North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-un has executed a senior North Korean official by firing squad because he did not sit properly during a meeting.
Education minister Kim Yong-Jin, 63, was shot dead after his ‘bad sitting posture’ in parliament incurred the wrath of the North Korean dictator.
The slouching vice premier was interrogated and found to be an ‘anti-revolutionary agitator’ before his execution in July, a South Korean official said.
‘Vice premier for education Kim Yong-Jin was executed,’ South Korea’s unification ministry spokesman Jeong Joon-hee said.
‘Kim Yong-Jin was denounced for his bad sitting posture when he was sitting below the rostrum,’ he added, referring to North Korea’s parliament.
Kim Jong-un was in the government meeting and was infuriated after Kim Yong-Jin sat in his chair ‘with a bad attitude‘.
Another South Korean official said the education official’s poor posture was spotted at a meeting on June 29, when Kim Jong-un was named chairman of a new national defence department.
‘The trouble for Kim began after he was seen sitting with bad attitude during a meeting of the People’s Supreme Assembly,’ an official said.
‘He was later accused of being anti-revolutionary following a probe and a firing squad execution was carried out in July,’ he added.
Kim Yong-chol, another North Korean official, was sent an ‘ideological re-education’ farm for a month in June and July because of his ‘overbearing attitude‘.
Meanwhile Choe Hwi, vice director of North Korea’s propaganda and agitation department, has been sent to a similar camp.

It was a gory sight as the body of a 50-year-old man, identified as Chief Ekanem Edet, dangled from a rope tied to the roof of his room at Mbiabong Itam in Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Ekanem Edet, former Secretary of the Mbiabong Village Council, popularly called Jolly Boy, waited until his wife and two sons went out before taking his life, allegedly leaving a suicide note in which he blamed his action on harsh economic condition.
According to a close family source, the deceased, in the suicide note, blamed government for inflicting unbearable pains and hardship on Nigerians.
A close associate of the deceased, Mr. Okon Effiong, told newsmen that Ekanem Edet was discovered dead by his friend, who went to visit him. He added that Edet was immediately buried after some traditional rites of passage were performed.
He said: “He was a very sociable man and always shared his thoughts on issues. I do not know why he should consider suicide as the last option to escape from these hard times.”
A few days to his death, the deceased complained bitterly about the current economic crunch.
According to a family source, “Edet took his life, blaming his action on the prevailing hardship.”
The source added that the deceased, who deals on Ogogoro, cigarettes and other stimulants, decided to take his life when it appeared that he could no longer run his small family with the meagre earnings from his trade.
A pastor at the local church recalled: “He used to complain that his petty business was no longer fetching him and his family basic needs such as food, clothing and fees for the children’s education. He was always blaming government for the economic policies that do not allow him afford basic commodities such as gari, bread, yam, rice, beans, oil, kerosene and other essential goods.”
According to him, the family was reluctant to call in the police because of the suicide note, Vanguard reports.

The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo yesterday, during the foundation laying ceremony for the construction of he Crime and Incident Data Base Center at the Force Headquarters in Abuja said that Nigeria has one of the Best Police Force in the World
“The Nigeria Police is one of the very best that we have anywhere in the world and I say so because I have worked with law enforcement agents for many years.
I have served in the United Nations special operations in the justice sector like the UN Mission in Somalia for about a year and I saw Police Forces from everywhere across the world.
The Nigeria Police was there too and everybody admitted that they were possibly the most effective on ground there in Somalia. They were effective because they were better trained, better educated than every other Police Force that was there, besides, they were well equipped by the UN,” he said

In line with its commitment to supporting Nigerian musicians by providing alternative platforms through which they can receive lucrative value for their intellectual property, MTN has announced brand ambassadors for 2016-2017.
According to MTN’s General Manager Consumer Marketing, Richard Iweanoge, this is designed to enable the company continue to support the development of the entertainment industry by financially empowering Nigerian artistes and musicians through the promotion and monetisation of content on its various digital platforms – MTN Music+, Caller Ring Back Tunes (CRBT) and Value Added Services (VAS). Music ambassadors for 2016-2017are: Praiz (Praise Adejo); Iyanya (IyanyaMbuk); Chidinma (Chidinma Ekile); Falz(Folarin Falana);Tekno Miles (Augustine Kelechi) and Skale s(Raoul Njeng-Njeng) Four other ambassadors are – Saka,(Hafiz Oyetoro); Nedu ;Osuofia(NkemOwoh) and Adamu Zango.
Speaking on this, MTN Executive, Amina Oyagbola said, “MTN remains proud to be associated with the growth and development of the careers of all our ambassadors, past and present. We specially thank all our former ambassadors for their immense contributions to building our brand and making us the network of choice in Nigeria.
We will definitely continue to maintain the strong and mutually beneficial relationship with them through the monetisation of their content on all our digital platforms – MTN Music+, CRBT and VAS.” Iweanoge again said, “With the significant investment made so far in Nigeria’s music industry, MTN remains and will continue to beone of the biggest supporters of the music industry. We have a track record of consistently providing the stage for some of Nigeria’s biggest artistes to shine and express themselves”.
He stated that through its Caller Ring Back Tunes (CRBT), MTN is the largest music distributor in Africa. “Through the platform, we ensured that Nigerian musicians would no longer suffer the scourge of piracy. They are able to make good money as a result of their hard work. Also, as Nigeria’s most innovative telecoms company, we have been able to deploy music as a platform to give other value added services to our teeming subscribers, which have also proved to be a significant source of revenue for the artistes such as theMTN Music+ app and a host of other platforms.”
For MTN, we see the growth of the music industry as a continuum and not a destination. That is why we will continue to engage and support our local artistes so that they can find full expression for their talent.
We will also continue to explore other areas of collaboration with ALL artistes through these platforms and many more, as we work to fulfil our vision to lead the delivery of a bold new digital world” Iweanoge, however, posited that for the purpose of keeping alive the original concept of music brand ambassadorship, MTN decided to retain the services of past winners and participants of its Project Fame music reality TV show, which include Inyanya, Chidinma and Praiz.
“MTN is particularly proud of these musicians because we not only gave them the platform to express their talent through Project FAME, we have consistently supported them over the years by making them our ambassadors. We are proud to have been able to contribute to some of Nigeria’s biggest music acts.”
Beyond the Project Fame alumni, Iweanoge also saidthat in order to nurture other artistes so that they too could attain greater heights, MTN wouldstill retain the services of some of its newly-signed brand ambassadors like Falz, Skales and Tekno who are the faces of its youth segment proposition – MTN Pulse. He added that there will be a renewed focus on building MTN’s digital platforms.

Africa’s richest man and Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has lost $5.4 billion which is 35% of his fortune this year, Bloomberg reports.
According to the report, the loss was due to the massive fall of the Nigerian currency as the Central Bank of Nigeria rations the dollar, to stem huge capital outflow in the wake of Nigeria’s worst economic crisis.
The Index report also blamed the sharp drop in Dangote’s networth on the slump in commodities prices and the devaluation of the naira in June by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Dangote’s net worth is now put at 9.9 billion dollars, a 62 per cent drop since January 2014. Using an average exchange rate of N250 to a dollar, Dangote’s 5.4 billion dollars loss translates to about N1.35 trillion.

With his huge loss, the continent’s second-wealthiest person, South African Christo Wiese, trails Aliko Dangote by $2.8 billion with his fortune climbing 12 percent this year on the index.
The Nigeria Bureau of Statistics, has recently reveals that the country is going through her worst economic recession in almost three decades.

In the Second Quarter of 2016, the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) declined by -2.06% (year-onyear) in real terms,” the NBS revealed.
This was lower by 1.70% points from the growth rate of –0.36% recorded in the preceding quarter, and also lower by 4.41% points from the growth rate of 2.35% recorded in the corresponding quarter of 2015.
And according to a World Bank data, the last time Nigeria had this magnitude of economic recession was under the regime of Ibrahim Babangida, when the economy recorded consecutive decline of 0.51 percent and 0.82 percent in first and second quarters of 1987.

Bisi Alimi, has been known to bash a few religious leaders in the past including Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Prophet TB Joshua, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and Bishop David Oyedepo.
In a tweet posted on his Twitter page this morning, the proudly gay Nigerian accused Oyedepo of deceiving the public with carefully calculated sermons that he uses as a marketing ploy to milk his congregants of their money.
#Nigerians, this is the kind of stupid pastoral marketing that keeps religious people in poverty. Oyedepo at it; https://t.co/YfhOezLkxW
— Ashiwaju Bisi Alimi (@bisialimi) September 1, 2016
Alimi says Oyedepo is practicing a stupid pastoral marketing that keeps religious people in perpetual poverty. He was reacting to a sermon Bishop Oyedepo gave on the importance of paying tithes in order to get blessings from God.

In the recorded sermon, Oyedepo can be heard telling people:
“Everybody believes that God has an open heaven order of blessings for his people. But you see, it takes your tithing to qualify for it. So if you only know the promise and don’t know the conditions, you will die frustrated. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of sin, of poverty, of death, but what does it take to get there? It takes faith in the demands. People just believe the promise but you also need to believe the demands.
“It is believing the demands that entitles you to the fulfillment of the promise. There is no provision in the scriptures without a condition attached. Even salvation, as free as it is, you need to repent before you can be saved. There is nothing provided without conditions to meet.”

President Muhamamdu Buhari on Thursday assured Nigerians that despite the various current challenges facing the country, Nigeria will be great again under his watch.
Buhari gave the assurance while speaking with Muslim leaders in Osun State shortly after joining them in Zuhr prayer held inside the Government House after he inaugurated the N1.35bn Osogbo Government High School.
The President led the prayers and he was joined by the Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola; Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi; Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima; and the Minister of Communications, Wahab Shittu, among others.
He urged the Muslim clerics to continue their intense prayers for the country, saying things would be better.
He reiterated his commitment to ensuring safety of lives and property in the country.
“I thank you for your prayers for the nation. God will help us to secure Nigeria and efficiently manage it. Please continue to pray for us. I can assure you that Nigeria will be great again,” the President said.
New single mum and actress, Bimbo Thomas is sure enjoying her post-natal days.
For one known to be a plus-size, it is surprising to see Bimbo Thomas flaunting a trim look in some of the new pictures she has been posting. It’s obvious she is working on her body.

Also enjoying every bit of her maternity leave, Bimbo, who had her baby in the USA in August, is still abroad and seems to have started appearing in social radar.
Dressed beautifully in a floor-length gown, she was sighted at the last edition of the AHBEA awards 2016 which held in Houston Texas last week.

Bimbo, whose fans now refer to her as mummy Jayden, posted:
“Motherhood my pride……. Star actress Funke Akindele, 39, and music producer and singer Abdul Rasheed Bello, also 39, kept their Wednesday, August 24, 2016, wedding (staged in London, the United Kingdom) very private and secret to give the union a big chance of survival.
Since the marriage is Akindele’s second and the first for Bello who has four children from three relationships, keeping their affair away from the public and organizing a low key nuptials would afford the liaison a better chance of survival, insiders who spoke to Encomium.ng revealed.
“The couple (better known as Jenifa and Skillz) kept their families dully informed about their relationship. They have practically done the introduction ceremony, and what happened yesterday in London was a formalization of the union”, a source close to them told us. “It is untrue that they kept their families out of the ceremony yesterday. Funke’s parents and her siblings were aware. Skillz children and some family members also attended the event.”
One insider disclosed to Encomium.ng, “lf you have been the subject of gossip, experienced a loud separation from your marriage and faced the backlash from all sorts of people, you will understand why they decided to go to London. Don’t forget that Skillz was based in London, he only relocated to Nigeria a few years ago. His family is there, his home is there.”
Another source volunteered, “There is no way they would have succeeded as much with a quieter wedding in Lagos. One way or another, the secret would have been leaked.
“Based on their circumstances and experiences , what they did yesterday was the best. Many people thought Funke and ABDUL went for a short holiday in London. That at best , her 39th birthday would be staged there. And they were pleasantly surprised when the news of a wedding took wings.”
At the ceremony yesterday , none of Funke Akindele’s siblings (Olubunmi, Papa and Mama) and her parents attended. But one of Bello’s children was visibly active.
Ikorodu, Lagos born Olufunke Ayotunde Akindele is the second of four children. Her mother is a doctor and father retired school principal.
She studied Mass Communication and later Law, but veered into acting. Becoming popular with the television series, I Need to Know, her Omo Ghetto and Jenifa catapulted her into mega fame .
JJC Skillz (ABDUL Rasheed Bello), born in Kano on April 4, 1977, moved to London in 1991, where his foray into music with JJC and the 419 Squad turned into a cult figure. He is a respected rapper and producer, said to be multi-talented .
Those close to the couple say they suit each other.
JJC, who hails from Kano State, has been married before. He was married to his first wife, the mother of his first child in 1995. They both have a daughter, Tamira Bello born in 1996.
The woman, who has always lived in the UK, has remarried.
JJC also has two other children from two other women.

Thought I’ve not watched Jenifa’s Diary..But I must confess, Funke Akindele is a Fantastic Actress!
But a Facebook user, Femi Owolabi says otherwise…He feels Funke Akindele is overrated and a failed attempt at Comedy.
Hepoured his heart yesterday in a post. According to him, he doesn’t find the much loved Jenifa’s Diary produced by Funke Akindele, funny at all.

He wrote
“My sisters would always tell me to see Funke Akindele’s Jennifer’s Diary, that it’s the best thing that has happened after ewa agoyin. And so, I tried seeing a few episodes tonight and really, it’s just a failed attempt at comedy, yes, for me. But, people whom were with me laughed, laughed and got so entertained by the drama.
Biko, am I the only one who thinks Funke Akindele is one overrated comedian?”
Of course, some fans of Funke Akindele reacted and he had to post this other message, moments ago.
“Yesterday, I put up a soft criticism of Funke Akindele’s Jenifa’s Diary, dismissing the work as a failed attempt at comedy, and the post attracted more insults than it could handle.
I didn’t say I hate Funke. I didn’t say Funke is not an inspiration in the industry. I only expressed an opinion which, if you like, could pass as a critical evaluation of the art that is Jenifa’s Diary.
Instead of some persons to counter the post with logical arguments, they jumped on the post with insults and some other nonsense.
One wrote, “give her constructive suggestions instead of killing her effort.” Wow!
Another wrote, “the lady is making millions while haters are hating.” Ehn ehn?
Another wrote, “you hypocrites will applaud the likes of Mr Beans and downgrade your own sister… go and sit at Ikoyi cemetery and watch your best comedy.” Like seriously?
Another wrote, “create your own and let’s assess you on it.” Laughable!
“if you think Jenifa’s Diary is a failed attempt at comedy, then I think you need help.” O boi, I have suffered!
One said, “what has this post achieved? We Nigerians are our own worst enemy.” Ha!
One simply wrote, “Mr I.T.K (I too know)” Sigh.
He continued:
You see, some people went to school and, sadly, didn’t broaden their intellection. The post isn’t an attack on Funke’s person or works, it’s simply a critical opinion of a literary critic, and you people come here to spit nonsense?
Get some education. Here are a few types of comedy that I have studied; Romantic Comedy, Comedy of Humours, Satirical Comedy, Comedy of Manners, Sentimental Comedy, Farce, and Black Comedy.
Seeing a few episodes of Jenifa’s Diary, I used these aforementioned ‘techniques’ to evaluate the work and it failed, for me.
Same with AY’s 30 Days in Atlanta, where I argued that AY wasn’t a suitable actor for the Akpors role– imagine a Warri-just-come who couldn’t speak the language properly. The same were used to adjudge Femi Adebayo’s Jelili which, for me, is a perfect work of comedy.
Funke Akindele is a fantastic actress but, for me, her recent work, Jenifa’s Diary, is a failed attempt at comedy.
Good evening.”

He took most Nigerians by surprise when he paid the country a visit about two days ago and met with entrepreneurs and local developers – the Facebook CEO, as he did when arriving the country, has done the same thing as he, this afternoon landed quietly in Nairobi, Kenya.
He shared this via his official page fem moments ago:
“Just landed in Nairobi! I’m here to meet with entrepreneurs and developers, and to learn about mobile money — where Kenya is the world leader.
I’m starting at a place called iHub, where entrepreneurs can build and prototype their ideas. Two of the engineers I met — Fausto and Mark — designed a system to help people use mobile payments to buy small amounts of cooking gas, which is a lot safer and better for the environment than charcoal or kerosene. It’s inspiring to see how engineers here are using mobile money to build businesses and help their community.”

You can’t be conversant with Nigerian social media and not have heard of Okuneye Idris, the self-proclaimed ‘Male Barbie Doll‘ who is also known as “Bobrisky” … the king of skin bleaching or “whitening” as he refers to it, who had his birthday yesterday, was offered quite a birthday present from a Nigerian who obviously has zero Chills.
Bobrisky was caught and arrested at a bar in Surulere, Lagos when a bar patron attempted fondle him, but instead of breasts, sachet pure water fell out of his chest. He was subsequently arrested and paraded.
He confessed he was into the business of dressing like a woman in order to deceive men into parting with their money.
See below for more photos and the full article.

“I dress like a lady to deceive men, says arrested teenager”
“A look at this lady will never give her away for a man. From her breast and well shaped figure, to her steps , she looks every inch like a lady. But the bubble burst after she was discovered to be a man.
19-year-old Ogunleye Idris, is one of the numerous young men who pose as ladies out there , in order to get money from their men folk. Idris who just finished his secondary school education at Kings college Lagos, last year, was apprehended in a bar in Surulere area of Lagos, Sunday, where he had as usual, dressed like a man, waiting for a prey.By sheer stroke of luck, a man (names withheld) reportedly walked into the bar in the company of two other ladies. But he was said to have been attracted to Idris who gave him an inviting look. But Idris attitude was said to have raised the man’s suspicion, when he attempted to fondle with his breast.
Out of curiosity, the man reportedly managed to touch Idris’ breast, where to his surprise, a sachet water fell off from the brazier.
This caused an uproar, following which Idris was subsequently arrested. In this interview with crime Alert, the Ogun state born disclosed that he began the illicit business this month, with a view of raising money to further his education.
Hear him,
“ I went into it in order to raise money for my education. After my secondary school education, my father told me he could not afford money for me to buy JAMB form.
Again there was nobody to help me because I am a man. I realized that men do not help their fellow men but women. Then, I decided to start dressing like a lady to deceive men and get money from them but I do not sleep with them. Whenever it gets to that stage, I stylishly excuse myself”
Asked how he usually collected money from men, he revealed that he would dial any number and if the owner happened to be a man, he would invite him over, posing as a club girl.
His preys according to him, sometimes fell into his trap while others disregarded him.
Continuing, Idris said,
“So far, I have realised N20,000, out of which I used to buy part time form in University of Lagos and a JAMB form”
Asked if his parents are aware of what he was into, he shook his head, explaining that he never paraded himself like a lady around his vicinity in Isolo.
On how he usually got himself dressed, he explained,
“ First, I would get a female dress and place two sachets of water on my breast, to make me look like a female and then, I will wear female shoes. I cat-walk like women because I always watch them walk and have been practicing the way they walk until I started this year. I had contemplated quitting at the end of next month,”, he said.

Culled from Vanguard.

Earlier this morning, Ese Walter Ark, wife of Cool FM OAP, Benny Ark who was exposed of her sexual affair with COZA pastor, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo in Abuja years back has said she married her husband just to shut people’s mouth up.
She claimed that she didn’t love him when they got married about three years ago and had issues trusting him so many months after marriage.
She says she has gotten some help and is currently dealing with all the issues. She shared the photo above and wrote;
“When I agreed to marry him two and a half years ago, I didn’t love him. Heck I didn’t love my own self. I just needed a change of story. I needed to stop being the girl everyone called an evil mistress and “graduate” to somebody’s Mrs. I thought the Mrs title was going to save my ass and bring me some sort of redemption. I was wrong.
Calling what happened next a disaster is putting it mildly. Weeks into living together brought out the worse in both of us. I thought I made a mistake. I didn’t trust him so why was I married to him. We would argue over everything and I convinced myself I wanted out despite the baby on the way. In therapy I was able to face my own demons for the first time. I realised it was never about him or the other guys I dated. I was always looking for a fix outside of myself. I was always needing someone to take away the pain and save my lonely self. I was looking for what I wasn’t because I thought that could heal me.Months of living outside my comfort zone and going where the pain was brought me face to face with my demons that saved me. I didn’t trust him because I didn’t trust me. I couldn’t love him because I had no love to give. I was always blaming him because it was easier to project than take responsibility. As I started to evolve and see my own self, I was able to see him for the first time. As I started loving myself, I was able to love him and now as I learn to trust myself, I am trusting him, one day at a time. As I lay beside him last night I remembered a quote I read sometime ago. I don’t remember who said it but it read, “when you love the one you got, the one you got becomes the one you love.” When I stopped trying to change him and let him be, I was able to give room for his own evolving. He ain’t perfect. Who wants perfect anyways? I am learning that all is as it should be in the Universe, there are no mistakes only feedback. The Universe brought the one I needed for my evolving and I am thankful. GRATITUDE is my dominant feeling this morning. If you are struggling with the one you love, know that the world’s standard of love is fucked up. Vibrate higher and love because of love.

A lovely afternoon to you all.
So, here’s the thing..Remember The Photo that caused a rekindled frenzy between Basketmouth, Bovi and Freeze? (See Above)..Well we just found out Freeze actually cropped out himself and Basketmouth’s wife from an original Photo.
We now thought Freeze and Elsie actually dated a while back! Smh.
Daniel and I had a very good laugh after we saw this! And we’re still laughing! It’s no longer a wonder why the OAP deleted the photo moments after he shared it days ago.
Thanks to Basketmouth‘s wife, Elsie who gave the diplomatic photo of the one Daddy Freeze shared to reply Bovi’s subtle shade days ago – according to Elsie, the photo was taken way back in 2008 at the dedication of her first son with Basketmouth, Jason.

She captioned the photo:
TBT….Jason’s dedication 2008…Miss the good ol’days with you Opeyemi.#thankYouLordForBringingMeThisFar
What do we call Freeze now though? Only good thing is that he got his job back… Lol

Following the reports of the singer slammed for playing the piano in panties in an Instagram video she shared hours ago, the singer took to her page moments ago to refute the reports saying she played in a bum short not panties.
The singer has since deleted both the video of her playing the piano and the one she claimed it wasn’t panties she was putting on while playing, but we were lucky to have it before she deleted it – this has us wondering why she deleted it… What does she have to lose since she’s proved it? #Skeptical.
