Olori wuraola’s friends reveal reasons behind her marriage crash

Olori Wuraola’s friends have revealed some reasons why her marriage to the Ooni of Ife fell apart, and this is according to Kemiashefeonlovehaven.

Olori wuraola's friends

This revelations comes despite the statement issued by the Palace of the Ooni debunking rumors that their marriage have come to an end.

According to Kemiashefonlovehaven, Olori Wuraola has been sent out of her matrimonial home and has since gone to retrieve her belongings from the palace which is now being controlled by the Ooni’s sisters—Folashade, Adesola and Adebimpe.

The Olori’s friends are worried about the silence maintained by Wuraola as she avoided spilling some earth-shaking facts that would clean up her battered image.

Her friends alleged that Oba Ogunwusi, who needed a sizeable financial war chest in his battle to become the Ooni of Ife, was actually targeting Olori Wuraola’s wealth and wide contacts.

“If the king proposed to her 24 hours after they met and told her that Ifa (the oracle) had revealed to him that she was his wife, why did he send her away? Did Ifa lie over 17 months after the proposal? What is Ifa saying now? That she is no longer his wife?” her friends asked.

“She fell for his charms and thought he was extremely wealthy but when she moved in, she realized it was all a sham!” they (friends) revealed.

But what about the allegations of infidelity against the queen?

“Nobody should believe that because it’s a general belief that anyone sleeping with the wife of a king would die. How many men linked with her romantically have died? We know where this is coming from and those who have accused the Olori have been sleeping about with men who are not their husbands. These allegations are attempts to rubbish her and tarnish her image.

Another of the Olori’s friends who spoke with Kemi Ashefon said,

“She was making millions from her businesses before she met the Kabiyesi but Sonia(as fondly called by friends) is broke now. She thought she was going into a wealthy home but realized it’s a place they would feast on you and your wealth,” her friends revealed.

According to sources, the day she went to the palace to retrieve her belongings, it was disclosed to Kemiashefonlovehaven that the Edo State-born wife of the Ooni wasn’t allowed to take her bed.

Her bed? Anything special about it?

“Yes. Her bed which she made with her money because the bed in her room after getting married to the Kabiyesi was just wood! She had to make an exquisite one which she wasn’t allowed to take away when packing her luggage from the palace,” sources disclosed.

If you thought she was enjoying a blissful sexual life in the exquisite bed, then you might be wrong.

“She was abandoned alone in her bedroom and has not received a ‘royal touch’ in the last eight months! You know there is a new queen who is Yoruba, who enjoys the favour of the king’s sisters and who did all they could to make the king abandon Sonia’s bedroom. It’s just painful that they didn’t allow her take the bed she made with her money,” friends of the Olori said.

Sources disclosed that at that time and even afterwards, he constantly threatened her with charms, claiming he had eaten a live human heart, and had therefore acquired powers both to do and undo.

They also alleged that he has a tempestuous character and many times barely stopped short of beating her whenever arguments ensued between them.

Her friends disclosed that one matter that always caused rifts in the marriage was her constant advice that the monarch should clean up his act concerning his business dealings.

Olori Wuraola had reportedly raised the alarm that too many of his business dealings had a lot of question marks hanging over them, and that it was high time he began to live above board so as not to drag the dignified office of the Ooni into disrepute. We gathered from a reliable source close to the couple that this often infuriated the Kabiyesi.

A source close to the palace stated that childbearing was another issue that caused friction in the marriage. The Ooni kicked out his first wife, Adebisi Adebukola Bombata because they had no child.

The couple was married for eight years (2008-2016) and his family believed that he needed to find someone who will bear him children which was how Wuraola came into the picture.

Bishop David Oyedepo And Wife Celebrates 35th Wedding Anniversary.

bishop david oyedepo celebrates 35th wedding anniversary

The General Overseer of Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo and his wife, Faith Oyedepo, are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary today, August 21st.

The 62-year-old Pastor and Father of four children who got married to his beautiful wife in 1982 took to social media to celebrate their 35 years of marriage.

“Happy 35th Wedding Anniversary to my Heaven-sent Wife, Faith Abiola Oyedepo.
It gets sweeter by the day!”.

How to get married on a N20,000 salary!

HOW TO GET MARRIED ON A 20K SALARY!

If age is no longer on your side, you have found the woman you want to marry but your salary is the barrier between you and your marital promised land, you earn 20k or a little more per month, your sexual urge is getting uncontrollable, you are over 30 and your fiancee wouldn’t mind settling down with you, here is the practical way to survive on a 20k salary!

1. Pay your tithe 10%

2. Save 10%

3. Get a room apartment where you will not be paying more than 2k per month.

4. With neighbours, your NEPA bill should not be more than #500:00.

5. Feeding for both you and wife not more than 10k. Always buy your foodstuff in bulk every month, you will save lots of money.

6. Keep 10% for emergencies, that is 2k.

7. The remaining #1,500 will be shared between you and your wife as pocket money. You 1k, wife, #500.

Now listen: you can only do this on the conditions given below:

1. Your wife will get a job to assist you financially so that both of you will put money together to start a business, look for a higher paying job or run your vision that will yield profits, enlarge you and move to a higher level of comfort and wealth. Discuss this thoroughly in courtship and ensures she agrees. That is what courtship is about: to discuss your future and see if you can walk together (Amos 3:3).

2. No baby for the first 2 years while you both work harder and get something better or extra doing to cater for the baby. Discuss this thoroughly. Visit a family planning clinic and get an advise on which family planning method will work for you. Withdrawal sometimes fail and calculating the ovulation period is not completely reliable but if she is very diligent, can consistently monitor her ovulation, you may take the risk but combining with CD is better (I’m talking to mature adults here).

3. There will be pressure from your family especially your mother for her to get pregnant. Stand up for her, shield her, be a man and let your mum know that for personal reasons, it’s your decision for her to delay pregnancy. Marriage is for mature men and women, not for boys and girls. You should be responsible and have the final say in your marriage. Your decisions are between you and your wife, whatever anyone else says is secondary! Protect her from your family, stand up for her!

4. Pray diligently and consistently for God to enlarge you.

5. Map out practical plans for you to achieve your dreams.

6. Have the faith that can move mountains! The Bishop Oyedepo and Fela Durotoye’s type of faith: These men had almost nothing when they started but their wives were working and assisted them till they broke through.

You can make it before you get married. You don’t have to get married on a salary of 20k. The Lord can surprise you with a better job, profitable business or great contracts before you marry, if not yet then don’t wait till you are in your 50s before you settle down.

“Two are better than one…” is what the Holy Book says. With your wife’s full support and strong faith in you, you will break through the ceiling of limitation and emerge into your glorious destiny. FEEL FREE TO SHARE. God bless you, cheers!

“I will rather be babymama than live with heartbreak” – Sylvia Ukaatu

sylvia ukaatu

Nigerian sexy actress, Sylvia Ukaatu, who once told Potpourri that she could go nude on set for just reasons, has blamed men for their dishonesty in relationships, saying they hardly keep their promises.

In a recent interview, she revealed that she will rather walk away as a babymama than allow some sort of guy to give her heartbreak.

She said:

“Why won’t there be more babymamas when men don’t keep promises made to their girlfriends.

At the beginning of the relationship they promise heaven and earth, but run off as soon as pregnancy comes in. So for me, the reason for the rising number of babymamas in the country, is breach of contract on the part of men.

Most times the problem is not from the female but from the male. You can imagine a guy telling you how he wants you to be the mother to his kids just because they want to enjoy from that pot of soup and as soon as pregnancy occurs they will flee.
The truth is that they never truly loved you as you loved them. For me, I will rather walk away as a babymama than allow some sort of guy to give me heartbreak. Many babymamas out there really want to be together with their spouse and grow a family but the problem is the men.”

Female ‘419’ Nabbed In Lagos After N7m Scam Goes Wrong.

female 419 nabbed

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested a suspected female fraudster, identified as Gladys who ran out of luck over the weekend after a complaint was filed against her by one Nkiruka Okon whom she defrauded of N7 million.

According to SUN, Police investigation reveals that the suspect also used a network platform to swindle unsuspecting victims, including a Lagos society woman who was duped of mammoth sums.

During interrogation, the suspect said:

“I met Okon, a banker who reported me to the police in Port Harcourt, in 2008. I did not mean evil. We were just friends then. Later in 2015, I marketed a product, Healthy Halogen Oven, to her. The product was imported into Nigeria by a network marketing company, Avenues to Wealth,”

“As a network marketer and a partner to the company, my duty was to bring potential customers and partners into the business for a win-win profit-making, both for the customer and myself.

“I told Okon about the Healthy Oven, which was one of the products of Avenues to Wealth sold for N12,000 at company price. We agreed to partner in buying a large quantity of the product; Okon put together the financial capital, while I did the marketing and transportation of the product to the customers. Along the line, things did not work out well. It was not my intention to swindle her.”

According to the victim, Okon, she decided to go into partnership with her after which she got duped.

Okon said:

“I got interested in the healthy oven marketing business and decided to go into partnership with Gladys, whom I had known for many years while I was in Port-Harcourt,” she said.

“We agreed to buy about 410 units of the oven from the company, where one sells for N12,000 and agreed to sell at the rate of N20,000. I made a deposit of N4,500,000 to Gladys’ account on the agreement that after the sale I would get back N7.5 million plus the profit, but she refused to stick to the agreement in our memorandum of understanding.

“When I called her, she refused to pick my calls and absconded for over one year. Then I realised I had been duped by the person I thought was my business partner. All efforts to persuade Gladys to pay my money proved abortive, as she continued to give me one excuse or another.”

The police are still investigating the matter ahead of possible prosecution.

“Criss Waddle Was Not & Will Never Be My Lover” – Yvonne Okoro (Video)

yvonne okoro video

In a recent interview on “The Delay Show” with Deloris Frimpong Manso, Ghanaian actress of Nigerian descent, Yvonne Okoro has revealed without mincing words that Arab Money Gang CEO, Criss Kwaku Waddle do not qualify to warm her bed.

Although, earlier this year, after Criss released a song he titled, ‘Letter to Yvonne Okoro’, there was a ceaseless amorous relationship rumor about the duo.

The musician in series of interviews after the release of the controversial song confirmed he’s seeing Yvonne Okoro especially in an interview he granted with YFM’s Caroline Sampson.

However, and what seems as a contradiction to the claims of the musician, 32-year-old actress admitted that prior to the release of the song, they were never friends.

She said:

“We were never friends as at the time the song came out because he was not even on my whatsApp list. A friend of mine sent me the song to listen saying Criss confirms he’s a die-hard fan of my movies. So he just composed the song to show appreciation. I was not in a relationship with Criss Waddle and we will never enter into amorous relationship”.

“Criss Waddle is a human being not an animal. If he’s the one to make me happy, what prevents me to go for him”? Yvonne Okoro quizzed.

Now, there you’ve it. So if you’ve ever believed in their relationship rumors as Criss Waddle earlier posited, Yvonne Okoro has come to your rescue.

“Nigerian Girls are only good at scouting for free food and looking for who to buy them sharmawa” — Guy writes

A Nigerian Guy on Facebook with the name; Ezi Obinna John, has incurred the wrath of Nigerian Ladies after he shaded the hell out of them on his wall.

John shared a picture of some women in the Israeli military, and he said the ladies in Nigeria are only good at scouting for free food, instead of defending their country like these military women.

John wrote: “Israeli women defending their country…Nigerian girls are busy scouting for free food and looking for someone to buy them sharwama and rice from KFC..this is not my handwriting.”

This of course didn’t sit well with some of his female friends, and they bashed him from all corners of life.

Nigerian Lady writes to all Igbos: “You people are deceiving yourselves”

A Nigerian Lady, Identified as Nek Key Billz has written to all Biafrans, and urged them to stop deceiving themselves, all in the name of IPOB.

Read What she wrote below;

This is to address all the people causing nuisance all in the name of Biafra

You people should stop deceiving yourselves, imagine!!! What do you even have that you want to go for war??? Which ammunitions do you possess?? How many trained military men do you have??? Nnamdi Kanu wants to waste the lives of innocent Igbos, while his family is in London??? Don’t you people have sense at all???

What do you think war is?? You people need to wisen up and stop letting that man deceive you… if you ever want to have Biafra, you need to have a plan, well equipped trained persons, and resources but what do you people even have???

Nnamdi Kanu is saying that God gives him revelations but less I forget, the Bible said that God is not an author of confusion…. your lives are more precious to God, while not use it wisely instead of embarking on a futile war
This resort to shenanigans, hate speech, and sometimes incitement to violence by organisations such as IPOB and MASSOB must be unconditionally condemned as they are inimical to national unity, stability, peaceful coexistence and national security.

We must constantly be aware of the terrain and times. We have a country that has gone through a civil war, military coups and counter-coups, some of them bloody, prolonged military dictatorships, several false starts as a democracy, insurgency and banditry and a huge youth population whose huge expectations are far from being met.

Our peculiar circumstances have made it difficult to deliver and what we need is trust and hope to see us through the difficult times. We shall overcome, but we need all the survival techniques our collective talent can muster.

“How Uniport student killed my daughter for ritual” – Father of 8-year-old Victory Chikasom

A 200-level student of the University of Port Harcourt, Ifeanyi Dike, has been arrested for allegedly abducting and killing an eight-year-old girl, Victory Chikamso, for ritual purposes.

Dike was arrested by the operatives of the Rivers State Police Command attached to Okporo Police Station for defiling, killing and removing some vital parts of the victim after kidnapping her on Friday.

One of the fingers of the deceased, her tongue, eyes, one of her breasts and vagina were cut off by the suspected ritualist.

Dike was caught by a local vigilante while trying to dispose of the mutilated body of the young Chikamso.

It was gathered that Dike and the victim lived both on Messiah Street, Eliozu in Port Harcourt.

Speaking with newsmen at the State Police Command on Saturday, the father of the slain girl, Ernest Nmezuwuba, said he was filled with grief after seeing the mutilated body of his daughter.

He expressed shock that Dike could contemplate killing his daughter.

“My name is Ernest Nmezuwuba, I am from Ochiogwa in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State. The man who killed my daughter is like my brother, someone very close to me, I can call him my cousin. He is a 200 level student of the University of Port Harcourt here and he resides at Eliozu,” the father of the slain girl said.

Narrating how his daughter got missing and eventually killed, Nmezuwuba recalled that Chikamso had requested bread for breakfast, which the father bought for her before he left for work on Friday (the day she was abducted).

Nmezuwuba said when he returned home around 3pm and learnt that his daughter was missing, he immediately began a search.

He added that after the search became fruitless, he decided to report the matter to the police.

“I moved immediately with my wife to where our daughter usually went, but we could not find her. Then I ran to the police and they advised me to call back after 24 hours.

“This Ifeanyi (suspect) we are talking about is a habitual criminal. He committed a crime in a bank and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad caught him. Then the in-law went and bailed him.

“So, around 1.30am, the security men ran to me and said that they had seen my daughter and that I should come and see the man that kidnapped my daughter. I was in my shorts and I rushed to the place with the security agents.

“I was told that the person that killed my daughter was caught while carrying a load around 1.10am. The load was in a sack. The policemen said when they confronted him, he said he wanted to take it to the dustbin,” he added.

Nmezuwuba explained that he could not control himself when he saw the body of his daughter with her finger, private part, and eyes removed.

He added, “When I got there, I asked: where is my daughter? They showed me a sack. As I opened it, I saw my daughter; I peeped and watched very well, the two eyes were off, the tongue was gone, one of the breasts was off, one of the fingers, the smaller one, was off. I watched at the centre here, he had carved it (vagina) out.

“This boy decided to use my child for ritual. As I turned back and saw him, he (Dike) was looking at the ground. Immediately I saw him, I shouted, Ifeanyi, you killed by daughter. But he said it was not only him.”

The father thanked the police and the local vigilante for fishing out the person behind the kidnap and murder of his daughter.

“Honestly, if the police are working like this, people will not complain. The vigilante men did well,” Nmezuwuba said.

President Buhari addresses the nation

President Buhari addresses

BROADCAST BY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI,

AUGUST 21, 2017.
My dear citizens,

I am very grateful to God and to all Nigerians for their prayers. I am pleased to be back on home soil among my brothers and sisters.

2. In the course of my stay in the United Kingdom, I have been kept in daily touch with events at home. Nigerians are robust and lively in discussing their affairs, but I was distressed to notice that some of the comments, especially on social media, have crossed our national red lines by daring to question our collective existence as a nation. This is a step too far.

3. In 2003 after I joined partisan politics, the late Chief Emeka Ojukwu came and stayed as my guest in my hometown Daura. Over two days we discussed in great depth till late into the night and analyzed the problems of Nigeria. We both came to the conclusion that the country must remain one and united.

4. Nigeria’s unity is settled and not negotiable. We shall not allow irresponsible elements to start trouble and when things get bad they run away and saddle others with the responsibility of bringing back order, if necessary with their blood.

5. Every Nigerian has the right to live and pursue his business anywhere in Nigeria without let or hindrance.

6. I believe the very vast majority of Nigerians share this view.

7. This is not to deny that there are legitimate concerns. Every group has a grievance. But the beauty and attraction of a federation is that it allows different groups to air their grievances and work out a mode of co-existence.

8. The National Assembly and the National Council of State are the legitimate and appropriate bodies for national discourse.

9. The national consensus is that, it is better to live together than to live apart.

10. Furthermore, I am charging the Security Agencies not to let the successes achieved in the last 18 months be a sign to relax.

11. Terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly so that the majority of us can live in peace and safety.

12. Therefore we are going to reinforce and reinvigorate the fight not only against;
· elements of Boko Haram which are attempting a new series of attacks on soft targets
· kidnappings, farmers versus herdsmen clashes,
· in addition to ethnic violence fuelled by political mischief makers. We shall tackle them all.

13. Finally, dear Nigerians, our collective interest now is to eschew petty differences and come together to face common challenges of;
· economic security,
· political evolution and integration
· as well as lasting peace among all Nigerians.

14. I remain resolutely committed to ensuring that these goals are achieved and maintained. I am so glad to be home.

15. Thank you and may God bless our dear Nation.

Reno Omokri reacts after Kogi State Government declared today public holiday to celebrate buhari’s return

Reno Omokri reacts

Yesterday, the Kogi State Government Declared today, 21st of August public Holiday so as to celebrate Buhari’s return to the country, after his medical vacation in London.

Reno Omokri has reacted to this, and below is what he has to say;

To show how useless governance has become, a state Governor declares tomorrow a public holiday to celebrate President Muhammadu Buhari’s return!

Now, I sympathize with President Buhari, but aren’t public holidays meant to be for events pertaining to a nation’s history? President Buhari has been a resident of the U.K. for over a hundred days, has he ever known the U.K. to proclaim a public hoiiday because the Queen returned from hospital?

Our army killed at least 347 Shiite men, women, children and infants, our Air Force killed 119 people at the Rann IDP camp in a mistaken bombing. We did not declare any national mourning.

Yet we declare a public holiday for Buhari’s return! This is the height of sycophancy and this is why I insist that President Buhari must #PerformorResign!

He also stressed that the disease was not Lassa fever, saying the result of samples taken from the patients to Irua General Hospital in Edo State for investigation proved negative.

On the 62 persons earlier reported to have died, the commissioner said the figure was given by local leaders in the affected areas and was yet to be verified by government.

“We will investigate and trace the dead people to the grave yard and come up with the correct figure.

“We want to assure the general public that government is doing all that is humanly possible to stay on top of the situation and forestall further loss of lives.

“We will continue to inform the public as the investigation progresses,” Mr. Audu said.

“I once had sex in a swimming pool, it’s way better than bedroom” – Actress Amara Maduka

Pretty Nollywood actress, Amara Maduka, may not be a household name but she sure knows how to attract attention when she gets into her element.

In an exclusive chat with Potpourri, the daring but sensually crafted screen diva whose erotic pictures recently went viral on social media bragged that the size of a man’s manhood is of no importance when it comes to sex, as long as it gives her sexual pleasure and satisfaction.

According to Amara who loves to flaunt her feminine assets, as long as her partner skillfully gives her pleasure and satisfaction in bed, the size of his manhood would not matter.

“Size doesn’t matter when it comes to sex; it’s how you use what you have that matters. What is the essence of a big ‘banana’ if it cannot be used well?” she asked.

When Potpourri asked about the weirdest place she has ever had sex, the talented script writer said; “I once had sex in the pool, it was way better than bedroom sex.” She added that early morning sex is better, compared to when it is done at night.

She said; “I prefer early morning sex, the one that happens when your husband wakes you up with erection and you initially pretend you are not interested, but you really want to get down to it.”

Open Letter to Aliko Dangote

A Letter to ‘The African Shield’, ALIKO DANGOTE.

Nigeria is known all over the world as the Giant of Africa and Africa have gained in multiple ways because we have people like you that made investing and creating job opportunities for people in this continent a lifestyle.

Undoubtedly, Nigerians have largely benefitted from your benevolence and your wisdom in shielding your very own rather than build conglomerate of companies outside your continent or forgetting your own fatherland.

Indeed, you have distinguished yourself in many unique ways, you have proven beyond words could utter, how deep you truly have this country Nigeria at heart and have extended your act of goodwill coupled with great business prospects to Africans at large.

It takes only a man with a Lion’s heart and high calibrated level of business wit to still remain the richest man in Africa even with the crestfallen devaluation of our once mighty Naira.

Obviously, you had your fair share of its heavy blows because you ranked 51st in 2016 with a net worth of $15.4 billion, but currently have a net worth of $12.2 billion as of February, 2017. Don’t be surprised how i knew. I may not be your financial manager but news about you, more often than not, grace the headlines of most media pages.

Sir, you’ve done judiciously well all these years with enough bragging rights and commendable efforts. In Nigeria today, your group ‘Dangote Group’ with its dominance in the sugar market is the main supplier to most of the country’s soft drinks companies, breweries and confectioners, the largest refinery in Africa and the third largest in the world, producing 800,000 tonnes of sugar annually.

Dangote Group owns salt factories and flour mills and is a major importer of rice, fish, pasta, and fertiliser. The company exports cotton, cashew nuts, cocoa, sesame seed, cement and ginger to several countries.

It also has major investments in banking, transport, textiles and oil and gas. The company employs over 26,000 people and is the largest industrial conglomerate in West Africa.

However, it will be a broader shield for Nigerians and Africans if you continue to enlarge your capacity and encroach every sector including pharmaceuticals and healthcare.

You are very result oriented and achieve incomparable result in any course you venture into. You are the African shield and here in Nigeria, you’re richer than our country herself. Nigerians need improved health care delivery and once you dive into the pharmaceuticals, there will surely be a remarkable and improved health care delivery.

If possible, building a pharmaceutical company where our drugs will be produced here just the way you produce the cement we Nigerians use. This will widen the scope of employments too for people that studied Pharmacy and other health related courses.

It will equally be a great relief to our populous nation Nigeria and provide a great shield for Africans if you put Housing and real estate in different countries into consideration.

About 400 million Africans lived in cities in 2010, and 60% of those people lived in slums with no access to basic services. By 2050 that number is expected to grow to 1.26 billion. By 2035 half of all Africans will probably live in cities, with continuing urbanization expected thereafter.

Over the years, I’ve come to know you ( not one-on – one though) as a Man of mind blowing vision and unquenchable fire. You always give nothing short of the best in any sector you’re involved. I can beat my chest and proudly say Nigeria would have been an industrial giant in Africa if the nation could boast of more Dangotes whose preoccupation would be to invest and create jobs for the teeming populace.

Your efforts are highly recognized and you’re secretly applauded in every Nigerian home. I won’t forget to bring to your notice, a stir you have caused by announcing you would like to buy Arsenal. Certainly, I know you have the financial audacity to achieve this great vision should the current majority shareholder, Stan Kroenke, give you the needed encouragement. I’m in full support of this vision which may sound stupid and off guarded to many.

There is great dividends in the world of soccer and you have always been an eagle- eyed man. Nevertheless, If you consider going into these sectors I suggested, I believe Nigeria will be the most enviable nation and Africa will be on the lips of other continents.

Nigerian man returns N150 million wrongly paid into his account in Qatar

Nigerian man returns N150 million

A Nigerian expatriate in Qatar became a millionaire for several hours after a bank mistakenly deposited more than QR1.5 million ($411,127.99) into his account recently.

The man, Michael Asemota, had opened an account with a cheque of QR150,200 with an undisclosed commercial bank, where he is the sole signatory of the account.

As he got back home, he received an alert showing that a QR1,502,000 had been credited into his account by mistake instead of QR150,200. Asemota went back to the bank and returned the money.

Speaking to Qatar Tribune, Asemota said,”After opening the account with the bank, I checked my balance to make withdrawals for a supply job and found the huge sum. I was amazed and decided to contact the bank.

I went to see the manager to report the error of QR1,502,000 deposited into my account. After checking for confirmation, the manager gave me a warm handshake in appreciation.”

Asked why he alerted the bank about the error, Asemota said,”I knew the money did not belong to me and shouldn’t be in my account in the first place, so there were no motives and temptations to keep it.”

10-year-old reveals how he was initiated into robbery

A 10-year-old Victor Tarekedomoni has revealed how he was lured into robbery at a very tender age.

He made the confession when he was being paraded by the police in Bayelsa State during the week.

Victor is said to be specialized in robbing victims of phones at bus stops and breaking into houses by squeezing through anti-burglary iron-bars, to ransack the homes, during which he would cart away jewelleries, money, phones, and other valuables.

He confessed that he had led several successful operations before nemesis caught up with him.

The young boy told newsmen that he got into the illicit business through the help of his uncle, having already lost his father.

He said, “I lost my father and my mother very early in life. I was staying with my uncle, (name withheld), who taught me how to rob. My uncle has sent me on several occasions to rob in the area.

“There was one time he sent me to an office to steal a TV and their computer, which I did. I was attending the Universal Basic Primary Community Education School at Ovom, I was in primary 4 when I dropped out of school. What happened was that my uncle went to rob, but when the police came to look for him, he ran away from house. So, I dropped out of school and joined a robbery gang.

“I have been involved in several armed robberies; when we go for operation, the older members of the gang will lift me up the fence, I will jump down and pass through the burglarproof bars, enter the house, ransack the place, take money, jewellery and then escape. After the robbery, they will give me N1000 or N1500, which I used to feed myself daily.

Victor, who hails from Egaibiri community in Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State said further:

“I have robbed over 20 victims. I stole their phones at bus stops or along the street.

“It was when I spent one month in SARS custody, I decided to escape and squeezed through the iron-bars of the cell. I always slept in the store at Arietalin Street, Ovom, before policemen re-arrested me at Sandy area in Yenagoa.”

“If the state government or the governor of Bayelsa can come to my rescue and train me, I can be leader in Bayelsa tomorrow. I am talented and blessed but I didn’t have parental care. That is why I went into robbery and joined a gang. I am a member of Greenlander cult group. I don’t want to go back to robbing again. I want to be a good citizen of Bayelsa.

“I want the public to forgive me because it was my uncle who introduced me to robbery. I started stealing before I joined the gang. The names of the other six members of the gang who are still on run are Junior, Finefine, Daddy Boy, Godspower, Kempade and Goodtimes.”

Why I beat up the South African model – First Lady, Grace Mugabe

The Zimbabwean first lady, Grace Mugabe, has revealed the reason behind her decision to beat up a South African model and break her head in the course of the assault.

The first lady while speaking to South African officials revealed that she used an extension cord on the 20-year-old model identified as Gabriella Engels in self defence.

The first lady claimed that she was in fact the victim of the assault which occurred on Sunday night at a flat located in Sandton.

According to her, the scenario took place in the presence of numerous body guards.

iol.co.za, a South African news website reports:

This is according to highly-placed sources privy to the case.

“Mugabe is adamant on the issue of protecting herself because she feels she was attacked. She says she was attacked by the victim and that she also has her own injuries which she is not going to publish in the media,” said one source.

The assault, which happened last Sunday has Zimbabwean and South African officials scurrying behind the scenes to try to defuse what has become an embarrassing international incident that has brought the diplomatic relations between the two neighbours under intense scrutiny.

Engels claims Mugabe assaulted her after she found her with her sons, Robert jr and Chatunga Bellarmine.

But it appears that the pair, known for their high-rolling lifestyles, also faced their mother’s wrath that night.

“People are not talking about the fact she did the same to her kids. She beats her kids too,” the source said.

Engels received cuts and bruises and had to crawl out of the room to escape, she claimed. She said that Mugabe’s bodyguards stood by and watched.

Since the attack, civil rights organisation AfriForum, has decided to represent Engels and the “Bulldog” advocate Gerrie Nel has taken the case and is hoping to get the Zimbabwean first lady in the dock, despite government’s fears of diplomatic fallout.

When asked why Mugabe didn’t open a police case against Engels, the official said that Mugabe didn’t see it that way. The official explained how the incident had placed the SAPS in a predicament.

“Yes, clearly it was a difficult situation, a predicament because it was a high-profile matter and all the things came colliding. It was a mad house, and we had to ensure we don’t break the international law on how to treat important delegates. In cases like this, you want to collect all the information from all sides.”

The first lady is apparently still holed-up in South Africa and is waiting for the Department of International Relations and Co-operation (Dirco) to issue her diplomatic immunity. Then she can leave.

If this happens, this will be the second time that Mugabe has used this legal loophole to escape prosecution.

In 2009, she was given diplomatic immunity by the Chinese after she allegedly assaulted a journalist in Hong Kong.
