The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Olusola Amore, on Thursday in Ilorin, told news correspondents that a suspect identified Salisu Imam, has blamed unemployment for his involvement in cult-related activities.
While making his cofession to reporters, the suspect stated that he was lured into cultism by one of his unnamed friends, who, he said, told him that membership of a cult would guarantee him daily meals, adding that he fell for the bait because he had no job and was always hungry.
He said, “I was jobless and so hungry. One of my friends told me to join the Aiye cult group, that once I am a member, my daily meals are guaranteed. These friends have been taking care of me before they introduced me to cultism and I was left with no option but to play along with them.”
The police boss said following the aftermath of cult killings that took place in Ilorin metropolis and the determination of the command to arrest the culprits, three suspects, Ibrahim Imam, Salisudeen Imam and Saheed Mubaraq were nabbed.
He stated that during interrogation, the suspects confessed to being members of Eiye and Aiye confraternities, adding that they also confessed to have been involved in series of attacks that took place in Ilorin, adding that three live cartridges and charms were recovered from the suspects.

UK-based Nigerian pastor Pastor Olugbenga Oladejo warns married couples against unholy sexual acts in this viral video.
The head pastor of Complete in Christ Church (CICC), claimed he saw people being punished in hell for immoral and unholy sexual acts that include Oral Sex, masturbation, acts of bondage and positions like ‘doggy’ and ‘cowgirl’.

“The Lord told Pastor Oladejo that His children are confused, so they must be warned about these sins that are taking them to hell, so they will not perish. He visually showed him these people’s sins on the “judgment screen” and audibly warned against married couples masturbating on their beds, looking at pornography, oral sex, trying different styles of sexual intercourse to “spice it up,” such as “doggie style” penetration from behind, and various positions, including the wife on top (e.g., so-called “rocking horse,” “cowboy,” or “cowgirl” positions), and hanging your wife (a type of domination and bondage position, involving tying her down, intended to simulate rape). He said the only position that is holy in God’s sight is the face-to-face position with the husband on top.”
On Missionary as the Only Holy Position
It is well known what the “missionary position” is and why it is called that, for the reason this pastor explained.
Missionaries of old who taught their converts about true holiness would teach them that in the marriage bed, face to face with the husband on top is the only position that God has sanctioned.
That is a landmarker or boundary stone that was laid by people before this evil generation was born that you and I who live today are a part of. That was a boundary stone. We have moved that stone, so we could try new things to fulfill our lusts.”

Hanging Your Spouse
In the videos, he mentioned “hanging” your spouse during sexual intercourse (see Video 1 at 13:33 – 13:36 and Video 2 at 11:12). He clarified this for me by stating that he meant couples who engage in extreme sexual positions by using sex equipment to make their wives helpless, such as tying them to a bed, so it looks like the wife is being raped. He said, “Some Christians do extreme sexual positions seen in the pornography and buy equipment to make them look like their wives are helpless or being hanged [or] raped when they have relationships. Such things are great wickedness before the Lord.”
Masturbating
He also clarified that when he warns against masturbation, it is not only something you do to yourself. It includes masturbating one’s spouse to arousal or orgasm. This is consistent with the dictionary definition. He stated, “Do not use your hand to stimulate anyone to orgasm. It is masturbation done on you by your partner rather than yourself.” He warned, “Manual stimulation is masturbation. It is a sin.”
In fact, the word masturbate comes from two root words that mean “hand” and “defile”.
“Touching your wife lovingly is not a sin, but it becomes a sin when she feels like you are masturbating her. Our hands are not meant for such an act. If your wife touches you such that you release without penetration, that is a great sin, so we need to be careful…I want to be very clear that when I refer to ‘touching your wife lovingly,’ it is not masturbating her for arousal. I do not say a man should do that. The Lord told me He detests all forms of masturbation.”
Personal Lubricant
Lastly, in response to my inquiry, he said, “[Personal] lubricant and condoms were never shown to me as sin at all.” However, the Lord also did not say to Pr. Olugbenga that using condoms is not a sin. If you have questions, you should seek the face of the Lord Jesus Christ on that.
Embattled celebrity couple, Tiwa Savage and her husband, Tunji Balogun, may have secretly settled their differences and working on rebuilding their shattered marriage over allegations of infidelity.
It is believed that motive behind this comeback might be as a result of the couple’s commitment to impact positively on the life of their son, Jam Jam.

Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara, the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), and Founder of CAC Agbala Itura has advised men of God not to hide under the pretence of working for God to deny their wives the care and love.
Abiara said this in response to a letter written by a woman who has been denied s*x by her husband who is a minister of God. In the letter, the woman complained that she has been married for 11 years with the husband, but he he prefers to go to the mountains instead of satisfy her sexual cravings.
In his reaction, Prophet Abiara said, “your refusal to touch your wife does not make you holy. As old as my late wife was, we romanced regularly before she died.
Don’t hide under the pretence of working for God and neglect your wives because God loves women and He is behind them because it was through them Jesus Christ came to the world.
The man of God also kicked against divorce, saying that it is not biblical, adding that no man should marry more than one wife.
“I married my wife in 1965 and since then we never fought or involved third party in our marriage, rather our love continued to wax stronger. I love my wife even even after her demise. The General Overseer of RCCG and his wife is a good example for families to emulate,” he said.
He further warned that parents should not allow divorce, saying that it affects the children in return. He also warned parents to always allow their children to marry whoever they love.

It has been revealed that no fewer than 14,200 Benue youths are currently living with the dreaded HIV/AIDS in Benue State.
The revelation was made by the President of the Association of Young People Living with HIV/AIDS, APYIN, Fabian Tor.
Tor made this known at the 2016 World AIDS Day celebration in Makurdi with the theme, “Hands on for HIV Prevention.”
According to him, “The development is a serious issue but our members are committed to ensuring that the virus does not move from us to another, or from one person to the other.
“In fact, we are working hard to ensure that anti-retroviral drugs get to our members, that the virus is suppressed and that the infected live happily.”
In his speech, Country Director, United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, UNAIDS, Dr. Camara Bilali, said the world body identified Benue State as one of the states with high prevalence rate of the virus.
Represented by Mrs. Ashir Wende, Project Manager, World Bank Assisted HIV/AIDS Programme Development Project, Benue Office said:
“The UNAIDS would continue to lead and inspire the world to achieve its shared vision of zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination and zero AIDS-related deaths.
“The UNAIDS is well positioned to provide necessary technical assistance to ensure that 90% of people living with HIV know their status, 90% of those diagnosed with HIV are accessing sustained anti-retroviral treatment, ART, and 90% of those on ART achieve durable viral suppression.”
Governor Samuel Ortom, who was represented by the Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Dr. Cecilia Ojabo, in his speech, assured that his administration would continue to partner relevant agencies to stem prevalence of the virus in the state.

A popular South African clergy, Prophet Rufus Phala of AK Spiritual Christian Church in Makgodu, Limpopo, has stunned people with his unusual healing methods.
The man shocked members and outsiders when he made his church members drink Dettol.
This is coming just a few weeks after one Prophet Lethebo Rabalago sprayed his congregation with Doom, to heal them of afflictions.
According to Daily Sun SA, Prophet Rufus made his church members drink Dettol during Sunday service.
Prophet Rufus reportedly told the congregation to drink the antiseptic liquid, promising they will be healed of their sickness.
“I know Dettol is harmful, but God instructed me to use it. I was the first one to drink it,” he claimed.
He also claimed he has been getting WhatsApp messages from people who say they have been healed.
Dr Mabowa Makhomisane, a general practitioner, said Dettol is harmless when mixed with bath water or when cleaning a wound.
“But if it goes into your stomach and gets absorbed into your body, it decreases the amount of oxygen in your system. This might cause to you collapse and die.
“If you vomit the liquid into your lungs, it causes aspiration pneumonia.
“Your lungs will get swollen and you won’t be able to breathe.”
Dr Makhomisane advised the people who drank the liquid to consult a doctor to check whether any damage was done.

The dog owner, Ryan suffered a brain hemorrhage aged just 33 and by the time he got to hospital, doctors said he couldn’t be saved.
As his parents and sister Michelle gathered themselves to pay their final respects, they knew someone was missing.
Fortunately, the hospital kindly allowed his dog Mollie to be brought in and Michelle captured this heartbreaking photos as she licked her owner one last time.

“The hospital did the sweetest thing for us and allowed us to bring my brother’s dog in to ‘say goodbye’ so she’d know why her human never came home.
If you knew my brother, he really loved his sweet dog.”

A lady identified simply as Rachel has reportedly killed the wife and children of one pastor Isaac Shofolabo whom she was having an affair with after setting his home on fire. The incident occurred around 01:00a.m at 46, Oladunni Memorial Street, Double Powerline, Ejibo Lagos state.
According to neighbors, Rachel who is their tenant, has been dating the pastor who is in charge of Celestial Church of God, Joy of the Lord Parish located inside the premises for five years.
The pastor’s wife, Mary Shofolabo, his children Taiwo, 19, and Iredamola and a relative, Kazeem, 7, died at the General Hospital, Gbagada where they rushed to for treatment.
According to Nation News, narrating what happened, a neighbour who wants to remain anonymous said;
“It is a terrible thing, very shocking. It happened around 1am. It was Mama (the late Mrs Shofolabo) that woke up other residents with her scream. I was in my own room when I heard her voice and came out. Coming out, I saw fire on her body and she was shouting that Iya Rachel has burnt everyone in her house. That she saw someone moving from her house and thought it was a thief. But when she looked from her window, she saw that it was Iya Rachel. Since they are not close, she screamed and asked her what she was doing in her house. She woke up the other children at home and told them she saw a thief moving round and when they tried to go through the door, they realised it was locked from the outside. It was when they were returning to their room that they heard the explosion and people started running. It was Mama that used her hand to break her window so that they can all come out from there. When I saw her, fire was on her body and she was shouting that we should go and help her children inside the house that Iya Rachel has set fire in her house. I got to the place and saw Taiwo, Segun, Elijah and one other person.
They were the ones who told me that Kazeem was still inside, at that time, the fire was very heavy and no one could enter. Neighbours started trying to put out the fire while some of us rushed them to Isolo General Hospital but they were rejected. We went to a private hospital and they said we have to deposit N200,000. Since we didn’t have the money, we rushed to Gbagada General Hospital. There was no car and so, Mama and others were put inside tricycle, I stood by the edge of the tricycle, while Taiwo was carried on a motorcycle. By the time we got to the hospital, around 2am, Taiwo was swollen. They started treating them and they were responding. Mama even told the doctor on duty what she saw and explained everything to him. But later in the day, she passed on and few minutes after her, Taiwo died too. Their father came back from vigil around 4am and he saw what has happened. He followed some of the neighbours to the hospital to see them. The police was contacted that night. At the trauma and burns section of the Gbagada General, family members and sympathisers trooped in to see Segun and Elijah, who were severely burnt.
The surviving siblings, Bunmi, Felix and Kehinde corroborated the claim by the neighbours saying their mother narrated what happened in the presence of the doctor before she died.
Weeping uncontrollably, Bunmi revealed yesterday was her sister, Taiwo’s 19th birthday, adding that she and her colleagues at her work place had planned to celebrate it for her.
Bunmi said:
“Taiwo was very happy because it is the first time her birthday would be celebrated. At the saloon where she worked, her madam and colleagues had planned a celebration for her and she even called my cousin around 12am on Saturday telling her of the dress code and her new dance step. We do not have anyone. Our mummy was our only support and now, she has been taken from us.
My daddy knew the woman over five years ago when she moved into our compound with her husband. But her husband left when he discovered that she was my father’s lover. The woman has been causing problems for my mother. She was the reason I left the house. At a point, I told my mother to leave them that she should not put her mind in whatever they were doing. Yet, the woman was not satisfied. There was anniversary at the church on November 27 and people heard the woman complaining that my mother was overdressed and looking beautiful. That so, she could still look beautiful. They told my mother but she doesn’t take such things seriously. She didn’t read any meanings to it. Now, the worst has happened. We are crying for justice. We have reported to the police and we are begging them to investigate well because we know that something is not right. Let whoever was responsible for the fire and deaths of my mother, my sister, brother and Kazeem pay for it. We want justice.”
The gentleman was spotted somewhere in Akwa Ibom hawking doughnuts and the way he was dressed caught the attention of Inibehe Effiong who shared the photos and wrote:
“I don’t know this man from Adam and I do not care the part of the country that he comes from. I am using this platform to celebrate his devotion to his trade and admirable sense of cleanliness. He sells doughnut around the Uyo metropolis in Akwa Ibom State. Please patronize him anywhere you see him.
At a time that many Nigerians are seeking white collar jobs, the entrepreneurial spirit of this man deserves commendation. He has by his action given credence to the aphorism that there is dignity in labour. Instead of resorting to crime, he has proudly engaged in this business to cater for himself and his family.

Tom Ford, the famously outspoken 55-year-old designer and movie director, got really candid about sex, death, and parenting in the December issue of GQ magazine.
And in one of the interview’s most memorable and jaw-dropping moments, Ford explained why he thinks all men should be penetrated, and yes, he meant what you’re thinking, penetrated in the physical sense. Ford told GQ:

And I think that that’s something most men do not understand at all.”
This isn’t a new idea for Ford. The “Nocturnal Animals” director in a 2004 interview with GQ also declared, “Every man should be f**ked at some point in his life’.

A 120-year-old Hindu monk has put his longevity down to abstaining from sex for his whole life.
Hindu monk Swami Sivananda was born on August 8, 1896, according to his passport, and has settled into a routine of celibacy, no spices and daily yoga.
The 120-year-old virgin is now applying to Guinness World Records to verify his claim that he is the oldest man to have ever lived, which is currently held by Japan’s Jiroemon Kimura, who died in June 2013 aged 116 years and 54 days.
He gives all the credit for his longevity to yoga, food with no spices and no sex. He said:
“Discipline is the most important thing is life.
“One can conquer anything with discipline in food habits, exercise, and sexual desires.
“Control over your needs is the biggest gain in life. I have lived for so long because material things don’t make me happy.”
Sivananda believes that times have changed but he is still the same. He said:
“Because I was born in poverty, I have never had great demands from life.
“Nowadays, people are unhappy, unhealthy and have become dishonest, which pains me a lot.”
“I just want people to be happy, healthy and peaceful.”
Standing 1.58 metres tall, the Hindu monk has never slept in a bed or used a pillow in his life.
He sleeps on the floor with a jute mat beneath him and uses a stone brick as a pillow.
Whether Guinness qualifies him as the oldest man alive or not, his lifestyle has already made him a local celebrity.
He travels to give interviews and lectures on life and people from all over the country flock to him in search of peace and the secret to his longevity.
He said:
“My followers persuaded me to come forward to claim the record.
“Previously I was worried about inviting publicity into my life as these things don’t serve any purpose in life. Though my followers would be happy to see my name in the Guinness Book of World Records.”

Music mogul, D’Banj made the comment at the inaugural edition of Music Week Africa, which was held recently at the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Lagos.
Explaining the reason behind his assertion, the “focus” crooner noted that what goes on in Alaba international market can’t exactly be called piracy because original CDs are being sold side by side supposedly pirated works.
“Nigeria is the only country in the world that does not have piracy,” he said emphatically.
As far as I’m concerned, I’ve never been pirated because it’s the same place they are selling original that they are selling the fake CDs.”
When asked which was more commercially rewarding between e-sales of music and physical sales, he said “the money is everywhere. Everyone is playing their own role. The market is here”.
