There this ongoing war…debate…on instagram between Nollywood Actress, Stella Damasus and a fan.
It all started when Dwayne Douglas Johnson, ‘The Rock’ who is the crush of a lot of ladies, surprised Stella Damasus by replying her tweet.
Stella had gone to see the movie ‘Central Intelligence’ at the cinema which featured The Rock and Kelvin Hart.
After the movie she thanked The Rock for such a comic movie ,”Thank You Stella, Glad you and your family enjoyed the movie, keep doing your thing!” He replied.
Overwhelmed by the response, Stella took it to her Instagram and wrote . “Some celebrities are so amazing and human. I still can’t get over the fact that The Rock responds to everyone. I am totally star struck right now.”
A fan who didn’t feel pleased with the show-off clapped at Stella.
“Well, it’s for you Nigerian celebrities to emulate from them. Most of you snub even when a fan says something beautiful to you guys. They make fans feel like a fool and not that they don’t read the comments. The only time they respond is when a fan says something bad. Kate Henshaw is the only humble celeb i know that responds to her fan respectively” the fan wrote.
….and Stella swiftly responded:
“…Just because a few people have done something wrong doesn’t give anyone a right to say you Nigerian celebrities. Why do you keep following them on social media if you don’t like the way they behave? Check the list of the people you are following, 90% of them are African celebrities, yet you come here and condemn them. Haba.”
The argument continued, see some screen shots below:

Beautiful Yoruba Actress, Iyabo Ojo in a chat with HipTV Spoke about her failed marriage while also giving her opinion on broken marriages.
She said:
“If I had problems with my marriage, it had nothing to do with my acting profession
“I wasn’t even a star when I got married. And when I got out of my marriage, I still wasn’t a star. Up until I got married, I’d only featured in one film, Satanic, and I pulled out of the industry the moment I got married.
“So I wasn’t acting in those years that I was married. I was a full-time housewife and businesswoman. I actually chose to come back into acting because I had started having issues with my marriage and knew it wasn’t making me happy.
“And I knew that wasn’t the way I wanted to live my life. Yes, there are lots of problems in celebrity marriages; and the reason is that as celebrities, we live in our own world, Daily Post reports.
She went further:
“We work hard a lot, moving from one location to the other; and usually when a female in the industry meets a male guy who just comes from the blues, he usually comes with a lot of loaded lies and sweeps some of these colleagues of mine off their feet.
“And they in turn are not patient enough to study these guys well enough, because ‘society expects them to be married.’ So people tend to marry for specific reasons, and as far as I am concerned, you mustn’t be able to define the reason you love someone to the extent of marriage.
“Once you get married for a reason, then there is a problem. I got married because I was pregnant. That was a reason. My husband married me because I was pregnant for him; that was also a reason. Most men get married to ladies in the industry because of the celebrity aura around them, only to realise that there is a lot to marriage than that.
“They also discover that in reality, these ladies aren’t as perfect as the screens project them and then the men cannot get used to the ego that comes with the profession and typically want to be the man and break those wings. And if the woman is such that wouldn’t be tamed, then there is a crisis and a collision.
Speaking exclusively to Pulse today, the 35-year-old former model stated that the reports are false, clarifying that the FIRS do not go after individuals.
She said “FIRS go after companies not individuals. And I was operating as an individual,”
She also shut down claims that she denied ownership of her N500 million Banana Island mansion which was said to be related to the tax evasion. “The Banana house is mine 1000%..lol. Proudly mine and I would never deny it” she said.
The saying that “What a man can do, a woman can do better” finds some expression on the streets of Ibadan where a number of women have taken to riding tricycles for commercial purposes. PAUL OMOROGBE tells their story.
In the beginning, they looked like an oddity in the ancient city of Ibadan known for its conservativeness. However, today they are fast gaining recognition within the transport system in Ibadan.
In a bid to make ends meet amidst economic hardship, these industrious women have taken the bull by the horn operating as tricycle riders on the busiest routes of the city.
Sighting them on the streets is rare, because they remain in the minority. But you will be sure to see them after a while.
Mrs Fikayo Esther Ogunmokun, a mother of five, was in dire straits a while ago before she began riding commercial tricycle over a year ago. She was one of the affected traders whose shop at Orita-Challenge area of Ibadan was demolished to make way for the road expansion in the area.
“I was deep in debt at the time when it happened. So I had to take up the job of a domestic help. I was being paid N1,500 whenever I could find clothes to wash or cleaning to do in someone’s house. I was often left with N500 to take home after servicing my debt on a daily basis. This was nowhere near enough to take care of my family’s needs.
“I started thinking of what to do. I was inspired by one elderly woman we call ‘grandma’ that I once saw riding a tricycle. I was at Orita one day and I boarded one ‘maruwa’ heading to Gate. I didn’t have anything doing there. I just wanted to talk to the driver about how he could teach me to ride the tricycle. He laughed at me when I said it. But I insisted that I was serious. He eventually agreed, and he took me to a place in town where he taught me for one day. I paid him N3000 that day for the training. The second day, we went out again and I had to pay him again.
Mrs Ogunmokun thereafter asked people around her for who she could get a tricycle from to ride. She eventually found someone who agreed to give her one to ride and that’s how she started.
“When I began early 2015, there were just three of us women in this business,” she added.
“I go out at 7am and close at about 8.30pm daily. My husband was skeptical about my going into this kind of thing, but he eventually agreed.”
Mrs Ogunmokun said that with a daily income being sure for her, she has been able to settle her debts and support the family which already has one undergraduate in a polytechnic in Ogun State.
“I used to make between N4000 and N5000 daily before the fuel hike. But with the increase, after buying fuel and making delivery to the owner of the tricycle, I make an average of N2,500.”
How have the male counterparts reacted to these women who have encroached on their turf? According to Mrs Ogunmokun it’s a mix of good and bad.
“There was a day I had a flat tire. One male ‘keke’ driver going in opposite direction stopped to come and help me raise the tricycle to change the tire. Some of the NURTW boys who sell tickets are civil, and the police don’t disturb us. But there are some male drivers who react angrily when they see us; maybe they feel we are delving into their world, or taking their jobs.”
The reaction of passengers is also two-way traffic: “There are some passengers who say that just for the fact that I am a woman they will enter. They admire a woman taking this step to make ends meet. Some will pay and ask me to keep the change, and there are others who refuse to enter because they are not confident women can ride it safely.”
Mrs Ajoke Oluwaseun, a female tricycle rider said she began with riding an ‘okada’.
“I had a dream one night that I was riding the tricycle little children play with. I used to work as a waste collector attached to one of the dump trucks of Oyo State Waste Management Authority. I gathered some money and bought an ‘okada’ which I would ride by myself to work, while carrying a few passengers on my way home.
After a while she thought to herself that she could also ride a tricycle. She found a person who gives out tricycles on hire purchase and took one.
“Nobody taught me how to ride a tricycle. I decided to do it because it was a far more profitable way to survive.”
Mrs Oluwaseun said that what she found to be a challenge was dealing with the union ticket sellers; otherwise she enjoyed riding the tricycle.
She has hopes that one day, she would be able to pay up the N720,000 payment target and the tricycle would become hers.
What makes the women-in-commercial-tricycle-riding phenomenon even more interesting is the fact that both the young and old are in it.
Aanu Bakare is a single woman in her early twenties plying the Molete-Gate route. She only began the business this year.
“I trained as a fashion designer. I am doing this because I need to raise money for my ‘freedom.’”
Though Aanu rides the tricycle with dexterity and said she has no issues with the males she meets while on duty, she adds that her love for fashion designing will take her off the streets once her target is met.
“I won’t do this for long because I want to go back to my previous trade. I have a partner who also rides this tricycle for business; she is a HND student.”
It has however not all been smooth sailing for this unique set of transport operators in Ibadan. Mrs Ogunmokun recounts an experience that put her out of business for over three months.
“After my first tricycle, I got a new one from one microfinance bank. Unfortunately, I had an accident. I was injured on my leg. It took me three months to recover. ;The bank took away the tricycle, and some sympathizers including my mother said that they told me that tricycle riding was not for women.” Undaunted by the incident, she got back on the streets saying, “There is no business without risks. For me this is far better than owning a shop with goods worth N1million, because sales are not sure every day, but with this I am sure that I will have something to take jome at the end of the day, no matter the number of passengers I convey to their destinations.”
The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife has shut down the campus indefinitely following protests by workers over the appointment of a new Vice Chancellor for the university by its Governing Council, The Gazelle reports.
The newly admitted students of the university presently going through orientation on campus have been ordered to vacate the school premises with immediate effect while resumption of the returning students has been postponed indefinitely.
The Registrar of the university, Dotun Awoyemo confirmed this to our correspondent on the telephone on Wednesday.
According to him, the management has decided to shut down the university for the safety of students and staff.
He said, “We have shut down the university indefinitely pending the time that we will resolve issues with our workers – Non-academic Staff of University (NASU) and Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (SSANU).
“We have asked our newly admitted students to go home and postponed the resumption of old students indefinitely.”
It was gathered that old students of the OAU were expected to resume next week after a two-month break.
Workers of the university under the aegis of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff of Universities (NASU) of OAU had begun their protests and strike action since June 6, after taking the university authorities to court over the appointment of the Deputy. VC of the school, Prof. Ayobami Salami as the new VC.
The protesting workers had on Tuesday appeared in red and black dresses accusing the university Governing Council of imposing the new vice-chancellor while they vowed to prevent Salami from resuming office on Friday.
The university management had threatened not to pay the salaries of the protesting workers should they continue with the protests and strike but the workers shunned the order as they resumed protests on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the tension on the campus heightened as the workers barricaded all roads leading to the Senate Building of the school preventing vehicular movement.
The workers said until the appointment of the new VC was reversed, they would continue to protest.
They vowed to prevent the new VC, who is expected to resume office on Friday.
OAU NASU chairman, Comrade Wole Odewunmi had accused the University Governing Council of illegality in the appointment of the new VC.
Also speaking, SSANU Chairman, Comrade Ademola Oketunde said the unions were set for showdown with the out-going VC, prof. Bamitale Omole as he completes his tenure on Thursday.
But authorities of OAU had argued that the appointment of the new VC followed due process saying the protests by the workers were uncalled for.
Aisha Buhari, the Wife of the President, has, on Wednesday, demanded a full retraction of a widely-circulated material distributed by Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, in which he claimed to have uncovered how Mrs. Buhari was allegedly mentioned as having transferred funds to a convicted former U.S. lawmaker, Williams Jefferson.
In a warning letter dispatched through her legal representatives, Mrs. Buhari said Mr. Fayose’s action was directly responsible for the publication of the “very wild and unfounded” allegations in the media.
Through the letter, titled: “Demand for unqualified retraction of the false statement published by you in various media on the 20th of June, 2016, and subsequent dates regarding our client, Her Excellency, Mrs. Aisha Buhari the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR,” the president’s wife gave Mr. Fayose five working days to retract the statement or face legal action.
“Our client has referred to us statement made by you and published on the 20th of June, 2016 (and other subsequent days) concerning and pertaining to her person for necessary action.
“The said statement which was caused by you and your agents to be widely circulated and published in various media platforms: print, electronic and online such as PREMIUM TIMES www.premiumtimesng.com on 20th of June, 2016, contains very wild, unfounded and false allegations and imputations against the person of our client.
“Specifically, in the said statement credited to you and signed by your Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, you, inter alia, false stated as follows:
“Even the president cannot claim to be an angel. The estate he built in Abuja is known to us. His wife was indicted over the Halliburton Scandal (sic). When that American, Jeferson, was being sentenced, the President’s wife was mentioned as having wired $170,000 to Jefferson. Her name was on page 25 of the sentencing of Jefferson. We can serialise the judgement for people to see and read,” Ismaila Alasa and Mary Ekpene, who signed the letter on behalf of the law firm, said.
“Take notice that unless you and your agents meet our humble demands within 5 (five) working days of the receipt of this letter, we shall take all necessary steps within the contemplation of the law to seek redress for our client.”
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, could not immediately confirm or deny if Mary Ekpere & Co. is indeed the solicitors to Mr. Buhari.
Mr. Fayose had on Monday evening distributed a statement which contained excerpts of court documents sourced from the United States Department of Justice Website.
In the statement, Mr. Fayose said Mrs. Buhari was an accomplice in the bribery scandal that landed Mr. Jefferson in jail, saying he added the link as a proof.
Although an Aisha Buhari was mentioned in the case files, those who investigated the matter have, however, said that Aisha Buhari is an impostor and not the wife of Mr. Buhari.
Two former chairman of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, have come out within the past two days say Mrs. Buhari had no connection with the Jefferson bribery scandal.
According to an exclusive report on Premium Times, the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on Thursday morning, took over the assets of three companies belonging to outspoken Bayelsa State Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce.
It was gathered that AMCON had, by notice of appointment dated April 18, appointed Muiz Banire as Receiver/Manager over the sprawling assets of the three companies located at;
1. 133 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos
2. Plot No 1161 (Silverbird Galleria)
3. Central Area Cadastral Zone AOO, Abuja
4. Abonnema Wharf Road and Abali Park in Port Harcourt City of Rivers State.
We had earlier reported here that the AMCON is set to seize the properties, barring any last-minute change of plans.
The takeover followed the interim orders granted by Justice Cecilia Olatoregun-Ishola of the Federal High Court, Lagos, on June 17 which allowed the Receiver/Manager to take possession of the said properties.
The properties were seen locked up by the agents of the Receiver/Manager in an exercise carried out under the supervision of men of the Nigerian police as directed by the Court order.
According to the said order, Ben Bruce’s companies are owing AMCON the sum of N11 billion which the companies have defaulted in paying up.
AMCON reportedly revealed that Ben Bruce used his companies sometimes in 2005-2007 and borrowed various sums of money from the Union Bank of Nigeria Plc and defaulted in his obligations to pay back.
Realizing that Ben Bruce was not ready to pay back the money, AMCON appointed the Receiver/Manager to recover the loan who alongside with large armed policemen were seen on Thursday, sealing up the premises of Silverbird Group of Companies in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
Kunle Adegoke, counsel to the Receiver/Manager disclosed that the sealing up of the senator’s properties on Thursday had “all the paraphernalia of legality.”
“Aside from the fact that the receivership was done pursuant to deeds of legal mortgages duly executed by the three companies and guaranteed by Ben Murray Bruce and four of his brothers, there is a court order backing same up.
“It must be borne in mind that innocent depositors’ money is what the Commonsense propagator and his brothers have been living large and feeding fat upon without recourse to the interest of the real labourers who own the money,” Adegoke said.

What can we say unto The Lord? All we have to say is”THANK YOU LORD”. 10 yrs ago, (June 23,2006), we got engaged. Just like a kid play, like a twinkle of an eye, it is already a DECADE ! Biggest appreciation to The Almight . Omolara, I’m happy we are both alive to see today, your perseverance and patience paid off. Thank you. Love you so much sweet.
Dear Gov Fayose, this desperado, way of playing politics has become way too embarrassing. During the presidential campaign, I stumbled upon a headline that read “Fayose’s Aggressive Method Of Governance Embarrassing Our Family, Says Brother” and I was disturbed, but I treated it as a solitary incident.
Then, you took a swipe at the president, claiming he was too old to rule Nigeria, further stating that your 74-year-old mother, allegedly wears diapers, and that Buhari is likely to be using diapers and therefore is unfit to rule Nigeria.
This was a blow to my intelligence as American presidential candidate Donald trump is 70, while his counterpart Hilary Clinton is 68 years old, both within president Buhari’s age range of 73years, with neither of them wearing diapers.
The Irish president, Michael Daniel Higgins, is even older than all of them at 75years and is as fit as a fiddle. Now this last attempt at smearing the name of Mrs Buhari and claiming Zenith bank funded your campaign is a little scary! Bros is everything ok? Because this, in my opinion, has gone too far, and is making you look like you ought to pursue a career in comedy. ~FRZ

In a dramatic twist, blogger Linda Ikeji is facing a tax evasion suit.
Reports suggest that the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) slammed her with a staggering N75 million tax bill.
Some of the tax proceeds are thought to be related to the purchase of her N500 million mansion.
Reports say that Linda Ikeji has come out to state that she is not the owner of the Banana Island Mansion she had earlier this year claimed to be hers.
There are reports that the FIRS is preparing to charge her to court on tax evasion charges.
Mischief makers are at their worst again. Like predatory locusts swarming on a bean farm, they have gathered to pierce at the jugular of Linda Ikeji, the celebrity blogger. No sooner did the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) swoop on Linda’s Banana Island home than her traducers march to town chanting victory songs. Too many of her readers are ecstatic about her recent ordeal in the hands of the FIRS.
According to a source in the FIRS, the celebrity blogger had been evading tax payment, which has amounted to the whooping sum of N75 Million. However, when asked about the purchase of the house, it was disclosed that Linda blatantly denied ownership of the N500 Million luxurious mansion which she allegedly purchased in 2015.
Linda’s denial of ownership of the edifice resonated as sweet melody to her detractors, many of whom she had consciously or unconsciously angered by persistent news of her professional and financial success. Foes of Linda are hauling invectives at her like lances claiming she is a big fraud who gloried in misleading the public about the ownership of the building and her actual financial status. Many of them are of the opinion that Linda should have simply come clean and make everyone understand that she is just a tenant in the building.
Linda’s critics are not ready to soft-pedal on her; they are vigorously attacking Linda every minute and condemning her for the way she openly bragged about the purchase of the building in 2015.
They keep referencing the fact that Linda took to her blog to post the exterior and interior pictures of the luxury apartment calling herself a ‘self-made woman’ and bragging afterwards: “I bought a two-storey luxury house in the exclusive Banana Island area of Ikoyi…and to be honest, I still can’t believe it. It’s everything I prayed my house would be. That’s me standing in front of my house. #ProudSelfMadeWoman.”
But while Linda’s detractors take her to the cleaners over her perceived fraudulence, close friends and associates of the celebrity blogger have risen to her defence. According to them, Linda’s detractors should let her be.
“Instead of attacking a career girl who worked her ass off to attain the greatest height in her chosen career, they should learn to appreciate her fortitude and grace. And if they can’t, let them go and bite a bullet,” said a very close friend of Linda. Indeed, Linda worked very hard to put herself and Nigeria on the world map; rabble rousers should go easy on her.
As you read, the FIRS has slammed Linda with a N75 million fine and the agency has initiated measures to prosecute her in a court of law. These are certainly not the best of times for Linda Ikeji but like they always say, behind every dark pall shines a silver lining.
Abubakar Abdulrahaman, the killer of Ganiyu Akanbi Bello, a Kano business tycoon, philanthropist, and Yoruba leader, has been sentenced to death by hanging on Wednesday, by Justice Kabiru Auta of a Kano High Court.
According to Sahara Reporters, the accused, Abubakar Abdulrahaman, 28, was found guilty of culpable homicide punishable with death.
He was discharged and acquitted in another charge of armed robbery.
Mr. Abdulrahaman was accused of murdering Mr. Bello on the night of June 5, 2014 in his residence at the Nassarawa Government Reserved Area (GRA) opposite Kano Race Course when he stabbed the victim in the heart with a kitchen knife.
The prosecution led by M.M. Sulaiman of the State Ministry of Justice and assisted by the nominal complainant counsel, J.I. Macaulay of Kehinde Olaitan Chamber, called seven witnesses and tendered several exhibits.
The exhibits included the knife used by him to stab Mr. Bello and the Blackberry handset of the deceased inside which he inserted his own SIM card, which made the court indict him as part of circumstantial evidence.
Making his last plea for the accused, his counsel from the Legal Aid Council, Mr. Adama, urged the court to temper justice with mercy because of his aged mother, wife and children.
The trial judge in his final verdict said that the accused deserved no mercy having committed a capital offense by murdering a breadwinner like Mr. Bello. Justice Auta remarked that the accused showed no remorse throughout the trial. He returned a verdict of hanging by the neck for the accused until pronounced dead.
Mr. Abdulrahaman broke down in tears after the verdict, which made his mother collapse in the open court. The accused was a one-time staff of the deceased’s hotel.
Justice Auta added that the accused has the right to appeal the court’s decision within 30 days.
Aisha Buhari’s outburst on Twitter yesterday continues to dominate headlines and conversations on social media. Not long after the wife of the president lashed out at Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose’s bribery accusation, Nigerians trooped out to criticise her for the ‘classless’ reaction to the Governor’s claims.
However, she is being applauded in some quarters, as many people agree that she is ‘human’ too and is capable of getting emotional especially in the face of baseless allegations aimed at ruining her hard-earned integrity.
And one of those who has hopped to her defence is popular critic and CoolFM presenter, Daddy Freeze.
“I would have done the same if I were in Mrs Buhari’s shoes,” the OAP said moments ago. “Her excellency is only human, and there is a limit to what she, or anyone else, can take!”
The OAP who is famous for his terse social commentary proceeded to call the Ekiti State Governor ‘tactless’ and ‘immature’ in his recent criticism of the first family. Also, he called out Fayose’s ‘hypocrisy’.

Afrobeat sensation Xino releases #Life (Go Far), an inspiring new song that takes a look at the bright side of life… Lagos, June 22, 2016 – “Life is magical in every way, ups and down don’t change me cause I’m focused…” With opening lyrics that are uplifting and positive, Xino’s latest single “Life (Go Far)” is an inspiring and motivational song that sings about the happier side of life.
Accompanied by an upbeat melody, the song expresses the beauty of life and offers sage advice about how human beings ought to be happy and excel in life. The chorus further reinforces this, with family and loved ones wishing us to excel and achieve much in life. Supported by the belief of loved ones in us, there is no doubt that the only way we can go is up! At the same time, “Life (Go Far)” also broaches the laws of life and love, specifically self-love. When we love ourselves and appreciate our unique gifts, talents and beauty, all is right in the world.
Here’s What The Founder of Gossip Mill Nigeria, Somto Monanu Posted on His Blog;
So on the 22nd of June 2016 I woke up to 2 emails from the Facebook team which read:
Hello,
Your Page “Gossip Mill Nigeria” has been removed for violating our Terms of Use. A Facebook Page is a distinct presence used solely for business or promotional purposes. Shockingly, this Email did not come as a surprise to me as Gossip Mill Nigeria is practically the fastest growing Nigerian page on facebook and the most active as a matter of facts they are only 2 Pages with more Fans than us Naij with -3million fans and information Nigeria with 2.8million fans and for a while now we have been Victims of a series of senseless Copyright reports from disgruntled Fans and Competitors.
What these disgruntled fellows do is visit the facebook Copyright Report Centre create fake Emails and then file in a series of reports claiming to be the owners of videos or Photos we have permissions from the real owners to post, then facebook innocently takes down the videos thinking they are protecting the copyright of the content creator not knowing they are unknowingly doing the evil biddings of Mischief Makers.
After 3 or 4 copyright reports are lodged against your facebook page it will be deleted or Unpublished by Facebook both words actually mean the same thing.
Early this month these Mischief Makers Created a fake Email and Reported a couple of Mark Angel Comedy series videos and some other videos.
I then called Mark Angel and he Categorically told me he never filed any copyright report and that another popular African facebook page named We African Nations was also experiencing a similar Problem.
I Immediately contacted the facebook team Back by sending a
Copyright Counter Complaint: #130114570721513 :
Explaining to them that i had permissions from the content creators of the video posted, The videos where then reinstated what was not clear to me was whether it was reinstated by the facebook team or the Person who reported it but that did not actually matter as the damage had already been done as facebook had already placed a 30days ban on my page the instant the videos where initially deleted, I was under this 30days ban but still the Copyright reports kept on pouring in till the Page was eventually Deleted.
I respect the fact that facebook Protects the copyright of a content creator but then they leave we the Facebook Page Owners vulnerable as anyone with access to this link ”Copyright Report Centre” can come to your facebook page and delete any Photo or video he or she feels like deleting, And facebook will not carry out any proper investigation before deleting your page.
Something similar happened to sowore of SaharaReporters a while back Read it on Here or Here.
The Painful Reality is if whoever reported the passport reports one or two more articles on SR’s facebook Page, Facbook will take it down not even bothering to properly investigate what actually transpired.
Does this mean no matter the amount of fans you have on facebook your page is completely Worthless and can be deleted at anytime by facebook?
Well i then embarked to find answers to this question on the internet and the results i saw was shocking as this kind of Malicious act has been happening for a while now see other similar stories.
Facebook is not in a position to adjudicate disputes between third parties. If you believe these reports are not being made in good faith or are inaccurate, we suggest you or your legal counsel contact the complaining party to discuss this further.
Facebook literally leaves you at the mercy of anyone who decides to wake up one morning and file A Copyright report against you i was even lucky they replied me once (As shown in my Above screenshots) Because i have been trying to contact them back ever since but i keep getting automated Mails or no response at all, Still can not find a way to get to an Actual human being at facebook.
Anyone with any useful information on how i can get through to the facebook team can reach me on my Phone number +234 7059938925 or email [email protected]
Tragedy struck at Alhaji Ede Avenue in Igando area of Lagos, after a 19-year-old lady allegedly committed suicide following a quarrel with her lover. The deceased, Uche Obiora, was said to have visited her lover’s home over the weekend. There were, however, different accounts as to how the tragedy struck.
A version of the account said a quarrel ensued between them, over suspicion by Obiora that her boyfriend, Ernest Ihaza, was having an affair with another lady.
Another version stated that during the visit, Ihaza announced his intention to discontinue with the relationship. During the verbal confrontation between them, Ernest was said to have stormed out of his apartment.
However on arrival, he reportedly met Uche writhing in pains on the floor holding on to her stomach. Ernest, who later reported the case at the Igando Police Division, disclosed that Uche drank poison, Vanguard reports.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Dolapo Badmus, said: “Ernest Ihaza reported at the Igando Police Station that his girlfriend, Uche Obiora, committed suicide by drinking snipers insecticide. We are investigating the matter.”
The police in Lagos State have arrested a woman, Funmi Otitoloju, for allegedly brutalising her 12-year-old niece identified only as Adeola, in the Baiyeku community of Ikorodu. Otitoloju allegedly used a razor blade to cut the girl in the neck and hand because she entered other people’s apartments without her permission.
The incident occurred on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at about 6am, after which a Good Samaritan rushed the victim to a general hospital. A neighour had reported to Otitoloju that the victim stole from her room.
When the neighbour was queried on what the 12-year-old stole, she could not answer. Otitoloju reportedly punished her niece after her landlady also came to report that the girl sneaked into her apartment. The girl was cut with a razor blade on that morning.
The hospital refused to treat Adeola insisting on a police report. A worker with the Child Protection Network in the Ikorodu area was said to have been invited and the worker reported the matter at the Ikorodu Police Division. The police, thereafter, arrested Otitoloju, while the victim was treated at the hospital.
Adeola, who is a primary 3 pupil, had been taken into government’s custody. The police on Monday arraigned Otitoloju on two counts bordering on child abuse at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court, Ikorodu.
The accused pleaded guilty to the charges. The razor blade was presented as an exhibit in court. The Magistrate, Mrs. A.A. Oshoniyi, sentenced Otitoloju to four years’ imprisonment with no option of fine.
The family of Late Stephen Keshi, the former national team’s coach and his wife’s are at loggerheads as to the final resting place of the former Nigerian coach and player. Reports have it that the Onyeogu Family Union of Ukpologwu Illah, Delta State has demanded that the remains of their son be buried on his ancestral ground in Illah.
However, the family of his late wife, Aburime have also requested that the body be buried on their ground as he was more of a son than an in-law to them. In a letter made available to news agency, Sports Vanguard, the union said:
“The issue that has caused us much anxiety is the proposal by the Aburime Family that they wish their in-law, our son, to be buried in Benin. As it is in Delta State, Edo State including the Ewu Kingdom and indeed Nigeria, most men are buried in their hometown on their demise. We wish to reiterate our demand as earlier stated at the meeting of 17th June, that our son Steven Okechukwu Keshi be buried at his house in his hometown Ogbe Onyeogu Ukpologwu Illah in line with his last wish before his demise.
“And this we must state is in conformity with Illah tradition, the Ewu tradition and the Chieftaincy institution which he willingly subscribed to during his lifetime,” the Ogbe Onyeogu family stated.
We believe that an issue of this nature needs no further elaboration as it is customary in Nigeria that most persons, particularly high profile personalities are buried in their hometown, to do the otherwise may portend some consequences in future going by the Illah culture and tradition.
“The recent internment of his colleague and friend, Shuaibu Amodu in Okpella, Edo State is a leading example.”
My girlfriend didn’t want to admit this to me because she was afraid of how I may react but she felt I should know.
She was sitting on these bleachers with her friend jasmine and this guy and I guess they were having conversation when he asked a weird question he says “I know you have a boyfriend but forget about him for a second if you had to have s8x with any 2 guys who would they be?,” she felt uncomfortable and said she didn’t want to answer he kept pestering her so she made up 2 names.
The guy then proceeds to say I would f8ck you (talking to my girlfriend), and his girlfriends best friend. (He has a girlfriend) the next day he says he changes his mind saying he wouldn’t f8ck his girlfriends best friend but he’d still f8ck my girlfriend.
Later that day she pinched his n1pple (I still don’t know why) so he poked her b8ob which she was very uncomfortable with he proceeded to do this a few times after that time and she told him to stop because she was clearly uncomfortable and her friend yelled at him.
I’m pretty pissed off about the whole thing he’s touching her and telling her he wants to f8ck her. I want to kick his a2s.
She doesn’t want me to freak out she doesn’t want me to do anything but she agreed if he touches her again I get to do something about it
