Mixed reactions have trailed a video of popular singer,Davido’s response to a woman who hailed him as “Chioma’s husband”.
In the trending clip, Davido was captured in his car as some persons, including a lady whose voice was the loudest, bade him goodbye.
The woman, who spoke in Yoruba, went on to praise the father of four and declared him the one and only husband of his wife, Chioma Adeleke.
“Oko Chioma. Chioma lo le se,” the woman said.
The statement got the singer really excited and he immediately responded with intense zeal and vigour, “FOR LIFE”, reflecting his lifelong commitment to his wife.
The video has stirred mixed reactions online, with many making reference to the singer’s alleged affairs with different women.
Recall that the 30-year-old singer was recently called out by an American woman Anita Brown and French woman Ivanna Bay for allegedly impregnating them.

The veteran actor gave this advice in a video posted on his Instagram page while recounting the story of a woman who died after being abandoned by her partner due to a liposuction infection.

Reality TV star, Victoria Adeleye popularly known as Vee, has taken to social media to express her displeasure with a plumber who allegedly scammed her.
Vee revealed that she was billed N150,000 for a job worth N20,000 and expressed her intention to report the case to the police.
However, someone made a case for the plumber, stating that she should leave him alone because many people are suffering in Nigeria.
This comment infuriated Vee and she maintained her stance to arrest the plumber and said he will ‘eat in jail’.

Well, it appears chef Dammy has now gone back to her regular student life, as a recent video of her that surfaced on the internet showed her fetching water from a well without her bodyguards.

Nigerian singer, Portable, has reportedly survived a ghastly motor accident with his brand-new G-Wagon.
His g-wagon automobile was severely damaged in the collision, which occurred on Wednesday, July 12.
The distressing state of Portable’s g-wagon was captured in an online video, highlighting the extent of the wreckage.
However, the artist remained upbeat and stated his intention to get another automobile as soon as possible.
He acknowledged that his present automobile was the result of his hard work, and he hoped that his devotion to his craft would allow him to replace the damaged vehicle.
Portable also addressed false claims that occurred following the disaster in the video.
He stated that certain people had falsely accused him of participating in rituals, adding that these accusations were incorrect.

Guinness World Records has reacted to the increasing number of Nigerians aiming to break new records.
This surge in interest came after 26-year-old Nigerian chef Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual.
Following her achievement, there has been a notable rise in the number of Nigerians attempting to break records in various categories.
Some have embarked on cooking marathons, singing marathons, and, most recently, a Nigerian man started a cry-a-thon, all in an effort to claim a world record title.
One curious Nigerian, using the New Threads app, recently asked Guinness World Records if it were tired of Nigerians constantly attempting to break different records.
“Aren’t you people tired of my country?… Nigeria, we’re trying to break all records.” The user wrote, to which Guinness World Records replied, “We welcome applications from all over the globe. We can all be friends.”

Popular American actress and Nickelodeon star, Jennette McCurdy has revealed she was showered by her late mother until she turned ’17 or 18′.
The former child actress, who is now 31, claimed that she never showered alone until her late mother, Debra, started battling cancer and passed away at age 56 in 2013.
Speaking on the Louis Theroux Podcast, Jennette disclosed that her mother would stay clothed while ‘shampooing and conditioning’ her hair and ‘washing her body’.
She added that her mother would also examine her breasts and private parts for signs of lumps or infection.
‘She would give me breast and vaginal exams in the shower and said that she was checking for lumps – she was just checking for cancer.’
Jennette described the experience as “uncomfortable,” but said her mother became “hysterical” when she complained about it.
This is not the first time the thespian is making disturbing claims about her mother. In September 2022, she revealed that her mother forced her and her older brothers to shower together until she was 11.

Three suspected kidnappers have been reportedly struck dead by lightning in Oro Ago, an agrarian community in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State.
The Nigerian Tribune reports that the incident, which occurred three days ago, is believed to be linked to the efforts of a local vigilance group in the Igbomina Kwara axis, focused on addressing security challenges in the area.
It was gathered that the victims of the lightning strike were suspected members of an eight-man kidnapping gang that reportedly operated in Iwo, Osun State, about two weeks ago.
Speaking on the incident, the state police Commissioner, CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi, noted that the command has initiated an investigation into the incident.
The CP added that the veracity of the incident would be determined after a thorough investigation had been conducted.
In other news, the Osun State Police Command’s anti-cultism section have detained a cow that was reportedly going to be used in an Osogbo celebration of Cultists Day on July 7th.
Residents of Osogbo’s Egbatedo neighborhood gave the police a tip-off after they observed cult members congregating there on Friday for the yearly event.
The suspects left the cow behind as they fled when they saw the cops approaching. The cow was tagged with an axe symbol and had the word “Oroki” written on it. The police confiscated the cow and took it into their possession.
The incident was reported on Saturday by SP Yemisi Opalola, the Osun State Police Command spokeswoman.
“After intelligence revealed plans by a particular cult to celebrate the 7/7 festival. The CP ordered operatives to ensure that the plan by these cultists fail.”
The operatives, working in line with that directive, combed every part of the state and went to Egbatedo, a suburb of Osogbo. When the suspects saw them, they fled but the cow they planned to use for the celebration was seized. We want to assure people of the state that the command will continue to work hard to keep the state very safe,” the PPRO stated.
A Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court A mild drama unfolded in Badagry court on Wednesday when the complainant, James Bassey, broke down in tears to beg for leniency for Puis Savoir, a dry cleaner who had been given a one-month term for stealing a pressing iron and N20,000.
Following Savior’s admission of guilt and the presentation of the evidence, Chief Magistrate Patrick Adekomaiya found him guilty.
Ikem Uko, the prosecution, stated to the court that the offense was committed on July 6 at around 7:00 p.m. at Yeponnawa Str. Church-Gate, Lagos, by the defendant.
Uko claims that the accused took a pressing iron and N20,000 from the complainant, Mr. Bassey. He said that the offense was against Section 287 of the Lagos Criminal Law from 2015.
The Chief Magistrate ruled that the court would be lenient because this was a first-time offender. As a result, Savior was given a one-month jail term, with seven days spent behind bars and the remaining three weeks spent performing community service at the Morogbo Police Station.
Mr. Bassey sobbed profusely and begged that the offender be pardoned immediately after the sentence was pronounced.
“My Lord, I don’t have a wife or children; it is this convict that always takes care of me. He used to help me do all my domestic work and massage me, but the habit of stealing my things is too much, that is why I reported him when he stole my money and pressing iron. If you sentence him to prison now, nobody will be assisting me, and this could lead to my death,” he said.

The statement read;

Veteran Nollywood actress Cynthia Okereke is dead.
Popular actor and filmmaker Joseph Okechukwu announced her tragic demise in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 12.
According to him, she passed away on the evening of Tuesday, July 11 at the age of 63.
He revealed that he had planned to pay for Okereke’s flight ticket to America before her untimely death.
Sharing a photo of the veteran actress on his Instagram page, he wrote,
“REST IN PEACE, Nwanyi oma. I am shattered beyond words.
The fact that I was about to pay for your flight ticket to come and finish what we started only to hear you went to be with Lord just last night is one of the toughest things I have had to deal with in recent times.
“I pray I am able to recover from the shock. Life is really just a mist. One minute you have it, the next you don’t. For the more than 20 years that I’ve known you, you’ve been such an amazing, decent and lovely soul to be around. Words fail me. Nollywood actress, Esther Nwachukwu, has shared her thoughts on reports that actor Yul Edochie’s first wife, May, has filed for divorce from him.
You will recall that May Edochie, who has been at odds with her husband of 18 years since he took a second wife in April 2022, is reported to have initiated divorce proceedings.
It is also alleged that, pending the finalization of the divorce, the court has granted May Edochie full custody of their three children and their mansion.
In response to this news, Esther Nwachukwu posted a video online where she criticized those who support May in divorcing her husband.
According to her, Yul Edochie did nothing wrong in marrying a second wife, and it is not enough reason for May to end their 18-year marriage.
She questioned who would be willing to marry a woman after four children.
Esther Nwachukwu also pointed out that while the court may have granted May full custody of their children, the Igbo tradition might not favor her, as Yul’s presence will always be required for important events in their children’s lives.

Jacob Olalekan Ponle, popularly known as Mr Woodberry, has been sentenced to eight years and three months in prison for organizing a multimillion-dollar fraud.
The convict, who is a well-known associate of imprisoned Nigerian fraudster Hushpuppi, was sentenced on July 11 in Chicago by Judge Robert Gettleman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois after being convicted on one count of fraud.
It was gathered that seven other counts were dropped as part of a plea agreement in April. Mr. Woodberry is now expected to surrender to the United States Marshals Service for transfer to the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, where his family members, particularly his American fiancée, will be permitted to visit him.
Mr. Woodberry, who will be deported after serving his prison sentence, will pay $8 million in restitution to seven victims. This comes after the court discovered that he is financially capable of making the payment in full, without interest.
Prosecutors, who learned he had 152 bitcoins, asked the court for permission to sell them and a 30-day notice was provided to the public for anyone with a legitimate interest in the assets to register claims, but no one showed up at the time of his sentencing.
He is expected to forfeit his assets in Dubai police custody, including a Rolls-Royce, a Lamborghini Urus, a Mercedes-Benz G-Class AMG G55, four Rolex watches, one Patek Philippe watch, and three Audemars Piguet watches.
Mr. Woodberry will also hand over 3 gold and diamond-studded rings, 5 gold bracelets and 2 gold bracelet keys, 6 gold neck chains, 1 gold and diamond-studded necklace, 1 small gold nugget, 2 bank cards, about $1,835 in Emirati dirhams, and approximately $15.45 in South African rands.

Kamsi explained that she started her JAMB preparation months before the exam, attended numerous preparatory classes, did various tests, answered tons of past questions, and even underwent time management training in school.

A Nigerian pastor, Femi Aribisala, has reacted after his son’s babymama, identified simply as Imoteda, called him out for allegedly being a deadbeat father.
Imoteda had taken to Twitter to express her displeasure in her babydaddy, Femi (Jnr), for allegedly failing to play his fatherly role.
She said this in response to a viral tweet warning single women not to use their babydaddy’s surname on their children’s documents because they will require his approval for everything.
She posted screenshots of her chat with her baby-daddy, in which she begged him to be present in their daughter’s life but he failed to respond.
Just recently on May 8, 2023, she asked for a picture of his passport so their daughter’s visa could be renewed, but he also ignored it.

I have no time to join issues with Tomi Aladekomo (@lmoteda). Those who want to believe Tomi’s (@lmoteda’s) stories are welcome. They should know, however, that Tomi’s posts on social media are not the whole truth.
Rayne is not an abandoned child. Femi has paid virtually all of Rayne’s fees for 15 years. She went to expensive schools. Rayne lived with Tomi but stayed with Femi every other week. We all took Rayne out to lunch every other Sunday. On occasions, I personally took her shopping and bought her lots of different outfits. She stayed primarily with her mother but spent some weekends with her father.
Tomi’s father is also wealthy, so. I am quite suite surprised she is giving the impression here of a destitute ab@ndoned mother.
A while ago, Tomi suddenly decided she was moving permanently with Rayne to Canada to take advantage of her citizenship, house, and free schooling for Rayne. She gave the impression that, with her rich pedigree, she no longer needed our financial contribution for Rayne’s upkeep.
I don’t know what happened, but suddenly we are made to understand that Tomi has brought Rayne back to Nigeria.
Tomi did not tell us about this. It was just randomly discovered that Rayne is in Nigeria again and is enrolled in a different school without Femi’s knowledge.
In addition, it is worth stating that Tomi and Femi have only one child together. They are not married, and it was Tomi who broke off the relationship with Femi 15 years ago. He did not break it off with her.
Tomi, as you know, my door is always open for you. If you were genuinely interested in Rayne’s welfare, and you could not reach Femi, the ideal thing to do is to get in touch with me or my wife. Both families have a cordial relationship, so it is sad to see that you chose to resort to all this unnecessary mudslinging on social media. For the sake of our granddaughter, I would suggest that you both find a better way to resolve this issue.
If necessary, we should arrange for more formal arbitration where there would be a mediator present. We and your parents are on the best of terms, so it is good to also involve them. We would also like to see our granddaughter, Rayne; we have not seen her for a while.”
Massive congratulations are in order for a young Nigerian lady, Udeh Chiamaka Victory, as she emerges best-graduating student from a Russian university.
Chiamaka graduated with a First Class Honors in Medicine from Stavropol State Medical University, one of the oldest universities in Russia.

Eve Tilley-Coulson, a US Attorney who has been single for five years, is offering $5,000 reward to anyone who finds her a husband.
The 35-year-old corporate litigation attorney based in Los Angeles, extended this enticing offer on social media because she is tired of being single.
She revealed in an interview with The Post that she initially made the offer to her close friends, stating that she would pay them $5,000 if they successfully introduced her to her future spouse.
However, she has decided to widen the scope of her offer, making it available to anyone who can help in finding her a husband.
“A while ago, I told my friends I’d pay them $5,000 if they introduce me to my husband,” she said.
“If you introduce me to my husband, and I marry him, I will give you $5,000,” she said in a Tiktok video.
Speaking to The Post, she said, “I’ve been single for about five years now, meeting people in person and on the apps. But since COVID, there’s been a weird shift in dating culture — guys don’t approach you in person, and most of the men on apps aren’t swiping to seriously date.
“So I feel like paying $5,000 for a husband who’s vouched for, meets my needs and is ready for a real relationship is totally worth it,” said Tilley-Coulson with a laugh.

Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has revealed that her first marriage ended because she rushed into it due to societal pressures.
She made this revelation in an old interview with media personality, Chude Jidenowo which has recently resurfaced online.
According to her, she just wanted to settle down and have children because she was under pressure, but sadly the marriage ended after a year.
She narrated how she was able to overcome this terrible period in her life by focusing solely on her work as a distraction and advised single ladies to avoid rushing into marriage because if they do, they will rush out of the marriage like she did.
