It all began two weeks ago on the set of UK rapper, Tinie Tempah’s photo shoot in Lagos when 27-years old bread-seller, Olajumoke accidentally walked into the shoot and photographer, TY Bello thought it fit to leave her in the shot.
Since then, Olajumoke became an internet sensation, she’s been a cover girl for Thisday Style Magazine, modelled for April By Kunbi and signed on with Few Model Agency.
Now, the man who started it all, Tinie Tempah has spoken.
Yesterday, he declared Olajumoke as his #WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday) as he shared the photo above with the caption,

Nigerian singer, Emma Nyra has reacted to news going viral that she is broke and using her charity organization to raise funds to push her music career. This is coming on the heels of her official website carrying a link through which donations can be made to her charity foundation.
Speaking about the allegation, Emma Nyra disclosed that there was no iota of truth in it as she founded the organization to give back to her people.
‘Nyra Phoenix is a charity organization under my Nyra Empire which gives back to the community and we have achieved this by teaming up with various organisations that focus on women empowerment, health, education, agriculture and other positive endeavors,’ Emma Nyra said in a statement obtained by NET.
She opened up further, ‘I have been blessed enough to use some proceeds from my career to assist in organizing various medical missions in Asaba’ (where she hails from).
The former MMMG act further revealed that her activities with Nyra Phoenix also got her Global Leadership Award for her role in woman empowerment.
Emma Nyra, who is set to focus more on her career under her outfit, says she’s ready to continue giving support to charity no matter what ‘bullies’ say.

2. Then study the menu like they are studying for JAMB.
3. It takes roughly thirty minutes to an hour for them to decide an item on the menu they want.
4. And when they do, it’s usually the cheapest. Malt, coke, cranberry juice or orange juice.
5. They take a lot of selfies while waiting for their order. A lot of selfies!
6. They laugh a lot to nothing in particular…and very loud to attract the attention of prospective boyfriends seated.
7. It is common to find them laughing loud one minute and sober the next minute when they feel a potential lead may never approach their table.
8. Their eye lashes looks like they are ready to fly. Heavy makeup is the costume. Pushup bra and waist trainer is the dress code. Add a strappy sandals & ombre wig to that.
9. They are usually with power banks cos they know it’s going to be long wait. And of course, that time can be spent in achieving the next level in Candy Crush.
10. They keep staring around anytime anyone walks in as though they are human drone cameras.
11. They make quick dashes to the rest room every fifteen minutes to remind candidates seated that they are still waiting.
12. And of course, to retouch their lipstick and rearrange the foam in their bra.
13. Accent fluctuates between American, British, and pidgin depending on who is walking past their table.
14. When it’s time to pay for their drinks using POS after an unsuccessful outing, they pull out up to four ATM cards and contribute in fractions like church offerings.

On being single: Laughs… It’s not that they are not asking, they are asking. The main issue my mom complains about is that I can be quite picky. I am picky with reasons because I feel like I have a lot to offer. I don’t want to settle down with the wrong guy.
What’s the point? You work this hard, you do so much for your life only for you to settle down with the wrong guy! No, it doesn’t make sense to me. So that’s partly why I’m single.
The other reason is I’ve been really busy. I need a guy that understands the nature of my job and doesn’t get so insecure because of what I do.
I know the right guy will find me when it’s time. I’m not keeping him a secret, but I am dating at the moment. I am being quiet about that because I don’t think that needs to be in the public just yet.
On her type of guy: You should expect a gentle, handsome, ambitious man who treats me like a princess. A complete gentleman, someone who knows how to treat a lady, dresses well and most likely my ideal man, Amen to that! God, I hope you are listening. That’s what I’m hoping for.
On her role in Suru L’ere: In my opinion, I don’t think there are similarities. I say this because Omosigho is a complex being in the sense that she really believes that she deserves all the fine things in life in terms of her career, livelihood, fashion… everything.
She believes she deserves all of it without having to work hard at all. I’m the complete opposite. If there is any similarity, it would be that we do want great things out of life, we both want our careers to be the best but the difference is how we go about it.
Omosigho does not believe in working hard, she believes that everything should be handed down to her. I, on the other hand believe in hard work.
I believe that nothing should be given to you for free. I believe that its more valuable when you work for it. We are not similar at all.

Yesterday, an SS1 student of the Federal Government Girls College in Malali, Kaduna, was arrested after she murdered her newborn and flung the corpse over the school fence.
Daily Trust reports that the dead child was wrapped in a white cloth, but it got entangled against the metal hooks on the fence and dangled, until it drew attention and was brought down.
The Police spokesperson, DSP Zubairu Abubakar, confirmed the incident and identified the student as Ummu-Salam Umar, an SS1 student.
He said, “At about 1.15pm, the Vice Principal of FGGC, Malali, Mrs. Obianwuzia reported at the station that the corpse of a new born baby suspected to have been delivered by a student wrapped in a white cloth was thrown over the school fence.”
“The corpse of the baby was left dangling on the school fence until the police came and removed it,” he continued.
“After taking picture of the scene, it has been deposited at the mortuary.”
Ummu-Salam Umar is currently detained by the police.

A retired radiologist who happens to be the eldest child of late Ologbosere of Warri Kingdom, Chief O. N. Rewane, was yesterday burnt to death in an early morning fire in Lagos.
75-year-old Dr. Irene Damola (nee Rewane) was at at her 5, Tola Adewunmi Street, Maryland, Lagos residence where the unfortunate incident occured.
According to Vanguard, the fire started from her bedroom in the duplex occupied by her and a domestic staff.
Eyewitnesses claim the smoke was noticed upstairs at midnight, following which security men raised alarm. Efforts by the private guards in the street to put out the fire failed.
Eyewitnesses said:
“Some people even attempted to move in to rescue Dr. Damola, but the entrance door was locked. “The young lady living with her later opened the door. By the time the fire was put out by the fire service men, she had been burnt to death.”
Lagos State Fire Service Director, Mr. Rasaq Fadipe, said the fire service got to the scene at about 4.02a.m. as soon as they got the information and tried to save the lives of the occupants. He said:
“It is a five-bedroom apartment. The woman, Dr. Irene Damola, lives upstairs, while the young lady staying with her lives downstairs. The fire started from her bedroom.
“She made efforts to escape, but the fire caught up with her at the door of her bedroom, where my men met her dead. “We were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the ground floor. We gathered that before her demise, she was not walking well, and the effect of old age might have affected her mobility. We didn’t allow the fire to spread beyond the room.
“The fire could be attributed to power surge or maybe an appliance was left on, because we gathered that there was no power initially. We handed over the corpse to the police and the family, who had been sent for by neighbours.”
The corpse was handed over to policemen from Anthony Village Division.” Late Dr. Damola retired as a radiologist in Saudi Arabia before returning to Nigeria. She also worked at Lagos University Hospital, LUTH.
No fewer than 56 people have reportedly been killed in an Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Borno State, after two female suicide bombers allegedly blew themselves up.
News broke on Wednesday of the twin blasts that occurred Tuesday morning, which killed 56 people at the camp which houses about 50,000 in Dikwa, northeast Nigeria and injured another 78, Reuters reported.
A third female bomber who was arrested gave officials additional information on the attacks.
Officials blamed Boko Haram for the bombings which, was not known about until yesterday because of the disruption to telephone services.

A Nigerian couple based in Houston were arrested on Tuesday after they allegedly forced a 38-year old Nigerian woman to work as a personal slave while subjecting her to bizarre abuses, including making her strain leftover milk from cereal bowls to use in her tea, and, in one instance, beating her because she dressed the couple’s child in the wrong pair of socks.
A report by Houston Press says that Chudy Nsobundu, 56, and his wife Sandra, 50, were apprehended on Tuesday and charged with forced labor, visa fraud, withholding documents and harboring conspiracy after allegedly enslaving the Nigerian woman and forcing her to work as a nanny to the couple’s five adopted children without pay.
In addition to physical and verbal abuse, federal prosecutors allege the woman was denied basic living necessities — like fresh food, fresh water for drinking and bathing, and access to medical treatment — and was allowed to leave the couple’s five-bedroom house at the end of a quiet Katy cul-de-sac only when she was taking the two youngest children out for a walk.
In 2012, Sandra Nsobundu allegedly contacted the victim, who was living in Lagos, Nigeria, at the time, through a mutual friend and asked her if she would come to the United States to care for her adopted children. The Nsobundus have five children, ages 21, 12, nine and two three-year olds (according to public records, the 21-year old is a registered nurse). The victim signed a “contract” to perform the duties, for which she believed she would earn $100 a month, and soon traveled to Texas using fraudulent identification documents allegedly paid for by the Nsobundus.
Once she arrived at the Nsobundus’ home at 6415 Arroyo Hill Court, the couple allegedly threw all of the woman’s clothes in the garbage and told her she was not allowed to have her own possessions, including her passport, which the couple allegedly kept locked in their bedroom. The feds claim she was forced to sleep on the floor in the two youngest kids’ rooms because, as the Nsobundus told her, she was “too smelly” for the bed.
The victim told investigators with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that she worked 5:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. every day, and was not allowed to watch TV or even sit down during her workday. She was allegedly not allowed to eat fresh food, only leftovers, and could not even use fresh milk for her tea. Instead, Sandra Nsobundu made her “strain the milk out of the children’s bowls of cereal,” according to the complaint.
The complaint also alleges that Sandra Nsobundu would physically abuse the victim, who had a “deformed” left arm that didn’t heal right after a motorcycle accident in Nigeria, if she did not perform her duties to the Nsobundus’ expectations.
The victim told ICE that in one incident around Easter last year, Sandra Nsobundu “did not like the socks that she had put on” the youngest child, so Nsobundu dragged the woman down by her hair and slapped her in the face with a slipper. Nsobundu then allegedly told the woman that she would “shoot her and kill her” for not taking care of the kids the way she wanted her to.
Throughout her two years enslaved in the Nsobundu household, the couple would often refer to the woman as “the idiot.”
In October 2015, the woman called her bank in Nigeria and found out she had not been paid since she arrived in America, prompting her to seek help escaping from the household.
According to the complaint, in late September 2015 a caller notified the National Human Trafficking Resource Center about the woman’s situation. The next month, the woman fled the Nsobundus’ residence with the assistance of a case manager from the YMCA International Trafficked Persons Assistance Program and was taken to a women’s shelter shortly after.
Court records show Chudy Nsobundu, a registered nurse, was convicted of a misdemeanor theft in Harris County in 1982, and in Fort Bend this January, he was charged with interfering with an emergency call, also a misdemeanor (that case is ongoing). Other than that, the couple’s criminal background is clean in Harris, Fort Bend and Waller counties, as well as at the federal level (except for yesterday’s arrest).
The Nsobundus each face a total of up to 60 years in prison and $1 million in fines.

Medical students at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have reportedly shut down the university’s gates to protest the school’s decision to increase the cut-off marks in order for them to continue their medical training.
According to Sahara Reporters, some protesting students stated that the initial cut-off they were required to meet was a 2.50-grade point (GP). The university administration, however, increased the cut-off to 4.00 GP without giving current students any warning or special considerations.
“We are protesting because all the affected students feel cheated,” one of the protesting students told our correspondent. He added: “How can the university authorities justify increasing the cut-off from 2.50 4.00? It is absolutely unacceptable.” Another protesting medical student stated that a fellow student with a grade point of 3.94 had been notified by the university that he should change his degree to Education Biology. “This kind of action is unjust,” said the student.
The student union leaders had reportedly tried to broker a peaceful resolution of the dispute with UNILAG administrators but the administrators remained unwilling to negotiate in good faith.
“We decided to shut down the gates because the school authorities have shown no interest in a meaningful dialogue with us,” one of the students said.
The students said they could not tell how long their protests would last. One of them declared that it would depend on how the university addresses their legitimate concerns.
