An elderly woman has refused to release her grandchild to the mother who abandoned him seven years ago and has now returned to seek custody.

The incident took place in a community in Abeokuta, Ogun state. It was gathered that the boy is the child of the woman’s deceased son.

Speaking in a video making rounds online, the woman revealed that seven years ago, her son’s wife told her she wanted to buy something and it was the last time she saw her, leaving her baby behind.

After seven years of singlehandedly raising the boy, his biological mother has just returned and wants to take him away.

The grandmother stated that she would not release the boy because he is the only family she has left, as she has lost her son and husband to the cold hands of death.

She also revealed that her grandson’s mother has remarried and has only come to claim her child because she was unable to conceive for her new husband.

Giving her own account, the biological mother stated that she disappeared because she needed to hustle and didn’t want to die of hunger in her mother-in-law’s house.

She claimed she saw an opportunity to travel abroad in search of a better life, and took it. However, she is now married and wants to take custody of her son.

She also asked the grandmother to reveal the exact amount she has spent on the child’s care and education so that she could settle her and take her child, but the grandmother refused.

A Ghanaian doctor has narrated how a pregnant woman who had a heart condition died after refusing an elective Cesarean Section (C/S) over her husband’s “agreement with God”.

Dr. Wilberforce took to Twitter to relay the heartbreaking incident recently. He said the woman was advised to undergo CS because her heart can’t endure the stress of labour and vagina delivery.

In response to the medical advice, she said she needed to discuss the issue with her husband first and left the hospital.

When she returned weeks later, it was already too late as the baby had died in her womb and she subsequently suffered a cardiac arrest, which led to her death.

Following her death, her husband was confronted and he stated that he refused the Caesarian session because he had an agreement with God that his wife will deliver normally.

“Client was offered an ELECTIVE (pre-planned] C/S because she has a heart condition. Her frail heart would simply NOT withstand the distress of labor and vaginal delivery! Her reply: ” I need to tell hubby about all this first”, and she left,’ the doctor narrated.

“Never showed up UNTIL Several WEEKS after. This time, in labour; but the baby’s heart had stopped beating. Baby was dead [IUFD], for days, even. When confronted, husband was like: “I had an AGREEMENT with God that my wife will deliver normally

“Long story short, the lady is in the MORTUARY. Her heart gave up – a cardiac arrest

“So a little advice to anyone who might find themselves in this situation, Decisions pertaining your body must be made by only you and you alone. Always put yourself first before the baby. You can always try again if you lose the baby, but if you lose your life, you’re done.”

A young Nigerian lady has taken to social media to reveal the shocking transformation she underwent during her pregnancy.

The curvaceous lady stated that she expected to look classy and elegant when pregnant, but was disappointed when this was not the case.

She shared short clips of her appearance before she became pregnant and videos of her during her pregnancy, and the difference was very clear.

A Nigerian man has been captured in a video trending on social media confronting a Christian woman on her way to church last Sunday.

In the viral clip, the man was heard telling the woman that she has been brainwashed by her religious leaders because the bible “is just a claim and not fact”.

He also argued that ‘God’ was invented by man to control others, and proceeded to disprove events in the bible, stating that they are false.

When the woman asked how he came into the world, the man stated that he was not “created” as claimed in the bible, but was born by his parents who also had parents.

However, when the woman couldn’t stand the conversation anymore, she left and continued on her journey to church but the man still continued bashing Christians.

He stated that poverty is the primary reason why Nigerians are Christians, as they have succeeded in selling the idea that there is a better place than Earth.

According to him, black people should visit European countries, Dubai, Malaysia, and Indonesia, to see how developed they are and they would ditch their religious mentality.

He went on to say that Japan is one of the places where people live the longest, yet they are not Christians.

He added that some pastors deceive Christians into believing God will give them a job and make them rich, whereas the only thing that can make one rich is a profitable idea, product or service.

Speaking further, he said the Government has failed the people in Nigeria so “they push their responsibility to the church”. He, then, urged people to be logical and see through the religious façade.
