Following their 1-0 win against Zambia, some hours ago, the super Eagles have become the first African team to reserve their place at the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™.
Their latest win in Uyo earned them an unassailable lead at the head of Group B.
Congratulatory messages have begun to fly their way from fans down to the President.
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, too, have sent in via a tweet, their congratulations to the indomitable team, as they acknowledged them of becoming the first African team to qualify for the World Cup.
President Buhari has described Super Eagle’s victory over the Chipolopolo of Zambia at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State as a “very sweet, soothing and a 57th Independence Anniversary gift to the nation,”
Buhari applauded the nation’s senior men’s football team for the feat of making Nigeria the first African country to qualify for Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament, with a match left to play.
As he joined millions of football-loving Nigerians in rejoicing with the players and their coaching crew, President Buhari called on all Nigerians to apply the values of perseverance, resilience, discipline, hard work and team-spirit which propelled the footballers to excel since the beginning of the qualifying matches, to all sectors of national life.
The President promised that the Federal Government will continue to support the team within available resources so that the nation will maximise the unifying potentials of sports in general and football in particular.
He enjoined the entire team and Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) officials to remain steadfast and focused when they begin preparations for the global football fiesta in order to make Nigeria proud.
President Buhari urged public, private organisations and well-meaning Nigerians to continue to assist the Super Eagles as the team heads for a sixth appearance at the summit of football competition.
The President also appreciated the government of Akwa Ibom State for the invaluable support it has been rendering to the football team, describing it as worthy of emulation.
Super Eagles Player, Odion Ighalo, some hours back, shared an Instagram post about their match against Zambia which ended in a win for the super eagles, and a lady took to the comment section to wish him good luck with a kiss emoji.
That seemed natural but only for her to be called out by Ighalo’s wife who apparently wasn’t having any of it – the footballer’s wife took a screenshot of the lady who is @iamhelenbrown’s comment and wrote:
“Bitch always want to show yourself, @iamhelenbrown #shametowomanhood#oloshe”

A quick check on @iamhelenbrown’s profile shows that she is married and a ‘proud mother of 2 beautiful boys’.
The footballer’s union with his wife, is blessed with three lovely kids, two young lads and one lass.
Nollywood twins, Tracy and Treasure Daniels have been counting their blessings since they joined the Nigerian movie industry. Right now, the duo has added another feather to their caps with the production of a new movie entitled, Unknown Caller.
In this chat, the Ebonyi State-born thespians talk about their career and life as identical twins. Enjoy it.
What are you up to lately?
Generally, we don’t like to put our plans out there because bread is not sold while still in the oven but on display. We work quietly and bring you the outcome. Our skin care products could be mentioned here because it’s ready and available for launch on our birthday on October 21. In fact, that’s the thing we’ve been up to lately.
However, our latest movie and the roles we played in it are also worthy of mention. It was directed by Sir Uchenna Agbo and shot in Enugu State alongside other great talents. The characters we played are Jenifer and Jessica. The movie is very interesting and at the same time challenging. The characters demand acting out a disturbed drug addict, which is far from the kind of roles we’ve played in previous movies.
What do you like about the characters you acted?
Anybody who had watched Unknown Caller would attest to this. However, nothing remains our best for too long, another best is already on the way.
How was your growing up?
I could say we were born with silver spoon, but I would rather say with golden spoon. Our parents are members of the clergy; we grew up in a parsonage which I consider a privilege because that’s what has shaped us into who we are today.
What childhood experiences made you cry?
Whenever anybody attempted to separate us or if my twin sister was traveling without me, we would cry or take ill until we were reunited or allowed to go on the trip go together. Also, anytime our dad was traveling back to his pastoral work, we would cry and fall sick as well. That’s how much we cherish our father.
Would you like to change anything in the way you were brought up?
Growing up, our parents were like missionaries. They were always going on transfer or traveling from one state to another and that affected our stability as children. We couldn’t concentrate in one school. We were always the new kids and we also missed our friends. If we had our way, we wouldn’t have accepted that kind of growing up.
What is your most embarrassing moment in Nollywood?
It was when one of us wanted to play smart and switched roles in the movie entitled A friend of Mine. Tracy was supposed to be on set, but she also had a date with her boyfriend on that day. So, we agreed that rather than cancel the date,Treasure would stand in and help shoot her scenes. Little did we know that the director would find us out. Kabat was a very smart person, and good director. We give it up to him.
What is your happiest moment in the industry?
It was the day we premiered our latest movie, Unknown Caller. It was a classy and beautiful event. It practically launched our career to a new level.
Are you in any relationship currently?
Yes, one of us is in a relationship. But we don’t want to discuss our relationships in the media.
Who is your ideal man?
Each of us has different standards for the man we would like to be with. However, we have one common ground; our ideal man must be emotionally stable and financially established. We don’t believe in gender equality. Our ideal man has to be first and foremost, a provider, that’s our culture.
Have you had a disagreement over a man?
We are so discreet about romance. For us, it’s okay that way because it’s very sensitive.
Do you have a crush on anyone in the industry?
I don’t know what would happen if I run into Kit Harington (Jon Snow) of Game of Thrones or if my twin sister runs into Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lanister) also in Game of Thrones.
Can both of you marry one man?
Why marry one man when many guys would be left heart-broken after our marriage? We can at least make it one guy less broken (laughter). Never, we can’t marry one man. Each of us would have her own husband. It doesn’t matter if they are strangers, brothers, friends or twin brothers.
Do you get sexual advances from married men who see you on screen?
It would be an obvious lie for any girl in our position to say no to this question. But remember these are not just admirers, but fans and fans are the ones who determine our ability to sell and how we are rated in our career. So, we have to make them remain loyal even if they don’t get through their wishes.
Do you believe that some actresses sleep their ways to the top?
Everything is possible and nothing is new or news. There are fair and fowl means of achieving every set goals and each one comes with a price. Life is about choices and people are free to choose the one they can deal with. No one is better than another, so we don’t pay that any attention. We just follow the path we choose for ourselves; steady and focused till we get there.
What makes you stand out?
More than any thing, I think what makes us stand out or distinguish us from other actresses is the fact that we are identical twins, and pursuing the same career.

The fan wrote; “Simi, this has to stop! You look beautiful but who are this yeye stylists that work with you ehn, what kind of table cloth fabric is this skirt o! @sirdonald_ remember when I was saying it that day in the car. “I am a true fan!! It’s the bitter truth. Your stylists can do soooooo much better with your amazing figure! I am telling feedback from the streets. Those around you many not be honest. A pastor in Ekiti state has been accused of causing injuries to a woman’s private part after conducting a “special type” of deliverance for her after collecting N50,000 from her.
The woman who is suffering from wounds in her private region – claimed it happened after the pastor inserted some substances there during deliverance for fertility. She revealed this in an interview conducted by a journalist, Omo Edema of Voice 89.9FM, Ado-Ekiti.. Read below;
“I live in Lagos. One day, my younger brother called me that there was a prophecy from his Prophet, Prophet Oni Olakanye of CAC Palace of Mercy, Mathew, Olokuta, Ado-Ekiti, that I would need to come down to Ado-Ekiti for prayers concerning my infertility. I have married since 2011, but no child. So I discussed the issue with my husband and he allowed me travel to visit the prophet.
“When I got to the prophet a few days later, he first prayed with me at the church reception. He subsequently called me down into one of the rooms in the mission house where he placed a mirror under my private part—the exercise he called inspection, and later poured some liquid substance in my private part and fingered it in by himself. He therefore took me to bathroom where I bathed on a mortar with a black soap and native sponge while he stood in with me…
“He therefore demanded for N50,000 which I gave to him on the same day.
“Lastly, he gave me a ball-shaped substance to insert into my private part in the bedtime when I get home. I did according to his instructions. However, since then, my private part has been badly affected with wounds without cure yet…” These were the allegations of Mrs. Omowale against Prophet Oni Olakanye of CAC Palace of Mercy, Mathew, Olokuta, Ado-Ekiti.
“I know her, but not all her allegations against me were true. I collected N50,000 to work for her and to ensure she has child in life. The substance I gave her to insert into her private part; she didn’t use it according to my instruction…” The prophet, Oni Olakanye responded.
Head of states, President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he hopes God gives Nigerians the patience to tolerate his government so that they can deliver on all their electoral promises.
He said on Friday when he hosted a delegation of judges led by Walter Onnoghen, chief justice of Nigeria, to the presidential villa in Abuja, on Friday, October 6th.
“I have said it so many times, I don’t mind saying it now to you because some of you may not have even the time to listen to radio or watch television as regularly as other people do. From 1999 to 2014, Nigeria has never realised so much resources since our independence, never, because the average production – go to any renowned financial or economic institution in the world; they know Nigeria produced an average of – (was) 2.1 million barrel per day at an average cost of 100 dollars per barrel. But when we came in it crashed to 37 dollars per barrel, and we overlooked saving and there was no saving. So really, we have just started working and we hope God in his infinite mercy would give Nigerians the patience to tolerate us.” he said

We brought you the report alongside photos of Emeka Ike’s new found love some hours ago… the actor has said something about the lovely lady.
In a new interview which featured the Nollywood actor, he acknowledges been involved with someone new but plainly refers to her as his friend.
In the interview, the actor is quoted as saying:
‘she’s my friend, that’s all I can say. I’m matured enough to have a friend. The important thing now is that am happy, and yes she’s my friend. Emeka Ike’s case is always on fired. Can’t I live in peace? He laughed.
When asked if he has gotten over his ex, he said:
‘she got a divorce illegally to marry another man, after she told her son, she’s going to get married and have kids from another man. I believe she’s married now though . That’s not my problem, I have begged her severally to come back and she refused. I haven’t divorced her though, but we are no more together’.
Ladies and gentlemen, it seems it’s the lookalikes season though, as of late, we’ve been seeing people who have striking resemblances with our favourite celebrities.
Some weeks back, we met with the lookalikes of singer, Korede Bello and actress, Funke Akindele. Now, we’ve stumbled upon BBN’s Bisola’s own and we’re indeed thrilled!
This lady looks so much like the ONE ambassador, that we cam barely differentiate between her and Bisola in the photo below:
A retiree, Mary Torkwase Antom, 58, from Tse Baraku Benue State, has taken a bold step to immortalize her late husband and late son’s names by marrying a 27-year-old lady.
She and her husband, Patrick, a retiree of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, were blessed with only one child, Thomas Awuhe, who was was in SS2 when he died in 2004. A year later, her husband also died.
So she made the move to secure not only the family name but also its property. A friend later told her about a pretty young unmarried lady, Juliet Muese, who was on the verge of being disowned by her parents over her inability to identify the person responsible for her pregnancy.
Mrs. Antom then sought Juliet’s hand in marriage for her dead son, in keeping with Tiv tradition. The parents of Juliet also readily agreed. “What I did is a well-known practice in our place and culture,” she said in defence.
“There are a lot of children, almost 18% of them born after their father’s death. These children answer their father’s name.” The marriage that took place in 2007, has produced two boys with the third child on the way.
“Juliet is comfortable answering my son’s name. She wrote JAMB and I’m processing her admission to the Federal University, Lafia,” she said,
On her part, Juliet says: “I have no problem, in fact I’m doing better than those who got married to living husbands. Hajia is planning to buy a car for me next year if I secure a university admission.
As you can see, I’m looking sweet and people toast me a lot, but I shun them. At the moment, I have a boyfriend who is a student at the state university, Keffi. My second son’s biological father who is a student at Keffi is married.
He is equally responsible for this very one l’m carrying, but he cannot come and claim them. So, there is no problem. I’m good to go.”
The village head in Doma LGA, Chief Angbande Hue, said what happened is a known tradition among his people, adding that the tradition was very rampant in the 60s.
Traditional ruler, Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi paid a visit to Umuahia, the capital city of Abia state to preach the nation’s unity.
In his quest of preaching unison of the country, Oba Ogunwusi renamed the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as Indigenous People of Brighter Nigeria (IPOBN), saying the youths that constitute the membership of the group should not be discarded.
He further expressed disappointment on the proscription and tagging of IPOB a terrorist group adding that they were just youths crying against the injustice in the country.
He said:
“There is something that is bothering them that is making them to cry. We should not throw them away; we should draw them closer (because) the youths of this country are the future, the energy. They are the heart beat of this country,” he stated.
He said the youths have a lot of energy which could be channeled to something positive adding that the youths would always have his support.
“We must chart the course of doing things with positive energy. I want to let you know that you are not alone in this; we stand by you positively in a very progressive manner. We stand by you that we all must come together to build a united Nigeria. We don’t want any war; we don’t want any disintegration,” he added.
Ikpeazu, in his response, said that he was honoured and privileged to play host to the monarch.
He said he has put in place programs to assist members of the Indigenous People of Biafra for massive employment of youths to channel their energies positively.
Fans of Big Brother Naija winner, Efe and his “lover”, Marvis are currently tearing themselves apart in the comment section of Marvis page, and some serious allegations were made.
Efe Fans are still bitter and ranting about the fact that Marvis said she can never date Efe.
Marvis, Efe and Bisola.
Efe Fans already turned Marvis page to a war zone, with many calling her series of names.. Most of the allegations there, are lesbianism claims, ritual claims, abortion claims.
One even claimed Marvis has a child.
According to what can also be deduced from the comment section, the brawl started when some Marvis fans took to Efe’s page to blast him and all and so in retaliation, the Based on Logistics’ crooner’s fan stormed Marvis page to return the favour.
The fight even involved Marvis sister – who had allegedly asked Efe to tell his fans to stop with the hate and disrespectful comments, cause they’d listen to him – who they pressed some serious allegations her and her way of life.
Efe and Marvis while in the House, during one of their tasks.
It’s just brutal.. Read some of the comments below;
The infamous fight of the Okoye brothers has had many tongues wagging, including that of celebs. Veteran Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze has also weighed into the fight.
Speaking in an interview with LIB, the veteran actor sees the possibility of the duo getting back together but asks that the public eye shouldn’t be fixed at them so they’d be able to resolve their differences.
In his own words:
‘I think the public should leave Psquare alone let them sort themselves out. In due course, they will get things sorted out and get back to us. Its a family affair and personal matter so let them be.’
So we know how many health reports have asked us to leave a little hair in some particular regions of our body cause of some certain reasons like, curbing skin irritation, something to do with the sweat gland and all… all those health talk sha…
Well, we stumbled on this photo of a lady who has quite the amount of body hair on her armpit and we were wondering if it is okay to have this much or perhaps it may be nauseating for some.
Honestly, to me, it’s a major turn off! What about you?!

Diamond and babymama Mobetto welcomed their son, Abdullatifah Naseeb in August.
Mobetto sued Diamond for defamatory comments he made about her in a live radio interview on Clouds FM when he broke the news that he had fathered a son with the model behind Zari’s back.
She accusedDiamond of belittling her by using defamatory words while alluding to their once secret affair, something she says has portrayed her in bad light in the eyes of the public.
Mobetto also accuses Diamond of failure to provide for their son for close to two months.
This is contrary to Diamond’s version of the story when he confessed to being the child’s father, while also claiming that he has been providing child support since conception.
Diamond claimed that he has been paying his baby mama a daily upkeep of Tsh70,000 (Sh3,131) as well as bought her a brand new Toyota Rav 4 worth Tsh20 million (Sh895,301).
