Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly banned star player Cristiano Ronaldo from traveling to Morocco to see best friend Badr Hari.
According to a report by El Espanyol, transcribed by Spanish paper Sport, Perez banned Cristiano Ronaldo from his Morocco trips due to his poor form, weary that the player could lose form due to exhaustion and fatigue from his frequent travels.
It is well known that Cristiano Ronaldo frequently flies to Morocco to spend time with his heavyweight kickboxer friend, Badr Hari.
Some times he flies in with his private jet four times a week to Morocco with some media outlets suggesting a gay relationship between the pair.
From Monday to Thursday, Ronaldo gets his £14m private jet at 3PM, after Madrid training finishes, to Marrakech before returning to Madrid at night.
Whatever his reasons are for doing this, Perez wants it to stop as he believes it’s affecting Ronaldo’s contribution on the pitch, despite scoring 27 goals in all competitions so far.
Perez has even asked his friend Mohamed VI, the King of Morocco, to inform him when Ronaldo comes into the country. If this is true, it could affect Ronaldo’s relationship with the president and spark fresh rumours of the player’s exit from the club.

Veteran dancehall act and a former member of the defunct Afro-pop singing trio, Plantashun Boyz, Ahmedu Augustine, widely known as Blackface, who called out fellow musician, Wizkid in a recent track has opened up on his ‘rift’ with the star boy.
Blackface who spoke exclusively to Saturday Beats earlier in the week, said the young hip-hop artiste had been copying many of his songs for a long time but he decided to keep quiet just to let peace reign.
The Benue State-born performer however said he decided to speak out now because he could no
longer sit and watch someone else take the glory for his efforts.
The latest controversy follows the release of a new song by Blackface titled Killa where he was believed to have taken a swipe on Wizkid for allegedly copying many of his songs especially two tracks from his Dancehall Business album released in 2010.
“If you check properly, you would realise that Wizkid’s hit, Ojuelegba, sounds exactly the same as the track 13 on my dancehall album released as far back as 2010. You need to listen to that album to know what I am talking about. The song is so similar that I think it shouldn’t be that way.
“Well, in Killa, I sang that “they tried to copy my melody,” and the bloggers got a hint of the gist and put their reports out. What I said is the truth and I am going to get to the root of this matter because I deserve justice.
“The Ojuelegba song has made so much revenue for Wizkid. I am not bothered about that but I want the industry to be in a position whereby people will understand that some of the artistes and the songs they are cheering is someone else’s efforts, especially fellow artistes that they are doing everything to bring down. All they are doing is to bring down Blackface and to say that he is not relevant in the industry. Some people are bent on killing my legacy. I believe there is definitely a gang-up against me in the industry and this has been going on for a long time,” he said.
Asked if he had taken on Wizkid personally on the matter, the dancehall artiste said he did his best in that regard but that the response from the Star Boy act shocked him.
To get justice on this issue, Blackface disclosed to Saturday Beats that he could seek legal redress if Wizkid or others do not refrain from stealing his intellectual properties.
“There was a time Wizkid followed me on twitter and I told him that I don’t want him taking my songs and that if he wants to do any of my rhythm, he should let me know. I told him that because I was just being a big brother to him. I told him that our songs can’t be sounding so similar and that if he wants anything, he should let me know.
“But after some time, he ‘unfollowed’ me and it was shortly after then that the Ojuelegba song was released. I don’t have any problem with Wizkid or any other person, all I am saying is that they shouldn’t be tampering with my songs because those are my properties.
“Wizkid and I do different kinds of music and he doesn’t have my type of skill. I don’t have a problem with that. I am only bothered when somebody takes my song and tries to turn it around into theirs without giving me due credit,” he said.
Efforts to reach Wizkid to react to Blackface’s claims proved abortive as his phone numbers were switched off. His manager, Sunday Are, couldn’t be reached as his line was switched off as well.

Chicken Republic is one of Nigeria’s largest fast food restaurant and over the week they tweeted the above ad on their official twitter page.
It was captioned: “Why eat your words when you can eat our meals”
The image had “Special delivery for Olisa” written with an EFCC logo on the ad which apparently is a reference to reports that PDP’s Spokesman – Olisa Metuh allegedly ate or tried to eat a document containing statements he made to the EFCC so it won’t be used as evidence against him in court which Metuh has since denied he did.
But that didn’t stop Chicken Republic from latching on the controversy and using it as a publicity stunt for their brand.
Nigerians of course found the ad and promo rude and distasteful as they came for the brand on social media.

So I was coming back from Wuse, precisely Golden Gate Hotel, close to Wuse Market and decided to pick a taxi adjacent Zenith bank.
And this particular Taxi drove up to me with a driver and two passengers in it (male and female), the driver stopped where I was standing and asked where i was going to and I said Mpape, He asked the other ladies waiting and they said Katampe junction, the driver said since we were all going towards the same direction He would take us straight there.
we got in, he drove up to about Nicon Junction ,the lady who was inside before me decided to drop and after she did, the driver now asked the other guy who was also in the taxi before me if he had any load and the guy said yes, the driver started snarling at d guy, asking why the guy told him the first time that he had no load and d guy said he told him. the driver now asked the guy what was his load and the guy said just shoes and a carton of clothes.
To our surprize, the driving told the guy that what was in the carton wasnt clothes and the passenger repeated that it was his clothes and the driver said, “okay,since its clothes inside the carton, i will drive you to the police station, and all of a sudden the guy started begging d driver, we were all shocked, the driver now asked him where he got all d money in the carton and the guy said he worked for his Boss and he refused to pay him that is why he took d carton of money “which he said was in dollars” from the boss.
The driver now said He will drive the vehicle to the police and d guy started pleading again and offered that he will share the money 50/50 with the driver. the driver said no, that he would rather share it with all d passenges and the guy agreed, they now agreed on where they’ll take the money to be shared, the rest of the passengers as well as myself were all quiet through out the arguement..they both agreed that we all should take it to a particular place and share,” i have never heard of the place before”.
I had a very terrible feeling about the whole arguement and decided to drop so i told the driver that i did not want to be a part of the sharing and he started abusing me, saying all sorts of things that I dont have the mind to live in Abuja which happens to be a place for the tough “as he put it”. so i dropped and took another taxi to my location leaving them to share their money alone.
Just few hours later,news broke out that corpses of two young ladies were discovered at a particular location with their private parts and some organs missing. from the description given,it all went down to the very people i was with in the Taxi.

Recently, singer, Davido, singed a record deal with multi-million dollar Record deal with Sony Music at their headquarters in New York and this got the singer in wild jubilation as he never imagined such deal.
One of his family members who is proud of him is his brother, Adewale Adeleke, better known as HKN Chairman, as he stated that they have been succeeding without making use of their father’s investment.

9ice has finally revealed that his ex-wife Toni Payne ‘never cheated on him’ and that the song which led to the whole speculation, ‘Once bitten twice shy’ was not about her.
In a statement posted on the singer’s social media accounts, he disclosed that he has never accused Toni of philandering neither did he tell anyone anything like it.

When it became clear that the extent of your injuries was too severe for the local facilities here in Nigeria, An Air Ambulance was scrambled from the United Kingdom to get you much needed Specialist Care in the United Kingdom. Your tireless mum who flew in from the United Kingdom, barely 48 hours after the accident, accompanied you in the Air Ambulance. Still we Prayed and Prayed and Hoped for the Best.
Sadly We lost you a day after you arrived in the United Kingdom. The Surgeons tried desperately. You fought desperately to hang on. But in the end, it was not to be. The pain is palpably raw as it is numbling. We asked again and again, Why you? Why You? If only you had stayed on in the country of your Birth, If only…so many questions but very few answers. Your Parents, Your Grandparents, Oh! Your Grandma, with whom you celebrated her 80th Birthday over here in Nigeria a few years ago has refused to eat since she was informed of your passing nearly a week ago…All she repeatedly does is wail, wail to space “God Take Me instead, Give My Granddaughter back to Nigeria. A celebrity Psychiatrist, Maymunah Kadiri, has disclosed that eccentric media personality, Denrele Edun is neither gay nor suffering from a mental condition.
The celeb shrink made the revelation after her personal encounter with Denrele on the set of upcoming campaign movie, ‘Peppersoup’ where Denrele fell on his face.
Taking to her Facebook, Maymunah penned a long piece titled ‘The Denrele Edun you must meet and know,’ while also recounting her experience with Denrele and why he was their choice as lead act for the campaign.

As a Physician in private practice, it was pertinent and very necessary I had to acquire business management skills.
With this in mind, I became a google rat and this got me to Enterprise Development Center of Pan Atlantic University.
Almost throughout my school days, a particular young man named Denrele Edun became my unofficial client/patient. Over 90% of the students including some facilitators believed he was a #sick, #crazy, #psycho #mad man. He was constantly used as a case study to explain the business in the entertainment industry.
Thinking this was the end, I proceeded to China European International Business School and it was the same story. At this juncture, I stopped explaining to people to stop the labelling and stigma because all fell on deaf ears.
Fast forward, our organization decided to campaign and increase the awareness on mental health by creating documentaries to depict this Societal menace.
Our first script came through and was named Peppersoup. The producer and I decided to look for the right person who will really showcase this character and ….Denrele Edun came to mind. I’m sure you are also thinking what I’m thinking….Denrele is already a mad man na…so, why him.
We prayed that he will accept the role and make himself available for the shooting. Lo and behold, Grace Edwin Oboba, our beautiful producer sent him the script and then…..the BIG NEWS!!!
Denrele did not only accept the script, but fell in love with it…for the following reasons below….
Denrele doesn’t smoke cigarette or other psychoactive substances.
He also doesn’t drink alcohol.
But he loves to drink #peppersoup
With these 3 factors, a goal we set to achieve in the first quarter of the year came through within the first 2 weeks of the year…but of course with some financial stress.
With all the excitement, shooting started immediately…..with him were some Nollywood stars such as Beverly Osu, Lisa Henry Omorodion, Lilian Afegbai, Layole Oyatogun, Tayo Phillips among other lovely actors.
Gbam….the unexpected happened… Denrele got injured when trying to act his role to the satisfaction of our viewers.
He fell when he wasn’t on any stage or wearing his controversial shoes. It was just an innocent fall that could happen to anyone on set. Thank God the shooting was within a hospital setting, so he was given the necessary medical attention. The amazing part was that he continued the shoot ever when everyone wanted the production to end for the day….what a brave young man and we appreciated him greatly.
So, contrarily to people’s view on the injury Denrele had on set from some stupid act, please know that he was diligent and very professional on set.
Do you want to know what a Shrink/Psychiatrist thinks about Denrele at this point…..wait no longer, here are the answers…
Denrele is a handsome young man who is very intelligent and passionate about his career. All you see is his prolific way of standing out of the crowd because he is destined to be unique. Socially, he neither drinks alcohol nor smoke any psychoactive substances. …….and also he is NOT Gay. So keep calm and stop drinking phensic for his headache.
Remember, what Martin Luther King Jr said in his great speech of 1963. He said and I quote “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character”. Don’t be too quick to judge him or any other person. Stop the cyber bullying, labelling and stigmatization.
Denrele has officially being seen by a Shrink/Psychiatrist and given a good mental state of health.

For some months back, it has been in the news and rumored that two talented singers, Flavour and Chidinma could be possibly having hot romance while considering the rate at which they continue to kiss when they work together.
In several interviews, both stars have continued to deny that there is nothing romantically brewing between them but some fans still find it hard to believe.
Chidinma was recently on TVC entertainment programme monitored where she emphatically stated that there is nothing between her and Flavour except a working relationship.
She further narrated that her Pastor did ask her to explain what she meant by the kiss was not real but she told him it was just acting and nothing real.
Speaking about her continuous kiss with Flavour, Chidinma said, “My pastor asked me to explain when I said the kiss between I and flavour is not real but we were just acting,” noting that “I and flavour are cool and after work, we move unto the next one.”

The Zamfara state Governor Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari, was accused by two publications – City People and The Polity of dating Zahra, the 21 year-old daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari.
They also claimed the Governor, who is Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum, gifted her a whopping $200 million.
Prompt News Online reports that the Governor, via his lawyer, Mahmud Magaji, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has vehemently denied the reports, and sent letters to both publications this week, threatening to sue them if they do not clear Yari’s name.
“The above publication, no doubt, is false and defamatory, and it is intended to bring the reputation of our client to ridicule and cause odium or malignity to our client.
“Since the above publication, our client has received countless phone calls and text messages from family, friends, colleagues and associates, who incessantly call to enquire about the said publication.
“Consequent upon the above, it is our client’s instruction that we demand from you published retraction of the said defamatory piece in three national newspapers inclusive of your own – City People, The Polity.”
Governor Yari also threatened to sue the publishers of City People and The Polity – N10 billion and N100 billion respectively if they do not retract the publications and print apologies within seven days.
Recently, actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie, shared the picture of her post baby bod and got the applause of many as she has been able to return to shape in no time but one person is so happy for her on her shape and that is singer, Tiwa Savage.
Tiwa Savage came out to express her happiness for the actress as she explains that it is not easy putting to bed and still being able to retain the shape.
She pointed that as a new mother, if one is not careful, they can easily get pressured by their foreign counterpart who seems to get their body back in two hours.

Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah, in a recent interview with Highlifetoday in United States of America, has disclosed that she still understands her language Twi but has the challenge of speaking it fluently.
She said the reason why she can’t speak it fluently is because she has a Canadian background and also most of her friends speak more of the English language, which is why she can’t flow with the Twi language.
Jackie boasted that despite not fluent with the language, she is good at saying some proverbs with them and might soon be producing a movie in the language.
“I can speak Twi, I understand but I’m not able to flow as others do, maybe due to my upbringing. I have a Canadian background so that could be one of the reasons.
“Another is that I mingle with people who speak English and that also is not helping me but don’t worry I know my roots. For all you know, I might produce a twi movie one of these days,” she said.
