The location of the incident wasn’t mentioned.

According to a Twitter user with the name, imperatorduduosa;
“A 24 yr old male final year university student died this morning. 5 days ago, he attended a party where he ingested an unknown quantity of liquor, codeine syrup, tramadol and marijuana.
“He ended up with bleeding from nostrils and mouth. And intractable seizures. He died in ICU.”
Another user who seems to be a medical practitioner revealed how the substances will affect the body.

Pregnant RCCG youth leader dies in auto crash, just few months after her wedding

A youth leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, identified as Mrs. Jennifer Princess Iheme Daniel was pregnant and has died in a fatal car accident in Abia State.

This accident came barely five months after her wedding.

According to online sources, the deceased is a worker at the Youth Department of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victory Model Parish, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

She died on Monday, 26th of March, 2018, following a fatal road accident along Umunka junction, Aba, Abia State.

A Facebook user, Esther Chinelo Okwara, who confirmed the report, wrote;

With tears in our eyes, we, the youth department of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Victory Model parish Port-Harcourt, announce the sudden death of our beloved sister and mother, Mrs Jennifer princess Iheme Daniel who died with her unborn baby on a fatal road accident along Umunka junction Aba, Abia State on Monday the 26th day of March 2018.

You were with us in church on Sunday, and on Monday evening we got the shocking news that you were gone, till date we are all still speechless at the incident.

You left our youth department barely 5 months now to wed your lovely husband Mr Chris Ihieme Daniel.

Yes we are in deep sorrow, but the confidence we have that you are resting on the right hand side of God has been our solace. You were active in church. You devoted your time, energy, wisdom and resources for the things of God.

The children department you teach every Sunday will miss you.

The youth will miss you. The women department will miss you. The pastors and all department of the church will miss you, including Your family.

Nigerian On Air Personality, IK Osakioduwa recounted how he escaped a terrible accident, while waiting at a stop light in Lagos.

According to the Big Brother Africa host, he was almost crashed by a speeding truck that wasn’t on the verge of slowing down.

However, he got out on time even though the moving truck had crashed into the car near him.

His tweets reads;

God just saved me from what would have been a terrible accident.

While waiting at a stop light I noticed a speeding truck that didn’t seem to be slowing down.

Even though the light was red I maneuvered to the front of the car on my right. I got out of the way in time.

Unfortunately, the truck still crashed into the car that was on my left, sending it right across the intersection.

It also hit a car that was coming from the opposite side. Thank God for his mercy and protection.

I believe everyone walked away with their lives.

Juliana Oloyode, popularly known as Toyo baby in the series Jenifa is a Nollywood actress and author.

She is currently bereaved due to losing her sister to the cold hands of death.

The actress took to her Instagram page to share her grief.

 

Sharing a photo of her sister and herself, the actress wrote;

I saw you breathe your last, yesterday. I didn’t let the doctor remove the oxygen tube from your nose. “She is not dead”, I exclaimed.
I prayed alone with you for five hours. I declared. I prophesied. I prayed in tongues. I prayed in understanding. I praised. I prayed on you. I prayed over you. I did all that came to mind. I refused to call anyone to let them know you’ve passed away because to me, you only slept. 
By past 5am, you were cold but I still continued to pray. I called your name over and again and very unlike you, you didn’t respond…
Your house is like a Day Care center. You took other people’s children into your arms. You just kept taking people in. Many times, I teased you, saying that you run a children’s organization in your house and you just laughed about it.

Update: Police arrest boyfriend who bathed UNIMAID Nursing undergraduate with acid because her parents rejected his marriage proposal

The police in Borno state has arrested one Musa Faisal in connection with the acid attack on his 26-year old girlfriend, Fatima Usman, a final year student of Department of Nursing, University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) who was attacked with corrosive fluid by suspected tricycle operators in Maiduguri on March 16th.

The state commissioner of Police (CP), Damian Chukwu, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen in Maiduguri yesterday March 29th.

The police boss said the suspect, Musa Faisal, was arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Kano.

He explained that the police had also arrested one Muhammad Babangida, who conspired with Faisal and attacked the girl.

The commissioner said investigations showed that the suspect and the victim dated for over four years and that when he asked for her hand in marriage, her parents refused.

”Our findings indicated that the girl and the suspect had been meeting in secret for a long period of time. On the day of the attack, she arranged to meet the suspect at a hotel in Galadima area of Maiduguri and while they were inside a room, his accomplice, Muhammad Banbangida joined them. Babangida was the one who poured acid on Usman and in the process, some of the liquid spilled over to Faisal. It is also established that the suspect vowed to deal with the girl since her family resented their union.”

Chukwu said that the suspects had admitted committing the offence, adding that they would soon be charged to court.

#BBNaija: Which Housemate is likely to be evicted ?

Four housemates in the Big Brother Naija house are currently up for possible eviction.

Which one of them do you think will leave this Sunday?

The housemates currently up for possible eviction this week are CeeC, Nina, Teddy A and Bambam.

Cee-C had the highest nominations (5). She was followed by Bambam, who had three. Nina and Teddy A were next with three nominations each.

Tobi, who emerged Head of House for the week, couldn’t save and replace any of the nominees as he had picked a chance card which only granted him immunity from possible eviction

The upcoming eviction will be the fifth one for the season.

The first saw the exit of Pritto (Bitto and Princess) and Van-Dee (Vandora and Dee-One), the second saw the exit of Angel and Ahneeka, while the third saw the exit of Leo and Ifu.

Anto was evicted during the fourth Live Eviction show, but was later voted back into the game by the viewers.

Ever since Anto returned to the House, things have not been the same between her and Lolu. To the contrary, their bond seemed to have gone down the drain.

While Lolu was elated by her return at first, Anto’s time out of the House had brought new facts about Lolu that as much as one may try, she could not unlearn.

She’s Back

Earlier in the game, Lolu and Anto formed a wonderful pair only equalled by their combined smarts that frankly scared their Housemates at times.

Over time, their on-screen chemistry was unavoidable as was what seemed to be a mutual appreciation.

They laughed and jabbed and most particularly saw eye-to-eye in everything.

When Anto was Evicted, Lolu was inevitably shaken and opened up to Tobi who seemed to share his sorrow as they bonded over the loss of a valued Housemate.

What Lolu didn’t know at the time was that Tobi may have been nurturing deeper than melancholic feelings for Anto.

False Hope

So when Biggie brought Anto back to the House, unbeknownst to both guys, Anto had come back determined to dot the i’s and cross the t’s with everyone.

After warm embraces, and having lent her listening ear to his lyrical apologies, she gave Lolu the coldest shoulder ever.

This didn’t escape to Tobi who used the opportunity to get closer to Anto.

Lolu told Alex that he was pained by Anto saying he used her emotionally.

He said his conversation with Anto hadn’t gone well and she was using unsuspecting Tobi as a pawn to make him uncomfortable.

A Sorry Man

Yet Lolu acknowledged his responsibility for doing her wrong and admitted he couldn’t dictate how she should feel.

But seeing Anto sleeping with Tobi was more than he could take, and he chose to spend the night in the bathtub to avoid their sight.

For Lolu it was hard enough dealing with Anto in the House and not being on good terms with her.

All he could hope for was for things to get better between them. But will they ever be the same?

BamBam revealed last night she has fallen stupidly for fellow housemate Teddy A.

She revealed this truth in a conversation with Lolu.

She said she is now hopelessly in love with Teddy A, who had in more than one occasion talked about his baby mama.

BamBam however sees the other lady as Teddy A’s past while she dreams of occupying his present and future.

Confessing her love for Teddy to fellow housemate, Lolu, last night, Bambam, an upcoming actress, said, “I’m aware Teddy had a lady outside the house.

“But I have fallen ‘stupidly’ for him and believes that he feels the same way about me.”

Teddy A and Bambam have been in a relationship since the beginning of the show.

During diary sessions last night, Biggie warned three housemates, Tob, Nina, and Khloe about provocation being a punishable offence.

This was a surprise to most of their fans because they expected he would also serve Cee-C the same warning as she has engaged in verbal confrontation with all three.

However, Cee-C was not given a warning.

Fans of the trio took to social media to air their displeasure and accuse Big Brother of favoritism.

They claimed Cee-C verbally provokes others as well, especially Tobi and Nina – sighting yesterday morning as an example, where she had lashed out at Tobi but he ignored her.

Many felt she was just jealous of Tobi and Anto cuddling.

However, during Bam Bam’s diary session, when she was asked to give her opinion about confrontations in the house, she said with regards to Tobi and Cee-C,  she thinks Tobi intentionally provokes Cee C knowing he would get a reaction from her.

She revealed Cee C and Khloe were in the bathroom and Tobi walked in on their conversation and dismissed Cee-C’s virginity claims, citing an intimate encounter between them.

She revealed this triggered Cee C’s anger, prompting her to follow him out and start ranting, and he ignored her.

This revelation by Bam Bam has shed a different light on Tobi who many see as a victim of Cee -C’s confrontational nature,as many now know there are many things he says to her which are not aired.

Friends and family mourn 27-year-old Ambrose Alli University student hacked to death by suspected cultists

A student of the Ambrose Alli University, Edo state identified as Emmanuel Onaghise, was hacked to death at Obalende roundabout in Lagos.

The 27-year-old was reportedly ambushed by suspected cultists around 10.25p.m on Monday, 26th March 2018.

Emmanuel’s sister, Lizzy Onaghise, took to her Facebook page to mourn the untimely demise of her brother.

She wrote:

“Why why whyyyyyyyyy. Why Emmanuel onaghise, my brother, my blood you never told me u were going to live me today.

“U left me in sorrow, in sadness, darkness, u Left Mumsy in pains. You left us in pains. 26-03-2018 u left me u left us Emmanuel onaghise can I ever forget about you I don’t think so.

“Pip my lovely brother u will always live in my heart” she wrote.

 

”Don’t accept PDP’s apology” – Tinubu tell Nigerians

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has asked Nigerians not to accept the apology issued by the opposition party few days ago.

National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus said the party has in the last three years seen all the mistakes they made during their 16 years in office.

The Chairman said they would like to correct these mistakes if given an opportunity to come back to office in 2019.

This statement was made at a Nation Building event organized by the party.

Secondus appealed to Nigerians to vote the party back into power during the 2019 election.

Reacting to the apology, Bola Tinubu at the colloquium organized to mark his 66th birthday which had in attendance President Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and many others, said Nigerians should not accept the oppositions apology.

Tinubu likened the party’s apology to the case of a thief who is only begging because he was caught in the act.

”Dear Nigerians, do not take their apology. They lied. They falsified. They even changed figures.

“For 16 years, they made fake promises and gave us fake figures. And they said we should not talk about it.

“It is like saying after all they did wrong, do not look at me. Just steal your own. 

“That we will not take it off the table…no matter how twisting the mind of PDP and their supporters may be, we will continue to talk about it because you wasted our resources.

“You did not do what you promised Nigerians, what you said you would do when you were in office. The market gave you the maximum and production was also at maximum.”

Continuing, the former Lagos state governor said:

“President Buhari has changed the economy from the wrong direction to steer the ship back before the final crash because it was necessary.

“We have started the journey. And the voyage is on the voyage of hope and the voyage that we are reclaiming Nigeria.

“We are retooling Nigeria. We are reinventing Nigeria. We are redirecting Nigeria.”

A Young Nigerian Lady has met her untimely death in Benin City by the worst way ever.

Her boyfriend’s brother allegedly immolated her for refusing to get in bed with him.

The Lady who was identified as Ebor Lovina was said to have refused sexual advances from her boyfriend’s brother and this led to her death.

One of her friend identified as Feh Mee wrote;

She refused to sleep with her boyfriend’s elder brother so he burnt her alive, the guy set her ablaze two weeks ago, she died this morning, she struggled to stay alive for good two weeks.

The story was released along with a fake conversation showing the name of Eric Many record label boss.

Eric Many GM, Johnson Adumike, has however reacted to the viral report describing it as ‘fake’ and ‘childish’.

In a statement released by Johnson on behalf of Eric Many, ‘at first glance, you’ll realize that the Instagram page in question obviously belongs to a social media influencer. How else do you explain a page of someone in the entertainment industry with over 11k followers and 7 posts with no known affiliation. The Whatsapp chat that accompanied the story is also fake’.

The statement continues to say, ‘what we (Eric Many) have done as a respected entertainment company is to put out fact with legal documents and backings, we will not be drawn into a childish charade and drag ourselves in the mud with whoever is behind this fake news. We maintain that we have no sex tape of Runtown and the alleged Whatsapp chat is fake. We have a Federal High Court Injunction, we do not  need to resort to blackmail as we solely rely on the legal system and will update the public as the legal proceedings move’.

A Young Nigerian Lady has met her untimely death in Benin City by the worst way ever as her Boyfriend’s brother allegedly immolated her for refusing to get in bed with him.

The Lady who was identified as Ebor Lovina was said to have refused sexual advances from her boyfriend’s brother and this led to her death.

One of her friend identified as Feh Mee wrote;

She refused to sleep with her boyfriend’s elder brother so he burnt her alive, the guy set her ablaze two weeks ago, she died this morning, she struggled to stay alive for good two weeks.

He continued;

Have always knew how to stay happy no matter what but the news of your death has made me the saddest person on earth….
