In a heartwarming gesture of philanthropy, renowned English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has made a unique donation to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), his hometown charity.

The 32-year-old musician has generously contributed nearly 450 items of clothing, including a surprising 149 pairs of his own boxer shorts, to be auctioned off on E-Bay in support of the cause.

Growing up in Framlingham, Suffolk, he decided to give back to his community by donating his personal wardrobe to EACH’s shop.

Alongside the boxer shorts, which includes half that have been worn by the artist himself, the collection includes 20 jumpers, 11 pairs of trousers, 14 hats, six onesies, and an impressive 73 pairs of socks.

Additionally, there are seven pieces of Ipswich Town merchandise, his beloved football team.

As an ambassador for EACH since 2014, Sheeran’s contribution will be auctioned off on the charity’s eBay site.

Notably, the clothing items will be sold in their original condition, unwashed and unironed, and will come with a signed letter of authenticity from Ed Sheeran himself.

Kevin Clements, EACH’s director of fundraising and communications, expressed his gratitude, stating that the singer’s extraordinary gesture will raise substantial funds for the charity’s noble endeavors.

Members of a church in Mexico claim to have witnessed a miracle after a statue of the Virgin Mary appeared to be shedding tears in the church.

The unusual phenomenon, which took place in El Chanal, has garnered the attention of both believers and skeptics, with hundreds of people reportedly flocking to the church to witness the ‘weeping’ virgin.

Several videos shared on social media show water droplets seemingly coming out of the statue’s eyes and running down its face.

A resident of the community identified as Ramos said, “Similarly, when we cry, and our eyes become red, the same happens to the image. So a couple of tears started flowing. This is the event, the phenomenon that is happening here in the church.”

Some people have associated the tears with the prevailing insecurity in Colima, which has been plagued with a wave of violence.

Victor added: “We can associate it with… the violence rates that are being experienced here in the state of Colima, also here in the community.”

As of October, the Colima Prosecutor’s office had recorded 702 cases of intentional homicides.

A pilgrim, Maria Mercedes Hernandez, said: “Peace, may she give us peace in Colima and throughout the world, that we may return to the Colima of before.”

As expected, some skeptics have opined that there is a scientific explanation for the crying statue. Professor Luigi Garlaschelli averred that some statues can soak up water due to the porous materials they are made of.

Garlaschelli explained:

“You need a hollow statue made of plaster or ceramic, which must be covered on the outside with a waterproof layer.

“By filling the statue with water through an imperceptible hole at the top, the porous material will absorb it, but the outer layer will prevent it from coming out.

“However, if a slight scratch is made in the protective glaze in the tear duct area, the absorbed water will come out through it as if it were tears.”

The sorrowful news of his demise was confirmed in a post shared on his Instagram page by his management on Wednesday morning, November 15.

They revealed that he died on Tuesday evening. However, the cause of his death was not disclosed, but they hinted that he had been battling with an ailment for two years.

Famous rapper, Oladips has reportedly been rushed to the hospital in the wee hours of yesterday while fighting for his life.

The rapper was heard pleading with his friend—who goes by OnlyOneLifetime on Instagram—to drive him to the hospital in a video that recently surfaced online.

Oladips posted a message on his Instagram story before being taken to the hospital, pleading with his friend who had left the house to get him some medication to hurry back.

Bilaal made this shocking revelation in a recent interview with Tasha K which was posted on YouTube on Monday, November 13.

He explained that he walked in on Will Smith having anal sex with Duane in his dressing room, solidifying speculations that the actor is gay.

Giving a detailed account of the incident, Bilaal said he was looking for Smith on set and was shocked when he found him ‘bent over’ in Duane’s dressing room.

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has lambasted Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, for stating that she cannot be friends with someone who is not adding value to her life.

NDLEA Apprehends Notorious Wheelchair-Bound Drug Dealer In Edo State

In a remarkable operation, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has successfully apprehended a notorious drug dealer in Edo State.

The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Godwin Emuneyin, has been using a wheelchair as a cover to engage in the illicit drug trade.

His base of operations was located in Afuze, the headquarters of Owan East local government area.

Acting on credible intelligence, NDLEA operatives pounced on Emuneyin on Tuesday, November 7, effectively ending his illicit activities.

The arrest was made at his residence in Afuze, where law enforcement officials recovered a wooden box containing various illicit substances.

The stash included 18 pinches of methamphetamine, one block of the drug, and 71 wraps of cannabis.

The arrest of Emuneyin sheds light on the lengths to which some individuals will go to evade the law.

Despite his physical disability, he had managed to establish a network involved in the distribution of methamphetamine and cannabis.

His use of a wheelchair had served as a smokescreen, enabling him to operate discreetly for an extended period.

In related operations within Edo State, the NDLEA achieved significant milestones. On Monday, November 6, operatives seized 42 bags of cannabis weighing 480 kilograms from a camp located in Aviosi forest, situated in Owan West local government area. Simultaneously, a raid was conducted on the Utese forest in Ovia North East local government area, resulting in the recovery of 231.5 kilograms of cannabis.

Furthermore, a cannabis farm measuring 0.778960 hectares was destroyed during the operation.

Social media influencer and travel creator Alma Asinobi has shared online her experience with a bolt drive who addressed her as ‘darling’.

The travel creator mentioned that she had tried to order a ride from bolt but the way in which the driver addressed her, led her to cancel the ride.

Sharing on the microblogging platform x formerly known as twitter, Alma noted that the response of the rider left her speechless.

“I ordered a Bolt in PH and the driver called me. I said,

Nollywood actor and comedian Charles Inojie has regarded his late senior colleague, Sam Loco-Efe,as the smartest Nollywood actor to have ever lived.

During a recent conversation with well-known media personality Chude Jideonwo, the veteran actor praised Sam Loco and reflected on his remarkable career when he was still alive.

Sam Loco-Efe, whose career lasted three decades, passed away on August 7, 2011. When he passed away, he was 65 years old.

The late actor, according to Inojie, was from another planet since, unlike other actors, he just has to read the script once to memorise the lines. Sadly, he added, the renowned actor passed away without receiving a national honour.

Charles said;

“Uncle Sam (Sam Loco-Efe) was perhaps the most intelligent Nollywood actor that ever lived. He can be here smoking cigarette, and people are rehearsing that way, you won’t know that his subconscious mind is where they are rehearsing. He would be correcting you from afar, you won’t even know he is talking to you.

Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, has questioned the rationale behind the sudden increase in the price of eggs.

It’s no secret that Nigeria is currently grappling with inflation, leading to a significant spike in the prices of basic living items.

In light of this, Mercy, in a video shared on her Instagram page, revealed that she was craving tea and decided to buy bread and eggs to complement it.

However, she was taken aback by the substantial increase in the prices of both items, attributed to the exchange rate.

She then questioned whether the eggs are imported or if the hens laying the eggs are from abroad.
