Ita, a mother of two, who is a professional prostitute was arrested by operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) on July 15, 2016 at Okon Brothel, Ajah, Lagos where she was exploiting the victim.
When she was arraigned in Court on February 24, 2016, she pleaded not guilty to the one count charge of trafficking in persons preferred against her. Upon that plea, trial on the case with Charge number, FHC/L/57C/2016 commenced on May 12, 2016. Subsequently, the parties adopted their final written addresses on December 11, 2017.
Delivering judgement on Tuesday, Honourable Justice Obiozor found her guilty and subsequently sentenced her to 2 years imprisonment with additional fine of N250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only).
In her reaction to the verdict, the Director-General of NAPTIP, Dame Julie Okah-Donli expressed appreciation to the trial Judge and the judiciary for rising up to the occasion in the fight against human trafficking.
She said that NAPTIP with the cooperation of the judiciary and other sister Law Enforcement Agencies will leave no stones unturned in ridding the country of human trafficking.
A Nigerian guy has cried out, and resorted to listen to the opinions of others, after the lady he slept with accused him of rape.
According to the man, who sent his plea to @SubdeliveryZone on Twitter, He had a thing or this lady where he works, and they’ve been chatting for a while, so she visited him during the weekend, they smooched and when the time came for the main thing she allowed him pull through, till after she had orgasm she started pushing him to stop.
He refused to stop and made sure he had his own fair share of the cookie.. The lady got angry left his home, and is now announcing his name at work that he raped her.
“We worked in same office as an NYSC Copper, till late last year. Every guy in the office including me was crushing on her, but me I didn’t make a move on her cos I hate competition.
After we stopped working there, we stayed in touch, and became closer. Somehow we started having lots of sexual talks. She made it clear to me that I was not going to get anything from her.
It dawned on me that I was getting carried away and she is the kind of girl that likes to tease guys. I noticed anytime I don’t respond to her chats, she would get angry, so I started thinking she likes me, she just did’t want to show it
To cut the long story short, we agreed she would come and visit me two saturdays ago (Jan 27) I stay alone in Ajah, and she stays with her family on the mainland.
She came in the evening, we went to Shoprite (Sangotedo). She was very relaxed and she didn’t talk about time. SO I knew she wanted to spend the night.
We got back to my place late, meanwhile we had been kissing each other the whole day o. She said she was feeling sticky and wanted to shower, before she went into the shwoer we smooched we.. I even sucked her bo-obs and she liked it.
After the shower, I gave her my shirt to wear and she got into bed. I went to shower also and later joined her in bed.
I started touching her again, I saw that she was not wearing anything under the shirt I gave her, no pant, no bra, I was so happy.
I fingered her for some minutes, then I wanted to give her head too, but she said no. She said she’d give me instead, which she did.
After that she laid back and I got on top of her and we did missionary, she talked a lot as we were doing it, saying yes, yes, yes, go faster and things like that. I saw that she was really enjoying it, so I held myself back from coming fast. After a few minutes she held me close and moaned that she was coming.
As soon as she finished coming, she started hitting my chest that I should get off her, I told her to chill that I’m about to come too, she started hitting and saying no, she didn’t want anymore. It was as if she just realized that we were actually having sex.
She was now saying oh God what’s all this nonsense, stop stop and all, but I didn’t stop till I came too. She got up and said she must go home that night. She dressed up and I told her to relax. She said why didn’t I stop when she told me to. I told her I just wanted to come too, so we would both enjoy it.
She said I raped her, that she told me to get off, and I pinned her hands down jut to have my way.
What is bothering me ow is that she has told 2 people that I raped her, and those people have called me to ask me if it’s true.
I honestly don’t know how rape has entered the matter now. This babe is a very proud girl, so I think she’s feeling bad that she had sex with me.
Kenyan socialite and former Big Brother Africa housemate, Huddah Monroe is ranting about the pressure from being from a African home.
Huddah
The Sultry Socialite stated via her snapchat account, that being born in an African family is like slavery.
She wrote;
Most African mothers don’t give a fuck about their daughters: As long as she provides. They even advise you to marry a rich man for their own selfish reasons. So many girls out there hustling out of pressure
You see young gals 16,17,18 already whoring to make some cash cos they are under pressure. Pressure to help their families. Pressure to marry rich men so that they can help their moms or siblings.
Being born in an African family is like slavery, punishment. It’s like a debt. You were born so that you can toil for your family for the rest of your life. We must change that MENTALITY. Help them where you can and leave the rest for God.
One thing i know is that people who always expect handouts will never have enough. And they will always want more. And they pressure you like its a must. We must DEAD that mentality
Big Brother Naija housemates, Cee-C has channeled her inner TBoss in hersel, and has declared that the prize win, means nothing to her, as she can make the money in one week.
Cee-C was conversing with her fellow housemate, BamBam at the head of house suite, when she made the statment.
“Money is not important to me. If today, tomorrow I leave this place, and I don’t walk away with the 45 million… I know I’d make more than that… What is 45 million? I swear to God, I’d make that money in a week..” Cee-C categorically stated.
The housemates today, lost their wager for the second time in a row.. and biggie subtly told them, that they are “not entertaining the viewers”.
It should be recalled that Some Nigerians condemned the Big Brother Naija (BBN) show saying that the housemates aren’t entertaining the viewers.
Some of the viewers of the programme told newsmen that the show was “an insult to their intelligence as it promotes immorality among contestants.”
“A balance should be created between fun and depth.” They, while comparing the 2018 show with the 2017 edition with the theme ” See Gobe”, said that the 2018 show had not been entertaining enough.
This is the second week the show kicked off and many Nigerians had said that it was not entertaining enough.
Cassandra Smith, a banker, said that the housemates were not serious and it appeared that they were more interested in catching some fun in the house than winning the whopping prize money of N45 million.
She said they looked unambitious and were attending to issues nonchalantly referring to when the housemates lost their wager in their first week in the house. “The housemates are not serious, they are there to entertain us, and they are not doing anything serious that compared to the housemates from the 2017 edition. “They should be made to sit up and entertain the viewers because that is the essence of the show,” she said.

He tweeted; Pre wedding pictures in Islam is haram.Haram is haram even if the whole world is doing it!
No Pre wedding pictures for me. I will not go die then be burnt by the flames of jahannam, all in the name of flaunting. Subhanallah astaghfirullah
The tweet went viral on the micro-blogging site and a hot debate ensued…
Last week, a very disturbing video of a little girl, a 6-year-old being forced to give an adult male a blow-job was shared across the world on social media, and it caused serious uproar.
The video which went viral caused an outrage online, as many folks called on several appropriate agencies to investigate the footage.
On Tuesday February 6th, Germaine Moore, 44, of Millbrook, Alabama, turned himself into authorities at about 2:30 a.m, after the Alabama Internet Crime Against Children Task Force and Central Alabama Crime Stoppers announced warrants on Monday.
“We’re definitely glad he’s in custody,” Lt. Brooke Walker, the commander of the Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force told AL.com Tuesday. “I”ve been doing this for 12 years, and he’s the top.”
The arrest comes after initial reports claimed that the suspect was from Trinidad and Tobago.
According to reports, the suspect is charged with sexual assault of a child, distribution of video depicting the assault and first-degree criminal sexual conduct. More charges are also expected to be filed against Moore.
His fiancee, Tonya Hardy, has also been arrested after she failed to cooperate with investigators following a search of Moore’s Millbrook home.
During a search of their home, the law enforcement said they seized multiple devices they are now examining for evidence.
“After multiple attempts to locate Moore, Moore’s wife, Tonya Hardy Moore, arrived at the residence and chose not be cooperative in the search for Moore,” Lt. Walker said.
“Basically she chose him over her children,” the commander added.
Tonya Hardy who will be charged with hindering prosecution is being held alongside her fiance at the Elmore County Jail.
According to Montgomery Advertise, the 44-year-old man who’s not new to committing sexual abuse on children is also accused of abusing three children in Alabama and Detroit.
He has been charged with five felony counts and now faces a $5 million cash bond in Elmore County.
In addition to eleven felony charges in Michigan, the site reported that Germaine Moore faces one count of first-degree rape, three counts of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act and one count of facilitating the travel of a child for an unlawful sex act in Alabama.
The 19th Circuit Court Judge Bill Lewis set a $1 million cash bond per charge.
Moore is also alleged by Michigan authorities to have abused three young family members between 2011 to 2017 in Alabama and Detroit. The female victims are currently aged 9, 10 and 12.
“We have a total of three child victims on the charges we have today,” Elmore County Chief Deputy District Attorney C.J. Robinson said Wednesday. “The investigation is ongoing, there could be additional victims and additional charges.”
Although, investigators aren’t yet sure where the graphic child pornography video that recently went viral was filmed but the 6-year-old victim has been located and she’s safe.
In another news, the authorities have arrested one Jerrell Washington, 42, on one count of possession and dissemination of child pornography.
He was not involved in making the video, but for illegally participating in the dissemination of child porn on Facebook.
The police are expected to make more arrested for the distribution of the video.

According to a well-known Australian Islamic Scholar Imam Tawhidi, Nigeria is the most corrupt country in Africa and she is run by a terrorist government that harbors terrorists.
The popular scholar who revealed this in a series ofTweets, stated the fact that the dreaded Boko haram terrorist group in the country is being supported by the government of Nigeria – Just like it is in Pakistan.
According to him, If Boko Haram had been annihilated from the onset, their activities would not escalate up until this moment where they are, on a daily basis, killing and maiming thousands of helpless Nigerian citizens.
The scholar is now surprised that Nigeria that gave the insurgents much chance to penetrate the society, are now leading the fight against terror across Africa.
He wrote;
“We have ignored Nigeria in the discussion about terrorism. Nigeria is the most corrupt country in Africa. It is home to a terrorist government that harbours terrorists just like the government of Pakistan. Boko Haram were given the green light in their early stages. We Remember.
Now all of a sudden Nigeria wants to lead the war against terror. Indeed, “my enemy is also my sword, I shall use him to kill with and then break the sword”.
The Federal Government may have notified the management of MultiChoice DSTV/GOTV that their operations, in Nigeria, will come to an end in 2019 as their license expires June next year.
According to a letter to that effect issued, on Tuesday, by the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation(NBC), the license issued to them in 2014 by NBC will not be renewed because it was not in line with Digital Switch Over (DSO) White Paper.
If Multichoice DSTV/GOTV will ever operate in Nigeria again after expiration of its license, the only option left for them is to go to licensed Signal Distribution company, that is Pinnacle Communications Ltd or ITS.
GOTV has been accused of being used as a conduit to siphon foreign exchange from Nigeria by its parent company, South African Multi Choice DSTV.
According to a Twitter user Nkomo Alison, who shared the heartbreaking story, a father brutally molested his 17-year-old daughter and while doing it, he told her he wanted to know if she taste like her mother.
She added that the man has since been arrested but the family has abandoned the girl.
The Ebonyi state House of Assembly suspended its member representing Afikpo North East constituency in the Assembly, Mrs Maria Ude Nwachi aka Afikpo Chic, for an alleged gross misconduct.
The motion for the suspension was moved by the Leader of the House, Hon. Joseph Nwobasi as Mrs. Nwachi was accused of allegedly posing as a public photographer.
The House said Nwachi have refused to heed earlier warnings by the Assembly to desist from being a photographer in the state.
Nwachi, a former Minority Leader, according to the house by her actions has brought disrespect and dishonesty to herself and the Assembly by by posing as public photographer.
She was therefore suspended for 14 days pending the outcome of investigations on the allegations leveled against her by a special committee constituted by the House to investigate the allegations.
Maria Ude Nwachi in a recent interview with Micheal Ugwu, has now broken silence over her suspension from the House.
She claimed that she is being victimized for her decision to move from the House of Representatives after her tenure in the state House of Assembly.
Read excepts from the interview below…
Q: Let me go straight to the point, the general assertion is that the Governor of your state is going after you because of your National Assembly ambition, and is willing to go any length to stop you. Governor Umahi has said many times that he will not support any state assembly member who intends to go higher, that you should all escort him back to his second term, and that he will crush anyone who opposes him. His words “.. anyone who tries us would be injured because if the person falls on us, he will be grinded into granite and if we fall on him, he will be grinded into ashes…” Don’t you think that he feels insulted by your ambition to go to Abuja, which you have never made hidden.
A: Before I won my state of assembly election, I had made a path with myself, and had said, that I would only do one term in the state assembly. And there is nothing on earth that will make me change my mind. NOTHING. It has nothing to do with my Governor, this is my own path and I have every right on this earth to decide my own path. I would rather be out of politics than go back to state house of assembly. This is not arrogance, this is a resolve I made even before winning the election. I had never even met my governor when I made this path to myself. Because I knew nothing about politics prior to winning my election, I had not met or seen many of the politicians I know today in my state, including my governor. I do not mean to disobey his order, this is something I cannot compromise, for anything, on this earth.
Q: It appears that their plan was to bring you into PDP and then immediately start going after you. Do you regret joining PDP?
A: No, I do not regret joining PDP. I don’t like the feeling of regrets, because no matter how bad a situation turns out, there are great lessons to take away from it. You can’t eat your cake and have it, you can’t benefit a lot from the lessons situations taught you for free, and at the same time regret the situations. Joining PDP to please my Governor was the right thing to do at that time. I was in the fore-front of promoting his development strides, which were real, and so it was an easy decision to make; when he insisted I join PDP.
Q: Many were against you joining PDP saying that it was a ruse to bring you in, trap you, and then run you down, have they been proven right?
A: It’s never over until it’s over. Let them know I was once in PDP before moving to PPA to win my election. I am the architect of my decisions and will take personal responsibility for the outcomes of every decision I make. I am not a child. I don’t feed through my nose. Therefore, I welcome every consequence of my decisions in life. I am 47 years old, a middle aged woman. Old enough, in all ramifications. I take responsibility for all my actions.
Q: You have done a lot of photography for many, including your own governor, but it seems that the one that they are not happy with the most is that of Governor Rochas, and in their report they made a mention of it. Is this going to affect your photography activities?
A: Photo camera does not discriminate in any way, shape, or form.
Q: The state assembly also included the Igboist IMC on their report, saying that; that though it was not meant to defraud, it was illegal to operate the scheme. What is your take on that?
A: IMC is just an internal program that was done to empower ourselves in a group I founded in 2012. This is an internal program. The participants are members of Igboist. The program actually achieved what it was set out to do. 7 millionaires emerged and have all been paid in full. 100s of other winners have been paid. It was never a ponzi scheme. And it was never a scam. I would not destroy what took me years to meticulously build in love and unity. But before we embark on something like this again, we would make sure that we tighten all loopholes; and do it differently, as my traducers, and those not happy with the succeeds of Igboist, can easily use something like this to attempt to inflict as much damage as possible; by sowing doubts in people’s mind and making all manners of false statements on it.
Igboist has been uniting Igbos in love for years. Igboist will never go down, we will continue to grow stronger and stronger, I have been empowering many of the members, in my own small way, since the inception, and it will not stop. Rather I will even up the ante; with all pleasure. These are trying times in Igboist, it will pass and make us stronger, and more united. I know this because when your intentions are good and true, lies and smears will only disrupt temporarily.
Q: The general assertion is that there is a need to damage you and that your state government is embarking on using every means available to achieve that. How do you intend to protect yourself?
A: That is a loaded question. I will do my best.
Q: You have worked very hard in promoting the image of the governor to the world, through your photography and articles. You are also one of the leaders of an organization that promotes your governor for second term. You were all over the place pomoting his bid for re-election last year. Are you still going to be doing the promotions online and physically?
A: I have no regrets on that. Life goes on.
Q: Being suspended for 6 months, means that your constituency, Afikpo North East will not have any say and represantion for 6 months, and from all indications, they can even keep you out for more. Do you have any plans in fighting to get back to where you were duly elected to be in?
A: I will do the best I can.
Q: You won election in a manner that has never actually taken place in this country. You came from outside the system, no godfather, no stake holder, in an unknown party. Now real Nigerian politics is playing out, where you need to conform to the way they do things. How are you going to go about that?
A: I came into Nigerian politics because I wanna do things differently from the norm. I wanted to prove to the world that a Nigerian politician can put her needs last before the need of others. And I am living it. I have spent millions of my own money working in my constituency. I have not built a single thing for myself. I started work as soon as I was elected with 10s of million naira of my own money, this is even before I received a penny as a pay as a legislator. A state of the art facility I built for my people, which has sent me to broke house, with pleasure, will be unveiled in less than 2 weeks. I am in politics to affect lives, to affect positive changes, and to tone down the bigmanism associated with it. I am not in politics to look sexy, I am not in politics to build personal houses, I am not in politics to acquire wealth for myself. I am not politics to answer endless titles. I came in with good intentions for others.
Be that as it may, if I am not in politics today, that will still be fine. I HAVE KILLED AND BURIED MY EGO-SELF. I have no ego to feed. I am not ashamed to work, to do any work, I got to do. I am a natural servant and can serve anyone, with pleasure and dedication. I am not lazy. If I not in Nigerian politics today, I will be just fine. I am very content with whatever I have.
Q: Since the ordeal have you reached out to your governor?
A: Yes, but he has yet to give me audience.
Q: There are so many people that are worried and unhappy about your ordeal, do you have a word for them?
A: I am grateful for your concerns. I assure you all that I will continue to work hard towards my goals and vision. It is gonna be a bumpy ride, but nothing good comes on a platter of gold. I will be roughed up, I will be humiliated, I will be mocked, I will be debased, but in the end, my good intentions will trump all, and see me through.
Q: What is your message to everyone, including your “traducers”?
A: Whether you pushed me or pulled me, drained me or fueled me, stayed by my side or left me, loved me or hated me, hurt me or helped me, you’re part of my growth, and I THANK YOU.

The Big Brother Naija season 3 premiered on 28th of January 2018, with 20 housemates. [See their profiles here]
Now, in the spirit of throwback, we bring you the FIRST EVER SET of Housemates of the Big Brother Nigeria season1..
The show, which featured 14 contestants with $100,000 prize money, was won by Katung Aduwak, while Sandra Osaigbovo and others came in as runners-up.
Many of the former housemates have since moved on to various pursuits — some into private businesses which have kept them out of the spotlight, while others remained in the limelight.
Here’s a bit about what seven of the 14 housemates have been up to 11 years after:
Katung Aduwak
We all cannot forget that moment when 26-year-old Katung was announced the winner. His win was surprising since he came into the house after the second eviction and won about 80 percent of the tasks. He and his co-housemate, Sandy, were kept in isolation with no external contact and zero access to TV or news for three weeks before being introduced to the show.
Katung proceeded to New York to get a directorial degree from the Digital Film Academy, after which he returned to Nigeria and worked on several projects. He produced and directed the movies Unwanted Guest and Heaven’s Hell.
He also directed a number of music videos for Chocolate City, Styl Plus, Gabriel Afolayan and starred in EbonyLife TV’s Desperate Housewives. Currently, Katung is the Senior Channel Manager MTV Base and Executive Director at Chocolate City.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu
He is perhaps the most prominent face on the entertainment scene since leaving the Big Brother House. Ebuka won our hearts with his charming smile and witty personality. Although he did not win the show, he went on to write for a number of newspapers and magazines and anchor events before taking a break to go back to school for his master’s degree in Law.
Since his return to the scene in 2011, there has been no stopping him!
Ebuka has become a media personality of note, contributing to several online publications and hosting several events.
In 2013, he was announced as the new host of Rubbin’ Minds, a youth-focused TV show on Channels Television and is also one of the co-hosts of The Spot, a show that combines a bit of reality TV with talk show and sitcom, showing on EbonyLife TV on DStv channel 165 alongside Lamide Akintobi and Zainab Balogun.
He has won several awards and has been honored by the Federal Government among Top 100 Young Nigerians to mark Nigeria’s centenary celebration in 2014.
Gideon Okeke

The daughter of the late Dora Akunyili, who was a former Director General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) of Nigeria and Nigerian Minister of Information and Communications from 2008 to 2010, Chidiogo Akunyili has tied nuptial knots with her White Boyfriend – Clayton.
Chidiogo took to Instagram to share lovely photos of them and wrote a lengthy but lovely caption;
Celebrating our civil union ? Excited for all the white & colourful celebrations with friends and family to come ?? Thank you Andrew for being a daily reminder of the miracles that exist in this world and the power we have to tap into it.
On a cold February evening in Geneva, I wrote down words that I feel connected our destinies & led our paths to cross 7 months later in the deserts of Nevada. “Monday, 8 Feb 2016. Geneva – Clayton asked that I do a true exercise of what I want. Here goes. I seek a partnership with a strong man, mind, body and spirit.
I seek a partnership with a man who will cherish, love and honour me & the life we build together, supporting each other through the journey with kindness, love, a smile & words that put difficulties in perspective.
He will not be away from home all the time but have a career that allows for him to assist strongly and sometimes wholly in building a home for us and for the children. He will be conscious and inspire us to grow in consciousness.
He will be full of kindness and have a depth of love that leaves us inspired by what two people can achieve together. He will hold me and we will give gratitude. He will be flexible.
He is adventurous/open to new experiences. He is happy in himself & together we share happiness in God and Love.” 7 months later after strong guidance came to me to go to Burning Man — I met him. It was a story of the union of souls. I felt I had written him to existence and rejoiced in the connection we shared.
One I know started with a decision to focus on the wholeness of my own soul — self love — & from the space of taking time for self I was ready to take time for anothers soul and him mine inturn. I was not looking for a man so save me but a man to hold me up in my own strength. Together we continue to weave a web of care, love, strength, that isn’t without its difficulties but I’m learning & growing with & from them.
I say yes to a life spent together in partnership — to holding each other up outwardly and on the inside — to loving every part of ourselves and each other knowing we have the power to create and re-create from a place of peace with what is & the infinity that can be.
Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has released a new video pledging to continue attacks days after Nigerian army repeated that the group had been defeated.
The factional leader said in the video which was released on Tuesday said that a recent effort to clear out Boko Haram’s stronghold of Sambisa forest in Borno State had failed and vowed to keep fighting against Nigeria and western education.
“The person that believes in nationalism is the one we are at war with, the person who believes in disseminating western education, which is replete with unbelief, is the one we fight”, Shekau said in the 11-minute video.
In the video, delivered in Hausa Language, Shekau expressed frustration on the continued hostility and loss of his supporters to Nigerian army.
He pleaded with his non-combatant members across Nigeria to pick up arms and help him fight till he drops dead. He added that the latest claim by the military that the group had been sent packing from Sambisa forest was false.
He boasted that he is still in Sambisa forest and still controls the territory.
“You, the military chief in Maiduguri, have been boasting of taking over Sambisa because you rescued women, telling lies to people. Where are the policewomen? Why didn’t you rescue them if you have indeed defeated us since it is our brethren that is holding them in the same Sambisa?,” he questioned in the video.
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said Boko Haram which means “Western education is forbidden” in the Hausa language was “technically defeated” in December 2015.
Boko Haram’s capacity has been weakened since 2014 when it controlled swathes of territory in northeast Nigeria but it still poses a threat.
Last Sunday, Boko Haram fighters stormed a village in northeast Nigeria, killing two people, while six people were killed in an attack in northern Cameroon.
At least 20,000 people have been killed in nearly nine years of violence and more than 2.6 million made homeless, triggering a humanitarian crisis across the Lake Chad region. AFP

Some Nigerians have condemned the Big Brother Naija (BBN) show saying it is a profitable show, but a cause for alarm.
The third season tagged “Double Wahala,” commenced some weeks ago with 20 contestants competing for a N45 million prize and a brand new SUV.
Some of the viewers of the programme told newsmen that the show was “an insult to their intelligence as it promotes immorality among contestants.”
They condemned how the housemates were kissing each other as if they had been legitimately being married.
Mrs Olabisi Afolabi, a mother of two teenagers said, “BBNaija becomes addictive when one indulges in watching it.
“I always engage my children in productive activities while the show is on. “My children are under eighteen. They should not be exposed to anything that is pornographic in nature.”
For Abimbola Coker, BBNaija shows should be censored by government approved regulatory agencies to remove all obscene portions before transmitting it for public consumption.
“Obscenity and nudity become rampant in the show and such should not be encouraged in our society.” According to Samson Ogunsunlade, “BBN has shaped the perspectives of youths to glamorize or embrace unethical and immoral scenes as if it is a convention. “It is an avenue to make fast money without meritorious cause and a perverse drama costumed with the facade called ‘entertainment’.”
Some viewers said that the organisers of the show should improve on its organisation to make it more educative because many teenagers were watching either legally or illegally.
Also, Hope Samson, an Accounting student of University of Lagos said that Biggy’s voice which was one of the endearing factors to the show was not audible enough. Samson said that Biggy’s voice was a brand on its own and wondered why such loud and baritone voice would be changed this year to such that was not audible enough.
“Biggy’s voice should be as clear and audible as that of 2017 because we see that voice as an attraction to watch the show,’’ she said.
Mr Alao Lawal said that the scrolling pad on the television screen was not clear enough for viewers to read comments. “ To me, the show has been interesting, mostly at night during their daily task but the information pad on the screen has very tiny characters which make it difficult to read through except one moves closer to the television screen. “I expect that this should be improved on,” he said.
Elizabeth Afolabi, a staff member with a courier service said that the show had been boring as only a handful of the housemates had been entertaining so far. Afolabi advised Biggy to work on them so that they would be themselves and stop being pretentious.
“In my own opinion, I am always finding the show boring each time I watch it because I feel the housemates are still pretending to be what they are not. ” Biggy should think of more tasking activities that will force them to bring out their true persons,” she said.
Mr John Ayilara said that the show should inculcate educative activities and minimise obscene scenes which could influence children negatively. “I see no sense in watching something that will not influence me positively and my children will not be able to come and join me to watch. “Indecent scenes should be avoided so that when children switch on the television set on their own, they should not be welcomed with immoral acts, ” he said.
