Yesterday, Controversial OAP, Freeze shared an image of himself with his father celebrating his as the world marks “Fathers’ Day”.
Apparently, the OAP came under heavy attack from different people who made so many outrageous claims to his paternity all due to the very vast difference in his skin color and that of his father.
Ermm…Now, Daddy freeze wants to set the record straight….
Read Him:
The response I got from my Father’s Day post was overwhelming and absolutely hilarious. Some said because my dad is really dark and I am fair I must have been adopted, others claimed I was bleaching while some even went ahead to advice my dad to do a DNA test to make sure I was really his son.
Ok guys, just incase speculation were to evolve into fact, let me set the record straight! I was not adopted o! Neither am I bleaching! Here is a pic of my mum and she is white as in oyinbo pepe all the way from a small Eastern European country called Romania.
I am from Transylvania, the birth place of the famous ‘Dracula’, who by the was was a distant relative.. Anyway, here is a little family history.
My dad was an academic genius who saw himself through school jumping from one scholarship to the other.
He went to secondary school in Tema, Ghana and came back to Nigeria in the early 70s. According to the legend, a friend informed him that the Hungarian embassy was giving scholarships to gifted students.
My dad told me that he was so broke, he had to walk all the way to the embassy and upon getting there he discovered that the last form was picked up a few minutes before he got to the embassy. My poor dad was devastated and downcast.
One of the guards at the embassy now asked him to check the Romanian embassy. My dad went there, got the form, passed the exam in flying colors and got a scholarship to study Medicine in Romania.
He met my mum who by 22, had already completed her masters. Fast forward to 2016, my dad runs a private practice in Ibadan while my mum is a deputy vice chancellor in a private university.
She announced to Nigerians That She’s in need of a Sugar Daddy as she doesn’t want anything to do with most Nigerian rich men and Politicians because, according to her: “They’re all gay and fcuk boys”.
While many are celebrating their Dad and thanking Them for bringing them to this world, This Nigerian Girl on Facebook sent her Dad a Bizzare Fathers’ Day Message.
Some have dads, but don’t have love. Some have love but don’t have dads.
The head of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, Ann Furedi, has boldly declared that abortion is simply another form of birth control and should be as freely available as other forms of contraception.
Ann who’s the CEO of Britain’s biggest abortion clinic chain, argued that there is no moral difference between decisions on a termination and whether to get married or divorced.
And there is nothing morally wrong with destroying a foetus because “it kills a being that has no sense of life or death”, she said.
Via DailyMail.co.uk
Mrs Furedi’s call for abortion to be made as easily available as condoms comes in a book to be published next month, arguing that it is ‘a travesty of our freedom’ for terminations to be regulated by criminal law.
Under the 1967 Abortion Act, abortion is legal if two doctors agree that continuing with a pregnancy involves a greater risk to the health of the woman, or her existing children, than having a termination.
Mrs Furedi, 55, argued that at a time when many women are expected both to raise children and earn money it is wrong to put any restrictions on their freedom to use abortion to end an unwanted pregnancy. In her book, ‘The Moral Case for Abortion,’ she said:
“It is a safe, effective means of birth control that can be subject to the same clinical governance and regulatory requirements as other treatments. The clinical risks of early abortion are not significantly higher than those of contraception, so why should it matter morally or legally if a woman chooses to practise birth control through this method instead of another?
“Abortion may be an act of killing – but it kills a being that has no sense of life or death, and no awareness of itself as distinct from others. Women make moral choices all the time. An abortion may be a difficult choice that a woman would rather not make. But this is no different than many decisions we make and women are no less competent to make pregnancy choices than they are to make other life-changing decisions, such as whether or not to marry, or whether or not to divorce.”
There’s been a lot astonishment running around Ghana in the last weeks. Most people, both men and women, have forgotten the BOUNTIFUL blessings of dating a fat woman (bountiful in bold red colours!!) As fat women, we looked on humorously as folks gaped in shock at a skinny groom and his plump bride.
As much as we enjoyed the shocked looks on the faces of skinny girls when they realized that they weren’t the only queens after all, we also see the importance in undertaking a little public service announcement.
Maybe the idea of ‘they fell madly in love’ is not a good enough reason for you, and you’re still wondering why a man will date a fat girl, here are the reasons.

In honour of Fathers Day celebration on Sunday June 19, Award winning musician, husband and proud papa, Peter Okoye, opens up to Punch on fatherhood and how he bonds with his two kids. His son Cameron, also gave his first interview ever. And it’s a must read!
Read Peter Okoye’s Interview First..Before Scrolling Down for his son, Cameron’s Interview:
How has fatherhood impacted you?
Fatherhood has taught me to be selfless and always consider my children first in whatever I do. In the past, I spent a fortune on pricey wristwatches and exotic cars. Today, my children come first. I spend wisely and preserve myself for them because they are my future.
How are you raising your kids?
As much as I always provide their needs, I always make it clear to them that there are millions of kids who do not have the same opportunities they have. I always let them know that street kids have no access to luxury neither are they fortunate to have a dad like myself. I also teach them about the benefits of working hard and working smart.
In what ways do you put these teachings into practise?
Sometimes I visit several rural communities with my son, so he can have a first-hand experience and feel of what it means to be poor. We also donate their old clothes and toys to the less privileged. It puts them in check . In addition, I ensure they value the little they have and are content.
What personal values shape your life?
My brother and I spent more time with our late mum as our dad was never in support of our music career at first. These days, parents encourage their kids to play soccer and do music because they have seen musicians succeed. I don’t stop my kids from pursuing their goals in life.
I am simply of the opinion that you must strive to be the best in whatever you do. If you are a carpenter, motor mechanic or driver, strive to be the best in your field. I try as much as possible not to react the same way my father reacted when we began doing music. I have seen a lot of rich kids end up the wrong way and I don’t want that for my children.
How do you spend quality time with your kids?
Whenever I am in town, I take them out to play and buy ice-cream. Sometimes, we eat out at their favourite eatery. We also go swimming on Sundays; we have a pool in our home but we prefer to go swimming elsewhere. It’s sad that sometimes when they travel for summer holidays, I am not usually around because summer is a busy period for us. So, if they will be away for two weeks and I’m free for two days in between, I join them and then I go back to work.
Has being a father restricted you in any way?
Everyone knows that I’m a crazy person on stage. I take off my shirt on stage and the fact that I am married with kids doesn’t change that. It’s called showbizness and that is what I do for a living. When I get on stage, I put aside every other thing and simply enjoy the show.
Will you tone it down when your kids become older?
Well, it depends on me and don’t forget that my fans would also have grown older. In 20 years time, the same fans that are listening to Do Me, No One Like You, will want me to relieve the good old days. I will still take off my shirt as long as I still look good. It’s showbizness so I don’t want to change that.
How do you separate being a superstar and a dad?
I wish it were possible because sometimes when I’m out with my kids, I want to spend quality time alone with them. I hate having security around me and not being able to enjoy the moment with them. I don’t want them to get used to that life because in future, they would find it difficult adjusting to not having security follow them around. I want them to live their own lives away from mine. My son is aware that I am a celebrity but my daughter doesn’t know yet. Last year, I went somewhere with my son and he turned around and asked, ‘Dad, where is your bodyguard?’
Is there anything you wish to do better as a father?
I wish that I had my children earlier; I was with their mum for years before we got married. I even had them before we got married. If I had them a long time ago, we would relate more like siblings. If they were teenagers for instance, they would know that their dad is a celebrity and can learn certain things on their own.
What do you miss about your dad?
My kids didn’t really get to know my dad before he died. If my dad was alive, I am very certain that he would visit us every week from Jos, to spend time with the kids.
How would you describe your style of parenting?
I keep it young and fresh. People have turned parenting into something else just like marriage. I still live like a young boy; I don’t want to feel and act old. I want my kids to look up to me as role model. I am inspired by the footballer, David Beckham. I want my son to grow up to become my friend. That is why I said I wish I had my children earlier.
Who is the stricter parent between you and your wife?
My wife is stricter; she has a naughty corner where she disciplines any erring child. My wife puts them in check. Whenever Cameron does something wrong in school, he confides in me first. He does this because he knows I will find a way to calm his mum’s nerves.
How do you intend to spend Father’s Day?
Thankfully, I will be around but I feel every day is Father’s Day. Trying to set out a special day to celebrate it doesn’t make sense to me. We may just buy popcorn and watch a movie together in the comfort of our home. If we decide to spend the day outdoors, we will attract stares and fans would not let me be. I won’t be able to enjoy that intimate time with my children.
How do your kids react whenever this happens?
My son especially becomes very jealous. Thankfully, he has gotten over it because his friends now ask to take pictures with him.
Dad is my best friend — Cameron Okoye
How old are you?
I am seven years old and I am in primary 3.
What do you love most about your dad?
I love his music, the way he teaches and corrects me when I do anything wrong. My dad teaches me everything I need to know and he is also my best friend.
Which of his songs is your favourite?
It’s titled Forget Your Love and my dad featured an artiste on the song. I love it because it’s my type of song; I love the beats and way he played the guitar in the track.
Would you also like to be a musician?
No. I would rather be a footballer because I feel I was born to play football. I’m a bit confused sometimes about my favourite football club. But, my favourite football players are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, because they are the best players in the world;they have a lot of skills.
How often does your dad teach you how to dance?
Yes, he teaches me how to dance. I can dance but nothing comes close to my love for football. I only dance when I want to.
Do your friends give you a preferential treatment at school?
Yes, they do. Whenever they get into trouble, they plead with me to take the blame, so they don’t get punished.
Does this work?
Yes, it does and even if I’m not at fault I take the blame. I do that because I can help them out and I don’t want my friends to get punished.
Who is your favourite-mummy or daddy?
Don’t tell my mum because the answer is my dad.
Why is he your favourite?
He is my favourite because the gift he gave me is perfect.
And what could that gift be?
He gave me ‘me’ and life because he is my father. He also got me an iPhone.
How does he correct you?
He spanks me sometimes and at other times, he just screams.
How does your mum correct you?
She sends me to the naughty corner.
What is your greatest wish for your dad on Father’s Day?
I pray that God helps him and keeps him growing in life and his career.
If you could buy something for your dad, what would it be?
I wouldn’t buy him anything. I will give him money; I’ll give him N19, 000 because that is all the money I have. I don’t mind giving him all of it because he deserves it.
Unconfirmed reports have it that the beautiful screen goddess and Special Adviser on Tourism & Development to the Akwa Ibom State government, Iniobong Edo is currently pregnant as she avoids the prying eyes of the public.
A source who claims to have it on good authority from a Nollywood insider revealed the curvy actress missed her period three months ago, according to her discussion with close associates in the industry.
She has suddenly stopped seeing her newly hired fitness instructor and has quit attending social functions.
The source said if everything went well with Ini Edo’s pregnancy, she is considering leaving Nigeria any moment from now to either U.S or UK where she will stay until she delivers her baby.
Ini Edo has kept her love life secret since her unprecedented break-up with her ex-husband, so the question of who is responsible for the pregnancy remains a wild goose chase.

I met this lady 2014 but we started dating November last year. It took her a whole year for her to accept dating me.
But then, she told me that, there is something she will tell any man who desire to marry her bt, depend on the level of seriousness of the man.
Then, I took what she planned telling her hubby to be as nothing serious nt until d relationship began to wax stronger. After being in the relationship for a while, I discovered she posses virtually all d qualities I desire in a lady and wouldn’t mind spending the rest of my life with her.
I tried to make her tell me what she has in mind that she plan to tell her hubby to be, she refused. At this stage, our both parents re aware of our relationship and we planned to have our INTRO this June.
I proposed to her last week, she accepted and busted to tears. Initially, I thought it was a tears of joy, nt knowing it was something entirely different from my thought.
I took her home with different feelings within me since she couldn’t stop crying. When we got to their house b4 she alighted, she hold my hands and told me me ‘she’s HIV positive’
I was startled for minutes. She said I should think about it if I still want the relationship.
I have make enquiries from Doctors if both of us can marry and He said yes Bt the am nt still convince. Please, I need ur sincere advice on this issue..
In a recent interview with Sahara Weekly, the actor spoke on his absence from screen.
According to him, Nollywood is getting bigger, but stories are not the way they used to be.
“If you ask me, Nollywood is getting bigger, the only thing is you may complain that the stories are not the way they used to be,” he said.
“When people complain about Nollywood, they complain of the stories and the kind of people they see. Maybe a lot of us, when we are given scripts and we don’t like the story, we can tell them we don’t want to be part of it.
And on their part, they can’t afford us so they settle for less and these things affect good production, because you may have a good story but don’t have the kind of money to pay artistes, equipment, right locations, good direction, good camera man. So if some aspects are not right, it will affect your story.
Yesterday, Seyi Shay found trouble by herself after she alleged that Nigerian Afro-pop singer, Wizkid wrote the entire One Dance hit song and gave it to Canadian superstar, Drake.
The singer made the claim while being interviewed by DJ Akademiks on Jamaica’s One Stage TV show.
Shortly after, the man in the eye of the storm; Wizkid took to Twitter to deny the claims made by Seyi Shay.
In a bid to rescue the situation, Seyi Shay has issued an apology, claiming that she was misinformed and spoke based on hearsay.
I love wiz n I was just tryin 2 defend my bro. I stand 4 African music. I spoke based on 'Hear say' but I was mis informed… #Sorry#OOC
Seyi Shay who is currently in Jamaica went on a TV show to say that ‘One Dance’ is not Drake’s song.
According to the singer, Wizkid originally wrote the song and it was produced by Nigeria’s Legendary Beats. She then added that the Canadian rapper stripped much of the lyrics and used the rhythm for the smash hit single ‘One Dance’.
It is unclear how Seyi Shay came upon this information and if she was permitted to say such on international TV.
However, she is not the first to accuse Drake of ripping off Wizkid.
Recall that rapper Wale went on a radio show to also say that Drake ‘sounds like Wizkid’ on the hit track Controlla off the new album ‘Views’.
“The lyrics, everything,” Wale clarified. “That’s my opinion. [Drake] is a phenomenal writer, performer, but I just feel like he sounds like Wizkid in Controlla.
“I do feel like [Wizkid] has a lot of influence on Controlla,” Wale continued. He cited lyrics from the track, like “take my money/have my money”, which he insists is totally Wizkid.
“That’s big-talk Nigeria,” Wale concluded.
You can watch her here:
Meanwhile, Wizkid has fired back at Seyi Shay, calling her a liar:
I appreciate everyone loving the sound right now. Thank u so much for your support. God bless us all.

While addressing journalists at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Sunday, President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country few hours ago after a 14-day vacation trip to London, jokingly challenged one of the correspondents, who asked him of his state of health, to a wrestling competition.
“You have seen me, you saw me when I was going, you can do the assessment by yourself.
“You can see me inspecting the guards of honour, if you want to wrestle me, you can do so, but you know I’m taller than you,” he said, adding that he is resuming work stronger and more energetic.
The president, who was clad in a light brown kaftan with a cap to match, did not use the helicopter meant to transport him to the presidential villa, but rather embarked on road journey.
President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after spending 14 days in London, United Kingdom.
Buhari arrived Nigeria via the presidential jet at about 5.33pm at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
He was received by Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; members of the Federal Executive Council, top government officials, federal lawmakers and service chiefs among others.
Here are pictures of the president as he arrived Abuja:
Anton Yelchin, best known as Chekov in the latest Star Trek films, died in a fatal traffic collision early Sunday morning, his publicist confirmed to ABC News. He was 27 years old.
According to TMZ, Yelchin was pinned to a brick mailbox by his own car in what appears to be a freak accident.
His friends became alarmed because he was supposed to meet them hours earlier for a rehearsal.
They went to his San Fernado Valley home at around 1am and found him pinned between his car and a brick mailbox, which was attached to a security gate.
he driveway had a steep incline and the car engine was still running and in neutral when law enforcement arrived on the scene. It is unclear why he got out of the car. Cops do not suspect foul play.
Yelchin was the only child of Russian parents. His family emigrated to the United States when Yelchin was a baby. Yelchin starred in 2006’s Alpha Dog before he was cast in J.J. Abram’s version of the Star Trek series.
He acted in the next Star Trek installment, Star Trek Beyond, which premieres in summer 2016 as well as the upcoming film Rememory, and the recently-released Green Room with Patrick Stewart.
A popular Yoruba actor Abdul-Lateef Titilope Ashimiyu known as Itakure has passed on. He passed away last night after two days of mild malaria fever.

In a recent interview published by Punch, the 80-year-old Alhaja Sikiratu Yekini, mother of late Super Eagles striker, Rashidi Yekini, has finally opened up on her financial status and what has been happening since the death of her son.
When asked how life has been treating her since the death of her son, Yekini’s mother revealed some interesting and shocking details many will find very surprising.
She said: “I have been managing. It has not been easy at all. Since he died, I have not had substantial support. I have been surviving on the rent I collect from the house Rashidi built for me as well as the proceeds from my petty trade. As you can see here, I sell bread, biscuits and some other household cooking materials. I use the rent to do some little repairs on the house and also to find at least a meal a day or more depending on what the day brings.”
Asked about the houses which he collects rent and the allegation by Yekini’s lawyer that she collects about N500,000 from rent yearly, she said:
“We have five flats in this house. I use one flat, my surviving son, Akeem, and his family use one flat while I rented out the remaining three flats. This is almost a remote area. It is not like Abuja, Lagos or even Ilorin where you can collect substantial amount for rent. The tenants were paying N30,000 per annum but I just increased it to N45,000 per annum this year. That means that prior to this year, I was collecting only N90,000 per annum from the three flats.
“The lawyer is not being truthful. He is maligning me, and stopping people from assisting me through his statements. Since my son died, if people have given money to the lawyer for me, he has not given me. It is only now, due to media publicity, that people started helping me.”
Speaking about how she has been helped so far by well meaning Nigerians, she revealed that some well meaning Nigerians have come to her aid since news broke about her poor living condition.
She said: “During Rashidi’s one year memorial anniversary, Osun and Oyo states’ governments gave money to his wives and children. Osun State gave his wives N2m and Oyo gave N2m as well. The Kwara State Government made a promise but it has not been fulfilled. Some people recently started helping me. There is a group from Abuja that opened a bank account for me. Some money has been paid in for me. Also, Yinka Ayefele recently sent a delegation to me.
“He read about my ordeal in the papers and he was touched and sent people to ask me what my needs were. I told them. Also, Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike was touched after learning of my story. He came here and gave me N100,000. Some weeks ago, the wife of the Kwara State Governor, Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed, sent a delegation and they gave me clothes, food, beverages and some cash. I am grateful to them. May God reward them but I still need more.”
However, she revealed that the Nigerian Football Federation totally abandoned her and her family. She disclosed that she has not received a kobo from them. In her words: “They [NFF] have not done anything. If government or people have been giving Yekini’s lawyer (Jibril Olanrewaju) in Ibadan, things to give me, he has not been sending them to me. I am not aware that NFF has given any money to the family since my son died.”
The woman revealed that it was poverty that pushed her into selling bread and biscuit.
She said “Poverty is one of the reasons. I want to make money. I may buy bread at N300; when I sell at N350, I make N50 profit, which I use to survive. I do not want to stay idle. I am selling bread to make money, so that I won’t die early.”
She is begging the government to assist her with money to survive as things are getting hard and she doesn’t have a way to sustain herself.
“If they can assist me with money, I will appreciate it. I plead with President Muhammadu Buhari, the NFF, state governments and everyone to assist me. They should remember that my son made Nigeria proud. They should not abandon me now that he is no more and I am now an old woman. When my son was alive, he was always there for me. If Nigeria helps me, God will bless the country more.” She said.
