The lady pictured above was accused of snatching her best friend’s boyfriend and secretly went ahead to marry him.

Recall the friend who made the wild allegation, posted some private snapshots to back up her claims.

But the wife, Rume, has come out with details of what happened. Read her own side of the story…

Love hurt is never easy to bear and for that fact I say sorry for whatever you are going through! I am deeply hurt with everything and the insults but people should really know the truth before slandering a human being… the last time I spoke with @fashioncraftbyeve on phone, she apologised for bad-mouthing me to my fiancé (so that he would call off the wedding) and yet here we are again! .

I haven’t had the courage to even talk to my fiance because I can’t help but be angry with all this (but if you knew the truth you would know that he did nothing wrong except be a gentleman and try to not hurt her ‘supposed’ feelings and quite frankly he didn’t owe her any explanation!)

I have seen all his attempts to reply every slander and vindicate me but honestly this has proven unnecessary and hey! One day day we would look back and be like ‘remeber when we had to go tru that experience and remeber how we divinely overcame it and became stronger?’ Because the truth is seeing him go tru all the terror and torment from last night till this morning has made me love him more.

38yrs old Oye-Lowo Ayediran Ajanaku was brutally stabbed to death early on Tuesday morning by his wife, Yewande Ayediran (nee Fatoki) at their home in Akobo estate, Ibadan after a domestic dispute.

According to reports, Yewande, a lawyer and a staff of Directorate of Public Prosecution at the Ministry of Justice, Ibadan, is also the daughter of one Honorable Fatoki and had been married to Ayediran for three years without a child.

On Monday night, she heard her husband had a son outside wedlock.

When the dispute between the couples started that night, Yewande had earlier stabbed Ayediran on his shoulder; the landlord had interfered and had settled the dispute and Ayediran had been taken to the hospital where his wound was stitched. Thereafter, he went home to sleep.

However, at the early hours of Tuesday morning while he was still sleeping due to the effect of the drugs he had taken, his wife again reportedly slaughtered him and locked the door refusing to call for help and ignoring his weak plea for help.

After a while, reports say his aggrieved wife called on the Landlady who upon response saw him in the pool of his own blood. He died few minutes later.

Ayediran’s corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.

Yewande is presently detained at the state CID Iyaganku, Ibadan. She was taken too the house where she had allegedly killed her husband on Thursday afternoon by the police for on-sight investigation:

Sources say her family are trying to use their influence to suppress the case.

Daily Trust reports that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has suspended the operations of Bristow Helicopters’ Sikorsky S-76X++ type, following the crash landing incident in Lagos on Wednesday.

Although there were no casualties involved, the NCAA states that due to the frequent incident of crashes involving the aircraft type, the operations of the series will be halted in order for a full scale audit to be carried out particularly on the Sikorsky S- 76C++ type.

The Director General of NCAA, Capt. Mukhtar Usman, who made the announcement at a press conference today, also stated that the suspension was standard procedure to confirm the adequacy and propriety of the operating aircraft type.

“This is not new in the industry, it is one of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) all over the world”, he said.

The first Bristow crash with the same type of Helicopter, which killed six of the 12 passengers on board including the pilot and co-pilot, was recorded in August 2015.

Following the downward slide of oil price in the International market, international oil firm, Royal Dutch Shell says it is cutting down on 10,000 jobs.

Chief Executive of the company, Ben van Beurden, said this in a webcast on its 2015 fourth quarter and full year results early today February 4th..

“We are making substantial changes in the company, as we refocus Shell, and respond to lower oil prices. As we have previously indicated, this will include a reduction of some 10,000 staff and direct contractor positions in 2015-16 across both companies.” he said

Yesterday, we reported the story of a man beaten up by young cadets of the Nigerian Army because he allegedly complimented a female officer.

Now the Nigerian Defence Academy have reacted to the story. According to the academy, their investigations shows that the incident happened in Lagos in 2014 while the cadets were on break.

They intend to pursue their investigations to the fullest as they will not tolerate such behaviours.
